I am really sorry because I realize that the other chapter was really short and not detailed. God that was probably the worst chapter I have ever written in my entire life. I'm sorry again!

This chapter is long and rushed...so stay with me...lol. I just want to get to the end of the movie to start the plot in my head but I wanted to show the movie adventure to showthe background of Alexis.

"You know you are foolish to think you were ever going to get rid of us, Alexis." Ian told her and she spat at him and his shoes. "You really hate me that much don't you?" He asked. She glared at him and nodded because she couldn't talk through her gagged mouth. "Gates' precious Abigail called us and made a deal with us. She has decided to let us have the treasure if we help Ben free." 'No! Why would she...I get it. All Ben has to do is just go along with it. I get it now.' "I really advice you to stick with us and treat Ben and his crew like they don't exist. You belong with me. I can protect you from any harm and I bet you and Shaw would be great together." Alexis spat at him again and started breathing harder. "You know what happens when you get too mad. I'll leave you alone seeing Gates has arrived. Let her go, Shaw. I think she can hang out with Gates until he leads us to the treasure." The muscular arms holding her back released her and she fell to the ground shaking.

When she was too filled with anger she couldn't control herself and her body would go into lockdown. The only ones who knew about this were Ian, Shaw, and Ben. No one else knew because she didn't want anyone else to have pity on her. This is the main reason why she acted so childish because it was a way to vent her anger and stress. Now Ben was coming and he would see her like this. Sitting up against the car shaking with rage like she was a druggie going through withdrawal and her muscles straining. It wasn't something she was used to and it hurts her a lot. It's a condition not diagnosed but they just advise her to stay away from stress and anger. That's what she does.

She heard distant talking as they talked to him about the whole situation. He asked about her, Abigail, and Riley. "Your little friend is having a problem. Maybe you might want to see?" She heard someone ask. It was Ian and she knew he knew she hated people seeing her like this. Ben saw her and kneeled next to her.

"Did they make you like this? Calm down Alex. Just breathe in and out and think of something peaceful. Remember your childhood. Remember playing with me and the others at kickball." This calmed her down a lot. Then he said something that surprised her. "Think of Riley." This shocked her out of her spasm and she looked at him and hugged him, too weak to talk or do anything otherwise. Picking her up and carrying her bridal, he glared at Ian and sat in the car with her. "They won't do this again. I promise." Ben treated her like a real brother would. He looked out for her when no one else would. Her mother died when she was two and her father wasn't always there and always on business trips. Ian just ignored the fact and ventilated his anger and depression by gambling and things like that. That was how Alexis developed her anger issue.

Shaw sat on their left and the Russian dude on their right. Shaw handed Ben the answered phone and he talked to Abigail. "Alexis is right here. Tell Riley to calm down and she is just tired out." Lexi mouthed 'Thank you' to him for not mentioning her anger problems. They talked more and Lexi drifted further and further and soon she might collapse into a coma. "Wake up, Lexi. You know. Stay awake." Ben urged her. "Oh that? Um...Lexi has a tendency to drool when she sleeps." Lexi smiled at that and tried to keep herself awake.

"She's going to be okay...right?" Shaw asked. "Shut up." Ben hissed at him. Knowing perfectly well that Shaw might have caused this or Ian, he didn't want them talking to her or about her. That might make her angry again. They pulled over and they got out. Riley's eyes widened from across the street seeing Ben carrying a weakened Lexi whose head was on his shoulder and arms around his neck. Abigail asked him about it but Riley had no answer. That was the first time he saw her like that...and it scared him.

"The Declaration of Independence...and the meerschaum pipe." Ian said putting them on the top of the black FBI-like car. "All yours." Lexi looked at it and smiled at the treasures that contained so much history. Thinking about it, she almost understood that passion harvesting in Ben about history and how it continues to grow with each passing day. She felt Ben grab the items without dropping her. Ian started talking about some strange bluff thing and Lexi tuned into the conversation she happened to be missing out on. "Every once in a while, you've got to be holding all the cards." Ian looked towards a car and so did Ben. Lexi gathered the strength and looked to see his dad sitting in a black SUV with his hands duck taped. She whispered to Ben who reluctantly let her down and helped her get stabled.

"Thanks Ben. I think I can walk now though." She told him. Feeling dizzy and weak, she managed to walk and talk. The feeling of passing out went away with each pump of adrenaline through her body. Adrenaline did amazing things to people at the strangest times. They went into the Trinity Church and she sat down with Ben's dad and said hello. "Hey, Mr. Gates. I'm sorry about acting so...weird at your house. But, I was trying to vent anger." She whispered to him.

Patrick Gates smiled at the young girl next to him you seemed to almost be falling asleep. "It's alright. Just, don't date my son."

This made Lexi smile. "I wouldn't for all the money in the world. Don't get me wrong, but he's like my brother. Unlike my stupid one I have who is trying to make him tell him everything." He looked over at Ian and she nodded. Soon the doors opened and Lexi turned to see Riley and Abigail coming in. "Sorry." She mouthed to Riley who nodded and smiled.

Ben and Ian sat a couple of rows ahead of them and began looking at the map. Ben muttered something about the map being remarkable and handed the glasses to Ian who also took a look at the map. Lexi rubbed her sore arm muscles which seemed to have strained the most. "Are you alright?" he asked after exclaiming "Just another clue."

"I'm peachy. Just sore." He nodded unknowing to what caused it and stood up when ordered as they all headed underneath the magnificent church that Lexi took in the scenery. Everything looked huge and extremely religious with paintings, mosaics, and candlelight. Lexi walked alongside Riley who just grabbed her hand and looked at her with worry. She smiled and whispered that everything was alright. He didn't let go though and they reached the bottom of the church. Riley began shouting as soon as he read something on the wall. Everyone gathered around to read Parkington Lane on a small part on the wall. Turns out Parkington Lane was a person whose grave was beneath the church.

Another goon of Ian's began smashing the grave stone until they could get through. Lexi stood behind Riley holding his hand refusing to let go. She was truly scared of what was going to happen and knew that something was going to happen. The stronger guys started taking out the coffin and when it was fully out a skeleton fell through the bottom. Lexi gasped and buried her face in Riley's back. He squeezed her hand lightly as everyone shouted. They all looked inside of the grave and Riley spoke up. "Okay, who wants to go down the creepy tunnel inside the tomb first?" Lexi smiled at his statement for some reason.

Ian began to give directions. "Right. McGregor, Viktor, you stay here. And if anyone should come out without me, well…use your imagination." Riley looked at Lexi who was still holding his hand and Shaw saw and glared. Ben climbed in first with the flashlight and Lexi followed after Patrick.

"Are you okay?" He asked Lexi who still looked a little woozy. She smiled and nodded then hugged him.

"Thank you Ben," then walked ahead a little. The tunnel was dry and caked with dust and cobwebs. Stones stuck out at odd places and the only source of light came from the torch Ben carried. Even the floorboards had random holes in it and rotten splotches here and there. The faintest sounds echoed and the chattering of mice was heard. ((A/N: How's that for detailed? Lol)) Ben lit a chandelier that soon lighted the entire cavern that seemed to be miles down. There was wood everywhere forming steps, ladders, a walkway, even an elevator. Some were molded but most seemed to be in perfect condition minus the webs everywhere and dust.

"How do simple men make all of this?" The Russian guy asked.

"Just like they made the pyramids of Egypt and the Great Wall of China." Ben replied.

Riley's comment was the best and made Lexi laugh quietly. "Yeah, the aliens helped." They began walking and it seemed a rumbling sound made Lexi deaf for a second as dust and dirt fell upon them. She stumbled and Riley stabled her. Thanking him they continued. Shaw soon fell through the floorboards and towards the dark abyss and Lexi stared wide eyed at the yelling body slowly becoming nothing.

She grabbed Riley's hand again knowing Shaw was probably dead now. She actually never witnessed anyone die besides her mother and didn't want to start again. Soon the rest of the platform began giving away and Riley jumped to a lower platform. Ian and the Russian dude jumped onto the elevator. Ian and Patrick soon followed the Russian dude. Abigail, Ben and Lexi soon sped down. Ben dropped Abigail onto a platform and saved the declaration as the platform began to lower more. Patrick lowered a rope to the dangling Ben who grabbed on and swung to the platform. Lexi just held on for her life as she was on the highest platform. Ian lowered the platform and she grabbed onto the side and he helped her on. "You may be a stupid brother but thanks for helping me." Ian smiled and nodded his head. Ian made the other three come on and soon they began their decent to a cave. Lexi hugged Riley and smiled feeling safe. He held onto her as she was about three inches shorter than him and thinner, she seemed fragile to him and he didn't want to break her.

Soon they entered the cave and lit it up to reveal a circular room where there was nothing. There was just a small lamp and everyone gathered into the room. Lexi rested by the wall and sat down. Everyone else examined the room. She blocked out all talking and soon became aware to shouting. Opening her eyes she saw Ian and the Russian dude running towards the elevator. She stood up and walked where Patrick finished telling a clue. "Are you seriously leaving us behind?" She called up to a retreating Ian.

"I'll come back for you sis. Right after I find the treasure. I promise."

"A fat load your promises are!" She called up. The other retreated.

"This time I promise." Ian called down louder.

"I will never hold you against it because you'll never do it. I hate you and I disown myself!" She could hear the others talking and Ian laughing. She could feel her arms twitching and walked over to Ben showing her twitching arms.

"Alex. Calm down. He's not going to come back but we'll get out of here, I promise." This didn't help. "I promise Lexi." Riley and the other two watched in curiosity as a twitching Lexi was being held in Ben's arms. "Calm down, relax. Think about a certain someone." This once again shocked her out of her anger twitching and Ben smiled and she hugged back.

"You are a life saver." She muttered and walked away to sit against a wall. Ben turned towards the wall as Riley went over to Lexi. "What was that?" He asked. Lexi ignored the question. "Is there something wrong with you Lexi?" He asked again kneeling by her.

Lexi looked at him and he could see tears of shame running down her cheeks. "You were never supposed to see it. Just Ben and Ian knew. Just them. Now you know and so does Abigail. Now, I'll never hear the end of it. You'll never stop asking about it. It's a medical condition. I was diagnosed with an unknown anger issue at age eleven when my body began twitching then had a spasm to the point where I couldn't control it then I was sent to the hospital when I passed into a coma. That's when I began my childish days. It gave me something to vent anger or at least avoid it. That's what happened when I was taken by Ian. He made me so mad my body had a spasm and Ben helped me. It twitched there and he stopped it. He, unlike my family, has always been there, keeping me from dying." Riley just watched her, jaw opened. "Don't pity me Riley. I don't like it." She left him behind and walked over to Ben as he pushed a button.

He nodded as Ben opened the door that appeared and they entered behind everyone else. The room was trashed with broken things, and dust was scattered everywhere. It looked like the rest of the chamber they have been exploring. Someone else has been here before or so it seemed. Ben seemed to have just given up and sat down on a slab of stone. Lexi went by Ben and rested a hand on his arm. "It's not over. It's not." She whispered and sat on a box and watched the scene unfolding.

((A/N: I know this is completely script and stuff with some original lines. But I love this scene as some others I have added. Lol. I have also realized that this chapter is really really really long.))

Ben stood in the center of the room devastated; holding onto the torch like it's his only ray of hope. Riley was dumb and mentioned the most obvious fact. "Looks, like…someone got here first." Lexi smacked him upside the head and sat down.

"Way to be Captain Obvious." She retorted back. Abigail glared at Riley to keep his mouth shut before the two get into another heated battle like always.

"It's gone." Ben said simply as though it wasn't hard to say. Riley gave Lexi a look that said 'And you call me Captain Obvious.' "It might have been gone before Charles Carroll told the story to Thomas Gates." He thought reasonably. "Riley volunteered for nothing. Lexi was dragged into all this and put in tremendous danger and then we literally dragged Abigail into all of this." Ben stated looking like he was trying hard not to just cry knowing his life long dream has been ripped away from him.

Patrick tried to make everything seem not as bad. "It doesn't matter."

"I know," Ben interrupted him before he could speak again, "Because you were right."

Though, something in Patrick's mind changed. He looked at the room in a different room then he first did when he first stepped into the room. "No I wasn't." Was all he said for a moment. "This room is real, Ben." Lexi smiled up at the aging man knowing he just got one step closer to becoming wise. "That means the treasure is real." He stated stepping towards Ben little by little." Ben looked confused but Lexi knew it was because he was fighting a battle in his mind. "We're in the company of some of the most brilliant minds in history, because you found what they left behind for us to find, and understood the meaning of it."

"What can we say, Pat, your boy is an intelligent man." Lexi said smiling towards Ben. Abigail raised her eyebrows at this and Lexi smiled at her…not in a snotty I'm better than you but in a friendly way. "Got to admit, someone else besides me, that Ben is the most stubborn person you will ever meet." Riley and Abby laughed while Ben smacked her upside the head.

This time Riley spoke up. "Hey! That's my thing." And to prove his point he did the exact same thing.

"You guys suck!"

Though, Ben laughed silently for a second, his face fell and he sat down looking so confused. "I just…thought that I was going to find the treasure."

But, during this episode, the true father-son moment happened when Pat looked upon his son and said, "Okay. Then we'll keep looking for it."

Abigail walked up to them and declared she was in. Lexi did the same and stood by Abigail and whispered. "Can I talk to you later?" Abby nodded without the other two seeing. Riley ruined the moment completely by speaking up. "Not to be Johnny Rain Cloud, but that's not going to happen. Because as far as I can see, we're still trapped down here." Everyone thought about this and realized…very sadly that Riley made another point…that they were in fact still trapped down there. "Now, Ben, where is this other way out?"

"Well, that's it. It doesn't make any sense; because the first thing the builders would have done after getting down here was cut a secondary shaft back out for air…and in case of cave-ins." Everyone watched Pat walk around the chamber looking closely. Then, out of the blue, Ben spotted two circular switches sticking out of the wall. Wiping away the dust, Ben asked a question to himself so quietly no one else heard. Taking out the pipe from back at the ship, Lexi looked at it then at the switch and realized it was the key after all. The Key Lies Within The Charlotte. Putting the boat part in, he then put the stick in and twirled it around. After a click sounded he pushed in and a sudden gust of wind blew around them as a wall opened on the other side of the room…
