Chapter 3: The Sea Is Watching
Midoriya Izuku had one goal in his life.
Simple, pure and straightforward, all he ever wanted was to be a hero.
With that said how did one start off being a hero? A good hero at that? Well, he was right there.
Running through the hallways of his dream school, the one place he always yearned to get in despite of his initial state and circumstances; the school for heroes, U.A. At last, now he was here.
Now, if only the school wasn't so huge he could've just reached his classroom and be seated but here he was, running around trying to find his classroom. He wondered if he would ever find it before homeroom started, if there even was one.
"FUCKinG EXtRAAAS!"
And he found it, Izuku inwardly sighed at his luck.
He heard the familiar voice shout from a certain doorway and as he entered he had to take a deep breath. 'Just my luck!!'
Love him or hate him, his childhood friend, one Bakugō Katsuki, was here as well. Izuku let out a sigh at that, it was always a bad idea to get into the focus of his childhood friend that he called 'Kacchan' enduringly many years ago. He did still but could he ever say it out loud unlike before? Of course, not.
It wasn't a surprise to be fair. Katsuki had a really powerful quirk. A tad bit destructive and flashy but that was just common within the type of quirk category it belonged to. Endeavour's flames could very well fry people out but he was still the number two hero of the country, no questions asked. He remembered back to when Katsuki had confronted him when they had gone to their school to inform the teachers of their selections.
The teachers were pretty shocked to hear that Izuku, of all people, had been selected as well from the school but they had encouraged both of them in a rare display of affection.
"….it seems two students from our school got in. Izuku's acceptance is a very huge surprise but nevertheless we are proud of you both…."
Subsequently, Katsuki had cornered Izuku in a tight place after their meeting but in a rare form of his own courage exploding out, Izuku had told Katsuki to his face that he was headed to Yūei as well and there was nothing Katsuki could do to him that would stop him. Katsuki had gritted his teeth and walked off.
'Same old Kacchan. Never satisfied' Izuku sighed in his thoughts.
He saw him banter with the glasses wearing student who had reprimanded him for his mutterings during the entrance exams and as soon as Izuku himself stepped in class with a nervous rattle, he had come into focus of that very same student. Eyes focused on him the boy had stopped his verbal disagreements with Katsuki and turned. Approaching Izuku, the boy introduced himself as Iida Tenya and as he came into focus Katsuki had risen from his seat.
Advancing fast as he came near Izuku, Katsuki gritted out, "I told you to not show your face and you still came huh?!"
Tenya had a shocked look on his face as the entirety of the class had now begun to look into their conversation. Izuku felt trapped again. He was never good with crowds and now with Katsuki breathing down his neck along with the whole class focusing on him, his nerves were catching up to him even more with all of those eyes over them.
"Hey, what the hell are you talking about?" the voice of Tenya interrupted when Katsuki rebuffed him.
"This is none of your business glasses! Get out of here!"
Katsuki focused back on Izuku and continued, "I told you, you should look out for somewhere else. This is my place to rise! Your admission looks to be a fluke! I will NOT be accepting it!"
Izuku's hands trembled at the accusations as even though he had listened to his childhood friend scream down his ears since he could remember it still didn't jitter the nerves away every time Katsuki opened his vile mouth. Katsuki had always been a bane for him ever since his status was revealed in a young age of being quirkless.
Izuku sucked in his lips as he steadied himself and breathed in. Katsuki was now in a midst of arguing with the glass boy Tenya when another voice then rang out amidst the various ramblings and shouting of his childhood friend, interrupting him.
"Oy, you're too loud. Tone down your voice"
The sync'ed up turn of heads that happened at that very moment was totally a scene out of an anime as the focus of the class, even Izuku's, honed in on the student in question who spoke up.
Seated in the third row's last bench, the one who spoke seemed to be another student if the uniform was anything to go by. The boy had bright orange hair which was really interesting as Izuku remembered seeing only one other person having the same colored hair during the entrance exams but not as bright. But in a sense, when he looked at the class, everyone had unique and great hair if he was being truthful minus his own shaggy hairdo which never seemed to settle.
Izuku saw the boy's scowl increase as Katsuki got even more enraged at seemingly being "talked down". Typical Katsuki, it seemed. Never could handle any backtalk. Katsuki was just too used to being seen as someone unbeatable.
"You saying something orangehead?!" aah yes, typical Katsuki response. The whole class watched as Katsuki forgot about Tenya and walked slowly towards the seated boy, his palms sparking erratically. Izuku's eyes narrowed but he was too nervous to speak out.
"You want a beatdown?! Huh?!" Katsuki screamed at the face of the boy with a small explosion that rang at his right palms.
Izuku saw the boy's eyes narrow at the blatant taunt and quirk display by Katsuki. Before he could witness more another voice interrupted that shocked him out of his focus.
"Umm, Oh! It's you! Curly-haired kid!!"
Straightening up at once in silent shock Izuku turned around and came face to face with a familiar visage he had seen before in the start of the exams. A cute round face with round auburn brown eyes with thick eyelashes, hair shoulder-length and about the same color as her eyes curved inwards in a bob. She wore the standard female uniform with knee high socks as she walked in carrying her backpack with a smile.
"It really is you!" she exclaimed. "I'm so glad I found you" she sighed in relief. Izuku had just one thing going on his mind as his face slowly and surely turned crimson to the peak.
'It's that cute girl from the exams and she looks so good in the uniform!!'
The girl walked inside and then started, "You made it just like you said you would!! Also sir Present Mic vouched for you as well!! Yoohoo! Go you!" the excitement of the girl had permeated amongst the class as almost everyone looked at the various shenanigans afoot. Waving her hands around as if fictionally imitating a punch, the girl kept talking about the punch she saw Izuku throw during the last moments of the exams. Izuku felt embarrassed as he desperately tried to calm the girl down and also try and minimise his own embarrassment.
With Katsuki, he couldn't believe that someone else acknowledged Izuku again. He narrowed his eyes at the scene on the door side again as Izuku and the girl chatted alongside Tenya. He remembered how Izuku had confronted and told him back how he, Katsuki, could do nothing to stop the quirkless boy from joining the hero school anymore. He turned his eyes towards the boy who had interrupted him before.
Back with Izuku he was being overwhelmed as the girl kept talking about the various exciting things they would be getting to experience in the coming years when his blessing came in the form of an interruption when someone spoke,
"Jeez, what a troublesome batch"
Again, comically enough the entire class' focus turned towards a big lump of black that wriggled and moved as it turned around to show a face that left the whole class baffled for a moment. The figure squirmed a bit as it proceeded to speak again whilst getting up along with the sleeping bag.
"If you're here to make buddies and be all sparkles then do it elsewhere. This is the department of heroics!"
Everyone in the class watched as the figure came in to view shedding the sleeping bag off like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon. The only thing that rang through the minds of the students as they witnessed the incident was curiosity over whatever or whoever it was that had emerged from the sleeping bag.
They saw the man that emerged was tall, pale-skinned a bit with shoulder-length black hair partially hanging in front of his face. His eyes looked tired with bags and had a messy beard as well. He sported a baggy black outfit that consisted of a full sleeve shirt and matching pants tucked into his boots. A scarf and a utility belt to finish off the look, all in all, he looked out of place but still menacing enough.
"Took you lot no more than five minutes to settle down" He spoke rather uncaringly as he continued, "If that's going to be the deal this year I don't know what to expect. You're all lacking in common sense.
Life is short kids, remember that"
At first the class had zero idea as to what was going on but when they focused back on the words spoken and the figure in front they couldn't help but wonder that could this lanky tall tired looking fellow was ironically their
'….Sensei?!!'
Izuku turned and looked at the figure as he wondered if he was a hero as well if he was their teacher to be. Izuku couldn't bring up a name of anyone from the hero association with this kind of looks and mannerism and he had prided himself in knowing all the current heroes.
"….and you lot in the back, stop all that nonsense and get seated" The figure had spoken breaking Izuku's train of thought. The figure then, seemingly ignoring the orange haired kid and Katsuki, said turning towards everyone in class,
"I am your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shōta. Pleasure meeting you kids"
'Homeroom teacher?!' had been the collective shock at the introduction.
They then watched Shōta shuffle around inside his sleeping bag and after a while he presented something blue in the first glance. As the class honed in on the object in hand they could pick it out to be a uniform of sorts.
"Wear these immediately and then proceed to the P.E grounds. Your uniforms are in your lockers. The keys are in your desks. Now shove off everyone!"
Izuku's mind circled around at the order thrown by their homeroom teacher as he could only wonder how tough it would be to become a hero. Izuku's heart longed for the day he would be able to show the world his worth. To be the best hero he could be.
Thus with an optimism in his heart, Izuku watched the retreating figure of their homeroom teacher as he, himself, walked to a class seat to settle down and do as been told after. The coming years were surely going to be enjoyable.
Right?
xx Class 1B xx
Raiden was on cloud nine, literally.
He had everything he could dream of at the present moment and that was solely why he was having a big goofy grin in his face as he watched the classroom and everyone around him. It was so exciting. U.A, it was time to roll round and rock on!
He was simultaneously snapped back to reality as a slap echoed in his head.
"Ow! What gives?!" Raizen turned around clutching his head to come face to face with a mop of orange hair.
"You were being weird to everyone with that expression. Again, can't you curb your excitement a little Den?!" said mop of orange hair grumbled at him with her own term of endearment for him.
Raiden looked at his so and so childhood friend, one Kendo Itsuka, as she looked back at him with a lingering gaze. Raiden pouted. "Jeez, I'm just in wonders, that's all, you know!" he stood up from his seat and proceeded to approach a hunky guy a few seats down. This was Tetsutetsu, if he remembered correctly, as he touched him.
"Still can't believe it dude" Raiden awed. "Almost fifteen years in and this place and you all feel surreal still" he saw Tetsutetsu slowly reel back from his hands, as he looked at Raiden with raised eyebrows. It was just not a few moments ago the gruffly built boy had his privacy interrupted all of sudden by the grinning boy touching him.
Tetsutetsu and Kirishima were two people Raiden really liked if he remembered correctly. They were good guys. Very straight forward and fun, Raiden had loved reading about them whenever they were in the panels.
Raiden was subsequently dragged off by Itsuka before he could continue with any of kind interaction as Tetsutetsu looked on with a weirded look on his face as he watched his fellow classmate drag the other one away.
Dumped back in his seat with Itsuka following suite right next to him Raiden grumbled, "C'mon Suku-chan lemme have some fuuuun! It's not every day you get to attend a hero school like U.A and meet fellow quirk students"
Rolling her eyes Itsuka replied, "You can't just go and invade people's privacy for that Den. You've been doing this since you entered the class!"
Oh yeah, can't blame Raiden for that. He had been a nuisance it seemed and Itsuka had caught him. Honestly, Raiden couldn't blame Itsuka if she felt he was being a little too pushy or intrusive. Raiden himself had slowly realized that he probably was a little bit more forceful in his way of expression but Raiden clearly didn't mean any harm. He was just too excitable and loved to interact, and sometimes some people really didn't like that he understood.
"Aaah, sorry Suku-chan. I was over-excited" Raiden admitted rubbing the back of his head. As soon as he had entered the classroom he first made a straight beeline towards Itsuka as soon as he saw her and gave her a tight hug that left her in a sputtering mess. After that he had jumped from one bench to other asking off random quirk based question as his eyes locked on any of the prominent features being rocked by his future classmates.
'Woah is your hair really vine-like. Do they really need constant care like growing plants?'
'You look like a cute mushroom. Is your quirk mushroom related?'
'Dude, are those teeth a mutation or part of your quirk?'
'BEASTBOY???!!!' said person was glomped if you wanted to know.
'Wait!! You're from China?!'
'Whaaaa!! You're from America?!'
'Are you the shadow or is the shadow you?'
'What the duck?! You split up!!!'
'You're a manga panel, holy crit!!!'
He was truly a lot more excited at the fact that he had been admitted to 1B. What were the odds of him being admitted there?
If one were to ask him of the different eccentricities in between the two classes, then he kind of had to give it to class 1B's really diverse cast which was new to him. If Raiden remembered the list of the class members correctly, aside from Fumikage and Koji, and Mezo to an extent, almost everyone in 1A were mostly normal in appearance. He remembered Mina, but she still at least looked like a normal girl with pink skin and horns, also we didn't need to talk about Hagakure. Whatever she was behind that invisibility will always be up for debate.
It was also prudent to say he didn't know about the cast of 1B so well so, he definitely loved the much diverse cast more when he first looked at everyone.
The fact also remained, that Raiden loved it that he was put in 1B as he wished because the students of this class were new to him and he didn't want to compete in the protagonist class. (' I'm good here dawg ')
His eyes went back to a Mohawk donning praying mantis look-alike student. (' He looks so freaking edge dude! ')
His gaze then shifted to other students around the class as well, like the walking manga panel he had met when he arrived at the class. (' He calls himself Manga as well! haha ')
There was also a student whose entire body was just black. (' I swear someone abroad is punching their face over why so much blackness ')
Unique was just putting it lightly, it was just pure reverence the way he looked around. As far as Raiden had remembered reading there wasn't much introduction of this class until the sports festival so it was with great elation he welcomed this new experience.
"You two are really close to each other it looks like~" chirped a sing-song voice right next to the ears of Itsuka as Raiden broke from his thoughts to turn his head. "Sukuuu-chaaan~ (( Itsuka groaned in the background )) I didn't know you knew this hunk of a man"
A mop of dark green hair came in to view as the face sported a large grin with wide curious green eyes gazing at Raiden as she continued speaking while throwing an arm around the shoulders of Itsuka, "He really did make a splash in the class when he hugged you out of nowhere ufufufu~"
Kendo Itsuka groaned and sputtered out reasons that Raiden was just her friend she knew from her childhood, as Raiden watched on at the giggling face of one Tokage Setsuna. He knew Setsuna as Itsuka had mentioned her once in their chats. She seemed to be a distant friend she had once met as well but couldn't meet. He grinned as he heard Itsuka concluding there was nothing between them and just to spite and tease Itsuka, a bit as well, he spoke out,
"Oooouuuuuu~~ Suku-chaaann. After I even went the extra mile of meeting with your parents how could you say that?~" Raiden sang out and he was expecting the head bop that had followed in an instant from Itsuka. Courtesy of her quirk.
"It was only dinner Den. Dinner with kaa-san, tou-san and Kumi onee-san" she replied, crossing her hands under her bust and with a tick on her forehead. Raiden nursed the bump on his head sheepishly while Setsuna grinned.
"Kumi onee-san?" spoke out Setsuna looking at them both.
"Yeah, she's my/his sister" was the reply from both Raiden and Itsuka to which Setsuna just giggled.
Before another conversation could begin a new blonde mop of hair joined in with even more curious eyes as Raiden remembered her to be the foreign student Pony. His mind raced around with various jokes of ponies and rainbows but he smudged it down as the foreign girl spoke,
"[ Thank you Kendo-san to help me in during exam ]" Raiden heard her broken accentuated words and he smiled at her as she addressed Itsuka with a gratitude. Before long though, his attention started to drift again. As his thoughts shifted to the present world again he noted the various changes that had already taken place with his admission.
He had come to know that aside from having one extra student in each class this year, making the usual number go up from twenty to twenty one, it had become really obvious to note that the universe that this MHA was set in was different, in a lot of ways. The event that had only further given evidence that this was not the typical MHA universe was the fact that Goichi was present, seemingly not the only anomaly when he remembered seeing a student in the training grounds being able to transform into a familiar muscled-Titan of sorts and another who could seemingly summon an avatar he could use to fight with, like Fumikage used his Dark Shadow. These were just one of the seemingly many others that were like Goichi, and then there was his self.
True anomalies, him and his sister.
A clicking sound from the door distracted him as he saw a new figure enter the classroom. The bulky figure, the gruff sounds, Raiden smiled at the fact that it was none other than the very hero he had slowly come to respect a little bit, with the way their initial conversations had gone and after meeting him during his exams.
'Vlad King. At last, we're gonna have the classes now'
As he saw the students shuffling into their seats while the hero-turned teacher reached his teacher's podium, Raiden got ready for the classes as every student started settling down, with the previous days' discussions alongside Kumiko still fresh in his mind. He remembered how the discussion with his sister had gone that day when he returned from his exams and both of them had sat down to talk.
It was as enlightening of the world as Raiden could feel he came to understand it now and the shocking revelation that had followed as well gave him uncertainty as to what else this world could bring in plate for him and his sister.
xx Flashback xx
x After the Entrance Exam x
"Now that was an entrance exam! (Sheheesh)!" Raiden suddenly spoke out loud as he reached the gates of his house. Eyes heavy and shoulders drooping with fatigue signs it was clear that Raiden was tired.
The entrance exam had been a gruelling battle and my god was Raiden a bit out of breath as his body only now started to give him the signals of the phantom pains. Raiden's face still had a grin as he waddled in to the courtyard and saw his sister in the verandah listening to music. Her eyes caught sight of him as she mildly smiled with adoration.
"You're home"
"MMhMM!" was the excited reply of Raiden as his sister raised an eyebrow. No matter what happened, his sister's welcoming face always brought a huge smile and positivity for Raiden and with the day he endured he was all the more satisfied in heart. Swiping a small strand of hair behind her left ear, Kumiko looked at him and asked,
"What's got you in this mood? (( hmm? )) Ohhh…." she leaned in towards him. "….the fact that you were at least able to give the entrance exam? Right?" her question lingered as she raised one eyebrow and coyly smiled at her brother.
Ok now Raiden's smile slowly started to waver as he heard that. 'Aaah Nezu you bastard!'
"Hehehe, Hey! But I did give the entrance exam and guess what?!" Raiden wiggled his eyebrows as Kumiko waited for the punch line as they say.
"I owned it but I got owned too!" Raiden half shrieked – half screamed.
Kumiko's face had an uninterested wonder as Raiden seemingly dropped a bomb about getting owned himself as well. A small stream of silence passed as Raiden kissed his teeth and spoke, "Jeez you're a tough crowd, OOOneeEE-ChHhaAAn ~~"
The visible twitch that formed in Kumiko's face was all Raiden needed to laugh out loud as he proceeded to seat down beside her in the seat. To remind Kumiko she was a girl and his sister was always a guaranteed way to get her out of her pristine elder sister attitude. Over twenty years and Kumiko still had some funny reactions to his teases on that particular topic. He continued saying,
"But check this! I fought a recommendation student for my entrance exam!" Raiden told her excitedly as he ate one of the cookies from the bowl Kumiko had been eating. She turned to look at him with expecting eyes as Raiden munched on the cookie. After swallowing he spoke,
"They had me do a rescue op in hostile area and then had me fight this new guy I first thought was gonna be my zero pointer. [ Raiden adjusts himself in his seat as he looks at Kumiko ]
His name's Goichi, Murasaki Goichi. He came out of nowhere and his fighting was wicked! He actually pushed me a lot harder than I'm used to currently. He used a kendo sword to battle me and his quirk was so amazing. You know he can actually discharge energy slashes?! Man, those slashes had me jumping around"
Kumiko was interested. Someone, this so-called Goichi, was able to push Raiden a lot in his exam, judging by the way he was describing his bout. Kumiko knew her brother was no push over when it came to hand-to-hand combat so for Raiden to acknowledge someone giving him a hard time during a fighting bout was intriguing to her. But the thing that surprised her, the most, was the mention of a sword being used by his opponent to activate his quirk it seemed.
"His quirk really took me by surprise. I didn't get to ask much about it but he mentioned that his sword mainly helped him focus his quirk's abilities. Those slashes seemed to have a mind of their own though. It was like fighting a semi-sentient quirk at times, the way the slashes seemed to bend and weave while coming towards you.
Mine was pretty obvious with the current charges around my hand so he probably didn't ask about mine cuz of that" his sister kept her gaze on him.
"But he doesn't know about your quirk fully well too, doesn't he?" Kumiko spoke smiling and she got a grin in return as Raiden ate another cookie. Kumiko was happy in a way.
Her brother had at least been able to give his entrance exams and whatever the result may be both of them were ready for it. Kumiko was confident on the fact that she had full trust on the abilities of her brother and on the result that he would pass. If the principal of the school itself called her to inform about her brother's erring, and they, themselves, admit to being impressed due to his skills then who was she to second guess anymore?
Talking about skills…
"So, breaking in U.A? That was your big bad plan in the end?" Kumiko had humor laced on to her words but Raiden picked up on the subtle edge it had as he nervously giggled besides her.
"Yeeeeaaaaahhhh, probably not my proudest of ideas ((hehe)) but….!" Raiden munched on another cookie. "….I still gave the exams though in the end"
Kumiko shook her head. "I think you were just lucky, no thanks to someone from the top brass noticing you"
"Lucky and a whole lot of anime bullshit, I am not going to lie" Raiden replied.
Reminding her self that she was currently living in a fictionally created world that felt all the more real in this many years she had lived, it was still a new experience every new day in this world, Kumiko focused back on the one thing she had perked up on before and wanted to know more about.
"So your opponent, this Goichi-kun…." Kumiko started. "….whoever he was, his quirk seems very versatile to use. Was it anything related to energy projection? Anything new you found you would like to tell your elder sister? New anime trivias? Any new quips and pop culture refs?"
Swallowing the last of the cookie in his mouth, Raiden went to fetch the bottle sitting beside the table nearby as he started answering, "I have a few theories. His name is really making my head spin due to the fact that I can't seem to recall the exact reason for that…." he proceeded to open the bottle. "((Ne) Nee-chan, weren't you researching on the various quirks currently available on public records?" he drank some water and continued, "I'd wager we'd get something from there. That's why I didn't ask much about the quirk of his"
Humming, Kumiko spoke, "Well, I guess we could look into my papers. I have made a full list of all publicly available quirk records" stretching her whole self, for a bit, she stood up from her seat as she continued, "C'mon, you can peep into the computer and on my notes that I have"
Raiden nodded as he stood excitedly only to be stopped by a finger to his forehead. The finger belonged to his sister as she pointedly looked at him and spoke, "Before that,
You will clean yourself before entering the main house" flicking Raiden's forehead Kumiko eye-smiled and turned, "You reek of sweat and grime. Go wash yourself and then come in" saying that Kumiko had entered and disappeared into the long hallways of their house compound. Grumbling about 'elder sisters getting too much leeway in animes' and such, Raiden made a beeline towards the well of their home to wash himself off the dirt and grime stuck in his body after the major exam he had given today.
As Raiden went to freshen himself up, walking the hallway towards her room, Kumiko was surprised by the way the day had turned out. Even now, she couldn't believe the turn of events that had happened. From his break in to the entrance exams, to the call from principal Nezu and finally to his opponent, the day had been a plethora of surprises and Raiden wasn't even admitted in that school fully.
When he had told her about his opponent's quirk Kumiko was interested. She seemed to recall that she had read about the type of quirk Raiden told her that he faced today. She had to sit with him and discuss about it all in detail, and also, she had one more thing to discuss with him that she had kept a secret for a while as well, but she knew it shouldn't be kept for long.
Now, a couple of years ago, while scouring the network to find more about quirks, Kumiko had stumbled upon information, about a very underground and obscure blog forum on the internet where almost all classified information could be seen and read, by pure chance.
It was appropriately named as 'The Compendium'. She had listened to the whispers and knew it for being a very controversial site as it was talked about in, very, closed off circles; and it was always referred by the conversers as mostly being only a hoax site but they still had Kumiko intrigued.
She had a very interesting encounter to gain access to it, which was a story for another time. Kumiko had been impressed and frightened as well by the way the owner of the site functioned even though she had not met them still. She still had that message etched on her mind.
'One half of the other. One of ten. Now it's full circle', that was what the supposed emissary of the site owner spoke to her before they disappeared. She had received a mail soon after but putting that encounter in the backburner, it was there in the site, Kumiko had come to know about more different quirks of various types; quirks that were either not present in the public list, were falsified in that list or simply classified for the commission eyes only.
Factually correct or not, Kumiko had to give credit to whoever had been running the forum as it was very meticulous in its presentation however small the info could be. She was even more interested when she seemed to find info of there being a shadow society, amongst the hero association, that secretly kept tabs on the various quirks emerging in Japan and beyond. This had led to her ramping up numerous questions on her head but that was for later as well.
Of course the one thing that Kumiko wanted to learn the most about was this shadow organization she learned about. She noticed there was a section in the site that supposedly contained the list of quirks that were found to be of interest to them and in that forum were absurdly powerful quirks as ability-wise each and every one of the quirks could potentially bring immense destruction to the world as mentioned by the admin who ran the forum. This admin?
They called themself Craaniatic* on the portal and seemed to be a very, very mysterious figure in the blog forum. Nobody knew who they were or what they were even, but Craaniatic seemed to be able to always keep updating the forum even with the association keeping a close eye on them, judging from the on-going covert investigation over the forum by the association and the fact that they couldn't shut down the forum no matter what they did. That was a scandal the country could never forget but that was not the point of discussion here.
The general populace were ignorant of this site as normal people could not get into the site willi-nilly. There was a process to it and Kumiko, herself, had to configure her computer network setup to browse it more efficiently. She did get some help from one of her university tech friends.
'This is like the Dark Web but for quirks. I can't believe the amount of illegal things I've done and found since I learned to take care myself in this world, but I cannot leave anything to chances again' Kumiko's thoughts ran. 'I won't be caught unaware again. Never again, I promise to myself'
She knew that the moment the hero commission flagged her network and find out she had visited that site, it would be case closed for her. But despite it all, it may not be the commission but, it seemed her preparations still lacked in a lot of ways if the freaking principal of Raiden's school knew about her site binging. She did not want to remember that conversation right now but the one thing that was certain was that the principal seemed to be a reasonable fellow.
Amongst all these thoughts Kumiko at least knew one thing still, as she entered her room and opened her computer, and that was this world was as fragile as her last.
'Quirks. Such a versatile tool at ones disposal and people are playing heroes and villains' she shook her head. 'Childrens squabbling. No wonder they term everything as collateral'
Although elevated by the presence of these quirks, humanity, their mistakes, their fears, their dreams still remained the same every day in every new way as Kumiko removed the picture of a happy family of four, making it disappear from her mind, as soon as it took image. Flaws never left even with convenience. Shaking her head Kumiko sat as she typed in the necessary credentials and unlocked her computer, she navigated through the various folders she had saved to finally pull up lists.
Lists filled with information, however short or long she could find, about quirks and their special abilities, mostly helped by the forum/site she had visited. She scrolled through the lists as her eyes looked for the one she suspected to be the prime topic of her earlier discussion.
'Den spoke of it being somewhat similar to a semi-sentient quirk. Sentient quirks are very rare anyway and Den mentioned him using a sword too' Kumiko mentally thought as she perused the various research notes, with short clips as well, that had slowly grown in number with her quirk list numbering in thousands. 'Good thing I had it categorized and short-listed some'
Mumbling 'sword user' as a mantra Kumiko kept checking her lists and folders to find out what the quirk could be when suddenly she had come across the very folder and list she was searching for the whole time. As soon as her eyes fell on to the folder Kumiko couldn't help but blink.
'Sword user. Emitter type. Energy. So that is what it is really called?'
"Zanpakutō (斬魄刀, Soul-Cutting Sword)"
A second voice matched hers as she never turned from the screen. She knew who it was beside her. Raiden had entered the room and from the big grin on his face that Kumiko could seemingly feel, it seemed she was in for a wild ride of weeb knowledge dump.
"Kumi-nee. I think we're in a whole new world now. This just probably proves it" Raiden spoke as he looked into the computer screen and checked out what it had.
On the computer screen there were various clips, multiple tabs and multiple folders that had information, however basic even, about the quirks, currently displayed and in this world. Raiden read through the info as Craaniatic wrote about the supposed real classification of the quirks that currently belonged to four users that matched the info.
Zanpakutōs, Raiden read, were supposedly a new type of quirk class that was really different than the usual quirk types and they presumably affected souls as well. Raiden would've flanked this as a hoax if it were his past life but with the way things had gone to bring him and Kumiko into this world, Raiden was easy to digest this information as probably being true as well.
He knew what Zanpakutōs were, if he remembered the bits and pieces of a certain show, but the big question that had gone through his mind was how this admin could have gotten this info from. The glaring thing to note was the fact that this was not on public record, which mostly meant that the association didn't know about this type of quirk's true abilities and had falsely registered anyone who has this quirk as they couldn't truly define it. But that smelt fishy as well.
'Why would the association not be able to scourge this site? Doesn't make sense. Probably why they are always trying to take it down'
Raiden scrolled around the folder as he noticed it had a brief description of the ability itself, in detail, with only four names that indicated them to be the wielders, which was a surprise in on itself. It was a completely new quirk category unlike fire or water or telekinesis and it seemed this was very, very, rare. Two were in Japan, one was in the famous I-Island and the other was labelled MIA officially but was indicated to be still alive.
When Raiden saw Goichi's info folder, he had peeked in and the thing he saw brought a small smile to his face.
"Kumi-nee…." Raiden turned towards Kumiko and smiled. "….this is what's up. This world, it seems to be a mishmash Kumi-nee! One big giant scramble type stuff"
Kumiko blinked. ('What?!') she quoted in her mind as she raised her eyebrows while looking at the face that had a goofy grin sported on that belonged to her oh so precious brother. He called it a mishmash. This world as a mishmash. A mishmash of what? Anime worlds?
"It's a mishmash of animes it seems like. Look at this" Kumiko couldn't believe that Raiden had literally pulled in her thoughts as well as he directed her gaze to the screen that displayed the info.
"If the info is correct and to be believed, and I trust you but I don't trust that forum you look into time to time, then our dear Murasaki Goichi-san has a stark resemblance to someone whom we watched about once. Some Shinigami type stuff. You said the fillers were too annoying so you didn't even bother reading."
Kumiko crunched her eyebrows as she looked at Raiden in quite reminiscence for a few moments trying to rack up her brain as a word came to her mind. "Bleach?"
"Bleach" Raiden re-iterated. He sat down beside her as he brought a nearby chair to seat at as he continued explaining, "Goichi has a lot in common with that guy whose name is at the tip of my tongue and really close as well but for some reason I still can't seem to remember. But I can still remember his attack name as he spoke. It was Getsuga.
Now here, if the info is really right, then his real quirk is part of this Zanpakutō sub-class and the real name is Zangetsu (斬月, Slaying Moon) not Slashing Rule, the quirk name he registered publically, which uniquely translates to Zangetsu as well, then we can assume that the world we are currently in is not the typical MHA universe we think it is."
Peaking towards the screen, Raiden watched the info as it listed two different sets of information upon it. One had his public information where his quirk was said to be a sword ability that helped him channel his inner energy. The other was much more detailed and had far more information than really necessary. That made Raiden narrow his eyes.
"Ne, Kumi-nee, you said you had a really interesting encounter with the cronies of the one who ran this site ye?" he asked her while navigating the files in the screen.
Kumiko's eyes refocused as she remembered that incident. "Yeah, I don't like to remember it"
"Because it was the first time you were almost trashed when you came face to face to talk with the boss?" A levelled glare shut Raiden up as he raised his hands in surrender but kept the grin and continued saying,
"But back to this thing. Kumi-nee, hate to say it but something is really fishy around this info you could find, for me honestly" Raiden said with attentive thought. He didn't know but as soon as he had said that Kumiko had taken a short sharp breath. He went back to browsing while Kumiko calmed herself and said, "See, Den I need to tell you something"
Raiden stopped his browsing and turned to her with a weird look as he said, "Please don't tell me you're finally bringing a boyfriend home"
The pinch was absolutely deserved, Raiden admitted.
"Look, I wasn't able to tell you this before but I couldn't keep it any longer" as Kumiko said that, she took over the cursor and she navigated towards a different private folder proceeding to open it. What Raiden read blew his very mind away as his eyes went wide and he stared at the information displayed. Information about his quirk, both the public one and his own hypothesized information brought into being, as if plucked straight out of his brain. He clicked on his sister's profile and there it was, information both public and the one he hypothesized about. Rubbing his eyes he turned towards Kumiko.
"This day is just not ending with surprises is it?" Raiden spoke in wonderment. Kumiko just shook her head.
"Since when?" Raiden enquired. "Since when have you known?"
"Five months from now. I just didn't know how to approach you I -" Kumiko stuttered a bit, "- I didn't know what to tell you just like then"
She hung her head as Raiden moved close and hugged her. She leaned in on him a bit as he proceeded to rub her shoulders and arms and said, "Yo, it's fine nee. It's fine."
A few seconds passed by as they stuck close to each other. Kumiko then slowly proceeded to move away from the hug as both of them slowly collected themselves and began to focus back on the screen in front. It was vulnerable but they knew that they had to talk about it more and they can try and sort it out as they spoke. Raiden spoke,
"So, my hypothesis of my quirk functioning like the ESPer ability of the "Railgun's", being sorta true(?), is a bit flattering to say the least but, it leaves me the question as to how did this Craaniatic get this information?"
Raiden turned towards Kumiko as he said, "Do we have surveillance around us now?"
"If these were ordinary surveillance my Pulse Scanner could track them"
"Pulse Scanner?"
"Yeah, I've been working on my quirk"
Raiden just had big grin slowly grow on his face as he laughed a bit and shook his head. "You're actually doing things with your quirk now? Should've joined the school"
"No thanks" Kumiko said as she smirked at Raiden. "I'm better off learning on my own for this one and I have you for reference lessons anyway"
True, Raiden mentally thought. He turned back to the discussion topic as he said, "Well, the information this Craaniatic person put up doesn't necessarily reveal much on my quirk as far as it's supposed generalized awakened state. Most of the information here is just public at this point but this concept. Can you awaken quirks too? Really now, like Bankai? Wait -"
Raiden backtracked towards the Zanpakutō section and as he read in he realised that this awakening was actually a real thing as supposedly two of the wielders had awakened forms and it actually acted like a Pseudo-transforming quirk as well. One of the awakened wielders was surprisingly a very old war veteran they knew was a teacher of his own private dojo and he was regarded by this Craaniatic to be the most powerful wielder of this type of quirk. He was named Senryūjin Tashimōto*. The second was a scientist situated on I-Island who went by the name of Yumehara Kiyosuke*.
"So, Tashi-sensei is the strongest Zanpakutō wielder. I always thought his flames were bullshit and had a mind of their own but I never thought his quirk would actually be this." Raiden said wonder. "It's so impressive if you think about the way he had been able to conceal it till now. Wait, old man, he has a cane too right? ( Kumiko nodded at his enquiry )
I think we can summarize the fact that all names in this section are potential Bleach characters in correspondence to their quirk abilities. I don't know why I can't remember the names but I know what I know"
"So he has his sword what (?), hidden inside that old walking cane that he uses?" Kumiko wondered.
Nodding Raiden said, "Oh yeah he definitely does, I think. You know what? We need to go meet him once again when we get vacations or something"
"Good idea. It's been a while since I met Tashi-sensei as well"
Bringing up both of their folders again Raiden had to take a deep breath once more but before he could discuss further both him and Kumiko heard the front door open and a warm voice say,
"I'm home Kumiko-chan. Is Raiden-kun back?"
Before he could respond Kumiko had already started moving towards the door and opened it to greet the person outside. He also stood and ran towards the door and it was their grandfather. He seemed to have been fishing from the looks of it as Kumiko took the fishing gears from him while helping him inside the house.
"Welcome home jii-jii. Raiden is back already" she said as she put all the items in order at the front storage space. Raiden waved his grandfather as he saw him and grinned.
"Aaah Raiden-kun. Did your exams go well?"
Smirking, he winked with the thumbs up gesture, and said, "You bet I did well jii-jii!"
His grandfather laughed. "Sure you did my boy. Sure you did" he shuffled a bag in his hands and continued, "Well I caught a lot of fish today. Who's up for some Temaki tonight?"
Raiden gave him a wide smile as he helped his grandfather with the bags and led him inside the house with Kumiko in tow. The day had been a never-ending cycle of revelations and Raiden could definitely help himself to some good old Temaki to refresh himself and also curb his growing hunger. It had been a long day after all.
'But wait, why did it never cross my mind even once! If Kumi-nee can access that site' Raiden's eyes narrowed at the thought. 'Just how many people have access to that site?'
xx Present xx
Raiden of course discussed about it and Kumiko mentioned to him about a cryptic message she had gotten that had self-erased itself. She told her that it mentioned her being the last of ten people who would have access to this site. That had shocked him beyond all imagination. A site exclusive for Kumiko with all this information? She was one of ten?
'This is some Almighty shit show. Is this some experimental multiverse?' his inner weeb had taken a leap as his thoughts ran. 'She said that there was no information about the other nine, but dude, I'm down for it. This super-secret stuff is getting exciting, so bring it on me world! Haha! I'm gonna enjoy every last second!'
Elated, despite all the shocking reveals and new found mysteries being unlocked that had thrown Raiden in a loop, his optimistic outlook hadn't changed and he looked forward to his time learning and becoming a hero at the U.A Hero school. He and his sister had realised how much different this world was from what they, what he himself, ever imagined it would turn out to be. He had called the world as something of a mishmash and boy oh boy, was there a mishmash of a lot of things.
So he would be having fun and giving hell to the other nine, whoever they would be. Both of them had discussed and talked about the information ever since. Still finding newer and, more, weird links to the abilities given.
'Well those things can wait until I get home. Now, let's get to studying' Raiden mentally thought as he saw the students of the class already settled in their seats and their teacher address every one of them after he also gets settled in the teacher's podium.
"Good morning to you all. It is with great pleasure I welcome you to the department of heroics, where you all shall be learning how to be better heroes for the good of the society and the world in general!" bellowed out the bulky figure of a man.
Vlad King was very cordial with his students even though the man looked gruff and really tough to approach. The man had worn his hero attire consisting of a skin tight red suit with a low U-shaped collar. He seemed to have taken off the visor mask Raiden remembered seeing him usually wear on his face. Over all, it seemed the students really respected him as well judging by the way they cordially reacted to his greeting.
'Is it like some divine intervention that the MC always gets the powerful weird ones?' Raiden wondered as he guessed that it would probably be the underground hero who would be teaching the A section of the first years. Not that he didn't think Vlad King was powerful but Quirk Nullifying? Yeah, that was some really wack bullshit to deal with in a world that seemed to slowly have quirks involved in everything they did.
'People don't know how much Eraserhead is a boon to the teaching staff of this school and a morally good guy in general. Imagine if he was a villain and got along with the big-shots'
The nullification, even though it had its limits, Raiden believed that Eraserhead was among the most dangerous opponents to face if quirks are solely depended upon. Although it had no effect on mutant type quirks since they were uniquely tethered to their genome and biological state, it was still one of the most powerful abilities to have emerged even though it doesn't seem to enhance anything for the wielder.
'But then there is the awakening theory as well. All of this is getting so interesting by the day'
He didn't know for sure what the future was to bring anymore since everything he had been reading and learning about with his sister, the appropriate future he would've envisioned was now completely out of the game. This was just a whole new world with a whole new future and new people from so many distinct titles that he didn't even want to bring it up for now. Let's take it slow was the general idea.
Amongst his mind's cacophony of thoughts Raiden heard Vlad King say, "Now, it's time you all head on to the initiation ceremony. I wish you all the very best for your future careers as heroes in the making. Good luck kids!"
Oh! It seemed they still had an assembly to go too. Now if he remembered correctly, the class of 1A didn't attend any initiation ceremony and went straight to physical training due to Eraserhead. So if Raiden was to guess, the ceremony wouldn't have 1A in the mix. Raiden shrugged.
He could care less about all of that as the only thing he needed to do here was to pass with flying colours and become an active licensed hero. But there was one thing about the other class that popped up in his head as he watched Itsuka get ready to walk out to the ceremony.
'I wonder how Goichi's faring in their class'
xx U.A Training Ground xx
The day was bright. Sunny, clear skies, girls in tracks and then there was Goichi.
And Goichi was kind of irritated, one could say.
Last night before coming to the school his father had thrown a huge party of sorts that hadn't let him sleep almost the whole night so he thought he could catch up on some sleep before class.
Turned out he drew the short end of the stick with his classmates.
'I swear stupid Dad only wants to embarrass me every chance he gets. Couldn't he throw the party during the day? Why at night?'
Shaking his head Goichi's thoughts turned towards the blonde haired spitfire that had broken his sleep when the brash brat started yelling around the classroom like a maniac so early in the morning and just didn't stop yelling. Goichi got pissed and confronted him but before anything could happen their teacher had arrived.
Looking at the place they were in right now Goichi clapped his cheeks to wake himself up a bit more as he watched each of his classmates gather around. He himself was already dressed with a kendo sword in his waist. Their teacher, Aizawa-sensei, had only ordered to gather in the training grounds. There was no grand introduction or initiation, nothing. Just straight to business.
'Dad said I needed to interact more with others. Let's see how that goes'
As far as Goichi knew, he was thankful in a sense to be here, even though he didn't have the very best of the first days, but coming to U.A seemed to be a better idea than anything he could consider regarding the current situation in his life. 1A didn't seem bad.
The students, aside from the violent blonde brat, seemed to be very amiable and it was just his own lack of interaction that had led him to not develop a small bond with them but Goichi didn't find it disheartening. He knew he was a bit anti-social but his father had helped him in coming out of that state and Goichi had promised him to at least be sociable again.
"Oh King" rang an echo in his mind as he closed his eyes and tried to banish the voice. "Oh King, My King"
A stream of warmth ran through his body from the top to bottom as he shivered a bit while the feeling washed over him and the voice turned distant. "Peace" rang another soft echo and then the other echo had stopped ringing inside his head. This was the very reason he still feared for his bonding. This was something nobody else but his family and close friends knew but he needed to address this problem real quick, again.
'I guess another trip is in the plan'
"You going to use that sword here, kero?" enquired a croaky female vice as Goichi thoughts got surprisingly interrupted as he turned around to look at one of his classmates who approached him.
Slender short build with a lot of frog-like characteristic and from the way she croaked out that last part, Goichi assumed she had to have some kind of frog-like abilities. He looked at her features and the small blush that had threatened to creep out was utterly squashed as quickly as it rose. Her eyes were big and wide with a very long dark sea green hair tied in a bow and it made the girl look even more eye-catching.
"Maaaaaaaate" rang another echo but was quickly silenced again as Goichi gathered his thoughts, smiled at her and replied, "I sure will….?" He hung that sentence as the girl picked up on his queue. She nodded and spoke, "Asui Tsuyu, you can call me Tsu or Tsu-chan"
Smiling Goichi bowed. "Nice to meet you Tsu-chan. My name is Murasaki Goichi. We couldn't introduce ourselves before"
"You were sleeping anyway Ichi-chan, kero" the direct reply made Goichi sheepishly rub his head as he saw many of his other classmates slowly fill up the ground.
"Huuuuuuu, so you're all gathered up huh" raspily a tired voice rang out that belonged to their class' teacher pulling Goichi and Tsuyu from their conversation. "Well, with no further delay I'm just going to drop the ball. We're going to have a Quirk Apprehension test right away"
Now that surprised Goichi, and obviously the whole class too, as they all simultaneously shrieked at the mention of the test they were about to be given. Again, out of nowhere, their teacher seemed to have decided something without any warning whatsoever again. For Goichi he realised the teacher would not be easy it seemed. Tsuyu stood beside him observing the situation.
"But-But sensei, what about the ceremonies and the initiation and the guidance meeting and-!"
"If you all want to be heroes then we don't have time for niceties and frilly-nilly greetings"
One of the other girls took to enquire about the various initiation ceremonies and all that normal high-school stuff but the rebuttal to that came swiftly as well with almost zero effort. As if they were of no concern. Aizawa continued, "You all know and understand how the school has a very good reputation for having freedom in its curriculum and inside the campus. Well, that freedom extends to us teachers as well"
The unspoken words were left as that and Goichi had picked up on the subtle lining of threat in that brief respite of silence and it seemed so did the class as they only stared forward to the teacher currently walking out towards a distance in the field and pulling out a clipboard with a few papers in it.
'Well, the man loves being unpredictably annoying doesn't he? Freedom for teachers. Must be something he already did and that is why he said that to get us up on the game probably?'
Goichi saw Aizawa walk a few more steps and stop. He turned towards the students and proceeded to speak again,
"So, softball pitching, standing long jump, 50 meter dash, endurance training, grip strength, sustained sideways jumps, upper body exercises, seated toe touch.
You all definitely know all these. Seems a bit familiar doesn't it if you went to middle school and actually paid attention to the schooling, it is natural you'd know about those activities. If you remember, then you would know that you all were barred from using your quirks during that time"
Nodding at the statement Goichi couldn't help but agree as he didn't get to use his quirk much as well. He didn't have his recent records with him as well as he had dropped out of middle school very quickly and was a direct recommend to this school. It was that very reason of being unable to use his quirks more often during childhood why what happened, had happened and Goichi could never forgive himself for it.
He still couldn't get over it no matter how hard he tried but he was still on the well road to healing with this new step in this school, he gathered. Aizawa sensei continued speaking,
"In this country, the general populace still hasn't been able to get over their fears and so standardizing of usage of quirks is still prohibited. This had been leading to negligence of gathering and maintaining school records for average performance levels as well. A huge blunder on the part of the MEXT I would say"
Goichi raised an eyebrow at the level of knowledge their teacher had. Listening to him ruthlessly say all those facts and critiques with such a straight face, he definitely practiced it was the thought of Goichi.
"Bakugō! How far did you pitch during middle school?" Aizawa asked Katsuki who responded with "67 meters"
Blinking once Aizawa pulled out a softball of his own and threw it to the blonde haired menace as he said, "Here, try using your quirk this time around"
Aizawa directed him to the pitch setbox and continued, "So long you don't go out or exit the circle, anything you can do, you will do it and chuck that ball. Don't hold back"
Katsuki got ready as he stretched and nodded stiffly while kissing his teeth. "You got it teach"
The boy moved, angled his legs, planted one, and then with all his might he outstretched his throwing right arm screaming one very explosive exclamation.
"DIE!!"
Which was truly, and literally, explosive as his quirk activated, and with a huge blast of explosive shockwave sent the softball into a very long distance; well out of the range of normal human potential. The shockwave spread as it kicked up dust and dirt around the training track field. Goichi watched as Aizawa held up a small distance-measuring equipment and showed the number displayed upon its screen. '705.2m'
"705 meters!!" exclaimed someone from the student crowd and Goichi found it to be one of his classmates with blond hair and had electric sigils around. Goichi couldn't help but remember back to the student he had faced during his entrance exam task.
'I wonder if Raiden got in as well. I didn't see him when I came in but I hope he passed' ran the sword user's thought as he could make out the giddiness of his classmates as they seemed to realise that they could use their quirks freely now with zero repercussions. Goichi shook his head at their train of thought if that was what they assumed would be happening, judging from the way their teacher seemed to be full of surprises from the get go.
"Looks fun…. you don't say?" whispered Aizawa silently as his voice rose while he rubbed his forehead with exasperated breaths. "So, you all think that it will be fun if you get to use your quirks and there will be no consequences? What, you thought you would be spending three years here having good ol' hero bonding time and use quirks freely?
What happened to being here to learn and become heroes?!"
Goichi witnessed the class go still as Aizawa continued, "Alrighty then. New rule" ( The class paid attention and Goichi only shook his head at the inevitability )
"Since you kids want to flaunt this oh so freedom you all seem to think you will get to enjoy I'm going to tell you this. New rule state, if any of you students rank in last with the lowest of points amongst your classmates, you will be termed as 'hopeless' and sent back. What that means you'd ask?
That means you will be expelled!" finished Aizawa as he critically eyed each of the students in the field, even Goichi. Goichi had to give it to Aizawa. He sold the mad teacher vibe so well it actually made some of the students around tremble at the very mention of being expelled.
"See this is what freedom for us teachers mean. It means we can create new stipulations and dispose of students as we please. So now, welcome…
….to the Department of Heroics!"
The mutterings had grown as one of the girls from before again posed some stuttering questions over how it was unfair to the lot ( "It is our first day here! Surely that means we get a leeway? Being expelled on the first for having the lowest score is unreasonable!" ) Goichi could get behind her trying to understand whatever concocted plan their teacher had made but the swift reply had shut her and everyone up as well as Aizawa spoke while pointing out,
"Natural Disasters. Massive Accidents. Villain Attacks. Unfortunate Situations.
All of these calamities and many more can occur at any time, any place, any way when we all least expect it to happen and Japan is in a crisis of its own. The incidents of Japan has reached a critical unreasonable. It is the job of us as heroes to try and reverse it all. To restore the balance that is desperately needed by the nation right now"
Goichi was impressed he won't lie. 'Aizawa-sensei, you're actually competent' ran his thoughts as he heard Aizawa continue, "If you think your schedule will be like your usual study hard and then eating at the local Burger joint after school all giddy and friendly then that's too bad.
Your next three years of life in U.A, from now, will consist of one hardship after the next. You will learn until you break and you will break your limits to be the best of yourself. That….
….is Plus Ultra"
As soon as those two words were uttered, Goichi could sense a shift in the air; as if there was a unified understanding of a single goal. He looked around as his classmates, even Tsuyu, had a rare bit of determined face with a focused gaze and clenched fists. For some reason Goichi couldn't help but just stare at her form beside him. She did not look hot in Goichi's mind!
"I expect you all to overcome the upcoming trials and close the gap to the top. Now then…." Aizawa continued as he walked a few feet away with his register in his hands.
"….the demonstration phase is over with that throw and this lecture. Time to step up to the plate ya brats"
Goichi's smile widened as Aizawa finished his statement and Goichi got ready himself for his turn. Aizawa was eccentric and Goichi came to know that the teacher seemed to be very direct with his teaching approach. Goichi could work with that as he didn't mind those kinds of tutors. Feeling his sword at the waist he got ready as the class started with the 50 meter dash. He saw Tsuyu walk in front as he followed towards the track.
'Well, here goes my day in U.A, mom'
