"What brought the urge to take multiple jobs at once?" I asked while walking down the road on my way to my next job, confused about why Bruno would ask this. "What's the occasion?"

"Jane is pregnant." Bruno said, a look of determination on his face. "I remember how much you spend on feeding Laxus and Cana, and I don't want to end up not having enough to care for my wife and child."

"I don't think me and the kids are a good example for the money you would need," I said remembering how exactly I get all of the food I make for the kids. "Not unless you're planning on hunting for food like I do, makes up for everything I spend on their education."

"More reason to work a bit harder then." Bruno said, nodding to the veiled piece of advice. "I'll be needing extra money in that case, plus I've seen how Macao is doing with his wife, they're not doing all too well raising that son of theirs and that's with the both of them working."

"It's hard for people who need to eat," I said, remembering back on Earth when I wasn't able to keep in shape due to having no money. "I'm lucky that I don't need to, but you and your wife still do. I'll help where I can, just ask so I know its ok."

I don't really want to step on people's pride, it's the reason why I haven't been helping Macao in the finance department. Despite everything he's done for me.

"Thanks for your help Rep," Bruno said, an appreciative smile on his face. "This means a lot."

"Don't mention it." I nodded while rebalancing myself, these wings are cumbersome, before changing the subject. "What's the first job on the list?"

"Master said it's your specialty?" said Bruno, simultaneously telling me the job and asking why Makarov called it that.

"Bandit encampment routing." I said, trying to hide a grin. "You'll see why Makarov called it that."

"Ok then," Bruno shrugged, not knowing the carnage I plan to wreak on these poor fools. And he'll be helping me.

"And that is the plan." I said, finishing my explanation of the plan I made in a minute after reaching this world's standard of an encampment. "It's pretty simple, like all the others I've taken down. Just a matter of divide and conquer especially now that I have backup here."

Turning back to Bruno after using HUD and my own extensive experience gathered from that point Makarov started giving me jobs to analyze the encampment as fast as possible. I noticed that he's looking at me with a terrified expression, and somehow his tanned skin looks even paler than me.

"Was it something I said?" I asked, tilting my head. I stopped trying to avoid the little habits, it's no use fighting them. "Are you ok?"

"That is simultaneously the most beautiful and terrifying combat analysis I have ever heard." Bruno said, his complexion regaining its normal hue. "And I'm a Fairy Tail mage."

That last point kinda works against him, I mean the most that Fairy Tail mages do in combat strategy is make things up on the fly, or make up a plan before rushing in and abandoning it first thing. It's to the point that Mavis using basic logic and deduction made her into the Fairy Tactitian. My brand of strategy might be a bit overkill compared to that since I have HUD and three different analysis based super computer programs helping me out though.

"Yet, nobody in your guild ever plans anything out in advance." I began staring at him straight in the eyes using Zero's experience to make the most serious glare I could. "Leading to who knows how much property damage and driving the guild further into debt."

As I finished saying that Bruno paled once more, and even started sweating nervously. He was opening and closing his mouth as if he were trying to say something, while also fidgeting with his arm. A habit he picked up after I had him play with his beast arm to become more familiar with it. It makes sense that he's terrified, he's one of the many guildmembers who are constantly causing collateral damage.

If it weren't for the jobs I take having the rewards being cut in half due to not being a guildmember like the rest of them the Fairy Tail guild would've been deep in debt right about now. It's no wonder why the guild went from number one all the way to dead last during the seven year time skip, the mages on Tenryou all took jobs that paid for the debts and more. Without that the guild plummeted back to where it once was before the members of the S-class left.

Feeling that Bruno had been chastised enough I lighten the glare and turn back to the bandit camp. Thinking back on the plan I made, I made it without any of Bruno's input and considering he's actually part of the mission it would probably be best that I do so.

"Bruno," I said, switching to X's tone to make sure he knows that I'm not angry when I ask. "How do you feel about the plan, do you want a more major role?"

"Well, despite its brutality." Said Bruno, finally having recovered from my mini lecture. "I have no problems with it, and it does let me pull my own weight even if only a litte. I can manage."

"I wanted to make sure you weren't uncomfortable with it. We do need to pace ourselves for the others after all." I said before turning over to the side I was going to cover. "Remember I'll handle the back, you aren't exactly sublte so the stealth aspect will fall on me. Just wait for the signal."

"Speaking of, just what is the signal? You still haven't told me that part." Bruno said, crossing his arms, a look of confusion on his face.

"You'll know it when you hear it." I said before dashing off and only lightly using Model H's flight abilities to avoid making noise, making sure to keep under the cover of the trees.

It took a lot of practice, both with and without the kids and the others. But I figured out how to fly at high speeds while also dodging obstacles and projectiles. It hurt a lot whenever I crashed but in the end it helped since I can now do this albeit I need to stop halfway since the light from my wings might catch their attention.

Slowing down before landing and switching over to Model Z, the familiar red armor on my body and years of combat experience flowing through my mind. I take cover behind some shrubbery making sure I can still see 'my entryway' of the bandit camp. The familiar weight of Zero's gun-like Buster Shot in my hand, I kept watch for the first bandit to walk past the entry so I could do a quick take down.

As I waited I had HUD keep a constant scan of the camp, using Harpuia's analysis system being enhanced by the combined powers of X's variant weapons system and Zero's learning algorithm. There weren't many that were outside the camp, and those that were are right in Bruno's path so he can take them down once I start the assault.

Seeing one of the bandits passing by the opening, I dash at him with lightning magic charged in my hand and grab him by the neck while using the buster shot to shoot at the closest bandit in range. This could be a good test run for that idea I had a little while back, might as well right?

Time for some fun.

Scene Change: Same place, right as Rep leaves Bruno behind.

Bruno Pov.

How is he so good at this?

While it is just a simple bandit routing job, a job that even a C-class mage can do easily so long as the bandits don't have a mage of their own. It's still pretty hard to come up with a plan to take them down without any casualties or property damage, something nobody in the guild has any talent for. It's why Fairy Tail always ends up having to deal with major debt whenever one of us takes a bandit routing job.

No wonder the Master said it's his specialty, Rep came up with a plan to take down the camp, without any property damage and avoiding doing anything destructive overall in seconds after glancing at the camp once. And he even took into account how much I would be able to handle too since this won't be the only camp we have to take out.

Where did this guy learn how to fight? I know he's younger than me and Jane by at least a decade, in fact he still looks a little like a child even if he's a teenager now. Despite his age though, he moves with experience I've only seen in the older mages at the guild and even then they still can't really compare to Rep.

Did something happen to make Rep like this or is it a facet of Take Over that I don't know about? Rep might have started teaching me about Take Over directly but it's obvious he still hasn't taught me everything since I can barely keep up with the exercises he does for training himself, as if no matter how much I improve Rep will always stay just that much stronger than me.

Will I be able to gain that power to protect my wife and child?

Shaking my head, I clear away those thoughts. This isn't the time to think about stuff like that, I'm on a job and need to be ready for the assault since it could happen at any moment. Keeping watch on the bandit camp, I use my Beast Arm Take Over spell, turning my arm into the arm of a forest vulcan. And wait for the signal that Rep said he would make.

After a few minutes of quiet, I saw in the middle of the camp the same attack that Rep used when he gained that new transformation. A large tornado that had bolts of lightning coming off of it, only this time it was a lot larger than it was in the forest clearing.

Running in I punch at the bandits that I could see, them trying to get away from the attack on the rear of their camp. There were a lot of bandits coming this way but not more than I could handle, just according to plan.

As I punched my way in, I noticed that the sound from the tornado died down before looking at where I last saw the attack. The tornado wasn't around anymore, but I could still hear the screams from the bandits. Rep is really ripping into them isn't he?

Grabbing a bandit trying to sneak up on me with my beast arm, I throw him at another trying to escape, knocking them both out in the process. I really need to thank Rep for teaching me how to throw people like this, It's really coming in handy.

After hitting the last of the retreating bandits, I head over to where I heard the screams last and finally see the same sight that has always both left me terrified and in awe. Rep fighting all out.

Rep was moving all over the camp at an extremely fast pace. Hitting bandits with that energy sword of his, before changing forms mid attack and blasting another. Always changing forms and weapons while mid-hit to get at another bandit. Never stopping or slowing down, heck it's almost as if he's speeding up and getting faster with each take down.

Now I know why Macao and Wakaba are always complaining about getting too weak from only being able to train with other members of the guild, if Rep's this good at fighting then he could probably beat them in a spar unlike most people in the guild.

Deactivating my beast arm, I take a break and wait for Rep to finish, though I still stay on guard to make sure that nobody escapes.

'I don't think an arm is supposed to bend that way.'

A/N:

Sorry for the really late update guys, I haven't really been able to find the time to work on this due to a bunch of holiday planning. I wasn't even able to make this chapter as long as I would've liked since I don't see myself getting the time to. It is way shorter than I'd like in all honesty, heck I wasn't even able to write out the fight scene the way I wanted to since I needed to get the chapter closed. I'll make sure to try and avoid the same pitfall on this chapter in the next.

The idea for this chapter can be credited to "ringtaillemur0" for contacting me via a PM. Again I wasn't really able to bring out everything I could from the idea due to time constraints but their help is really appreciated.

Thank you for reading.
