(A/N: Before you begin, I would like to apologise for the really long hiatus. I had been busy with other projects, returning to old roots, disability support groups coming and going and upcoming holidays. Anyway, please enjoy this and tell me what you think)
With the Helmet of Shadows in hand, the Rangers need to reach the Celestial Clock in time to prevent the final battle.
The Rangers and Misako slowly look at their surroundings as one Stone Warrior charged at Nya from behind, but Jay quickly turned and struck it with his Super Spinjitzu Blade, making it fall apart as two more come from his left, but Kai quickly struck them both with his own. "The gate's just right there." Cole said, striking a Stone Warrior down himself. "But there are too many of them!"
"We have to try!" Zane replied as he ducked down to avoid a punch from a Stone Warrior before grabbing hold of it and pulls it to Wu, who kicks it down.
"Junior, try your armour." He said. "It should have enough power, alongside the Super Spinjitzu Rifle, to take them down."
"Got it, Master." LJ replied, getting out the Spinjitzu Crystal and raises it high into the sky. "Gyani Armour, activate!"
The crystal lets off glowing sparks of energy before they move down to the front, forming into the Gyani Armour before it starts to come apart. The blaster arms come onto his arms and the armour attaches to his gold one before it shines and fades, revealing more armour pieces around him before he then poised. "Golden Spinjitzu Rifle."
At the Destiny's Bounty, the door to the bridge breaks apart as the Golden Spinjitzu Rifle flies out of it. At the camp, LJ holds out his left hand to catch it before aiming it and the Gyani Cannon. "Get down!" They quickly duck down as LJ soon spun around, firing the cannon and rifle at the Stone Warriors, taking them all down. The others get back up to look at the incapacitated warriors before looking back at LJ. "Come on!" They start to take off, passing through the damaged gate as some Stone Warriors simply look on.
"Don't just stand there!" Lloyd yelled, coming up. "Get them!" The warriors take off the pursue the Rangers.
As he looked at the damaged gate while growling, the Overlord comes over to him. "You fool!" He yelled. "You let them get away with the helmet? Don't you realize if they put it back on the clock, the time will cease once more?"
"I'll see to it personally. Is that new gift ready yet?"
"It is. This is your final chance. Don't blow it!"
Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Nya, LJ, Wu and Misako run along the jungle before they jump into some trees and look down to see the Stone Warriors stopping ahead of them. "They must be around somewhere." One of them said. "Spread out!" They immediately split up and run off in different directions.
With them completely gone, the Rangers and Misako drop down before the Rangers demorph and look at the Helmet of Shadows in Cole's hands. "We finally got the helmet back." He said.
Jay soon took it. "I wonder if it'll make me look more menacing." He replied before he prepares to put it on.
Before he had to chance, Zane slaps it out of his hand. "Is that really wise?" He asked.
"Zane's right." Kai said. "If that helmet makes you evil, we'll destroy you."
"Uh, it's probably got Garmadon cooties anyway." Jay replied.
"Not to mention a little Dark Matter inside it." LJ replied, picking it up.
"All that matters is that we have the helmet." Wu said. "And we must return it to the Celestial Clock in order to stop it from counting down again."
"How long do we think we have, by the way?" Jay asked.
Misako looks at her watch. "Approximately 15 hours and 25 minutes." She replied.
"Then we must make haste." Wu said.
They prepare to start moving, but Kai stayed where he was, and they all notice. "Kai, what is it?" Zane asked.
"We still have a little time." He replied. "So, a confession first, sis." She was immediately confused at what her brother said. "What did Lloyd mean by 'little secret', Nya?" She looked down a bit before Kai turned to Jay. "How about you? Do you know?"
"Uh, well..." He stuttered a little. "...the thing is-"
"I'm pregnant." Nya cuts him off.
Zane, Cole, LJ, Wu and Misako were all completely surprised before Kai turned to Jay, in anger, grabs hold of him and moves his back towards a tree. "Why?" He asked. "Why would you do that to my sister?"
"I... I... I... didn't know she was pregnant until she told me." He replied, stuttering a little. "It must've happened when I lost my biological father, and she was there to comfort me."
"In that way?"
"Kai, that's enough!" LJ said, coming over to them while passing the helmet to Wu.
"Stay out of this, Junior!"
"No, I will not stay out of this!" He makes Kai let go of Jay and grabs hold of him. "Right now, we have to stop the Celestial Clock from counting down. You can do this once it's over. Besides, we're not just friends. We're family. And family shouldn't fight each other. So, get a grip." He lets go of him and moves back as Kai frowned a little before turning back to Jay.
"Jay, I'm sorry. It's just that... it is a big shock to me."
"Don't worry about it." Jay said. "But, Kai, don't you know what it means for you?"
"Yes, I know. I'm gonna be an uncle."
"We all are." Cole said, coming up to him. "But for now, we must hurry."
They start to move, only for something to land in front of them, knocking down some trees in its path. They all look up to see that it was Lloyd, in some kind of Zord, holding a sword.
Inside it was Lloyd, along with some Stone Warriors. "Rangers, say hello to my own Zord." He said. "The Garma-Zord!" He cackles before a Stone Warrior pulls a nearby lever.
Outside, the Garma-Zord raises its sword high to try and strike them, but they quickly jump aside in different directions as the strike hits a few trees before hitting the ground.
As they moved aside, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Nya, LJ and Wu immediately touch their Spinjitzu Watches to morph into Ranger form before stopping to stand up and look up at the Garma-Zord. "Great, now he has a Zord?" Kai asked.
The Garma-Zord struggles to pull the sword from the ground before eventually managing to do so. "This is going to complicate things." Zane replied.
"If we do not return the helmet before the clock strikes zero, we won't be able to prevent the final battle!" Misako said.
"You get the helmet back to the Celestial Clock." Wu said, handing the helmet to Zane. "I will pilot the Spinjitzu Ultrazord to fight my brother."
"And I'll back you up with the Destiny's Megazord."
"Are you two sure about this?" LJ asked.
"We'll hold him off as best as we can." Wu replied. "Just get the helmet to the clock."
LJ gets out the Spinjitzu Crystal. "Okay, take this, it'll combine the Zords for the Spinjitzu Ultrazord."
Wu takes it. "Appreciate it. Now go!"
Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Nya and LJ quickly take off as the Garma-Zord turns to them.
Inside, Lloyd sees them leave. "Where do you think you're going!?" He asked as a Stone Warrior pulls back another lever.
Outside, the Garma-Zord raises its sword again to strike, but the six Rangers were too far into the jungle for him to make a hit and struck some more trees. Wu presses his Spinjitzu Watch. "Destiny's Bounty, Megazord Mode!"
At the beach, the Bounty's thrusters move to the sides before moving down and hands come out while the ship moved downward, the bowel section moves forward and splits into two, making them look like legs, and the stern section rises, revealing its face, completing the Destiny's Megazord before it poised. In the jungle, Wu presses his Spinjitzu Watch to teleport Misako into the Destiny's Megazord.
Inside, Misako turns the helm a little. "Bring it on, Lloyd." She stops turning it.
Outside, Wu raised the Spinjitzu Crystal high. "Spinjitzu Ultrazord, combine!"
The 7 Zords move in a straight line before the Maroon Phoenix Zord and Soaring Falcon Zord move further ahead, rise up, put their wings together and turn to their respective side with their backs facing each other. The Red Lion Zord moves in front of the two before rising up and the front paws retract, revealing hands while two flying Zords immediately attach to its back and the head moves back to act as a clip. The Emerald Dragon Zord's wings and tails soon come off while the main body attaches to the Lion Zord and the wings connect to the Lion Zord's feet while the tail comes on behind the two flying Zords. The Black Bear Zord and White Tiger Zord retract their legs into and come onto the Lion Zord's hands respectively. The Blue Octopus Zord straightens its tentacles before landing on top of the Dragon Zord's head, connect its tentacles to it and the Lion Zord's arms to act like shoulder pads and opened its mouth, revealing its face before poising.
In the Garma-Zord, Lloyd was unamused at the sight of his two rivals. "Whether it is two against one or ten Megazords, I will still destroy you." He said before pressing some buttons as the Stone Warriors move some levers.
Outside, the Garma-Zord approaches the Spinjitzu Ultrazord and Destiny's Megazord before raising its sword to strike.
Inside the Destiny's Megazord, Misako pulls one of the levers. "Oh no, you don't."
Outside, the anchor comes out the Destiny's Megazord before it raises it to block and force the Garma-Zord's sword out of its hand.
Inside, Lloyd glares at the Megazord. "You won't get away from me again, Misako!"
Inside the Destiny's Megazord, Misako smirks, having known he was gonna say it. "I won't." She moves a lever forward.
Outside, the Destiny's Megazord swings its left arm to strike the Garma-Zord, which simply caught it before forcing it back. The Megazord spun as a result before the Ultrazord passes by it and prepares to punch the Garma-Zord, only for it to duck down and force it back before turning to the Destiny's Megazord as it was recovering.
Inside the Garma-Zord, Lloyd and the Stone Warriors press a few buttons. "I would call that a dirty tactic."
Outside, the Garma-Zord rises up before moving to punch the Destiny's Megazord, which moved back as a result.
Inside, Misako moved from the shaking before looking forward. "Take this!" She presses a button.
Outside, the Megazord swung the Anchor Flail at the Garma-Zord, only for it to move aside at the last minute before grabbing the chain and swung it at the Megazord, wrapping it around it and trapping it in its own weapon.
Inside the cockpit, alarms went off as Misako looked at the monitor. "Oh no, I'm trapped by my own weapon." She looked forward to see the Garma-Zord raise a leg.
Outside, the Garma-Zord kicks the Destiny's Megazord down before moving back as the Spinjitzu Ultrazord comes up behind it.
Inside the Garma-Zord, Lloyd smirks. "Big mistake, Wu." A Stone Warrior pulls a lever.
Outside, the Garma-Zord turns around and strikes the Ultrazord.
In the Spinjitzu Ultrazord, Wu groans from the shaking caused by the strike. "I'll give you that one, twin brother." He said before pressing a button.
Outside, the Ultrazord raises a leg to kick the Garma-Zord back as the Destiny's Megazord, having managed to free itself from its own weapon, came up behind it and grabs hold of it.
In the Megazord's cockpit, Misako struggles to keep the controls to have it keep the Garma-Zord in its grip. "Wu, now!" She yelled.
In the Spinjitzu's Ultrazord's cockpit, Wu nods before pressing a few buttons. "Ultrazord Blade, unleash!"
Outside, the Ultrazord pulls out the Ultrazord Blade and holds it out.
In the cockpit, Wu raises his arms. "Ultrazord Blade, final strike!" He then lowered his arms.
Outside, the Ultrazord raises its arms before swinging down towards the Garma-Zord. Unfortunately, the Garma-Zord swiftly moves aside, allowing the strike to hit the Destiny's Megazord, the attack coming clean across it.
Inside, Misako yelps as sparks were in the cockpit, followed by alarms, as she checked the report. "It's too damaged!" She then notices the Garma-Zord. "Oh no!"
Outside, the Garma-Zord grabs hold of the Anchor Flail before pulling on it with enough force to break the chain connecting it to the Destiny's Megazord before turning to swing the flail as it approaches the Ultrazord while the Destiny's Megazord falls back.
Further down the jungle, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Nya and LJ hear the crashing and turn to see the Megazord go down. "Mom!" LJ said before taking off with the others moving to catch up with him.
Back by the wreckage, Misako climbs out of it before looking up to see the Garma-Zord approaching the Ultrazord. "Get it, Wu."
Inside the Garma-Zord, Lloyd smirks before turning to a nearby Stone Warrior. "Time to reel in a big Ultrazord." He said before the warrior presses some buttons.
Outside, the Garma-Zord swings the Anchor Flail before tossing it towards the Spinjitzu Ultrazord as it raises its right arm before the anchor and chain soon wrapped around it.
Inside the Ultrazord, Wu looks at the stats. "Disengage arm!" He said, pressing a button.
Outside, the Spinjitzu Ultrazord detaches its right arm with the Ultrazord Blade still in it, which brings the Anchor Flail along.
In the Garma-Zord, Lloyd chuckles. "Nice try, twin." He sarcastically said.
Outside, the Garma-Zord raises its arm with the Anchor Flail to swing it before lowering it to wrap around the Spinjitzu Ultrazord to trap it and swung its sword, striking the head clean off, then swung it back at the legs, severing them in half.
In the Spinjitzu Ultrazord, Wu falls to the side as a result of the attacks before the power goes out.
In the Garma-Zord, Lloyd chuckles at the sight of the severed Ultrazord. "A spinning defeat."
Outside, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Nya and LJ come up to the Ultrazord wreckage, where Misako helps Wu out before they spot them. "Rangers!" Misako said.
"Mom, Uncle Wu, you okay?" LJ asked as they stop by them.
"We are, but I wouldn't say a thing for the Zords." Wu replied.
"They're all trashed." Misako said. "So we have no way off the island."
"I'm sure we'll find some vehicles once we have halted the final battle." Zane replied. "For now we must reach the Celestial Clock."
"Of course." Wu said. "Let's go." They start to take off.
Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Nya, LJ, Wu and Misako kept running until they manage to emerge from the jungle and see the Celestial Clock. "We made it." Nya said.
"And with 12 hours to spare." Jay replied.
"12 hours?" The Overlord was heard as they look around to see him hovering around. "Why not make it quarter an hour?" He flies towards the clock, which started to speed up, until it reached 15 minutes.
"Oh, come on!" Kai yelled. "That's cheating!"
"How about another cheat?" Lloyd was heard as they turn see the Garma-Zord approaching them.
"We need to get the helmet back to the clock, no matter what!" Wu yelled.
"I'll create a path of ice, but I need time!" Zane replied, holding out his Super Spinjitzu Blade to fire a trail of ice which started to spread. "Nya, help me out!"
"I'm on it." She said, getting out her Super Spinjitzu Blade to fire a flow of water for the ice to freeze and make a path.
"Don't worry!" Jay said, getting out his Super Spinjitzu Blade. "I'm on top of it!" He runs at the Garma-Zord before jumping into the air before reaching the head, only for it to strike Jay with its sword, sending him flying into the air. He then starts to fall, only for the Garma-Zord to grab hold of him and throws him down at the Rangers and Misako. "Ok, maybe not!"
"Didn't his momma ever teach him the bigger they are, the harder they fall?" Cole asked, getting out his Super Spinjitzu Blade.
Inside the Garma-Zord, Lloyd laughs at the remark.
Outside, Cole raises his Super Spinjitzu Blade High, and rocks and stones start to come at the Garma-Zord, only for it to raises its sword to block them, as well as cut some in half. "Oh, apparently, she did."
Kai quickly gets out his Super Spinjitzu Blade. "Hate to do this, but it's for a diversion." He said before holding it out to the trees and fires a burst of flames at them. The fire starts to slowly burn the trees, until they soon caught fire themselves and spread to a few trees with the flames surrounding the Garma-Zord.
Inside, sparks flew as Lloyd flinched to avoid them. "Curse you, Red Ranger!" He said.
Outside, the Garma-Zord moves about to try and take out the flames. "That ought to hold him off for a while."
"Zane, Nya, you guys almost done!" LJ asked.
"We're almost there!" Nya replied.
"No time, we need to hurry! Only 12 minutes left." They immediately start to run across the icy bridge while Zane and Nya kept firing flows of their power to keep it from melting as well as extend the path.
The Garma-Zord keeps moving around, trying to get out of the flames, until it suddenly emits some steam, and the fires go out before bending its knees.
Inside, Lloyd growled as he pressed some buttons. "Out of power?" He asked himself. "That Red Ranger!" He presses a button, opening the visor and jumps out.
By the Celestial Clock, the Rangers and Misako stop to look at it. "There's only a couple of minutes left!" Jay said.
"Everyone, find the helmet's perch." Misako replied before they move to the clock. "It could be anywhere!"
"You don't know how to return the helmet?" Wu asked.
"It has a resting place somewhere."
"Last time, Lloyd put the helmet back, but I don't remember where it was." Kai said.
"Maybe here." LJ replied, taking the helmet from Misako, puts it down and looks at the clock to show there is 50 seconds left.
"Oh, that didn't work." Misako grabs the helmet, jumps onto some gears before looking at a rotating one. "Maybe here." She puts it on the gear, but nothing happens. There is 43 seconds left.
"Perhaps I've found the perch!" Zane called out.
Misako throws the helmet towards him. He catches it, jumps onto a gear and puts the helmet on it. "No, wrong place." There is only 40 seconds left.
"What about here?" Jay asked, pointing toward another gear. Zane drops down to throws the helmet to him, who catches it while cartwheeling and somersaults onto a gear to place it on, but nothing happened again. There is only 34 seconds left.
"Could this be the place?" Wu asked.
Jay throws the helmet to Wu, only for him to end up knocked down by Sipal, who soon caught the helmet. "No!" Kai yelled as they turn to see her and some Stone Warriors.
"There's only 30 seconds left!" Sipal said, coming over to them. "I believe it's time to die..." Unaware to her, a gear grabs hold of the helmet. "No!"
A Stone Warrior jumps onto the clock. "Get the helmet!" Misako yelled.
"Right!" Cole replied as he ran over to the clock and jumps onto it. He looks up to see the warrior had reached the helmet before he quickly jumped onto a gear just behind the warrior, spins around it, jumps onto the gear it was on as it straightened for the warrior to move to helmet and soon jumped to kick the warrior off the gear.
Cole prepares to grab the helmet, only to end up slipping off and the helmet bounces along the gears before stopping on a cog as Misako finds the perch in front of it. "The helmet's perch."
"There's only 10 seconds left!" Wu yelled.
Misako prepares to run towards it, only for a Stone Warrior to come up towards her before Zane jumps over to force him down. "Go!" He yelled.
She starts to rush towards the helmet again, only for another Stone Warrior to trip her, but LJ manages to catch her while kicking the warrior down. "Mom, move!" He yelled.
She keeps going as two warriors move in front of her, only for Jay and Nya to force them back. Two more warriors start to run at her, but Kai and Cole grab hold of them, and another one comes in front of her, but Wu kicks it down. "Hurry, Misako!" He said.
"Ok." She replied.
She somersaults over Wu, landing between the perch and the cog before grabbing the helmet and puts it on the perch just as the clock hits zero.
The gears on the clock soon come to a halt as Lloyd comes up behind Sipal. "NOOOO!" She yelled.
"Oh, it worked!" LJ said.
"We did it!" Nya said before bringing Kai and Jay close to her. "Yeah!"
But as they continue cheering, the Celestial Clock starts to move again, making them stop. "No!" Wu said as Lloyd cackles and horns start blaring.
"The Horns of Destruction." Misako said. "We were too late!"
"It has started!" Lloyd said as they all turn to him. A laser beam comes out of the clock, hitting one of the gears before it reflects off to another, then another and another, until every gear was hit and a beam fires out of the clock, heading for the beach.
The beam comes across the beach where it suddenly stops and a giant portal started to appear, until it was big enough to even fit the Garmatron through. Back at the clock, Lloyd smiles as he looked at the clock. "Lloyd, you mustn't do this." Wu said. "You can stop this!"
"Wrong. This is just the beginning."
"Correct." The Overlord said as he hovers towards Lloyd while Sipal came over, holding the helmet. Lloyd takes the helmet and puts it on as the Overlord soon went towards him and goes into his body, surprising everyone.
Lloyd groans in pain as he got down on his knees. "Please, no!" Lloyd suddenly spoke differently, surprising them.
"Lloyd?" Misako asked.
Knowing what is going on, LJ stood forward. "Fight, father!" He yelled. "Fight him!"
"I... I can't!" Lloyd replied before looking up as his eyes slowly turn back to normal, only to turn purple again.
"You will obey." The Overlord spoke as Lloyd's mouth moved from it.
"You can do it, brother!" Wu yelled.
Lloyd growls in pain as his eyes turn back to normal. "End... it..." He said as best as he could.
LJ became confused. "What?" He asked. "I can't!"
"It is... the only... the only way...!"
"No, you will obey!" The Overlord said.
"Father, I refuse!"
"We have no choice, Junior." Wu said, placing a hand on his shoulder before turning to the others. "Now!"
"Spinjitzu Blaster!" Kai yelled.
Jay held the flail out while Zane places his bow on top of the flail, Cole places his hammer on top, Nya places her spear underneath the bow and Kai places his swords one each end of the bow, creating the Spinjitzu Blaster. Jay and Zane held the sides while Cole and Nya were knelt down, using their respective shoulders while holding onto the sword handles and Kai held the flail handle. "Fire Power!" Kai places his hand on top of the blaster. The end of the blaster soon starts emitting energy and expands. "Ready? Fire!" The blaster fires its shot.
The shot heads towards Lloyd, who then looked up before suddenly glowing purple as the shot made contact before exploding. Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole and Nya disassemble their combined weapon before looking on, only for them to notice something appearing from the smoke caused by the blast. It was a black dragon. "And so, you will fall, Rangers." The Overlord's voice came from the dragon before it opened its mouth and breathes out a purple beam, striking the ground below them, causing it to break apart, and they all start falling into the ocean below as they scream before landing with splashes. "And now, Sipal, we can continue our final battle. Prepare the Stone Warriors and the Garmatron."
"Yes, my lord." She said, bowing before walking away and the Overlord looks on in the direction of Ninjago City.
