Disclaimer : I do not own the characters, not Harry Potter, and I am NOT J.K.Rowling…

Unique.

That's how everyone will describe him. All those who have known him.

He was kind, caring and wise. He ruled Hogwarts more wisely than anyone could have ever done.

He was an icon for all. He knew what to say to those who grieved, he knew what to do in panic situations.

He knew what love was and never underestimated it.

He knew how to impose respect.

And most importantly, he cared about Hogwarts and the safety of those who attended to it.

He was a protector, a parent, a friend.

He was a wizard. A very powerful wizard.

Albus Dumbledore.

The only one Voldemort feared.

For he knew what love was. And it was surrounding him, emanating from his very soul. For he was capable to love.

He protected the Boy Who Lived. He taught him. He guided him. He told him about the past. He showed him the past.

He taught him to forgive.

And now he was gone.

Killed.

By the man he had trusted. By the man he had saved from death. By the man who was supposed to help them.

Severus Snape.

He had always known to see good in everyone, even in terrible foes, for he believed that a man could change.

In the end, it was that that had brought him death.

His trust.

His love to trust.

But would he be alive, he would tell you to try. To try and see good in people. To love. And to never forget how powerful love is.

For it is the only thing that keeps us alive and united.

Love.

Our love for life.

So never forget, wizards all that you are, to love.

For there was once one man who never feared to do so.

Albus Dumbledore.

A protector, a parent, a friend.

Just a short oneshot I wanted to write in the memory of Albus Dumbledore….I actually cried at the end of book 6, when Dumbledore died, and I wanted to write something that could, maybe, show at least some of his qualities.

And I say one more thing: I hope Harry kills Snape.

Anyways, hope you liked it.
