Chapter 5
Author's note: sorry about the chapters being so short I'll work on that.
I woke up to my crystal ball talking. It was Willow, Gus, Amity, Luz, Em, and Hunter. My ball answered for me when I woke up when Luz said"Morning Crystal." "Aaahh!" I yelled. "Everything ok up there?" asked Pibbling Rain "Ya just surprised!" I yelled back. "How am I on the call while sleeping?" I ask "oh that was your crystal ball."Hunter said "ok let me get ready I'll be right back." I tell them. I get ready and rejoin the call "Where'd Willow go?" I ask "Oh she had to go, like us"Em said. Em and Amity left so now me, Hunter, Gus and Luz were on the call. They were saying something about the day of unity "oh thats my Dad gotta go." said Gus "oh bye." I say. "Sooo….What now?" Luz asked. We just sat there awkwardly for a few minutes then I said " I should go um.. bye." "bye." Hunter and Luz say at the same time. I leave the call and start to blush "I'm an idiot you met him once he doesn't know you why do you like him?" I say to myself I'm sitting thinking then my Pibbling Rain started to practice their magic which was loud so I went out for a walk. I passed a new restaurant. Since I'm hungry I text my Pibbling Rain that I'll be out for a bit. I headed inside to get a sandwich and apple blood when some wild witches were being destructive. My pibbling Rain told me to get to safety if I can't get home I text ok back. I see ugh The Golden Guard Luz told me he's ok I run outside to get a better look all of a sudden I get swooped into the sky not realizing what's going on I'm holding on as tight as I can trying not to fall closing my eyes out of fear I can feel my capture tens up but I don't want to die. I can feel myself being dropped to the ground. I open my eyes to see Luz at the door of this old house "Luz!?" I scream "But the….who?" I turn around and see the golden guard. Why would he do that? I thought to myself "come inside Crystal." Luz said. We walk inside the old house and this little dog thing runs up to Luz "Luz get back it's an intruder!" it said "No, calm down King it's just my friend, Crystal." "Aww your sooooo cute!!" I say picking King up scratching behind his ear. "No I'm not, ohh that feels good." He says I put king down and realize that I need to get home "Bye Luz." I say. I run back home to find my pibbling Rain pacing back and forth. They come and hug me when I walk in. "I haven't been gone for long." I say "Yes but what if something happened to you" they say pulling away from the hug "Ok can I go in my room now?" I ask "ok." they reply. I run up to my room and sit on the window thinking. When I hear a knock on the balcony door. I cautiously walk out but see no one out there "Hello wh-whos there?" I asked frightened when I suddenly saw a red bird. I think it's a palisman!?"Hey, where's your owner, little guy?" "Chirp chirp." it said someone grabs my shoulder. I turn reading a punch when it's the golden guard I put my fist down "I apologies, sir." I say He breaks down laughing I stand there confused "What is happening sir?" I ask "No need to be so formal Crystal." he said. His voice it's familiar. I think "Hunter?!" I ask "Yup you got me!" He said taking his mask off. "I uh… Was wondering if you wanted to take a fly without being kidnapped?" he asked. "Ok." I reapplied "I mean if you don't want- wait really?" he asks "Of course beats sitting and doing nothing." I say. I hop on his staff and hold his waist. He tensed up so I let go "Oh sorry I never rode before." I say "It's fine really." he said. I held on, we took off to the woods to see the sun set. We landed on a cliff near the sea. "Wow it's gorges." I say looking at the orange and pink sky
"This is my favorite spot to see the sun set." said Hunter. "Hey Hunter?" I ask "Yeah?" He replied. "Me and our friends are planning something and I was wondering if you wanted to help?" I ask "Um….. depends, what is it?" He asked, "It's nothing really, just a mission against the emperor." By then my voice was quiet but he could still hear me "No I can't do that!" he yelled. The rest of the night was quiet. "You should probably go home before Rain yells at you." He said "Yay see you later." I go home and sneak in the window. I lay down. I have to get lots of sleep for tomorrow.
