The redhead looked up from his book, a brow quirked as a ghost of a smirk curled his lips. Quickly wiped clean he pretended to ignore Kudou once again all the while sneaking glances. There's something sweet and almost kind... He snorted quietly, brows drawing together and he grumbled quietly. But he was mean and he was course and unrefined. Amethyst orbs narrowed, focusing furiously upon the book in hand, eyes reading the same sentence several times before he looked up once again, glancing at Youji. Now he's dear, and I'm so sure he smiled faintly once again, eyes lowering to his book to stare at it, totally unconcerned as to if he had turned the page in the previous hour, too concerned with sorting himself out and watching his teammate. I wonder why I didn't see it there before...
Youji looked up from his cooking, the usual grin curling his lips as he hummed slightly off tune between small bursts of song He glanced this way, I thought I saw... The smile widened into a grin as he walked over in the midst of his cooking to rest a hand on the redhead's shoulder to glance at the page as he had been doing at uneven intervals throughout the previous hour...Aya was still on the same page. With a repressed cackle and giggle he bounded over to the kitchen once again. When we touched he didn't shutter at my paw... He sighed quietly, looking over to see the redhead frown and grumble No, it can't be...I'll just ignore... he sighed quietly, absintly pushing a hand through his hair before he chanced a glance back; jade and amethyst nearly coliding as Aya's quickly pulled awayBut then he's never looked at me that way before...
As eyes shied away he smiled softly. New, and a bit alarming. Letting go of his book to yank slightly at an eartail, fingertips toying with his earring before he let go and squirmed down a bit more into the couch Who'd have ever thought that this could be He looked up to watch Youji dancing about around the dining table and almost laughed True that he's no Prince Charming...but there's something in him that I simply didn't see. Repressing a chuckle, he ducked his head down lower, unaware that he'd perched himself up to be able to watch the man more clearly. Nearly hiding behind his book he smiled, a soft true smile.
From the stairs Omi and Ken sat watching, whispering to each other. "Well, who'd have thought?" Ken muttered to the blond, shaking his head as he repressed a laugh.
"Well bless my soul..." muttered Omi, giggling quietly as he leaned against his friend, head tilting up as a grin split his lips "Who'd have known"
"Well, who indeed? Who'd have guessed they'd come together on their own?" The brunet scratched the back of his neck, shaking his head as he bit back a full out laugh.
"It's so peculiar, we'll wait and see." the boy muttered to Ken, chewing happily on his lower lip to try to hold back the full grin.
"Hai, we'll wait and see"
"A few days more"
The two of them turned to look at each other and grinned broadly "There may be something there that wasn't there before." And with that, they turned, running up to the practice room to fall into fits of laughter, arms around their bellies.
