[Paldea Region: Nemona's House]
Jaune follwed Nemona a few minutes later an soon found himself standing in what could be described as a private beach as it appeared that Nemona's house was the only way to access said Beach.
'Just how rich are her parents?' thought Jaune, wondering how Nemona and her family can afford such a nice house with a private beach.
Her parents must be amazing people as well and Nemona isn't so bad since she's the student council president of Uva Academy.
"Jaune, over here!"shouted Nemona, getting the young man's attention as he turned to see that she was standing on what could be described as a battlefield.
"Makes sense."said Jaune, suspecting that the girl must have trained on this private battlefield a lot since she clearly likes Pokemon battles alot
"Jaune, I'm so glad I get to be your first opponent for your first official Pokemon battle. Now who should I use against your Quaxly?"asked Nemona with a smile, wondering which one of her partners she should use against Jaune and his duckling Pokemon.
"A moment, Miss Nemona!"said Mr Clavell, getting both of his students attention.
"Master Jaune has only recently become a Pokemon trainer so I recommend that you don't use one of your usual partners as you will have an unfair advantage against him."said Mr Clavell, knowing that Nemona tended to go overboard, especially when she was excited.
"Oh, that's right. Sorry, I kind of forgot it since I was so excited for a Pokemon battle."said Nemona, as she admitted that she was too excited.
"I better use the new partner I recently got in order to give Jaune a fair chance."said Nemona, before she made her way to the opposite side of the field.
"I guess I better take my position as well."said Jaune, before he made his way to the opposite side of the field.
"Fuecoco! Come on out!"said Nemona, before she poorly threw her pokeball.
"Nemona..."said Jaune, noticing that that throw was amateur at best.
"Sorry, I'm great at pokémon battles but I stink when it comes to throwing pokeballs."said Nemona, just as Fuecoco came out of his pokeball.
"Fue!"said the fire croc Pokemon as it was ready for battle!
"Quaxly, I choose You!"said Jaune, before using his years of baseball practice to throw the poké ball properly and allowed the duckling Pokemon to come out of his pokeball successfully.
"Quax!"said the duckling pokemon as he faced his opponent.
"I'll let you have ghe first move!"said Nemona, deciding to give her new friend the first move.
"Thbak you. Um...Use pound, Quaxly!"said Jaune, as the talking Pokemon quickly ran towards the fire croc pokémon as fast as he could before he struck said Pokemon with his wing!
"Coco!"said the fire croc Pokemon as it was pushed back.
"Nice! I see that Quaxly is a very fast Pokemon. Now take this! Fuecoco, use tackle!"ordered Nemona, causing Fuecoco to quickly run towards the duckling Pokemon and tackle him, causing damage!
"Quaxly!"exclaimed the duckling Pokemon as he was pushed to his trainer's side of the field.
"Use water gun!"said Jaune, hoping that the duckling pokémon knew that move, as he wasn't sure...
Luckily for Jaune, the duckling pokémon indeed new water gun as it fired a blast of water from its mouth towards Fuecoco, causing super effective damage to the fire croc pokémon as soon as it connected!
"Fuecoco!"exclaimed the fire croc Pokemon, as water type of tax was super effective as he was a fire type.
"I see you have been doing your Pokemon basics 101! Fire is weak to water so it's a good idea to use water type moves against fire type Pokemon."said Nemona, who was impressed.
"That is nothing! I have been studying with Miss Martinez non-stop since I came to Paldea! So I know a thing or two when it comes to battling even though this is my first time using a Pokemon!"said Jaune, as he knew he couldn't back down as that would be an insult to Nemona!
He had to give it his all and show this more experienced Pokemon trainer that he shouldn't be underestimated under any circumstance!
"Awesome! I knew you and me and can be friends as we are on the same page! Now let's see what you can throw at me! Fuecoco, use ember!"ordered Nemona, causing the fire croc Pokemon to fire a blast a flame from his mouth towards Quaxly!
"Dodge and use water gun!"ordered Jaune, before the duckling Pokemon jumped out of the way as soon as he heard his trainer's commands!
Quaxly then followed up by blasting another blast of water gun from his beak, sending the blast of water towards the fire truck Pokemon and doing massive amounts of damage as soon as Fuecoco was struck!
"Now use pound!"ordered Jaune, causing the duckling Pokemon to run towards the opening he had made for himself before striking the firecrop Pokemon with pound!
This did a lot of damage as the firecrack pokémon was knocked to his trainer's side of the field, revealing that he had been knocked out from the continuous attacks!
"Fuecoco is unable to battle, meaning that the battle belongs to Jaune and Quaxly!"declared Mr Clavell, just as Jaune stared at the knocked out fire croc Pokemon in disbelief.
"I can't believe I actually won... I mean that we actually won."said Jaune, as he honestly couldn't believe it.
Quaxly was caught off guard by the same thing as his beak was as open as possible before he quickly adjusted himself and began moving his wings through his pompadour, trying to act like he knew the end result from the first place well still looking like he was cool...
"I think I got a partner who is a bit of an intention hog."said Jaune, as Quaxly look like he was particularly concerned about his appearance.
"You did an amazing job out there, Fuecoco. It is not your fault that you lost as it's only our first battle together so we're a little off, but I'm sure the next time will be different so take a nice long rest."said Nemona as she recalled the fire croc Pokemon back to his pokeball.
"Jaune! That was so awesome! I can't believe how in sync your pokémon are with you even though this is your first time using Quaxly! I'm so amazed that you were amazing out there! And commanding Quaxly to use water gun to spite not knowing if he could use water gun was a bold move that I can definitely get behind! Oh, can we have another Pokemon battle, please!"said Nemona as she ran towards Jaune and got in his face with her request.
'She's so close!' thought Jaune nervously, as he wasn't used to a girl getting so close to him, and it didn't help that she smelled kind of good.
"Miss Nemona, I know you're excited but please calm down. Jaune and Quaxly only just had a battle with you so I'm sure they're exhausted."said Mr Clavell, trying to be the voice of reason between his students.
"Oh yeah...Sorry Jaune and Quaxly. I tend to get a bit overexcited and it gets the better of me sometime."apologized Nemona earnestly.
"It's okay. Quaxly and I will be happy to fight you another time!"said Jaune with a smile.
"Oh, they will definitely be a next time as I have a feeling you were going to be an interesting rival and friend, Jaune Arc."said Nemona with a matching smile.
"I'm glad that you two could be such good friends despite having just met. It shows that anything is possible with pokémon by people's side."said Mr Clavell, who is glad that his students are getting along.
"Oh, before I forget you might want to have the Pokedex app add it to your phone, Jaune."said Nemona, confusing Jaune.
"Pokedex app?"asked Jaune.
"It is a neat feature that was created by our home room teacher, Mr Jacq. He created an app where your rotom phone can access a network known as the Pokedex. The Pokedex is basically an archival information of Pokemon that will give you not only the type of Pokemon you're encountering, but also a bit of information you might want to know about said Pokemon."explained Nemona.
"Wow!"said Jaune, as that app sounded impressive.
"Here, allow me to see your rotom phone for a sec."said Nemona, as Jaune and her rotom phones came out of their pockets and faced with another for a few seconds.
"Woah!"
"This is the hands-free feature."said Nemona, as her rotom phone gave Jaune's rotom phone the Pokedex app.
"Man, the amazing technology we live with today."said Jaune, as he took his rotom phone and began checking out the Pokedex app.
Which was ironically categorized like it was a library, filled with all kinds of information about Pokemon.
"Thanks Nemona."said Jaune, as he was sure this pokedex app with surely help him out on his journey to find Mew.
"No problem, that is what friends are for."said Nemona with a smile.
"Well then, Miss Nemona. I still have things to discuss with your parents so I will catch up with you to later at school. For now I suggest you take poco path to get to Los Platos, that we'll get you straight to the school as fast as possible."said Mr Clavell, before he walked away so he could discuss what he needed to discuss with Nemona's parents.
"Mr Clavell sure is nice."said Jaune, as he would never have expected the director of Uva Academy to personally come to Miss Martinez's house to hand her the documents needed to enroll Jaune to set Academy.
Much let's give him a Pokemon for his journey.
"Come on, Jaune! Let's head to school before the bell rings!"said Nemona, before she grabbed Jaune's hand and began dragging him along
"Nemona, I can walk!"said Jaune, but his words fell on deaf ears.
"Jaune! Nemona!"said Miss Martinez, who had been waiting for Jaune at the front gate.
"My, my, Jaune. I didn't know you already got that close to our neighbor."said Miss Martinez, causing Nemona to look at what she was implying before noticing that she was holding Jaune's hand.
"No, it's not like that!"said Jaune and Nemona in unison with blushing faces.
"Hehehehe, I'm only teasing. I just came to give Jaune his lunch for school as he will be staying in the dorm rooms from now on and I can't cook for him for a while so I decided to bring him a delicious looking submarine sandwich."said Miss Martinez says she handed Jaune a submarine sandwich.
"Thank you, Miss Martinez."said Jaune, ever thankful to the lady who had given him so much when she didn't have to.
"Think nothing about it. Now go out there and enjoy yourself at Uva Academy."said Miss Martinez as Nemona and Jaune began making their way to Poco Path.
"Those two would make such a great couple."said Miss Martinez, having a feeling that Jaune and Nemona won't stay just friends forever.
She calls at her women's intuition.
"So... do you want to try to catch some Pokemon? I have some extra pokeballs so you can have some..."said Nemona, before she handed Jaune some pokeballs nervously.
"Um...thanks..."said Jaune, internally thanking Miss Martinez sarcastically as because of her comment she has now made it awkward between them.
Luckily the awkward silence was broken by the sound of some kind of creature letting out a loud cry!
"Mirai!"said the cry, making the nearby fletchlings flea in terror.
"What was that?"asked Nemona, wondering where that noise was coming from.
"I don't know, but we better check it out as it could be some Pokemon that's hurt."said Jaune, feeling like some Pokemon could need help.
And also being an excuse necessary to break the awkward silence between the two new friends.
"Let's go!"said Nemona, as she and Jaune began looking around for any clue as to what or who was making that noise!

[After having his first Pokemon battle against his new friend, Nemona, Jaune Arc manage to be the one who won in the end thanks to his partner Pokemon, Quaxly. Now as Jaune and Nemona head to Uva Academy, they hear a strange noise coming from somewhere nearby and decide to investigate. Will the pair be able to investigate and find out what is making that noise? Only time will tell as the journey continues]
