Worf eyed his opponent – a muscular, bald, black warrior with a golden tattoo on his forehead. The bald warrior picked up his staff from the ground; Worf reached over his shoulder to seize his Bat'leth.

When did I get this program? Worf questioned.

With practiced ease the opponent spun his staff; the sound of a weapon charging filled the air. Worf lunged forward, bringing the bat'leth high above his head. He brought it down; the clank of metal on metal rang through the holosuit from the blow of the blocking staff. Worf brought his bat'leth around to hit the warrior's leg and the warrior blocked that also. Falling into a rage after several unsuccessful attempts, Worf became less cautious. The opponent seemed un-phased when Worf swung the bat'leth, to slice off his head. With a twist of the staff, Worf found himself lying on the floor, the end of the staff on his neck, the sound of electricity sizzling in the air. As the man moved towards the handle to fire the weapon, Worf's com-badge chirped:

"Sisko to Commander Worf."

"Worf here."

"General Martok has arrived and he would like to see you."

"On my way sir."

Worf found it strange that the man helped him to his feet. He stepped towards the holosuit doors. Before leaving, Worf turned around. "Computer, save program." He then left and the doors closed behind him. The man stood there and removed an invisible helmet from his head.

Teal'c looked at all the scientists standing around him.

"Did it work?" one seemed anxious.

"It was, satisfactory. The opponent was not challenging enough." He stepped out of the chair and walked to the door.

As he walked down the hall, Jonas joined him. "What did you think of the program?"

"Jonas Quinn, I was wondering where you got the idea for such an opponent."

"It just came to me."

On a higher plane of existence…

Daniel turned to the man standing next to him. "Pay up Q. Teal'c beat your man fair and square."

"I suppose so." Q handed Daniel a bar of Naquadah. "I'm still surprised that Oma would decide a human was worthy to ascend."

Daniel looked the omnipotent being in the eye. "Same time next week?"

"I suppose so." Q turned to walk away.

Daniel looked at the Naquadah, "Now, to put this where Sam can find it."
