I am leaving this earth in peace because I know the men now have a king that is just, loyal, courageous and faithful to his word. I am certain you shall know how to rule and rebuildthis countryduring the days of peace.I also know you will love my beloved daugther to your last breath. I wish you twosome lovely childrenthat I am very decieved not to have a chance to meet but that I am sure you will well educate.
I will never forget you as a little boy, running around everywhere in Imladris, playing tricks on everyone. Nor your tendency to find trouble anywhere. You have become a great man and you can be proud of it and of what you accomplished. You have a strength in you that no other has.
I will never be thankful enough to your mother for letting me bring you up as my own child. It is one of the greatest gifts I received in my long life. Your presence in my life has been a wonderful thing.
I wish you joy for the time that is left to you.
