I know it's been a while since I last posted. Don't worry, I'm still working on Over The Hedge: A New Perspective. I will post a Christmas FanFiction story on Kung Fu Panda sometime this month.
I believed that some of you have heard that there will be a Kung Fu Panda 4 coming out in 2024. I'm really excited about it. There's also another TV Show on Kung Fu Panda, it's called The Dragon Knight (which is available to watch on Netflix), the show takes place after Kung Fu Panda 3 and Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny (which is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video). I haven't got to watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever yet, so I will have to wait until it's on Disney Plus. It's just sad that Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020) won't portray Prince T'Challa/Black Panther for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. He will be missed by his fans. Wakanda Forever.

Chapter 3
Jinjing went to Yue's house and saw her standing in the garden. Yue saw her, walked towards her, and hugged her while Jinjing hugged her back.
"Hey, it's good to see you," Yue said.
"It's great to see you too, Yue," Jinjing said.
"Do you want to come inside so we can talk?" Yue asked.
"Sure," Jinjing responded as they went inside. They sat down in the dining room where Yue put on a pot of tea and then she sat next to Jinjing.
"So, how are you since I last saw you?" Yue asked.
"I've been okay, except, I've been having nightmares," Jinjing responded.
"Wait, when did you start having those nightmares," Yue asked.
"I've been having them since sometime after Po defeated Tai Lung," Jinjing responded.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Jinjing, that must've been awful,"
"Thanks, Yue, I've been having the same nightmare every night and I'm afraid that he might come back and kill me, Shifu, and Po," Jinjing said as tears welled up in her eyes. Yue gets up from her seat and hugged the red panda.
"It's okay, Tai Lung's gone, he's not coming back," Yue said softly. The tea kettle whistled. She got up to pour the chamomile tea for her and Jinjing. She takes the cups and gives one to her.
"Thanks," Jinjing said before taking a sip.
"You're welcome,"
"I also want to talk to you about something,"
"Is there something going on?" Yue asked.
"We're fighting those bandits,"
"The ones who attacked the Musician's village?" Yue asked again.
"Yes, anyway, their boss said something about Longwei's child, and I want to know who Longwei is," Jinjing explained. Yue sighed.
"Alright, I'll tell you what I know. It started out a day in the Valley of Peace," Yue said.
FLASH! It was a calm, sunny day at the Valley of Peace, Yue was walking home from work at the children's hospital. Then, she saw Dongmei. She walks up to her.
"Hi, are you okay?" Yue asked.
"Um, uh, no, I'm not okay. I lost the love of my life, and I don't know what else to do besides go talk to my brother," Dongmei said.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I will help you find your brother. What's your brother's name?" Yue said.
"My brother's name is Shifu," Dongmei said.
"Oh, I heard of Shifu. I will take you to him,"
"Thank you,"
Dongmei and Yue walked to the Jade Palace.
"So, who are you?" Yue said.
"My name is Dongmei, and you are?" Dongmei introduced herself.
"I'm Yue," Yue said. By the time they got to the Jade Palace, they saw Oogway (A/N) and Shifu.
"Ah, may we help you, young ladies?" Oogway asked.
"Wait a minute, Dongmei, is that you?" Shifu asked.
"Yes, it's me," Dongmei responded. The red pandas walked up and gave each other a hug.
"Well, why don't we all come inside and talk," Oogway said.
"Yes, please,"
Oogway, Shifu, Dongmei, and Yue went inside.
"So, what happened when you were in China? Because the last time I heard from you is that you married Longwei and that you two are having a child," Shifu said.
"It's a lot hard to explain, but our home was broken into, and Longwei told me to run, not to look back, and I saw the bandits murder him," Dongmei said with tears welled in her eyes. Yue looked at her with sadness and remorse.
"I'm so sorry for your loss, dear one," Oogway said.
"Thank you, Master Oogway," Dongmei said.
"Why were the bandits after you guys?" Yue asked.
"They're after us because they want to murder my child. I want to protect him or her from people like them," Dongmei said.
"We'll protect you and the child," Shifu said.
"I have an idea. Dongmei can come to stay with me and the child will be raised by the people who love him or her,"
"That is an excellent idea, Yue. Do you work in a hospital?" Oogway said.
"Yes, I work at the children's hospital here in the Valley. I'll make sure that Dongmei and the child are happy and healthy under my care,"
"Thank you for taking my sister in, Yue," Shifu said.
"Oh, you're welcome," Yue said.
Dongmei, Yue, Shifu, and Oogway said their goodbyes before the girls left and went back to Yue's house. FLASHES BACK TO THE PRESENT
"So, you see, sweetie, not only your uncle is protecting you during your childhood, Oogway did and so did I," Yue said.
"That's all you know about my father?" Jinjing asked.
"Yes, I really don't know your father that well, but I can tell you that he was a great man," Yue responded.
"I need to know more about him. You did say that he lived in China, right?" Jinjing said.
"Yes, he did," Yue said.
"Okay, thanks for the tea, Yue, I'll see you later," Jinjing said as she and Yue got out of their seats.
"You're welcome, dear," Yue and Jinjing hugged each other before Jinjing left.
Author's Note: I thought that I could add Oogway to some of the flashbacks to the story and it just fits nicely
Well, we got to find out how Dongmei got to the Valley of Peace and how she met Yue. We will find out more about Longwei later on as the story goes on.
