"So since I've been the only one taking care of you, you've become my responsibility, which means I can't leave you behind because nobody else is going to take care of you, willingly or not. Trust me, I wasn't exactly happy about it, but I knew I couldn't just leave you here to die while I'm off trying to help the ones who have been or are being left behind. And, who knows? If you help, maybe you could get something good out of it, like… freedom."

"Freedom, really?" Starscream questioned, unconvinced by that last part.

"Okay, well, freedom might be a bit of a stretch..."

"You think?"

Knockout sighed and shook his helm. He had a very long couple of days. He was tired, and in no mood to deal with Starscream's attitude.

"Listen, Starscream, like it or not, - which I know we both don't - you're coming with me on this mission," Knockout said as he turned to leave. "I'll come get you and bring you to the ship when everything's all set. Just, try and behave yourself, please?"

Knockout opened the door and walked through.

"No promises," Starscream said, sounding a bit nicer than he has been thus far.

Knockout closed the door and left, a small smile alight on his faceplates.
