NOTE: Yes, this is a Ben 10 crossover with Cardfight Vanguard in which Emi Sendou receives the Omnitrix. To explain as to why I've done this it's because she's one of the least obvious choices out of anyone. Kamui, Naoki, and Morikawa are too Ben like to be interesting choices. Aichi or Kai would've been very obvious and way more difficult to work with. So, I went with Emi Sendou! Some other things to now go over to give you guys a better picture of this story.

1. This story will have OCs and Ben 10 characters mixed in with the Vanguard characters. I will NOT do OC aliens tho. Every alien in this story will have appeared in Ben 10.

2. Emi will be rocking with the original 10 that Ben started with. I know most writers who do this sort of thing give the character who gets the Omnitrix a different 10 set of aliens compared to Ben. But, for me giving her the original 10 just makes it easier for me. However, Emi will be unlocking aliens in a different order than Ben did, so there's that.

3. When does this story take place? This story takes place somewhere around the Link Joker arc. Do expect that plotline to still exist, but I won't necessarily tell you when it'll happen.

4. Will there be Cardfights in this story? Sometimes, considering this story will mainly be focusing on Emi and Friend's adventures with the Omnitrix, I can't guarantee too many Cardfights happening. Majority of them would be cannon ones anyway, in which you should already know how those end.

I do hope you guys will be willing to give this silly idea of mine a chance. This story was very much inspired from other authors who have done this very idea with other series like MHA, Loud House, and Ed Edd n Eddy. Please leave a review and tell me what you think.

Chapter 1: Alien Trip

"A camping trip? Really?" Rekka Tatsunagi asked, raising an eyebrow at the paper in front of her. The paper was a permission slip for the kids to get signed for the class trip. Next to her were her two best friends Emi Sendou and Mai Tobita who were sitting in the two empty seats next to her. Contrasting Rekka's skepticism and annoyance, Emi was looking optimistic.

"Well, I think that this trip will be great! Filled with marshmallows, friends, and stories!" Emi's head was filled with daydreams of camping. She's gone on trips with her brother and friends that were kinda like camping trips. There wasn't much reason for the auburn haired girl to not be excited. Her childhood friend Mai shared her excitement.

"We can also play Vanguard during the camping trip. It'll be so much fun, Rekka!" Mai told the youngest idol. Rekka blanched from her friend's enthusiasm at the aspect of camping. She wasn't looking forward to sleeping in tents or bugs, but sighs in acceptance anyway. If her friends are with her, then what could possibly go wrong?

"Seems we have some happy campers here, girls." An annoying voice cut through the girl's happy atmosphere. All three turn to see some of their classmates Kamiko Kimura and two other girls approaching. Kamiko wore a standard Miyaji Middle School uniform with the tie loose. Her short black hair complimented her grey colored eyes and pale skin. Lifting a hand to her mouth, she stifled a fake laugh.

"Playing your silly card game in the woods must be a regular thing for you, losers." Kamiko and her groupies laughed.

"Yeah! My brother and I would go on camping trips with our friends. We'd play Vanguard, and other games with each other all the time! You guys can join us if you want?" Emi lifted her hand to initiate a handshake to the mean trio that just mocked them. Some other students who were watching laughed at Kamiko's failed attempt, making the girl blush.

Scowling at the peppy female in front of her, Kamiko slapped Emi's hand away. "I wouldn't be caught dead playing some childish games with any of you." Kamiko stormed away with her friends following. "Who does that Sendou think she is!? Dismissing my words and making a fool of me! I'll show her!" Kamiko thought as she left the classroom.

Emi frowned at Kamiko's retreating backside and held the hand that was slapped away. "I wish she'd be nicer to us? I don't even know what we did to anger her." Emi told her two friends. Rekka sighed and shook her head at Emi's attempt to become friends with Kamkio, who in her personal opinion is an annoying brat.

"Give it up Emi, you can't be friends with everyone. And not everyone is going to like Vanguard or us. No matter how popular I may be." Rekka lifted her oversized twin drills at the last part.

"Rekka's right, Emi. We should just focus on making the camping trip the best for us." Mai held Emi's hands in a supportive manner.

"You guys are right! This camping trip will be the best trip with the Vanguard Cardfight Circle Club there to spice things up!" Emi raised her fist into the air to cheer with the other two following suit.

"Have fun on your camping trip, Emi. Be safe too." Shizuka Sendou hugged her daughter as the transportation bus pulled up to their home.

"I will mom. I'll be safe, I have Rekka and Mai with me." Emi assured her mother. Emi looked behind her mother and saw her older brother Aichi Sendou come over to hug her.

"Stay safe, Emi. If you need anything you can call us if you need to." Aichi reminded his sister, making her pout a bit.

"You shouldn't worry about me, Aichi! I should be worried about who's going to wake you up for school while I'm gone for the week!" Emi's hands went to her hips as she gave her brother a scolding glare.

"Emi! I'll be fine and I don't oversleep that much!" Aichi blushed in embarrassment at Emi's words. Shizuka laughed at her children's usual antics before motioning Emi to get on the bus before it takes off without her. Waving goodbye to her family, Emi hops on the bus with excitement flowing through her. The morning of her exciting school trip already starting off with wholesome goodness.

Until a foot was oddly placed in her path, tripping the young Sendou and sending her face first into the bus floor.

Laughter erupted through the bus as both Rekka and Mai rushed to their friend's aid. Rekka directed her attention to the perpetrator of the incident, while Mai helped Emi up. "Kamiko! I know that was your foot!" Rekka shouted. Kamiko sat in her seat, an innocent look playing on her face at Rekka's accusation.

"I have no idea what you could be talking about, Tatsunagi! I've been sitting here, chatting with my friends this whole time." Kamiko feigned innocence and Rekka was ready to explode.

"I-It's fine, Rekka. No need for arguing or fighting on a bus, especially since I don't think you getting into a fight would be any beneficial." Emi grabbed Rekka's arm to pull her back. The youngest Tatsunagi relented, knowing that getting into a fight before the trip even started would cause Suiko to punish her harshly. The club members made it to their seats on the bus, embarrassed by what had transpired.

Kamiko hid a grin that was beginning to form on her face. The first step to embarrass those three went off without a hitch. "Not feeling so friendly now! Are you, Sendou!?"

Mai placed a comforting hand on Emi's shoulder, seeing her friend on the border of tears. "D-Don't cry, Emi! It wasn't your fault! Don't let this get you down!"

"Exactly! It's that stupid Kamiko's fault! We're still gonna have the best camping trip, right!?" Rekka threw a glare at Kamiko's direction. Sniffling a bit and clearing away any peeking tears, Emi gave her friends a smile.

"You guys are right. I won't let this get me down and we'll have the best camp trip ever!" The girls hugged each other as the bus continued driving towards the campsite.

Once the bus arrived at the large campsite the teachers instructed the kids to change out of their uniforms and into more comfortable clothing in the cabin. Emi and her friends left the bathroom in their new outfits. Emi was dressed in a pink hoodie and a white knee length skirt with brown boots. Mai wore a white short sleeved shirt with "FLOWER GARDEN '' printed on the front and a short red skirt; completing the outfit with whtie tennis shoes. Rekka was wearing a dark red shirt and pink overalls with red boots.

The teachers had instructed the students to get with their groups and to pick out an area for their tents. "Don't go anywhere too far from the main cabin! Boys and girl's tents must be on opposite sides! No going to another gender's tent! And ask any of the teachers and instructors for help!"

Finding a nice spot for their tent the girls managed to get their tent set up perfectly. Emi and Rekka moved inside to place their sleeping backs in with Mai standing outside watching everyone else. However, they failed to notice something flying towards them and hit Mai directly in the face. The black haired girl immediately panicked as she saw what had hit her.

"SNAKE!" Mai screamed in terror and ran directly into the tent, knocking it over with Emi and Rekka still inside. All three girls screamed in panic at the entanglement of the tent around them. The teachers and other students rushed over immediately to the girl's area after hearing all of the screaming.

Looking at the mess the girl's had gotten themselves into one of the teachers picked up the snake at the ground and frowned, disappointedly. "Girls! This is a fake snake! Pull yourselves together!" She yelled at Vanguard club. The revealment of the fake snake made the rest of the students laugh loudly.

The teacher turned back to the students with a stern glare. "No more of these pranks or it'll be the first bus trip back home for whoever's found responsible!"

Inside the entanglement of the tent all three girls were blushing madly in embarrassment with Mai apologizing rapidly. After ensuring their soft hearted friend that nothing was her fault, the girls moved to set their tent back up again.

Behind the bushes Kamiko giggled up a storm at her successful prank on her targets. "Take that you losers! Hope that teaches you to be so stuck up!" Kamiko gloats in her mind. After setting up tents the kids were allowed to explore the campgrounds before dinner, which Kamiko took great pleasure in at the many opportunities to continue pranking the Cardfight club.

In the deep reaches of space far from the camping trip was a galactic battle of epic proportions. Sounds of explosions, sparks, blasters, and cannons filled the void of space. Multiple small spaceships flew around the vast void of space in a rush to escape the massive fleet behind them.

"Lord Vilgax! We have the transportation ship locked on target!" A robotic voice announced to it's master. It turned back to the screen to see the small teal ship struggle it's way to escape from the fleet

Vilgax the conqueror sat on his throne within the large green and orange ship. The squid faced monarch allowed a malicious smile to form on his face. Lifting one of his large claws he laughed. "Finally! The Omnitrix is almost within my grasp! Hurry and capture the ship, but don't destroy the Omnitrix!" Vilgax ordered his minions. Each one nodded their heads and went back to complete their task.

So focused on his own glory, Vilgax missed the smaller ship charging a large cannon in preparation. Before he could give out the order for evasion, the blast hit the navigation center of the ship dead on, creating a gigantic explosion that severely injured him.

With Vilgax and his fleet in disarray the smaller ship launched a tiny pod out of itself in the direction of a green and blue planet.

Emi Sendou sighed in front of the campfire that was created by the camp instructors. She held a stick with 5 marshmallows stuck on close to the fire. She sighed once, all of the enthusiasm she held about the camping trip had been snuffed out by all of the mishaps that had happened throughout the whole day.

With her falling on her face on the bus, their tent getting ruined, someone hiding her deck in the boy's bathroom, Rekka's(Many)suitcases having super glue placed on the handles, and Mai getting tricked by another fake snake. It seems someone was out to ruin their camping experience and Emi didn't know why.

Rekka knew who and why as she glared at Kamiko and her group. Who were sitting at another table eating their dinner. The young idol knew that Kamiko was the one pranking them, but without any substantial evidence to prove that the annoying girl was responsible there was no point in telling the adults. Even her status as an idol would be pointless in proving the girl guilty. So, instead Rekka is spending most of the evening trying to calm Mai's nerves. The poor girl has been filled with anxiety that even more snakes will come flying at her at any point.

"S-Snake c-could be anywhere." Mai mumbled as she hugged her legs close to her chest and rocked back and forth.

"Shhh...it's ok, Mai. No snakes will be jumping out at you anytime soon." Rekka soothed her friend by stroking her back.

"I'm going to go explore."

Rekka's and Mai's attention snapped towards their usually happy friend in sudden surprise. Emi had eaten all of her marshmallows and was currently walking away from the campsite. Both watched their friend leave in worry, but stayed where they are. Afraid that someone would tamper with their stuff again if they all left.

Kamiko watched Emi leave, dejected. She smirked pleased with herself and went back to conversing with her friends.

Emi walked far from the camp. She needed time to think which she couldn't get from the bustling noise of everyone at the camp or from her friend's worried glances. Emi glanced up at the stars and saw something glicined.

"Oh wow! A shooting star! Maybe wishing upon will help make this camp trip better!" Emi closed her eyes to make her wish. "I wish that my clubmates and I will receive a more eventful and fun camping trip for the rest of the week." Emi wished and opened her eyes. Her eyes soon widened in fear as the "Shooting Star' she wished upon was hurtling right towards her.

"KYYAAAAA!" Emi ran away as it crashed into the ground in the spot she was previously standing in. Emi coughed and got to her feet as the dust cleared. Emi walked over to the crater that was formed by the "Shooting Star". The youngest Sendou peered inside of the crater and questioned what she saw.

"Is that a satellite?" Emi asked, nobody in particular. Suddenly part of the ground she was standing on broke and she tumbled into the crater. "EEEK!" Emi squealed.

Getting back up to her two feet once more she brushed off her clothes. Emi's blue orbs were locked onto the "satellite" as it made a weird noise to open up. Inside of the orb was a bulky black and white watch with a green and white faceplate.

"A watch? What is a watch doing in outer space?" Without even realizing it, her right arm moved to reach for the watch. Before she could pull her arm back, the watch suddenly latched onto her wrist and pricked her skin. Emi did the only thing she could do in this situation.

She screamed in terror.

"Alright kids! It's time to turn in for the night! Put out your campfires, throw any trash that you have into the garbage cans inside the cabin, and go to bed!" The teachers and instructors walked around the camp helping out students clean up.

Rekka looked at her phone and looked at the time. It was now 10:30 pm and Emi had been gone for over 40 minutes. Rekka's senses went on high alert at this realization. "How far did Emi even go? Ugh, I knew I should've just gone with her." Rekka looked over to see a Mai slowly dozing off to sleep. Rekka shook her friend awake. "This is no time to be sleeping, Mai. We have to go look for Emi."

"E-Emi? Oh! Emi's go-" Rekka covered Mai's mouth with her head.

"Be more quiet about it! We're going to go look for her ourselves. I'm sure she couldn't have gotten far." Rekka whispered to Mai. The dark haired girl nodded her head and the two quietly snuck away from the camp while everyone else was busy.

After screaming and running around for 5 minutes, Emi finally calmed down and took a look at the watch on her wrist. "What kind of watch is this anyway? I've never seen anything like it." Emi said while examining the watch. "Maybe if I take it off?" Emi pulls on the watch for a good two minutes before coming to another conclusion.

The watch was stuck to her wrist.

She wanted to scream again, but it wouldn't help.

Sighing Emi slumped to the ground in resignation and frowned at her horrible luck this entire day. Lifting up her arm she peered at the watch once more. "Are these buttons?" Emi wondered before pushing one of the green buttons. Suddenly the face plate popped up, scaring the poor girl into sitting up.

Emi blinked weirdly at the black silhouette that had appeared on the face plate. Turning the dial she noticed more silhouettes within the watch. She had counted 10 silhouettes. Even though her mother and brother made it a habit to remind Emi not to touch anything weird, for this one moment the young girl decided to let her curiosity take control. Making a decision that would change her life forever.

Emi pressed down on the face plate and was enveloped in a mass of green light. Suddenly red charcoal started to appear all around her body in multitudes, before splitting up into sections. Fire appeared in the spaces left around her body and her head erupted into flames. Her chest grew a bit more and her body turned into a more developed hourglass shape for a woman.

When the light died down in Emi stood in silence at what had happened. She took one good look at her body and came to one more conclusion that day.

She was on fire….

Emi proceeded to scream in terror once more.
