Evangelion and One Punch Man are owned by Gainax and ONE respectively
High in the sky, an invisible pyramid is flying towards the ground. The one piloting it looks at a city and grunts in pain. "I must hurry and find the next Gold Ranger."
Unknown to the pilot, he passes a Tengu monster, who is laughing with his minions. "Bahaha! This is my chance for conquest. While my fellow kings assemble their armies, I shall conquer the Earth and take control before they invade. The Sky King shall rule the sky and ground!"
B-City is going through a period of peace. Compared to other cities, no monsters have attack this city in years. Within a middle school, the children are having a fun time with their friends at the playground. They are all playing heroes and monsters.
"I am Atomic Samurai! Taste my sword, monster!"
"Haha! You cannot defeat the Mighty Tomato Monster!"
One of the children is loving the 'battle' but notices one of them isn't playing. "Shinji! Why aren't you playing?"
Shinji Ikari is a little scared to admit it but tries his best. "I-I don't know who to play as…"
"That is crazy talk! Just play your favorite hero, they need your help. The Mighty Tomato is strong against Atomic Samurai!"
Shinji tries to think of his favorite, but he can't think of one. He ends up making one up. "Hey T-tomato monster, you shall lose to the… Um, Gold Ranger?"
The children all stop their battle and look at Shinji. One of them ask "Who is that?"
"He is the best hero around!" Shinji lies he picks up a stick and raise it in the air. "He fought the worst villains and save the day many times!"
"You are lying!" One of them yells at Shinji and the children laugh at him for just making a hero up.
"No I'm not!" He tries to tell them but they laugh at him which makes him cry and run to hide behind a tree next to the playground. He wants to be alone from the mocking. That was when heavy winds cut the tree in half. Shinji run away as the entire tree, branches and trunk, flies away. He looks up and sees a giant hurricane appear close to the middle school.
"Run inside children!" The principal yells as the teachers grab or escort the children into the school, where they enter the cellar for safety. One of the teachers grab Shinji and try to take him to the cellar. That was when a Tengu appears and strikes the teacher down with his war fan. Sadly, the teacher collapses on top of Shinji. He tries to get him off when a Tengu lands next to him.
"Haha! Die human!" The monster raises his fan and Shinji closes his eyes in fear. He hears what sounds like fighting and once it stops, he opens his eyes to reveal the down Tengu with a golden warrior over it.
"That was close. Are you okay child?" The Golden man turns to the child and helps him up. Shinji looks him up and down. His savior is in gold and black, holding a staff with a crystal incase in it. His helmet has a visor of the kanji for king.
"Wow! You are the Gold Ranger!" The child cheers which confuse the hero.
"Now where did you hear that name? I am the Gold Zeo Ranger. Where are your parents?" He ask Shinji, who is thinking about it.
"I don't know. I think they are on their way here."
The Gold Ranger places the child down as other Tengus surround them. "Stay behind me child. I will protect until we can find your parents."
"Yes sir!" Shinji holds onto the ranger's leg.
A couple runs out of their apartment and enters their car to flee from the monster attack when the wife realizes someone missing. "Aw damnit! Shinji! We need to get him!"
"Are you crazy?!" The husband is shocked she would even suggest that. "We are leaving for the shelters! Gendo isn't paying us enough to protect that brat from monsters!"
"Yeah, you are right! Drive!" They agree to leave Shinji for death and drive away. Unknown to them, the apartment's structure was weakened by the wind and collapses. They can only shout in fear as the building falls on top of them and their car.
The Gold Ranger looks around the Tengu corpses and sighs a breath of relief. He places his hand on Shinji's head to reassure him. "It's okay child, they are gone."
"Yes! I knew you could do it!" Shinji cheers. The Ranger grabs Shinji and jumps away from wind. Sky King lands and growls at this hero.
"So you are the one that killed my people. You will pay with your life." Sky King threatens these two. Gold Ranger pats Shinji's head and places him down.
"Hide." He orders Shinji, who runs away. Sky King waves his fan but Gold Ranger appears in front of him and kicks him. The child hides behind a giant boulder to watch the fight. The monster and hero move at top speed to clash into each other. Shinji can't see them, only their afterimages. Sky King creates a mini cyclone which Gold Ranger jumps over and dropkicks the Tengu. He then raises his staff.
"Power up!" He shouts as lightning fires from his staff and strikes Sky King, who screams in pain.
"Curses! This hero is annoying." Sky King said as he needs to distract the hero somehow. That was when he notices that child human is still here and he comes up with a truly devious idea. He flies up above the humans.
"Die human!" The Tengu monster loudly proclaims and launches a massive blast of wind towards Shinji. The Gold Ranger runs at the blast and blocks it with his own body. This leaves him open for Sky King to appear behind him and hit him with a bigger blast of wind which knocks him helmet off. The hero falls in pain with the monster over him. The monster prepares to finish him off but feels a rock hit him on his head. Sky King turns to see Shinji look up at him fearlessly.
"Get away from my hero!" The child shouts at the monster and proceeds to punch his leg. The monster scoffs at this moronic child and is prepared to kill Shinji.
"NO!" Gold Ranger tries to get up. He wants to protect the child. He wants to keep fighting but can't. "Get away from him!"
Shinji is scared as Sky King holds his fan up, ready to kill him. The child holds his fists up. "You will not hurt my hero."
Sky King is laughing as he moves his fan with speed that will cleave Shinji in half. That was when he suddenly explodes. A man comes out in a blue jumpsuit, looking at his smoking fist. "Damnit! Why am I winning with one punch now?"
Shinji looks at his savior but then remembers his hero. He kneels next to Gold Ranger and notices the injuries on him. They are definitely live threatening. "Gold Ranger!"
"Gah! I wish I healed from my injuries before I came here." Gold Ranger thinks about his injuries and soon looks at Shinji. "Child, what is your name?"
"It's Shinji Ikari. Please don't die sir!" He begs to his hero but he shakes his head.
"I'm afraid I can't. Please listen to me Shinji, my name Jason Lee Scott. I am the Gold Zeo Ranger and I fled my planet because of the Machine Empire. They destroyed my planet and my friends. I was only able to escape thanks to my best friend's sacrifice. They will come here soon. Please Shinji Ikari, take my staff and use the power of the Zeo Crystal to put an end to the heartless King Mondo and his Royal House of Gadgetry." Jason gives his staff to Shinji, who grabs it and feels power course through him. He turns into the last Zeo Power Ranger.
"Jason Lee Scott..." Shinji looks at his hero and then himself to found himself in golden armor. He kneels at Jason's corpse and picks it up to give it respect by burial. "Thank you. I promise I will defeat the Machine Empire for you."
That was when yawning ruins the moment and he turns to see the man in a blue jumpsuit beginning to walk away. "Guess I'll just get some lunch."
"Wait!" Shinji shouts which stops him. "Please tell me your name."
"Okay. I'm Saitama."
Three years later, Shinji Ikari finds himself in the cockpit of Pyramidas. Who knew that the now 14-year-old child would become a hero and a power ranger? Shortly after burying Jason, he went around cities defeating and destroying monsters that harmed civilians. Once the Hero Association found him, they gave him the child the title of hero. He was able to rise up and is now an A-Class Hero.
He is in the cockpit now going over any news of monster attacks. Not only that but he is trying to find the other hero that saved him all those years ago. "Saitama… Where did he go? It is like he just disappear off the map."
That was when one of his cameras sees an association worker in glasses knocking on Pyramidas. Shinji gets up and teleports to the Bespectacled Worker, who jumps seeing the hero appear in front of him. "Sir please don't do that! You will give me a heart attack!"
"Ha! Sorry about that, Pyramidas is quite big to walk around. The sun would be down by the time I make it to the door." Shinji jokes which has the Bespectacled Worker sigh. He then pulls out a letter and gives it to him.
"For some reason, the executives sent me to give you this. Something about Tokyo-3. They really needed this delivered to you." The worker explains which has Shinji in confusion. Tokyo-3 is a city that is known to be isolationist. No one has over gone or exit the city in years and heroes are in fact forbidden to even go there. Even the S Heroes. "Also it would help if you have a permanent residence instead of teleporting Pyramidas all over the world."
"Maybe but I love sightseeing and planes are quite expensive. Thank you, sir. Here for your troubles." Shinji pulls out a wad of cash and just gives it to him. This is what makes him a popular hero to the public. He is known for giving money to orphanages and reconstruction from monster attacks. Even makes appearances now and then. In fact, he has been rivaling A-Class Rank 1 Hero: Sweet Mask in popularly polls.
He waves at the worker and teleports inside Pyramidas.
"Expensive my butt." The Bespectacled Worker mutters and walks away with the wad of cash.
Shinji sits down and opens it to reveal a letter. He is about to read it when the cameras come alive to show the news in Z-City.
"This just in, swarms of mosquitos are rampaging around Z-City. They are sucking the blood of animal and human alike dry! Experts are telling people to stay indoors and let nothing come in your house!"
"This letter can wait." Shinji decides and slams the letter where his controls are located. This teleports Pyramidas close to Z-City. He quickly exits and raise his Power Staff and crosses his arms in the form of X. "Time for a Gold Rush! Gold Ranger Power Up!"
He transforms into the Gold Ranger and holds his staff in the air and teleports into the city. "Zeo Gold is here!"
Shinji finds himself on a street that was in the middle of a battle. Rubble and gravel all over the sidewalk and road. He picks up one of the rocks and tries to tell the time from it. "The battle must have been around an hour ago. Someone took out the mosquitos but who?"
That was when Shinji heard a muffle voice. Almost like pleading. He runs towards the source and finds someone under rubble. "Please… Help…"
"Don't worry, I am going to get you out!" Zeo Gold tries his best to calm the trap civilian. Once he frees the person, he realizes that this isn't a human. It is a giant female-shape mosquito, who's legs seem to be gone. She weakly looks up and pleads for mercy.
"Don't… Kill… Me…"
He kneels next to her and places his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry. I have a facility that can heal you."
Zeo Gold takes Mosquito Girl and is about teleport to Pyramidas, when he grabs her and jumps away from a slash that destroys the ground they were on. He lands and places her down and looks to reveal a giant lion-like monster standing in front of him, growling at them.
"Well well. There you are you Mosquito failure." Beast King insults his fellow House of Evolution creation. "I can see why the doctor sent me to finish you off."
He is walking towards her when Shinji gets between them. This makes Beast King glare at him. "Get out of my way trash."
"I don't think so. You will not hurt her." Zeo Gold protects the mosquito monster, who may have attack Z-City but he doesn't care. He will not let her die which enrages Beast King.
"Then die!" He slashes at Shinji, who jumps over the monster and knees him on the chin. Beast King tries to hit Shinji again but he hits him with his staff which knocks him back. The Lion Monster roars at him and moves at lightning speed.
"Lion Slash: Meteor Shower!" Beast King unleashes a flurry of slashes but he quickly dodges them at rapid speed. He then takes his Golden Power Staff and fires lightning bolts which strike the Beast King. He begins to stumble and once Zeo Gold lands and raises his Power Staff in the air, the lion monster explodes.
Mosquito Girl looks at her savior, who just defeated a monster that would've killed her with ease. "Who are you?"
"I am Zeo Gold! A hero must always help people." Shinji casually said and kneels next to her.
"But I am a monster. I was the one who attack the city." Mosquito mutters, knowing her appearance and actions should mean death.
He smiles at her, which has her heart beat loudly. "Human, monster, I can't just let someone die if I can help them. My name is Shinji. What's yours?"
Mosquito Girl looks away but answers. "Tch. Stop being cute. My name is…"
