Chapter 14: Preparing for Battle

In an unknown location, Stain was looking at himself in the mirror. He was thinking about a job that he was recently given.

Flashback

"You want me to what?" Stain asked.

"That's right," the boss said, "Turns out that target you went after has an offspring. If he's still alive he could use his quirk to heal those who were injured. And I can't have that blemish interfering with my business. So I want you to find the boy and kill him."

"I..."

"Need I remind you who's in charge. Think about what you're doing. And WHO you're doing it for."

Flashback over

Stain couldn't take it anymore. He punched the mirror. His wife walked into the room showing concern.

"Is everything ok?" she asked, "Chizome?"

She peeked in and saw he was bleeding. She ran up to him and bandaged his arm up.

"I'm sorry... I'll find you a new mirror," he said.

"Forget about that, look at your hand!" Kari said, "What happened?"

"...the boss... he's ordering me to kill a child."

Kari gasped at this. Hunting down heroes was one thing but killing children was too far.

"I can't go through with it," Stain said, "I'm a monster."

Kari hugged him.

"When we first met, you told me who you were," she said to him, "You trusted me then and I trusted you, and I still trust you. Now you need to trust yourself that you'll do the right thing."

Stain knew what he had to do. He went to the police station under disguise. He went to the chief of police.

"Can I help you?" he asked.

"I have some information you'll want to know," Stain said disguising his voice, "Its from the Hero Killer. He's planning to stop a criminal organization."

"We'll look into it," the officer said, "Thank you for this tidbit."

Back at U.A, it was the day for parents to visit their kids. Izuku was currently getting crushed by his mom in a tight hug.

"Oh baby boy!" she said while crying.

As Izuku was getting a bear hug by his Mother, Izuku was having a hard time breathing. She soon let go of Izuku and noticed Eri by his side.

"Oh... my GOODNESS!" You're just the cutest thing ever!" Inko said.

"Thank you miss," Eri said as she held onto Izuku's leg, "Papa who is she?"

"Well Eri, this is my mother, Inko Midoriya," Izuku said, "In this case, this would make her your grandma."

"That's right," Inko said with a smile.

"What's a grandma?" Eri asked.

"A Grandma is one of your parents' mothers." Izuku noted.

"Don't you have a daddy?" Eri asked.

"He isn't around," Izuku said, "Its just been me and my mom for years, but we got along by. But now I got All Might who's gonna be my step dad. He trained me to get my quirk, and fell in love with my mom and soon they're gonna be united through marriage."

"What's marriage? Is it some kind of food?" Eri asked.

Izuku chuckled at this.

"Oh no, Eri. Marriage is a ceremony for two people who have loved each other for a long time and binds two people to be family." Izuku explained.

"So if Inko is your grandma, then who's grandpa?" Mitsuki asked.

All Might then walked in the room to check on Eri.

"I am-"

"Grandpa Might!" Eri exclaimed as she pointed at him

"Ehhh... what?" All Might asked.

Mitsuki fell to the floor laughing.

Ochako saw Eri getting along with her 'grandmother' as she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see Kurumi and Maruki.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Ochako said as she hugged them.

"Alright, where's our grandbaby?" Kurumi asked.

Eri looked to Ochako and saw her mom by her side.

"Mama looks just like her mommy," Eri said.

"I know, let's go say hi," he told her.

He picked her up and brought her over to the Urarakas, with Inko following.

"Hello there," MAruki said, "You must be Eri."

"Mama is really sweet, nice, and brave," Eri said.

"Yes, just like her mama," Maruki said as he smiled at his wife.

"So if you're Mama's mommy and daddy, does that mean... you're my Nanny and Pop-pop?" Eri asked.

"Yes," Kurumi said with a bright smile, "We're your nanny and pop pop."

Eri reached over to Kurumi wanting to be held by her. Kurumi held her close and rubbed her cheek against Eri's.

"Hahahaha!"

All Might saw Eri getting along with her new grandparents. He turned to Izuku with a smile.

"I'm happy for you young Midoriya," he said, "You've got yourself a nice little family."

Izuku looked at All Might and stated, "Pretty soon I'll have a lot more than that…. Dad."

The next day, Izuku went out on patrol, looking for crimes around the perameter, as far as his work study assignment. There were a few small crimes he had to deal with. He then saw a shadowy figure. The figure started to run. Izuku chased after him using Full Cowling.

After a few minutes of chasing he finally cornered the man. He came out of the shadows revealing himself.

"Stain," Izuku said.

"I'm not here to fight you," he said, "And even if I was, I wouldn't go through with it."

Izuku was surprised by this.

"Why not?"

"Because I have respect for you. You're a true hero in the making."

"I'm flattered but I still need to know what you're up to." Izuku told him.

"You've heard the stories that I killed heroes right?" Stain asked, "Well, those rumours are exagerrated."

"Go on," Izuku said.

The two of them heard more footsteps. They turned to see Iida.

"Get away from him!" Iida said.

He lunged at Stain throwing a kick his way. Stain quickly dodged out of the way.

"What do you want from me?" he asked.

"Remember Tensei Iida?" Iida asked, "The pro hero Ingenium, whose hero career you ended in cold blood?"

"What about him?"

"He was a hero who stood for truth and justice, and you took all of that away from him!" Iida said.

"The hell does it matter to you anyway?!" Stain asked.

"Everything!" Iida said, "You ended his career, so now I'll end yours!"

He lunged at Stain, however he was stopped. Izuku got in the way and prevented him from going any further.

"Iida stop, its not worth it!" Izuku said.

"But he-"

"Trust me Iida, he said he wasn't here to fight! The least we can do is hear him out."

After a few minutes, Iida started to calm down. Everyone took some deep breaths.

"Continue…" Izuku said.

"This organization is lead by some mysterious man who even I haven't seen, and he's offering me cash to complete his tasks, but I never agreed to kill. Now I want to shut down the organization in Hosu, and I may need your help to do so."

"Well then we'll get a team together, go to Hosu and shut it down together," Izuku told him.

"Wait... that's it, you believe me?"

"I don't need to believe you. But I know you're not lying." Izuku said.

"How?" Stain asked.

"Let's just say I have my ways," Izuku said, "But there is one thing I wanna know. Who is it that's been giving you all these jobs?"

Stain thought for a moment. He knew Izuku could be trusted with the information.

"It was…"

Back at U.A, Melissa was showing David around the Support Course lab via video chat.

"And this is where I come up with ideas for support gear for Midoriya's quirk," she said, "I'm planning something for his fire and telekinetic quirks. Its really rare for him to have so many quirks."

"That's amazing," David said, "You'll definitely outshine me one day."

Melissa noticed some pieces of dusty paper on David's desk.

"Papa, what is that?" she asked.

"Oh this…. Its nothing," David said.

"Papa," Melisssa said sternly.

David knew he couldn't lie to his only daughter.

"It was paperwork for a device."

"A support item?"

"Not just a support item. A support item for quirks. Not for certain quirks, for all quirks. It was a device that can amplify an individual's quirk. But unlike drugs this device doesn't mess with the brain or affect the body."

Melissa was surprised that her father would create something like this.

"However when people heard about it, they were stricken with fear believing a device that powerful could spell catastrophe if given to the wrong hands, and so they ordered the project to be shut down, yet I still kept my notes," David said, "I was planning to make something in secret, for All Might to help him gain his strength back. But then… I saw your friend Izuku and I realized, the world is in safe hands."

Melissa smiled.

"Well I'm glad you aren't working on something that dangerous Papa, and you don't need to worry about Uncle Might," she said, "If he retires, someone else will take his place."

"Well I can rest easy knowing that, and also that the device is safe and sound."

In an unknown location, someone was walking into a highly secured area. He saw a door, and had blades come out of his hands, then cut the door into pieces walking in. The man took off his mask, revealing himself to be Hisashi. In addition to his multiple quirks he received, he also was given a suit to control these abilities.

Flashback

"So when you get the device, what will you do?" asked a voice, "Will you kill All Might."

"I will not only kill All Might, but I will obliterate his entire legacy," Hisashi said, "When I'm done it will be as if All Might never existed!"

"If you are successful in killing All Might, and his successor, you will be rewarded handsomely."

"Killing them is my reward. But you needn't worry, as what you asked for will be received….. All For One…."

Someone was watching Hisashi infiltrate the area, and pressed an alarm.

"Open the gates and get security in here!"

Officers and soldiers left and right were gathering up. Hisashi stopped and saw multiple men gathered up to try and stop him. He also saw a target by his feet.

"OPEN FIRE!"

The men started firing their guns and weapons. After a couple of seconds, they stopped.

"That was merely a taste of our firepower," the chief of police said, "Consider yourself fortunate you weren't in the middle of it all. Take one more step, and we will fire again. Do you yield?"

Hisashi looked at all the men. He then chuckled and smiled evilly.

"I do not."

He then slammed his hand on the ground, disassembled the concrete, and sank the chief and his men into the ground. Hisashi then reassembled the ground, trapping all of them inside. With nobody in his way, Hisashi made his way to the vault. He then unleashed a giant wave of fire, burning down the security.

Hisashi walked inside and saw some kind of helmet looking device. It was the device that could enhance quirks. Hisashi raised the device up triumphantly.

"I finally found it," he said in a victorious tone, "Now WHO'S GONNA STOP ME?!"
