"If any of you had ever told me that I was going to be brought on an alien spaceship so I could be "collected" by some mass murdering, foreign, psychopath in a balls-up, I would say that you were out of your mind just like that "Simon" person I crossed paths with a while ago.
But to my surprise, that's exactly what ended happening to me.
It was just a normal day of me studying on "Hazel" as she called herself when suddenly, this "Brainiac" creature managed to find a way into the Train's pocket dimension and abducted the vehicle from the tracks using his skull ship. Luckily, me and Hazel were still together, when we came in. And needless to say, I was gobsmacked when I saw the inside the ship's interior.
As the alien's drones raided the train cars and killed many of the denizens there, we came face to face with this 12th level intellectual, self serving anomaly, he made a lot of mistakes during our confrontation with him.
Abducting the train was his first one.
His second one was when he tried to used Hazel as leverage when he tried to get yours truly to join his side.
Like bloody hell I was going to do that or allow Hazel to be harmed under my watchful eye. Thankfully, I quickly acted and got Hazel away from him before he had the chance to kill the girl as it made me remember when I tried to kill that "Tulip" girl a while back when I was the conductor.
That was when he made his last mistake...
If you guessed him trying to kill me, you'd be right.
It was a long and really difficult battle. mostly due to my decaying body. But luckily my time as being the conductor had its advantages as it allowed me to counter that every trick that dodgy cock up decided to to use...
Sure he got some hits of his own, some that would 've been incredibly painful. It was a good thing that I had that shield belt hat One gave me or I would've been dead in the first few hits.
Regardless, it was ultimately a game of cat and mouse but a more strategic version of it.
Once that bollock was unconscious, I contemplated killing him. But then I realized that killing him would make me no different from him, so I chose to let him live.
That's when things got even... shall we say, more complicated...
By that I mean, it was when a group of costumed individuals entered the ship and were surprised to see Brainiac already beaten at my feet and instantly demanded answers from the both of us.
After we explained what transpired and who we were, that was when the bickering started as one side led by this "Clark" fellow wanted Brainiac dead due to the threat he poses while the other side led by this "Bruce" person wanted to persevere him in order to save the cities that he stole.
Honestly, I understood when both sides were coming from.
That was when Hazel and I intervened before both sides of wazzocks came to blows with their tosh...
Hazel pointed at this so called "Amazon's" lasso that could apparently make people tell the truth once ensnared in it and she told the group that maybe we could use that on Brainiac.
After thinking on it for a bit, both sides agreed to this as they both wanted to save "their" Earth's cities and so they called a truce in order to do so.
After Brainiac woke up, the Amazon who apparently called herself "Wonder Woman" tied him up with her magic lasso and forced the truth out of him.
The information we gathered from him was that he was mentally connected to it...
So with the help of the one called "Cyborg" and another one called "Professor Stein" in a fusion named "Firestorm" as well as a speedster calling himself the "Flash" and Bruce, we managed to safely sever his mental connection with his ship.
When he tried to take Brainiac's 12th level intellect and everything else that the admittedly brilliant Coluan had for him and Clark's regime, I refused to allow that to come to pass.
So I chose to stop him by incapacitating him in a match of intelligence.
That was when all hell broke loose as I was attacked by some regime members such as the one who called himself "Robin" and the godlike member called "Black Adam" as well as the Amazon.
Luckily, Bruce's "Circle of Trust" as he called it was there to back me up such as the alien scarab user called "Blue Beetle" and this other guy calling himself "Green Lantern" and we managed to put a stop to the regime.
If you guys are wondering what became of Brainiac, no worries, he was taken to the base of the Green Lanterns called "Oa" by Hal himself. Whatever they decide to do with him would be totally deserved.
As for the cities on Earth, I chose to be the one to put them back as no one trusted Clark to use it for megalomaniac reasons and I mastered such extraterrestrial levels of technology due to being on the train for the past 33 years despite Bruce's protests, so I carefully put one after another back where they belong. With each one, I could here my number go down significantly.
Once that annoying debacle was dealt with, I felt the intellectual increase begin to corrupt me a bit, luckily Hazel, Bruce and his Insurgency were there to help me prevent that from happening.
Afterwards, Bruce decided to send me, Hazel and the train back to our original dimension with the help of his fascinating inter universal transportation technology.
Once we got back, I received something I thought I never see in my lifetime as I was in total disbelief.
My exit was given to me by One because of my selfless act in the other universe. Apparently, he saw everything that happened during my time in the other universe.
And so, as I gave my goodbyes to Hazel and One, I told her to go to One for protection. As I finally exited the Train, I gotta say that after all of that I've been through with the madness of that other universe with those costumed man children, I think I've earned it."
