Dragon King of the West and I are working on a super crossover BNHA based on My Hero SCP by mtnetsurfer. You can check it out on his account if you wish.
I'm gonna try and be more original in this version. Though there will still be plenty of crossover elements.
Please enjoy this story and don't riff on me in the comments about this being like the 1000th redo, I get it, I swear I do, I don't need to be reminded of how much of a shit writer I am.
Izuku Midoriya was a young idealistic boy in a world where superpowers were the norm. 80% of humanity had developed bizarre abilities called 'Quirks' that defied logic and reason but soon eventually became an accepted part of life after a time of strife.
Thanks to this, people could fulfill their dreams of being Heroes but there were also people who took advantage of their gifts to become Villains and terrorize the populace for their own self-interests.
Despite things being taken straight out of comic books, Heroes were no different than rescue workers and police officers, they simply had a more colorful style to them and Izuku wished to become a Hero himself, like his beloved parents; Inko and Hisashi Midoriya also known as the Magnetic Heroine: Polaris and the Eternal Hero: Omni-Man.
Izuku was the youngest child of the family, having three older sisters; Tatsumaki, the oldest, developed a Quirk known as [Psychokinesis]. granting her telekinetic powers, Fubuki, the second-oldest, got the same Quirk as Tatsumaki, and Eve, the third oldest, gained the Quirk [Subatomic], which granted her the ability to manipulate subatomic particles.
Being the youngest, Izuku often found himself spoiled and doted on by his sisters, who tended to get overly protective of him. However, Izuku wished to become a strong and reliable Hero like the Symbol of Peace and the #1 Pro Hero of Japan himself; All-Might.
Then, on the eve of his 4th birthday, Izuku would finally be able to begin the destiny he had always dreamed of making for himself...and it all began with a bizarre dream.
As he tossed and turned in his All Might-themed bed, Izuku dreamed a dream like no other. In the dream, he saw men and women who could only be described as Gods.
The powers they wielded were much like Quirks but there was something...almost magical about them. There were people who could transform into and manipulate the elements, transform into fantastic beasts, and even shatter the very air itself with their fists.
When he woke up, he didn't think of anything except the dream he had. As he headed downstairs for breakfast, he was greeted with a pleasant surprise.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IZUKU!"
His whole family was there, having prepared his favorite meal; Katsudon, and had even set off party poppers. The little boy giggled as he was picked up by his dad.
"How's my little hero doing this morning?"
"Great, Daddy!"
Enveloped in a green glow, Izuku was pulled from his father and into the arms of his oldest sister, Tatsumaki, who was 12.
"Someone's a year closer to becoming a super-cool hero~!" The psychokinetic girl cooed as she nuzzled her baby brother's nose, making him whine childishly.
"Tatsu-Nee~!"
"Sis, let him go..." Fubuki, who was 8, giggled.
As the family got down for breakfast, Izuku felt he should tell them about the bizarre dream he had. The young lad was excited as he detailed everything he had seen in vivid detail.
"Wow, that's some dream. You think it has any meaning?" Eve, who was 7, asked.
"Well, we're doing something special...we're taking Izuku for his Quirk Test!" Inko beamed.
Naturally, Izuku got excited upon hearing this. He couldn't wait to hear what kind of Quirk he was going to get.
After getting his X-Ray scanned and a blood sample for analysis, Izuku and his family waited anxiously for the results. Soon, the doctor came out with the readings and looked absolutely floored at what he was seeing.
"So, what's the prognosis, Doctor?" Hisashi asked.
"Well, Mr. Midoriya, I dare say that your son's Quirk...well, I've never seen anything like it!" The doctor said as he showed the readings. "Here, take a look."
Hisashi looked through the readings and his eyes slowly widened as he showed them to Inko, who looked just as floored as her husband. This naturally got their children curious as they tried to peek at what they were looking at.
Soon, Izuku was allowed to see for himself and he gazed in awe. The readings detailed all the capacities of his Quirk and it was a MASSIVE file. It was like he had multiple Quirks at once!
Just a few examples of what he could do were creating and manipulating different poisons, creating a spherical space that he could use to manipulate space in a surgical fashion and even transforming into a Daibatsu (a giant golden buddha).
"Whoa...this is...uncanny!" Fubuki gasped.
"I bet Izu-Chan would be stronger than all of us combined when he grows up!" Tatsumaki said.
"Okay, that is cool," Eve commented.
As for Izuku, he was just bouncing in his seat. These were the same powers he saw in his dreams, he knew they gave him a good feeling and it seemed they prophesized his Quirk itself!
"Well, what say we celebrate this occasion? I know a great American Restaurant nearby!" Hisashi smiled as the kids all cheered in excitement.
A few days later, Izuku hadn't shown any powers that were listed with his Quirk, but he could feel it inside him all the same. He just needed the right trigger to properly let them out.
Sure enough, that trigger would come in the form of a hotheaded explosive blonde boy named Katsuki Bakugou. He was the son of Inko's best friend Mitsuki and ever since he had gotten his Quirk, which let him create explosions from his hands, his ego had started to become unbearable.
"Come on, Kaachan! You're being mean!" Izuku said, bravely defending a girl who was holding her arm and crying in pain.
"Shut up, Deku! We're teaching that Quirkless loser that she can't hope to be a Hero the way she is now!" Katsuki snapped back.
"Kaachan, you say you want to be a Hero, but you're only acting like a Villain! Heroes should never bully others!" Izuku said defiantly, glaring at his friend, who looked greatly pissed off at what he was told.
"DIE, DEKU!"
The blonde rushed at Izuku, who suddenly felt time slowing down as a scene played in his head of a man crossing his arms and fingers, creating a barrier to protect himself with. Mimicking the motions of the man, Izuku closed his eyes and felt his Quirk finally spring to life.
The explosion hit something, but it wasn't Izuku. Katsuki also found himself pushed back on his butt and looked up in shock as the dust cleared to reveal a tall clear rectangular barrier in front of Izuku.
"What the hell...?"
"Whoa..." The girl Izuku was defending whispered in awe.
Izuku soon felt the world around him stop and everything disappear, leaving an inky black void. He then felt the ground rumble underneath him before a massive tree erupted from the ground, its branches reaching the highest heavens as multiple different fruits fell down from it.
"Young Izuku Midoriya...you are the new bearer of a power from ages past...you will become a Devil of Righteousness who lives a free life and fights for the happiness of those he loves and defends the innocent...use this power responsibly and you will be...my champion."
Izuku blinked and he soon found himself back in the real world. Katsuki and the boys who were following him had run off and it was just him and the girl he had been protecting.
"Hey, are you okay? You blacked out for a whole five minutes."
Izuku shook his head and clapped his chubby freckled cheeks to psyche up his focus as he turned to the girl and offered his hand.
"Sorry about that. Are you okay?"
The girl blushed as she took Izuku's hand. She was the same age as him and had tanned skin, long black hair, and forest-green eyes.
"Yeah, I'm fine...thanks for taking care of those jerks. My dad says just because I'm Quirkless doesn't mean I should take garbage from guys like him."
Izuku smiled. "I'm Izuku Midoriya, what's your name?"
"Haruko Arashi. Pleasure to meet'cha, Izuku!"
On that day, Izuku made a new friend.
A year later, Izuku would get a new but just as welcome surprise waiting for him. He had invited Haruko over to his house to read comics together and they were just having a nice old time, especially since Inko and Hisashi had gotten off duty for the day.
A knock came at the door and Eve went over to answer it, looking shocked at who she saw waiting.
"Mom! Dad! You might wanna see this!"
Inko and Hisashi made their way over and both gasped at who they saw; He was an elderly man of relatively tall height with a very muscular build and tan skin. Two of his most distinguishing traits were his round glasses and facial hair, which was arranged embattled across his lower jaw. He also had a scar over his right eye and wore a plain t-shirt, shorts, sandals, and a large silver hooded cloak.
"P-Pops?!" Hisashi stammered.
"Hey 'Sashi, been a while. Have you been shaving?"
Izuku and Haruko went over to see who had surprised their parents and both their eyes widened at the old man. He was a legend amongst the Hero Community as one of the former Top 10 Heroes back in his prime and even now, he still had a commendable aura of wisdom and strength.
This was Silvers Rayleigh, also known as the Dark King of Heroes.
"W-What brings you here, Rayleigh-Sensei?" Inko asked, remembering her youth training under the living legend.
Rayleigh chuckled as he peered over his old student's shoulders to see Izuku and Haruko, who were both trying their hardest not to nerd out.
"Well, you know how my seemingly 'useless' Quirk as some smart-tongued punks have said allows me to sense potential in others?"
"Yeah, [Potential Sense], it allows you to sense and measure the potential other people have. You noted that Inko and I had pretty high levels when you took us on as interns back in high school."
Rayleigh chuckled. "Good memories, indeed. Anyway, I had just wanted to stop by and say 'hi', see how the married with kids life was treating you two...and wouldn't you know it when my Quirk goes absolutely haywire over two certain kids of yours."
"Well, Izuku is our son who just got his Quirk last year and Haruko is just the daughter of a family friend," Inko explained.
"She's Quirkless but she's not letting that slow her down. She wants to be a Hero just like our boy." Hisashi chuckled.
"Well, forgive an old man for this but the potential of those two...they were the source," Rayleigh said as he squatted down to meet the two 5-year-olds at eye level. "You young'uns wanna know what I'm talking about? It means you're both gonna become AMAZING Heroes...and I'm gonna help make sure you get there."
Izuku and Haruko both looked at each other before back at Rayleigh, excitement clear on their faces as Inko and Hisashi looked unsure but they trusted their former mentor to help look after their children's growth. After all, Rayleigh was one of the people who helped get them together in the first place.
"When do we start, Rayleigh-Oji?" Izuku asked.
Rayleigh chuckled, liking the boy's spunk. "Well, you're still a little too young to start training. Best to enjoy the springtimes of childhood because once you come of age, your parents and I are gonna whip you and your friend into the best Heroes yet!"
"Alright!" Haruko cheered, pumping her fist in the air, already looking forward to the future along with Izuku.
And this was only the beginning of Izuku's rise as the greatest hero the world had ever seen...
Yeah, I'm trying to be more original here. My collab story with Dragon King is gonna be the more 'My Hero SCP' centered story with all the crossovers and shenanigans. But I will still have some of my own takes on here.
Also, it won't just be My Hero Academia and One Piece being represented in this story. Other animes I have planned for representation/characters will include:
-Naruto
-Dragon Ball
-Fairy Tail
-Bleach
-JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
-One Punch Man
-Marvel Comics
-DC Universe
And those are just some examples of characters and ideas that will be incorporated into the My Hero Academia Universe. Look forward to what comes next and stay frosty, people!
