Hey guys! I wanna to say thank you for liking my redo of my first Final Space story with my OC Trina! Really appreciate it.
This chapter will be about Little Cato helping Trina with her powers.
So, relax and enjoy the story!
In the Crimson Light, it was actually nice having Trina around. She would cook, help build stuff, and be a pleasant person to talk to. Nightfall would try to train her on her powers and Avocato would teach her how to fight. Even Gary would teach her how to play Alien Wars: a game similar to checkers but with aliens' figures.
Right now, Little Cato was just walking around the ship until he heard clapping. He kept hearing it until he saw Trina in her new room looking frustrated.
Trina - "Come on! Do something!"
She kept on clapping her hands and nothing was happening. Trina even tried clapping her hands on the ground and nothing was happening. After a few minutes, she tried to use her powers again.
Little Cato - "Trina? What are you doing?"
Trina - *sarcastic* "I'm keeping my hands warm! What's it looks like? I'm trying to use my powers!"
Trina started to clap again but once again; nothing was happening. This was getting Trina even more frustrated.
Little Cato - "Nothings happening."
Trina - *sarcastically* "Gee, ya think?!"
Trina got so mad she kicked a chair but ended up hurting her foot. She began to hold her foot and jump on the other. Little Cato helped her sit on her bed and sat next to her.
Little Cato - *freaked out* "Whoa calm down! You don't need to break things. Or yourself."
Trina- *sighs* "I'm sorry. I just can't seem to get my powers to work. It's so frustrating it is like my father gave me these powers but yet I suck at them! Big time."
Little Cato - *comforting* "You don't suck. You're still learning."
Trina - "You really think so?"
Little Cato - "Yeah. Powers take time to develop. They don't just happen in one day. Same thing with fighting because it took awhile for me to be the awesome fighter I am now."
Trina - "It's not just that it has been happening to me for a while. It like it want to work when they want too."
Little Cato - "Maybe it's resting itself?"
Trina - *sadly* "Maybe…"
Little Cato - "How about you take a break and hang with me for a while?"
Trina - "Whoa really?"
Little Cato - "Yeah it could be fun!"
Trina - "Well okay. I could use a little downtime."
Little Cato - "I really don't have anybody to hang out with. I mean you know how adults are always busy. Even Ash is busy because she does wants to keep an eye on Fox. Even though he's better from Clarence shocking him, she still wants to take care of him. In case something happens."
Trina - *disgusted* "Can't believe that guy did that. What a jerk."
Little Cato - *nodding* "Yeah. I'm glad we finally ditched him."
Trina - "But should we ask Gary and your dad first if we can go out."
Little Cato - "Good idea. You know how protective they can be."
Trina - "Not that I blame them."
Little Cato - "Good point."

At the main room, Gary and Avocato at the table playing cards. Gary was happy because it is one of the few times the Team Squad gets a day off. One of the things he enjoyed doing was playing games with Avocato. Beside fighting bad guys with him of course. For once, it was nice that Gary had a real friend he can count on and play cards with. Gary did a smug smile at Avocato and slammed his cards on the table.
Gary - *cocky* "Ha! I won again!"
Avocato - *smirks* "Yeah after I beat you the first three times."
Gary - *defended* "Hey! I told you the first one wasn't my fault because KVN distracted me and kept on taking my cookies."
KVN - *pops up* "Hey Gary! Can I play cards with you?"
Gary - "No! This is for me and Avocato since we are the cool bros. You are not cool at all."
KVN - "But am I your bro?"
Gary - "You're not even my bro!"
Trina - *cleared her throat* "Hey Guys."
Gary. - *sees the kids* "Oh hey Trina and Little Cato. What's up?"
Little Cato - "We were just gonna go hang out. I hope that's okay."
Gary - *shocked* "Oh I see what's going on…*excited* You two want to go out on a date!"
Trina - *blushing* "Wait what?!
Little Cato - *mad* "It's not a date!"
Trina - "We're just friends!"
Gary - "Hey that's how all couples start: as friends but then they take all those loves of stairs. They keep going on no matter how many steps there are. Then they reach the floor of love."
KVN - "Like us!"
Gary -*shoves him away* "Shut up!"
KVN - "You can't deny our friendship Gary!" *laughs*
Gary growls in annoyance and pushes KVN away. Little Cato rolled his eyes in annoyance and then turned to his dad:
Little Cato - "So is it okay, Dad?"
Avocato - *a bit uneasy* "Well it depends. Why do you wanna go out?"
Trina - "Well I've been kinda stressed lately. Little Cato offered to hang out with me."
Little Cato - "And we could use the break from space and stuff."
Avocato - "Well then, I guess it's okay. Just be careful."
Trina - "Don't worry we will be fine."
Little Cato - "We promise."
Gary - "So where are you guys going on your date?"
Little Cato and Trina - *annoyed* "It's not a date!"
Trina - "We will go to a nearby planet."
Avocato - "Maybe Gary and I should tag along. You can't be too careful on new planets."
Gary - "You don't know what kind of freaky weirdos would be there."
Little Cato - *nodding* "That is true."
Avocato - "I would tag Nightfall along as well, but she's too busy."
Trina - "Okay, you guys can come."
Gary - *whispers to Little Cato* "Don't worry Spider Cat, I'll give you tips on how to impress Lady Magic."
Little Cato - *annoyed* "Will you stop it?!"
Gary - "Alright Alright."
Avocato - "Come on, let's go."
"Wait!"
They turned around and saw Ash and Fox.
Fox - "We heard everything. We wanna come."
Little Cato - "Uh why?"
Ash - "Because Fox is tired of being cooped up lately. *seriously* Plus I don't trust this date with the magic girl."
Trina - *confused* "Uhh…No it's not a date. I need to learn my powers. Nightfall is too busy right now."
Fox - "And I don't trust Trina being around Little Cato. He can be a bad influence."
Avocato - "Hey watch it."
Gary - "Don't worry about it guys. They are gonna be safe with us. But you are welcome to join us."
Ash and Fox - "Yes!"

Gary, Avocato, and the kids took one of the mini space pods. Then they landed on a planet called Zepzoid and it looked peaceful and garden-like. Trina and Fox were amazed at how the planet looks.
Trina - "This place looks really nice. I always had a love for plant stuff."
Fox - "Me too! I have a plant growing back in the ship. I named him Carl after the head I found."
Trina - *shocked* "You have a human head as a plant pot?!"
Fox - "What?! No! It's a robot head. It had the name Carl on it."
Gary - "Oh I remember Carl. That bastard still owes me 25 bucks."
Avocato - "For what?"
Gary - "I beat him in a game of cards. My awesome master skills couldn't handle his robotic brain!"
Little Cato - *amazed* "It's so beautiful. I didn't think there was actually a planet this nice."
Ash - "Fox and I actually had been to nice planet before. *To Fox* remember the planet Lugar?"
Fox - "Ooh that planet was the best! All the crystal and mole people."
Ash - "The best part was the mole people threw us a party!"
Avocato - *serious* "Well, be careful because some planets could actually be deadly."
Gary - "And have weird crap."
Little Cato - "Got it. Don't worry we are basically grown ups. We can protect yourself."
Trina - "We'll be fine. We can call you if anything."
Ash - "Can we go with you?"
Trina - "Sure why not."
Gary - "Make sure you call us in case something weird happens. Like really big creepy bad weird."
Fox - "You got it!"
Little Cato, Fox, Ash and Trina began to walk away in different directions. Gary and Avocato decide to also take a different direction of the plant. To make sure that it was safe for the kids. Little Cato, Ash, Fox and Trina stopped by a creek and it was really nice with all the clear water and flowers. After a few minutes of awkward quietness, Trina said:
Trina - "So... You think you guys can help me?"
Little Cato - "Of course I would. What are friends for?"
Fox - "Friends are one of the best things in life."
Ash - "Well I didn't really have friends before I met you guys and it is great having them."
Trina - *smiles* "Thanks guys."
Little Cato - "No problem. So why don't we start with your most basic power. I heard Wizardian can make little statues from the ground. Maybe we can start with a bird statue or maybe a cube? It Depends on which one is easier for you."
Trina - *doubtfully* "Well alright. Let's do the bird one."
Trina took a deep breath and began to clap her hands and put it on the ground. But nothing came out. Trina tried three times but still the same results: nothing.
Little Cato - "What's wrong
Trina - "I don't know I mean it like I'm doing something wrong…"
Ash - "Maybe your powers are locked up?"
Trina - "'Maybe."
Little Cato - "Well What is this power supposed to do? I mean what can it truly do?"
Trina - "Well you already know that Wizardian can not only shapeshift into anyone but anything as well."
Little Cato - "Like a awesome cool ship?"
Trina - "Actually I was thinking more of a weapon like a gun or knife at least."
Little Cato - "Oh right. That would be too big for you."
Trina - "Right. The purpose of our powers is not just to perform any kind of alchemy, to make weapons from the ground to healing injuries on yourself and others."
Fox - "You mean like magic?"
Trina - "Sort of. Some people consider it a science too. Like Wizardians can also fix broken things, make stuff like water hot or cold, etc."
Little Cato - *thinking* "Hmmm...I got it! How about we start something small? Like making a cup of water hot?"
Trina - "What would that do?"
Little Cato - "It can help you with your alchemy powers by baby steps. My Dad always says the small steps are the important ones."
Trina - "I guess that could work. Your Dad is really wise."
Little Cato - *happy* "He's one of the wisest guys ever. Let's try it."
Little Cato got a cup of water and gave it to Trina. Trina held the cup of water in her hands. She was looking a bit nervous.
Little Cato - "Okay give it a shot."
Trina - *takes a deep breath* "Alright here goes nothing."
Trina first put the cup on the ground. Then she began to rub her hands and was starting to get ready to clap her hands. Little Cato noticed Trina still looked nervous and said:
Little Cato - "Don't be nervous about not doing it. Try focusing on the thought you want to do."
Trina takes a deep breath and concentrates. Trina began to think of just focusing on her powers and not thinking of not being able to do it. After a few minutes, she felt the cup getting hot and some smoke hitting her face. She opened her eyes and saw Little Cato, Fox and Ash looked at her in amazement. Then she looked down and saw that she actually made the cup of water boiled.
Little Cato - *amazed* "Holy crap!"
Trina - *shocked* "I... I did it!"
Little Cato - "I knew you could do it!"
Little Cato and Trina hugged each other. Realize what they were doing, Trina and Little Cato quickly pulled away blushing. Fox had a teasing smile on his face while Ash had a slightly jealous look on her face.
Trina - *blushing* "O-Oh sorry."
Little Cato: *blushing* "That's okay. Good job by the way."
Trina - "Thanks."
Little Cato - "We better show this to Dad and Gary."
Then they heard some rustling noises in the woods
Ash - "What was that?"
Then in like a quick shot they got shot with two tranquiller darts and they fell on the ground knocked out. Fox and Ash were horrified on what happened to their friends. Just when Fox loaded his gun and Ash was ready to use her powers, they got trapped in a net. The net began to shock them and it knocked them out.
Then two aliens came out. The two aliens had red skin, black eyes, and were wearing hunting suits. They had lots of weapons in bags.
Alien - "Ha! Got em!"
Alien 2 - "Those two would make some fine coats or something!"
Alien - "What should we do in the ones in nets?"
Alien 2 - "Eh leave them. We always catch big ones anyway. These two little ones can be for good use depending how rare they are."
They grab the kids and slung them over their shoulders.

Gary and Avocato was walking around the planet. They were making sure nothing deadly was on the planet. Gary and Avocato even had their weapons out just in case.
Avocato - *scan some plants* "Alright everything looks okay so far."
Gary - "Well of course I mean they are plants. Plants can't kill you."
Avocato - "You seriously forgot how there are deadly plants like poison Ivy?"
Gary - *sheepishly* "Oh right. But still, this planet looks pretty harmless."
Avocato - "It might seem harmless but inside it can be deadly."
Gary - "Oh like a volcano! They seem like harmless mountains, but they shoot out burning lava that can melt you like ice."
Avocato - "Yeah I guess you can put it like that."
Gary - "All I'm saying is that you need to ease up a little. Little Cato is a tough kid."
Avocato - *sighs* "It's not just that Gary. Ever since getting him back, I feel like the last time I let him go…Will be the last time."
Gary - *putting a hand on his shoulder* "No. No matter how many times Little Cato gets put in danger, we will always be there to save him. We made a promise to be his dads."
Avocato - *smiles* "Yeah."
Then they heard a weird moaning sound. But it more like a painful moan.
Gary - "I think somebody got hurt."
Avocato - "We better go check it out."
Gary and Avocato began to follow the noise of the painful moan. After 10 minutes, their eyes widened in horror: It was Ash and Fox in the nets looking on in pain.

Little Cato began to moan and wake up. He tried to get up but for some strange reason he couldn't. After his vision cleared up, Little Cato saw that was strapped on a table
Little Cato - *dazed* "W-wha? Where am I?"
Little Cato looked around and saw that he was in a dimly light room. He saw on the shelves it was full with jars full of organs, plants, and other weird things. Not feeling comfortable, Little Cato tried to free himself but couldn't.
Little Cato - *frustrated and confused* "What the hell is happening?!"
"You're right where we want you, boy."
Little Cato saw two alien hunters. They both look at Little Cato menacingly. Not wanting to show fear, Little Cato put a serious look on his face.
Little Cato - *mad* "Who the hell are you guys?!"
Alien - "I'm Klondo."
Alien - "And I'm Alan."
Little Cato - *mad* "Where Trina?! What have you done to her!"
Alan - "Who? The Wizardian girl? She's fine...For now!"
Little Cato - *angry* "Where is she?!"
Klondo - *mockingly* "Aw the little kitty boy is worried about his girlfriend."
Little Cato - *angry and embarrassed* "For the last time, she's not my girlfriend! Now let us go or else!"
Alan - *threateningly* "Or else what?"
Klondo - "He can't do anything with these straps on."
Little Cato struggles to break free. Both Klondo and Alan began to laugh at Little Cato. It just made Little Cato even more angry and tried harder to be free.
Alan - "Keep trying, runt! You'll never get free."
Kondo - "Besides, we need you for a special reason!"
Alan - "We couldn't help but notice you're a cat and they are considered very rare on this planet."
Little Cato - *annoyed* "I am not a cat!"
Alan - *sarcastic* "Right. And I'm not an alien I'm a pink magical unicorn."
Klondo - "The Wizardian human hybrids are considered extra rare!"
Little Cato - "You better not hurt her!"
Alan - "We are not going to do anything except take her blood and organs and sell them off to people. Same thing to you!"
Little Cato - *horrified* "What?! No! I won't let you do that!"
Klondo - Oh relax it not bad...It WAY worse!
They both laugh and leave the room with Little Cato all alone. Despite feeling scared for not only what those aliens want to do to him, but what they want to do to Trina. But he just really hopes Gary, Avocato, Ash and Fox come find them.

Gary and Avocato managed to free Ash and Fox from the net. Luckily, they just had minor cuts and bruises but they were still unconscious. Gary and Avocato decide to wait for them to wake up hoping they know what happened to Little Cato and Trina.
After 20 minutes later, Ash and Fox began to slowly open their eyes. But then Ash's eye shot wide open and said:
Ash - "LITTLE CATO! TRINA!
Her powers began to shoot out her hands. Gary and Avocato jumped out of the way and dodge the dark power. Luckily; Ash only hit a few trees and rocks. Fox seeing his sister in rage mode began to say:
Fox - "Ashy remember what I said: Think like a butterfly, think like a plant, and calm down or you will go down in flames!"
Hearing those words, Ash began to stop and calm down. Her powers stop and she began to breath in and out.
Ash - *calming down* "Thanks Fox."
Gary - "So uh? Is that a calming technique?"
Ash - "Yeah. It helps me when I get too emotional."
Avocato - "Ash, Fox, what happened? Do you remember anything?"
Fox - "Well we remember Trina managed to control boiling water."
Ash - "And I remember seeing these men."
Gary - "Men? What men?"
Ash - "They were red. And they shot darts at Trina and Little Cato."
Fox - "We were about to fight back but then they threw the net at us. *wince in pain* And I think it messes with one of the chips installed in me. But everything else no."
Gary - "Well we gotta find these red men! But how?"
Avocato - "I got something."
They all went where Avocato was standing. They all saw on the ground not only it had footprints, but it had Trina's bandana.
Avocato - "This is Trina's."
Gary - "But no Trina...This really weird like not the cool kind of weird but the "something bad is happening weird."
Then Gary sees one of Little Cato's hair on the ground. He picked it up and said:
Gary - "Avocato look!"
Avocato's eyes widened in shock. Then he had an angry look on his face.
Avocato - "Those red bastards kidnap the kids!
Fox - "What do we do?!"
Avocato - *serious* "Simple: we find them and whoever kidnapped them we slice their head off."
Gary - "Right. And shove their disfigured heads up their ass!"
Avocato - "Yep!"
Gary and the others saw more of the footprints and began to run to see if they found the kids anywhere. Then they saw the footprints stop at a huge bush. Avocato moved the bushes and saw a guarded place with men who have guns and taking in boxes by random aliens. Gary, Fox and Ash poked their heads out and saw this.
Gary - *confused* "Who are those creeps?"
Avocato - "I don't know but they're definitely not friendly. Look like there a side of the planet we didn't knew
Gary - "Well friendly or not my gut feeling telling me that the kids are in there! My gut is never wrong about anything! Well except for a few things like eating raw meat or sleeping with my eyes open but still!"
Avocato: So how do we get in?
Gary: You got me. How about we- "
Ash began to use her powers and blasted a hole in the wall. It was big enough for all of them to get inside.
Avocato - *surprised* "Well there's that way
Gary - "God! You are so awesome Ash!"
Ash smiles and they go inside. They made sure they were quiet enough so nobody can see them.
Avocato - "Hang tight kids! We're on our way!"

Little Cato was struggling to come off the table. It been going on like this for almost a half an hour. Then Klondo and Alan came inside and got some tools in their hands. They both began to laugh as Little Cato was still struggling.
Little Cato - *angry* "Let me go!"
Alan - *smug* "Give it up, brat! No one is gonna help you now
Little Cato saw that Alan put down a box on a table. Then he got a scalpel.
Alan - "Besides it's harvest time!"
Little Cato - *terrified* "No! No! No! No! HELP!"
Alan - *mockingly* "Aw ya scared? Well maybe this can make this more fun!"
Alan moves the scalpel close to Little Cato's stomach. Little Cato was panting in fear and closed his eyes getting ready for the pain. Just before Alan can make a cut on Little Cato, the door burst open and it Avocato, Gary, Fox and Ash.
Avocato - "Little Cato!"
Little Cato - "DAD!"
Alan - *confused* "Who are you?!"
Gary - *bravely* "We are the awesome guys who kick your ass!"
Then a big shootout began. Fox used his gun and shot Alan in the arm. The pain made Alan push against the wall. Then Avocato ran to his son and began to break the straps.
Avocato - "Hang on, son!"
As soon as the straps were off, Little Cato jumped into his dad's arms. Avocato noticed how tightly his son was hugging him. But Avocato hugged back because he knew how scared his son was.
Avocato - *comforting his son* "It's okay son I'm here."
Gary - "Spider Cat? Where's Lady Magic?"
Little Cato - "In another room! We have to hurry!"
They began to run while shooting people.
As they were running, Ash began to hear muffled sound. It sounded like if they had trouble talking and breathing.
Ash - "Guys! I hear Trina! I think she's in the room on the left side."
They turned left and saw a door with a glass window on it. Through the window, they saw that Trina was chained to a wall and her mouth was gagged with a bandana and her eyes were covered by a blindfold.
Gary - *horrified* "Oh my God!"
Fox - *horrified* "Uh…I don't think those are regular chains."
Trina was moaning but she was moaning in pain. Gary and the others realize that Fox was right because those weren't regular chains Trina was tied up in. The chains were glowing red and they saw a machine connected to the chains, and the chains was taking Trina's blood and her blood was going into tubes, then the machine.
Little Cato - "We need to get her out! Now!"
Avocato - "We have to be careful or we'll hurt her."
Gary - *smug* "Don't worry guys I got this!"
He began to shoot the door hundred of times. After it was burnt to a crisp, Gary stood back, ran and kicked it down. Gary and the others quickly ran inside the room.
Gary - "And that's how you do it! Gary's style!"
Avocato - "Good job buddy!"
Little Cato - "But how do we get her down?"
Fox - "We can shoot the chains!"
Ash - "But What about the tubes in her arms? We don't want her to bleed out."
Little Cato - "I got an idea. It's pretty bold and simple."
Little Cato pointed to the machine and there was an off switch.
Gary - *deadpanned* "Oh. Wow. Can't believe it was that simple."
Avocato quickly turns off the machine. The machine was now off and it stop taking Trina's blood. Gary and Fox shoot the chains while little Cato catches Trina before she fell on the ground. Little Cato took off the blindfold and gag and Trina began to cough a little.
Little Cato - *concerned* "You, okay?"
Trina looked weak from the blood they took out of her. She sat up a little and said:
Trina - *weakly* "Y-Yeah…"
Gary - *comforting* "Don't worry...We will get you out of there"
Gary noticed Trina looked drained out from her blood being taken. He took off his jacket and he use it to cover up Trina and carries her out with Avocato and Little Cato following behind him.
Trina - "Ooh…"
Little Cato - "Hang in there Trina!"
Then they heard some shooting noises. They quickly dodge them and hide in the corners.
Gary - "What the hell was that?!"
They saw some guard shooting at them. Some of the guards had giant guns and it was stronger.
Avocato - "Get Down!"
They take cover except for Ash. She couldn't stand her friends and brother getting hurt. Ash felt a bubbling anger forming inside of her. Her powers were getting active and even stronger.
Gary - "Get down!"
Fox - "Ash quick!"
Ash began to fly up in the and charges up her powers.
Ash - "Leave my friends alone!"
She unleashes a powerful blast on the guards. The guards were quickly dead and the guns turned into ashes. Everybody was amazed at what Ash did.
Little Cato - *amazed* "Wow that was a cake baked into something totally badass and kickass at the same time."
Gary - "My thoughts exactly, Spider Cat! That was freakin awesome!"
Avocato - "Come on we gotta go to the ship now."
Guys - "Right!"
They managed to escape the place and head back to the ship. Once there, they take Trina to the infirmary. She was resting in one of the healing pods. Little Cato looked at her with concerned.
Little Cato - *worried* "Is she going to be, okay?"
AVA - "She lost a bit of blood but she should be able to recover."
Little Cato - *disgusted* "I can't believe those assholes wanted to sell us like we were some kinds of freaky charity."
Ash - "What did they do to you?"
Little Cato - "They were gonna cut us up and sell us like cheap fabric. We were apparently considered really rare.
Fox - "Why's that?"
Little Cato - "I don't know. I guess they have never seen anything like us or Trina."
Avocato - "I see. They were some kind of bounty hunters."
Gary - "They will hunt for everything."
Trina starts to moan until she opens her eyes. She saw Gary, Fox, Ash, Avocato and Little Cato around her pod.
Little Cato - "She's awake!"
Gary - "How are you feeling Lady Magic?"
Trina - *weakly* "Like I was hit by a garbage truck..."
Avocato - "Don't worry you are safe now."
Trina - "What happened?"
Fox - "You don't remember anything?"
Trina - "Just remembering how I managed to use my powers for something and that's it."
Gary - "Well after that some hillbilly aliens captured you and Little Cato and wanted to sell you off."
Ash - "They even wanted your blood."
Trina - "Damn…"
Gary - "But don't worry, those buttheads won't ever bother you or Spider Cat ever again."
Trina - *nodding* "Mmm...That's great."
Avocato - "You just rest, Trina. We'll check on you later."
Trina - "Okay...Thank you."
Gary pats the glass and they leave the room except for Little Cato.
Little Cato - "I think I'll stay here and watch over Trina."
Gary - *proudly* "Yep. Since that what men do: always stay and keep an eye out for their special lady."
Little Cato - *blushing* "She's not my girlfriend!"
Avocato - *sternly* "Now Gary, leaves him alone. He's had enough for one day.
Gary - *annoyed* "Alright, fine."
Avocato smiles and ruffles his son's hair before leaving the room. Little Cato went to Trina and sat next to her on a chair.
Little Cato - "So uhh...How are you feeling?"
Trina - *shrugs* "Tired."
Little Cato - "At least they didn't take all your blood."
Trina - "Yeah. But it wasn't pleasant either. I'm just glad they didn't skin you."
Little Cato - "Yeah no kidding."
Trina - "Hey...Thank you for helping me with my powers."
Little Cato - "Oh! Anytime. Since I am the master of training."
Trina - *chuckles* "You are also the master of gloating."
Little Cato - *annoyed* "Hey! How else are people supposed to know how awesome I am?"
