Yeah, so here is the next chapter in about one day so hooshah! YES! I rock! WHOO!

And I'm sorry it took so long and I'm not replying to messages! But thanks to all reviewers! Patience has definitely been revealed. Lol. I was on vacation for the last couple of weeks and I'm sorry once again. But I actually got to see the archives where the Declaration of Independence was and that was really cool.

Bye this time, Lexi was really freaked out and grabbed onto Riley's sleeve like it was a reflex. The dust flew around their feet and Riley grabbed her hand and held it as they walked very slowly through the opened door.

It was like slow motion. They walked in there, three holding torches. Egyptian and Mesopotamian treasures all over, Middle Ages papers and irony statues; jade everywhere and Lexi just couldn't take it all in at once and she went over to Ben and hugged him like he was going to disappear any second. Then walking over to a random Egyptian statue she eyes it and saw a key hanging around it's next she grabbed it and looked at it. It was pure jade…and in the form of a pyramid but 2D. It was small and rusted and looked like it would break any time soon. She twirled the hidden necklace around her neck for a while and thought they looked exactly the same. Except one was fake and one was real. She put the necklace back around the statue and looked around still memorized while putting the necklace she wore back under her shirt. That's when she saw Riley…hugging a giant green Egyptian statue with a funny looking goatee. "Riley! I knew it was hard for you to get a girlfriend, but do you HAVE to resort to statues? I mean come on. BEN! Riley's deprived!" Ben laughed even though he was in shock and Riley jumped on her and started tickling her like mad. "Mercy! I'm sorry." She said gasping for air and Riley just straddled her smiling triumphantly. She slid out from under him and pinched his cheek. "Maybe the statue will go out with you. I don't know. I'm sorry for making fun of your choice in a mate. I apologize profoundly."

This made Riley stick his tongue out at her and she giggled. Ben lit a small stool which lighted a long shelf with a bright flame revealing the true treasure. All of the parchments, evidence of history, statues, missing artifacts, and stuff they couldn't quite tell what it was, were shown and more history than the five could think of was revealed. Lexi sat down just to take it in. Abigail jumped on Ben with a hug and they started laughing. Riley sat next to Lexi and pointed to the far end of the chamber. "Stairs." Was all he said and Lexi smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. "Maybe at the end of this there would be a happily ever after." He assured her.

"Unless the money tears us all apart and Ian comes after us or worse we get thrown into jail especially Ben who not only escaped the FBI but stole the Declaration of Independence. What about Patrick who lied to the FBI about knowing where we were and what happened to us and stuff. Abigail decided to come with us and not only that but helped Ben escape. Or what about you who helped Ben with everything and I'm on the list for doing the same. Riley, this whole thing could make us or break us."

Riley laughed at the panicked girl next to him. "Come on Lexi, this could help us a lot. And I promise that the money thing will be no problem. Nothing could tear this five apart. And we get bonus points for finding the treasure and knowing Ben he will definitely give it all to America so it can be studied and then maybe one day it will be stolen. Yikes, that would definitely suck." Riley laughed and Ben's scoff when he listened to their conversation. "And I can take Ian on any day."

This made everyone laugh, including Riley. "What!" Lexi said out of breath as their laughter calmed down. Riley thought for a second and shrugged, "Maybe you or Ben could." Lexi laughed and realized something, "You probably got higher SAT scores then him. Why do you think he is in the criminal business? His favorite subject was lunch where he got to take everyone's money. Including mine which I have never let it go." Everyone smiled and laughed. "Now there's the matter of the police Ben; what are you going to do?"

Everyone looked at Ben waiting for an answer. "We call them and tell them to come to us." Everyone stared at him. "Listen…we found the treasure and we also have the declaration in perfect condition. Why would they arrest us?"

Most would have thought this was a genius plan but Riley once again found the down side to the plan. "Sorry, but don't you remember that you escaped the FBI, ran away from the crime scene, and blah. And they have my records there so I'm in jail along with you. Lexi I don't know about and they will probably let Abigail off the hook." Ben frowned.

"Too bad there isn't a way to trade Ian for Ben."

Ben walked up to Lexi and hugged her. "Once again Alex, you did it."

Smirking she replied, "I'm just so smart that I can sound intelligent without thinking about it." Everyone groaned and started to make their way out of the cavern where they ended up entering the church through the same coffin. Ian's goons were gone already and Ben went to go call the FBI. Riley and Patrick left with him leaving the two girls behind. "Um…Abby? I'm sorry for treating you wrong. It's just that I had a lot of anger towards my brother…and it seemed a way to vent my anger by never letting go of the big foot comment. But, I realize that the manner I vented my anger was wrong and it poured into you. But, I don't hate you and I didn't like you at first because I thought I was going to lose Ben to you and he'll forget all about me like one time. No details, self-explanatory." She added quickly when Abby's mouth opened. "So, I hope you'll forgive me and we can become friends?" She asked hopefully looking at Abby.

"Yeah, I think I could do that." Abby said and Lexi grinned and hugged her hard. "But…I still hate big foot." Lexi gasped and glared playfully at her. "BEN! YOUR GIRLFRIEND STILL HATES BIG FOOT! AND I EVEN APOLOGIZED!" They could hear their laughter above them so they went upstairs to join the party to see the FBI was already there. "How long did it take to apologize?" Lexi asked.

"Not that long. Man…service is quick now-a-days." Lexi agreed and they sat down with Riley and Patrick.

They were talking when they heard Ben speak about them. "I would like the credit for finding the treasure to go to the entire gates family and Riley Poole. Abigail should get her job back and maybe a promotion. Alexis Howe receives credit also and money that she has donated for history and this treasure hunt," Lexi smiled and winked at Ben thanking him silently. She indeed spent her life's savings to provide Ben with things to help him through stuff. The entire debt was over a million dollars. The man asked Ben what he wanted and Ben laughed softly. "I would really like not going to jail."

"Someone has to go to jail…" And that's how Alexis's plan was put in plan.

So that was the end of the beginning to a larger journey Alexis Howe is going on.
