DISCLAIMER! I forgot to put one in last time...whoops! I don't own nothing except for Alexis and 1/1000 of the plot because of Alexis. So whoop!

And sorry this took me a couple of days. And sorry the last chapter was a little short.

STORY!

The three pulled up by the National Archives dropping Ben off who was dressed as a staff member. "You two know what to do. I'm goin' in." Ben walked away from the red van and Lexi started humming the Mission Impossible theme.

"Shut up." Riley said putting on his walkie talkie contraption.

"Riley?" Lexi heard Ben asked. "Can you hear me?"

"Unfortunately yes." Riley replied.

"Stop being a grinch Riley and enjoy the tragic drama." Riley stuck his tongue out and she laughed. "He got in at least."

Riley looked out the window and saw Ben's head disappear into the building. "I wanna look at the monitor too!" Lexi sat beside Riley and saw the deserted hallways which occasionally a guard or two would appear in.

Pulling out a bag of chips from near a machine, Lexi popped one into her mouth. A zipping noise was heard. 'Must be changing now.' she thought.

"How do you look?" Riley asked Ben.

"Pretty good."

"Mazel tov." Lexi snorted when she heard that. "What's your problem?"

"Mazel tov. Haha...you are soooo grinchy." He pouted and smacked her upside her head.

"For you." Riley heard Ben say after two minutes of Lexi's insane laughing.

"Finally I hear something other than Lexi laughing." Riley muttered. Lexi calmed down and began eating her chips again.

While Riley was listening to Ben and Dr. Chase's conversation, Lexi went to the front seat and watched the scene. "Is that that hot girl?" Lexi heard Riley ask. She huffed for a second and shrugged an unfamiliar feeling off her shoulders. "Come on Romeo get out of there."

"You'd think they will go out now don't you? Hah! I wonder what her expression will be when she finds out we're criminals in the act. Take that Big-Foot hating lady." Lexi said with a dreamy expression as she thought about Abigail Chase fainting from a heart attack and Ben just laughing at her.

"Your sadistic Alex." Riley said using the nickname he gave her.

"Am not."

"Are too."

"Am not. Am not."

"Are too. Are too." Ben rolled his eyes in the building hearing the two argue.

"Herbert?" Riley asked. Lexi snorted.

"Herbert...sherbert...I bet he looks like strawberry sherbert." Lexi said. Riley chuckled and went back to listening to the conversation. Lexi heard Ben describing what would have happened to the men. "You call me sadist? Riles."

Riley huffed and pouted. "Shut up." Lexi giggled and went back to watching a squrriel chase another one around in the park to the right of the field. "Way to give it away." Lexi heard Riley mutter.

"You know what? I'm coming back there." So Lexi went back to sitting next to Riley and listening to the conversation.

"Goodnight." she heard said three times.

"Goodnight!" Lexi mimicked. Riley laughed.

"This better work." Riley said hearing Ben do something.

"It's working." Riley said waving a hand in front of Lexi's face who was in a deep thought about Ian and if he's there or not. "You home?"

"Nope, I'm in a van." Riley laughed and flicked her ear which she did back.

"We're in the elevator." Ben said.

"Okay." Riley said looking at the laptop. "Turning off surveillance cameras now."

"Great." Ben said.

"I'm gonna go outside." Lexi said. Riley looked and her and nodded as she went out the back way.

She walked around the building but stopped when she got to a silver van. She opened it to find no one in there. She looked down where she almost tripped to find a trapdoor lifted and a tunnel heading down.

"Crap...they're here." She started running back towards the van where Riley was and hopped back into the van. "Ian and his group is here." She said breathlessly to Riley who repeated it to Ben.

She looked at the screen to see Ben unscrewing the case which held the Declaration. "He's gotta hurry. They've probably been here a while."

"You've got a bout...one..." Then the screen turned to the estatic white noise picture.

"Crap! They're in the building. They are drawing too much attention now. What kind of theives are they?" Riley was going nuts and rambling as Lexi was checking the plugs.

"Get out of there. Get out of there now." Riley said.

"No shit." Lexi said and Riley ignored her comment. "Fuck, Ian!"

"Is it heavy?" Riley asked.

"Stop asking moronic questions Riles." Riley glared at her and she glared back.

"Gates." Lexi heard weakly through the microphone.

"Damn..."

Gun shots were sounded and Riley looked around. Lexi was rocking back and forth. "I disown myself. I disown myself from my family. They're a bunch of evil fuckers. God I hate Ian. I bet Shaw's shooting."

She could hear a distant shouting, "Tell Alexis I said hi." From Ian as the door closed.

"Bastard." She muttered as Riley patted her knee comforting her. She just looked forward in a trance like state.

"I hate that guy." Riley muttered.

"Join the club." Lexi said.

They put the stuff away and turned it off. Riley got into the drivers seat and Lexi got into to passenger seat. "Where are you Ben?" Riley sorta sang.

"Relax. He's fine. He probably got caught up by the Big Foot hating lady." Riley rolled his eyes.

"Lay off it." She pouted.

"I don't like her." She declared.

"Who cares?"

"I do!"

"I don't." Lexi just stared in amazement on how weird Riley was acting. Must be grinchy still from being here in the first place. Ben came out of the building and started the van.

"Ben the..uh...Mean Declaration Lady is behind you." Riley pointed out. 'Big Foot hating. She's rude and ugh!' Lexi thought detesting Abigail Chase.

Red lights went off and a loud alarm rang. "Crap!" Lexi said.

"Security!" Abigail shouted walking to the building...Declaration in hand. Ben leaned between the seat.

"Stop!" He said to the almost driving Riley. He got of the van and they started shooting as Ian grabbed Abgail. A bullet went the window and into Lexi's arm.

"Ow..." She whined as it only went in about an inch. She opened the glove compartment and got tweezers out as they went on a car chase. She got the bullet out and wrapped her arm in a piece of Riley's ripped shirt he ripped for her. "Thanks."

"No problemo." He said turning a sharp right. Soon, they made another right turn avoiding a large truck. They went down a road that was bumpy and unpaved. "Skidding. Skidding. Skidding." Riley said after each bump.

After ANOTHER sharp right, the doors opened in Ian's van and they could see Dr. Chase hold onto the door with her life...document in hand. "God, she's obsessed with that paper."

"Holy Lord." Riley said watching the scene as Ian tried taking the document. "Not again." Riley said as Lexi ducked when Shaw began shooting at them.

"Shaw's got to get rid of his precious gun." Lexi spat out. Ben opened the side door and leaned out clutching onto the seatbelt.

"Get me next to her." Riley obeyed and pulled next to Abigail.

They both narrowingly advoided a bus. Ben missed her hand that outstretched when the bus passed. The door closed and Ben saw Ian take the document. The door swung open again and Ben managed to get her in as Shaw started SHOOTING AGAIN.

"THANKS FUCKERS!" Lexi shouted out as they drove away. Ian's face dropped when he heard her.

"You alright?" Ben asked Chase.

"No! Those freaking Lunatics got the declaration!"

"You're not hurt are you?"

"You're all lunatics!" She shouted.

"Our pleasure." Lexi said watching in amusment.

"Especially her!"

"Are you alright?" Ben asked again.

Riley interrupted, "Still a little on edge from being shot at but I'll be okay, thanks for asking." Lexi giggled.

"Your welcome." Riley stuck his tongue out at her and she laughed again.

"Well I'm not alright!" Chase said. "Those men have the Declaration!"

"Really? I thought they were Women." Lexi said to Riley who laughed.

"They don't have it because it's right here." Ben said pulling a silver container out.

"SCHWEETS!" Lexi said pumping her fist into the air.

He showed her the inscription on the back. "Now, stop shouting."

"Give me that!" She shouted...again.

"Three year old language." Lexi muttered and Riley laughed again.

"You're still shouting and it's getting annoying." Ben said putting the document back into the container.

"I'll start shouting." Lexi offered and Riley smacked her upside the head. "God, I'm gonna get a headache." She whined. Riley smirked pleased at his work.

"If this is the real one, then what did they get?" She asked as Ben sat behind Lexi's chair.

"A sovenior." He said. "I paid for both papers, that means you owe me 35 dollars, including tax." Riley and Lexi laughed.

"Who were those men?" She asked.

"The guys we warned you about. Turns out to be my brother and his croonies. But noooooo...you have to go and diss Big Foot. You Big Foot hating loser!" Lexi said. Riley stiffled a laugh and Ben shook his head in amusement.

"We did the only thing we could do to keep it safe." Ben said.

"Verdammt give me that!" She shouted AGAIN and tried to grab the declaration.

"You know something? You're shouting again." Ben informed her.

"And I've got a headache enough with Bozo here." She glared at Lexi and Lexi crossed her eyes.

She sighed. "There is NOT a treasure map on the back of the Declaration." Abigail said.

"Why? Becaue Big Foot erased it?" Lexi taunted her. Riley chuckled and Ben laughed.

"And there's no chance, anoyone can steal this?" Ben asked waving the Declaration which has now been placed in a red container. "Everything I told you was the truth."

"Except for one thing..."Lexi trailed off as Riley smacked her upside the head. "God Riley! Stop doing that!" she whined. Abigail smirked at her.

"Okay, my name's not Brown. It's Gates." He informed her.

"That's the lie. My name's Alexis Howe and that's Riley Poole." Lexi said.

"Wait a minute. Did you say Gates?" She looked forward. "You're the family with the theory about the Founding Fathers that's completely absurd." She paused. "I take it back. You're not liars...your insane."

"My doctor told me that one time. Guess he was right." Lexi informed her. Abigail rolled her eyes already fed up with the girl's statements.

"Now it's time to find out if there's a map on the Declaration." Riley said still driving the car.

"You can't seriously intend to run chemical test on the Declaration of Independence in the back of a moving van." Abigail protested.

"How bout a flying van." Lexi pointed out and Riley shrugged.

"Sounds good."

"Shut up you two." Ben said.

"We have a clean-room enviroment thing set up with the whole shebang." Riley informed her.

"We can't go back there." Ben said shaking his head.

"Why not?" Lexi asked.

"Used a visa to buy the two documents."

"A credit card slip?" Riley asked. "Dude, we are on the grid." Lexi laughed a little at this. 'Grid...haha.' "There going to have your's...and my records from forever."

"Good thing I ain't related to you two dudes." Lexi said crossing her eyes at Abigail who shivered due to the fact she found it gross.

"Shut up, Alex. It's only a matter of minutes before the FBI show up at my door." Ben said. Abigail snickered.

"What do we do?" Riley asked.

"We need those letters." Ben replied after a sigh.

"What letters?" Abigail and Lexi asked at the same time.

"Pull over after a right." Ben informed Riley who obeyed and parked in a park where Ben got out and Abigail sat on the edge of the truck.

Ben informed them about the letters. "You have the original Silence Dogood letters? Did yah steal those too?"

"No, Big Foot might have." Riley laughed from the driver seat.

"Will you lay off about that?" Abigail snapped. Lexi smirked.

"Sure. I'll just talk about how much you detest Santa Claus now." Abigail groaned and Riley smacked Lexi upside the head again.

"Owie." She said. She looked at the bandage to see it already bleeding through and dripping down her arm.

"They're scans of the originals." Ben informed her as Riley started rebandaging Lexi's wound.

"Why do you need them?" Abigail asked after three times being shushed.

"She really can't shut up, can she?" Ben asked Riley who shrugged.

"Thanks." Lexi said as riley tied of the rest of the piece of cloth they got from Lexi's satin shirt this time.

"Ben, you know what you have to do." Riley told him, watching Lexi curl up into a ball on the seat and fell asleep.

"I know. I just don't want to."

"Well, not to be a bother, but you do realize how many people are after us, right?" Ben groaned. "We probably have our own satelite. I mean, it took you about two minutes to decide to take the Declaration of Independence."

"I didn't know I was gonna have ta tell my dad personally about it." Riley shrugged as Abigail sped off with the Declaration Ben let her hold.

"hey! Not cool!" He grabbed her from behind and she kicked and yelled.

"Okay, you're let go. Now go!"

"I'm not going without the Declaration." She informed grabbing at it.

"You're not going with the Declaration." Ben said swinging the containor over his shoulder.

"I'm not letting it out of my sight, so yeah, I'm going."

"Wait a minute...you're not going with US with the declaration."

"Oh yes I am."

"Oh no you're not."

"If you wanted to leave me behind, you shouldn't have told me where you're going." Riley groaned and bang his head against the sterring wheel as Ben just glared at her.

"Time to go Dad's." Ben said as he went in the van who Abigail followed stubbornly. "She was tired wasn't she?" Ben asked.

"Well, she was shot." Riley said nodding his head towards her wound on her left arm.

"God, by Shaw too?" Riley nodded. "Ian told me a couple of months ago that Shaw had a huge crush on her also. Guess that relationship isn't going anywhere." Ben noticed the smirk on Riley's mouth when he said that.

'Is there something going on between the two?' Ben asked himself as Abigail raised an eyebrow at the smiling face of Ben.
