The most psychotic story…EVER!
By Kelsey and Emily
Disclaimer: We do not own Spirited Away…dang it!
A/N: Well…there really is no excuse for this madness.
It was wonderfully sunny day, the air was cool and clean. The sun hung high overhead in the bright cerulean sky. The mountains were lush and green. The only sounds that could be heard were birds and the crunching of gravel underneath hiking boots.
Until, "Kelsey!" a shrill voice came and broke the silence.
"Emily!" another loud voice answered back. Two girls, both fairly tall and with blond hair, ran towards each other. One of them had her long dark blonde hair in a braid and the other one had her lighter blonde hair in a ponytail. The hugged and smiled at each other, happy to see each other again. You can tell that they are both very, very…hyper!
And now the journey begins…
Emily and Kelsey started to hike up the mountain. They had planned this hiking trip for fun; they needed to get away from their parents. They were ready with backpacks full of food (and cough pixi sticks cough), water and other stuff. They were talking and laughing and truth be told, not really looking where they were going.
Their arms were linked so when one of the tripped…they both did. Luckily they fell into a ditch that was covered with soft grass and moss. A small stream ran through it and, knowing Kelsey and Emily, they were both spastic and unlucky so they landed on the edge of the water and…got wet.
Despite their interesting situation, they were both laughing about what klutzes they were. Kelsey got up and held her hand out to help Emily up. Emily stood and they looked around. The sunlight was streaming through the trees and the streaming was laughing softly.
"I don't think I've seen this place before…" said Kelsey. They both looked confused and looked around.
"Neither have I," replied Emily.
Kelsey shrugged and asked, "So…you want to look around?" Emily nodded and they started to walk. They walked along the stream and it was strangely quiet. Emily was looking to the sides and Kelsey stopped.
"Hey Emily?" Kelsey called, sounding confused.
"What Kels?" Emily answered back.
"Come over here," Kelsey motioned. Emily walked over and looked at what Kelsey was staring at. It was a small, squat, kind of ugly statue covered in green moss.
"Hey Emily," Kelsey started still sounding confused, "does that look familiar to you?" Emily nodded; it looked strangely like the statue from 'Spirited Away.' A smile spread slowly across Kelsey's face.
"Hey Emily…want to see if we can find a tunnel?" Kelsey asked.
"And a hot dragon?" Emily replied. Both girls squealed and started to run forward. They ran following the stream and came to a cave. They could see a small ray of light if they looked hard enough.
"So," began Kelsey, "you think this might be the gateway?" Emily looked at her and nodded. They cautiously walked into the cave, sticking close together. They tripped at least three times each, still laughing. They reached the other side and were greeted with a familiar sight. A green grassy field littered with small statues lay ahead of them.
"How cool!" they both said jumping up and down. They reached into their packs and brought out trail bars (cough pixi sticks cough) and ate them. Suddenly they were both very hyper again and ran up the hill.
AND NOW…EMILY SHALL WRITE!
