Delia of Eldorne smiled thinly. All these men –these foolish, foolish men- thought that they had power. They thought that their words held power. An ironic laugh escaped her throat.
The ability to stop words, stop thought, create… love. That was power. As surely as they controlled the kingdom, she controlled them, and the kingdom through them. Best of all, they didn't know. They had never tasted a woman's power, the power to create lust and love simply by walking a certain way or smiling a certain smile.
No… Jon and his followers did not know how true power tasted, no matter what they thought.
