Author's Note - This is one of the few one-shots I'll be releasing because I ran into a slight writer's block towards "Dragon Ball Super: Remix". Don't worry. The series will end next year! For now, enjoy a little preview of what "Pride N' Justice: Season 2" will be like next year. Thanks, and enjoy!

Pride Trooper Headquarters (Three Weeks Later)...
Cherri's POV
What does becoming a Pride Trooper feel like? That's the same question Debra has kept asking me since I signed myself as a Pride Trooper. I kept telling her that I'm not an official Pride Trooper — I'm only here to control my mimicry abilities. That's it! Debra, being the superfan, doesn't take no for an answer, and continues to predict my place as one of the greatest heroes in one of the greatest organizations ever. Ah, I should have said no to Jiren, when he told me about training my mimicry powers. It's not like I wanted to save lives and brag about it. However, I can't say no to the man, who I grew a friendship with on Planet Mordo. Jiren has changed for the better after he left — forming friendships with the Pride Troopers, saving citizens across the universe, and becoming the strongest mortal. — that sounds like Jiren should be the only hero, not the Pride Troopers. At last, Jiren isn't selfish. He knows friends are supportive. I knew firsthand that Jiren's loyalty is pure and a bit judgemental. Jiren could occasionally judge people, whenever I try to talk with them. It's the same in present times, as Jiren worries about me getting hurt. Over the past three weeks, we've been training in the training chambers for days. Now, I'm getting better in a few of my mimicry techniques — like touching people and instantly leaving their forms, back to my normal self. Despite the training, Jiren still worries about us going on a mission together. While he goes on a team mission, I try to understand the Pride Trooper Headquarters more. Sure, the tour was simple to follow, but if you have a building with multiple lounge rooms, bathrooms, closets, and an eight-floor structure, then there's going to be some confusion for newbies. Like me, for instance! I got lost a few times, but one of the junior Pride Troopers guided me where to go. I'm now sitting on Jiren's bed, in his quarters, staring at the open window. Every time I stare at that window, I think to myself of home. My parents were the world to me. Even the universe, if I like to go that far. Without them, I feel empty with no purpose behind me. If only there was a purpose in becoming a Pride Trooper for me to continue being one.
That's when Jiren entered the quarters with his red and black Pride Trooper suit. God, the suit looks so tight on him! I know Jiren's been working out harder than I have, but damn! The suit looks like it's glued to his body! Er… W-What am I thinking about!? I shouldn't be thinking of how hot Jiren is under that Pride Trooper suit, Cherri! He walked up to me, while I spaced out a little. "Cherri? Top called me through the communicator, assigning us a mission. The mission today is to search for a drug dealer around Eastern Netfiss. It happens later tonight, so I want you to prepare yourself for the event. Also, Cherri, I want you to stay with me at all times. Top warned me not to worry about your priorities, but I told him that I don't worry that much. However, he said that I do worry without noticing. Are you getting all of this, Cherri?" said Jiren, as I stare into his abs, liking how the suit perfectly molds them. Each six-pack is so sculpted to the natural bone! "Cherri? Are you practicing meditation already? We haven't gotten there yet, since we're in the stage of practicing your touching method. Cherri?... Cherri?... Ugh, Cherri!" said Jiren, as he waves his big hand in front of my spacing face. I snapped out of it, staring upward at Jiren, who had his eyebrow raised questioningly, and I… nervously turned away from him. I told him that I heard what he said. Even though he wanted to question more about my spacing, Jiren left the quarters to grab us lunch from the cafeteria. After he left, I panicked to myself — almost losing my cool in front of Jiren! Why in the ever-loving hell would I stare into Jiren's abs, while he was describing the mission? Ah, maybe it's the fact that my feelings are growing out of me. As if they want me to express my love for an old friend from childhood. Sure, Jiren's body is hot and out-of-this-world, but that doesn't make me love him. Does it?
Eastern Netfiss (9 pm)...
Jiren's POV…
After getting everything ready for tonight's mission, I saw Cherri's expression of fear spreading. I understand how nervous she is on her first mission as a Pride Trooper, but this mission shouldn't be too hard. All we have to do is capture the drug dealer and arrest him at the Pride Trooper Police Department. Yes, there's a Pride Trooper Police Department. The only difference is that Police Departments aren't run by actual Pride Troopers. Normal police officers run the departments responsible for arresting low-life criminals around Netfiss. As Cherri and I walk down the sidewalks, neon lights cover the streets in their vibrant colors. I truly don't understand why neon signs, stores opening until midnight, or people growing drunk later at night would be a casual thing. Top told me that people just go out at night because it's easier for them. Everyone has a routine to follow. However, when I asked the same thing to Dyspo, he said that men like to go see the hotties and drink their worries away. Ugh, that's Dyspo for you. Always saying the most obscure answers to standard questions. Cherri looks up, about to prepare a question. "Where should we analyze, Jiren? The drug dealer should be in a dark alleyway, or somewhere that's criminally gruesome. Would he?" said Cherri. She's right — drug dealers hide in the dark shadows, selling illegal drugs, consume themselves in greed, and do it again. That's the type of temptation that will kill a person if he or she doesn't properly use their money. Gladly, I know where potential drug dealers sell their stuff without the public knowing. Far away from the central Eastern Netfiss city is where the so-called "black market" is. The Black Market is an underground-ish area, where drug dealers, hidden criminals, or people desperate for soothing bliss — come to buy what they need. Weapons classified by the Netfiss Government, drugs from other planets, but banned from others, and so much more. I warned Cherri to not talk to any one of those criminals. We're looking for a lanky six-foot man in a dark gray sweat jacket, denim jeans, and a hoodie covering most of his head. Cherri nods, but I grabbed her, once she began walking into the alleyway.
"We need disguises, Cherri. Fortunately, Top gave you and me some proper disguises before we left headquarters. And use your touching method to have a better chance of blending in. Pretend that I'm your twin brother. Alright?" I said as I gave Cherri a dark blue sweat jacket, while I place a black sweat jacket over my head. Once our jackets were on, Cherri removed her protective gloves. Those gloves were made by Dr. Shocks, capable of allowing Cherri to remove them, in case a mission would occur. Cherri quickly touches me, forming blue aura around her arm. It soon spreads throughout her entire body, as blue smoke would later cover Cherri. The smoke was strong, but not a bother to me, as I swat it away from view. After the smoke disappears, Cherri is now… well, me. The jacket stayed in place, as the fabric stretched to make sure Cherri still had some clothes on. Cherri's suit is the same issue, as its material is strong enough to withstand growing transformations. The bad news from it is the suit's tightness increases. "The suit's tightness is starting to give me a rash, Jiren. Maybe we should have thought of another idea. One that didn't involve my mimicry abilities" said Cherri in my voice, of all vocal tones. I told her that mimicry is a great skill to use in this situation. With mimicry, Cherri and I don't get caught by surrounding criminals, and we don't lose each other. Cherri becomes confused by the last part. God, seeing myself raise an eyebrow is completely off. "If you get lost, then increase your ki. I'll be able to track you through the crowd. These criminals don't know a damn about ki sense, so you'll be fine for the most part. Got it, Cherri?" I said to her. Cherri nods with a smile, which makes the scene more awkward to bear. After that, we went our separate ways, beginning the mission. Top saying I'm too worried over Cherri's overall safety — Hmph! I'm only teaching her how to prepare for any danger. There's no lustful tension between me and Cherri. I-Is there?
10 pm (One Hour Later)...
Cherri's POV
It's been an hour and no sign of the lanky drug dealer yet. Ah, these powers aren't the greatest skill to have, but if you're an inexperienced fighter, like me, then these powers aren't the best skills to practice in public. I witness it when Jiren and I met for the first time in twenty years. Kept thinking about Jiren, thus activating the thought method, which allows me to transform into the very person I thought about. Well, the good news is that I kept my voice, while in that person's form, so it was not an awkward situation. However, continuing to think of that very person is awkward enough! As I stroll through the many drug dealers – both small and big — I think of what Jiren's been doing. After I joined the Pride Troopers, that is. Now, this might come up later, but I believe that Jiren's growing more concerned about me. Sure, I'm not the best fighter around, but I'm not that dumb either. Intelligence under the Business Corporation has kept me in check over what I know what's right and what's wrong. Despite my intelligence, Jiren won't allow me to go on solo missions all by myself. Why? Because he promised to teach me how to control my mimicry. Until I'm ready to go out and experience the world with these powers, I have to deal with Jiren being on these certain types of missions. Speaking of Jiren, I wonder where he is. One advantage of being "Jiren", is his height. He's practically taller than the surrounding criminals, so finding him wouldn't be a problem for me. I turn left and right, trying to find Jiren's black hoodie. I do see a black hoodie, but the individual turns around to reveal a muscular peach-skinned man. Jiren must be somewhere else for the time being. While he searches the other main areas in this black market, I'll search on the opposite.
More minutes pass by and still no lanky drug dealer. I'm beginning to think that Jiren's lying. About the mission. Maybe he's testing me on how prepared I am for a mission. Yeah, that's it! This is all just a little test to see if I'm ready for an actual mission. Jiren is smart enough to not tell the truth, but… he could feel guilty about keeping a lie for a long time. Perhaps when this test is over, Jiren'll tell the truth about the mission being a fake. While I was pondering over the fake mission theory, someone tugs my arm. I turned, seeing a six-foot man with a dark grey sweat jacket. His green eyes shine through the shadows under his hoodie, along with some strands of blonde hair. "Missin' dude?" said the man in his raspy voice. I told him that I'm not lost. Just wandering about. The man removes his hoodie, revealing a full head of smooth, blonde hair. He also has light skin, which appears to have faded a little. Probably from the many drugs around the black market. The man says that in the black market, any criminal can get the best tools for their next plan. I was about to ask him questions, but he interrupted me by pulling out a switchblade. W-What the hell!? "I know you're one of those Pride Trooper freaks! They've been ruining my plans in selling the best drugs across Netfiss for weeks! Now, follow me to where we can… be alone. Move!" said the man, as he points the blade close to my non-breasted chest. Oh, saying it is awkward. I followed his directions, as we walked through the crowd, until eventually landing in a darkened spot. The man explains that his next client is waiting for him, so he better make this meeting quick. And by meeting, I'm guessing he's going to kill me! I remembered what Jiren said about ki sense, so I slightly increased my ki — signaling Jiren to come, and save me!
Me… Me… Me…
Jiren's POV
"Huh?... Cherri? Oh, crap!" I said, as a short, but sensible ki appears on the far right from where I'm standing. Cherri's in trouble, and I have to get to her. Using my super speed, I passed the crowd, reaching where the two were. The drug dealer's weapon almost touches Cherri's neck… or my neck? Dammit, I'm losing focus! I yelled at the man to drop his weapon. He turned around, seeing me. This confuses him, as Cherri and I look identical. Instantly grabbing the crook, I told Cherri to call headquarters, while escaping the black market. We might as well arrest the other criminals in this area, while we have the drug dealer. Cherri transforms back to her normal form, causing the blue smoke to cover the small black area. This is perfect because no one can see the quick beatdown I laid upon the drug dealer. Cherri runs out of the area, out of the market, and called headquarters. A few minutes later, the police department arrested all surrounding criminals, including the drug dealer. He was pretty beaten up, but I didn't add too much pressure to those punches. While the police department takes care of the criminals, I walk over to Cherri. Ah, I think it's about time she knows the truth. She stares up at me, I took a deep breath in and exhaled. This is going to be 100% off-putting for both of us. "Cherri? I have to tell you something important. The mission we did tonight was-" I said, as Cherri interrupted me. "I know, Jiren. This mission isn't real. You made it up so that you can test me on how ready I was. It proves that I need more awareness to defend myself. If I didn't use that ki sense to call you, then that blade would have slit my throat right open! Hahaha!" Cherri said with a confident smile.
"Cherri… Top specifically called me to do the mission alone, but after some thought, I decided to bring you with me. The reason why I bought you on the mission was that your mimicry would better disguise me through the crowd of criminal junkies. It sort of worked, but in the end, we were able to arrest him. Are you okay, Cherri?" I said as I looked at Cherri's dumbfounded expression. I can understand why she would be surprised by the information I told her. Instead of slapping me in the face, Cherri chuckles. She said that she knew I would be lying, but not what she predicted. "Either way, the mission got completed, Jiren. I'm not mad, just surprised that you were so not worried about my safety. Were you, Jiren?" Cherri said. That question left me dumbfounded as well. I can't find a proper answer to it. All I could do is feel my cheeks growing hot and rosy from Cherri's smile, laughter, and that question. I shook it off, saying to Cherri that we should get going. Tomorrow will be another day with more missions. Maybe I'll ask Top to have Cherri on a mission. One that's easy for her to follow and not use her powers. We left the scene, flying back to headquarters. Since Cherri still can't fly, she had to ride on my back. I'll try not to fly too fast because Cherri's strength isn't the highest on the team. I still remember the incident, where Cherri almost fell off my back, because we were chasing a criminal on a hoverboard. That mistake will never come up again.
The end
