An ordinary adult got out of bed and yawned. She scratched her back and stretched. Suddenly her phone rang. She walked downstairs and answered with another yawn, "Hello?" "Is this Mushi Sanban?" Mushi answered, "Yeah who is this?" The man laughed, "Mushi! How could you not remember your own papa?" Mushi laughed, "Sorry dad I didn't know." Suddenly Kani sounded sad, "Well I'm afraid I have some bad news…"
Mushi was suddenly concerned, "What happened?" Kani was unsure what to say, "Well….our little Kuki seems to have…umm…"Mushi gasped, "She didn't." Kani started crying, "She did…" Mushi started sniffling, "Oh I-I see…What about…" Kani answered, "Well Wallabee isn't really taking it well either….He's hasn't left his house in 3 days." Mushi started getting dressed, "I've got to help him! Well uhh…when's the…."
Kani started hyperventilating from crying so much, "T-T-T-The funeral? Tomorrow…at 9:30am…In her will she wanted us to wear at least one thing that's either green or orange…her and her husband's favorite color…" Mushi tried to smile, "Oh right…I'd better go see brother-in-law Wally to see if he's ok…" Mushi got on a jacket and walked outside. The first snow of December.
Mushi walked over to Wally's house and rang the doorbell, "Wally? It's me Mushi…" No answer. Mushi looked thru the window and saw Wally raising a knife to his throat. Mushi's eyes widened, "WALLY! DON'T DO IT!" Wally dropped the knife, standing as cold as death. He slowly turned his head and looked at Mushi and fell on the floor, bursting into tears.
Mushi burst thru the door and ran over to Wally. She took off her jacket and put it on him, "It's ok…It's ok…" She chanted. Wally looked up at her, his green eyes streaming with tears, "Thanks Mushi." Mushi smiled, "Don't mention it." Her eyes glistened. Wally wipe his eyes, "I just…I just can't live without her!" He started crying again.
Wally looked up at Mushi again, "I..I just can't believe she died…." Mushi started sniffling stop talking about her…you're making ME cry." Wally wiped his eyes and laughed, "Fine." Mushi held out a hand, "Come on, let's go take a walk." Wally took her hand and got up, "Sure."
Mushi and Wally walked and talked for what seemed hours. Mushi looked at her watch, "Well, I better be going, gottta go shopping for…well…you know." Wally lowered his head, "Oh yeah…that." Mushi walked off, "See ya tomorrow." Wally nodded, "Yeah. See ya."
Well there's chappie one. Next chappie…the sniffle funeral. Well review…
