The story itself fills the first three chapters: It started in 1x09 with Maze and Trix meeting. Rory appeared by accident, time traveling so Chloe learned Lucifer was really the devil. She had a chat, they found out Lucifer still has his wings. Palmetto was solved by interrogating Aoudi in hell. They plan their first date.

Then there are some postscripts, adding nothing to the story, just telling how some people fit in this AU:

First we see how Amenadiel returns, assigned by his Father to deal with mum. Amenadiel asks Lucifer and his sister Raziel to help him finding mum.

Second a demon possesses a victim to inform Chloe on who is the killer. Ella is witness and finds out about Lucifer and in the end about Ray-Ray.

Three Mum gets a talk with Linda and Trixie ending in realizing she can leave this Earth to her husband and start her own creations on another planet.

Four Linda is attacked by some guys and saved by Na'amah and Raziel: That is how Linda finds out.

In postscript five we jumped a few years ahead to see how Rory found a friend.

Postscript six tells how Eve fits in as Rory's aunt.

How Eve came back to Earth

((C))

"It happened three years ago. We had first visited Lucifer's dad," Chloe started.

"You mean… God?" Eileen asked.

Chloe took a look at Eileen's face. She was interested, not afraid. Chloe nodded. "We do every six or seven weeks. And after visiting him we normally go to say hello to my dad."

"He… is deceased? I remember Rory telling her grandfather was murdered." Eileen looked at her, eyes wide open.

"He is. He was a cop and shot twenty-seven years ago. Anyway, Lucifer was still talking with his dad about some detail concerning a demon and Rory and I already went to see mine. I was telling my dad about a colleague he had known, also a cop, that retired two months before and Rory got bored by us just talking. We were sitting on a lawn on the bank of a small river and the weather felt like a beautiful day in June."

(E)

Eve strolled along the river, pretending to just look at the patterns on the water that came over the rapids in the river. That was the girl. His daughter. She had heard he had a daughter with a mortal woman. The first time someone told her she had laughed. Such a thing was not possible. The second time it was said she had become angry. But she had checked with Gabriel, the archangel, and she had confirmed the story. Lucifer had a daughter with a woman called Chloe and they were married.

The concept of being married didn't mean much to Eve. When she had lived on Earth, the whole word hadn't existed: well… there was no other human that Adam, so yes, they had been a pair. Yes, she had had cheated on Adam with Lucifer and Lucifer had had no other woman during their relation. Well… there had been no other women on Earth.

But she knew humans nowadays made a point of being married and she didn't like it he had married that Chloe.

From the corners of her eyes she studied the little girl and the woman that must be the mother. Blond hair, blue eyes, good looking. The man was Chloe's father, Eve knew. He had recently come to heaven. Around twenty years ago, in Eve's opinion that was very recently.

The little girl walked away from her mother and granddad and came to the river. Eve watched how the girl wandered along the waterside, picking some flowers and coming closer.

"Who are you?" the girl asked when she reached Eve.

"I am… me. Just me."

The girl grinned. "I am Rory. Are you an angel or a human soul?"

"I'm a soul… A lonely soul." Eve sighed.

"Are you lonely? Do you not have a family? Maybe they are still on Earth and will come later."

Eve shook her head. "I have a husband, but we have never been friends. We didn't like each other and we didn't meet for the last five thousand years. I have three sons and nine daughters but only one son and four daughters are in heaven. And they remind me of my husband, they remind me too much of my husband."

"But if you didn't like your husband, why did you marry him?"

"Yes. I should have picked another man," Eve scoffed. "There were not many other human. In fact there was none." Apart from the girl's dad, Eve mused. But he was no human.

"Do you also have grandchildren?" Rory interrupted her thought.

"O? Yes. Twenty-seven grandsons and sixty-one granddaughters. Some of them were so sweet." Eve sighed once more. "And some were real bastards."

"Did you read bedtime stories for the sweet ones?"

Eve laughed. "There was nothing to read back then. We had never written anything, we didn't imagine writing. It took almost five thousand years before someone started to make notes on tablets of clay. But I told them stories about small animals in the forest and flowers and I invented gnomes and imps."

"What? You really made those?"

"No, no. I made up the first stories about small creatures that no-one had ever seen and who had all kind of adventures."

The girl grabbed her hand. "Can you tell me such a story?"

Eve smiled, made a quick glance at Rory's mother who was still talking with her dad and said: "Of course. Come to my house and I will tell you some."

Chloe gave her dad a hug and looked around. "Where is Rory?" She looked around, but couldn't find her daughter. She and her dad rushed to the river.

"Rory!" Chloe shouted. No reaction.

"Can she swim?" her dad asked.

"Can one drown in heaven?" She almost screamed.

"I…" Her dad shook his head. "Maybe she… Ask that fisher."

A hundred yards upstream on the other side a man was fishing in the river. Chloe ran to face him and shouted: "Did you see a little girl? This tall, black hair."

"Yes. She walked away with a woman. The other way." He gestured downstream.

Another woman? Chloe folded her hands and thought: 'Rory? Where are you? Do come.'

Her daughter didn't appear from behind a tree or some shrubs and she didn't see a girl her size. She folded her hands again and thought: 'Lucifer! I don't see Rory. Can you contact her?'

(E)

The girl asked for a second story and after that a third one. Eve smiled. "You should have been my daughter," she whispered.

"My mommy asks me to come," Rory said.

Eve took the girl in her arms and raised her. "Wait. I could be your mommy. Please." She felt tears welling up.

"You shouldn't cry," Rory said. "Why do you cry?"

"I…"

"Is it because you're lonely? Is there no one else? No friends, no neighbors, no one you played with when you were a child?"

Eve sighed. "There were no others when I lived on Earth, no one to be a friend or a neighbor. And I was never a child."

Rory folded her hands for a second. "That was daddy," she said.

"What? What did you tell him?"

Rory ignored that. "You should find a friend. Some friends."

Within minutes Lucifer came out of heaven's sky and landed next to Chloe. "She is ok. She is a few minutes away, downstream, in a yellow painted house with a green door and a woman that needs consolation."

"Consolation?" Chloe asked. "In heaven. I thought every soul over here is happy."

"That's what Rory told me," Lucifer said.

They were walking along the riverside, looking for the right house when with a flash of light Lucifer's dad appeared. He pointed. "That house. The green door is at the left side, you can't see it from the river. Rory is ok, Chloe. Relax."

"Who is that woman? What does she want from Rory?"

"She is Eve. The Eve from the Genesis," God answered. Before he could say more, Rory came out of the yellow house, holding the hand of a woman and pulling that woman with her.

"Eve!" Lucifer said.

"Hi, Luci," Eve answered. "Long tome not seen."

Chloe realized this was Lucifer's first lover, from the time of Genesis. She was a beautiful woman, long black hair and a pretty face. But she looked sad and had tears on her cheeks.

"Why did you take my daughter with you?" Lucifer asked.

"I…" Eve closed her eyes and shook her head.

"Because she is lonely, daddy," Rory said. "Granddad, because she needs to find a friend and when she lived on Earth there was no one to be a friend with."

"That's true," God said softly and with a smile. "There were no other humans then."

"Granddad, can't you send her back. Let her live a new life, so she can make some friends?" Rory stepped to God, grabbed his hands and looked at him eyes pledging. "Please."

Chloe looked at her father-in-law. He had once explained to her that sending a soul from heaven back to Earth was dangerous, it could damage the chain of causes and effects. But he just smiled at Rory. "You think that is the best for Eve?"

Rory nodded and laughed.

Apparently God knew or guessed Chloe's thoughts. He looked at her and said: "There is some danger, but I think I can repair the effects it will have on chain and effect. No worry. It's for Rory, so I will do."

(E)

God came to Eve and took her in his arms. "My son will not be your lover," he whispered in her ear. She looked at Lucifer and saw him holding Chloe's hand. Eve swallowed and nodded.

"Lucifer and Chloe can and will be your friends, but you have to make other friends also. Will you try?"

"Yes." It came out so soft, she didn't hear it herself, but God smiled.

"I will send you back."

Chloe and Lucifer arranged a welcome party for her. A strange gathering of women: three humans, Chloe, Ella and Linda, two angels, Raziel and Azrael and two demons, Maze and Na'amah. Maze was a shock for Eve, as if she saw Lilith again. But Eve tried to hide the shock and just smiled. They met at a place they called the Lux. A kind of place that hadn't existed during her first life, but she had heard stories about this kind of places. There were other people, there was music and drinks, laughter and noice.

She was kissed and hugged by all of them, they listened to her story. It was Maze who said: "You want to dance?"

Eve looked at the moving bodies on the dance floor. "I have never danced before."

"I will show you."

She and Maze stood up and Eve turned to take a longer look. "Some are just shaking with their arms and legs, others are pushing their bodies together."

Maze leaned against Eve's back, from behind wrapped her arms around her, kissed her neck and whispered: "I will teach you both."

((C))

"They have been a love couple since," Chloe finished her story telling. "They got married last year."

"Married?" Eileen frowned. "Sorry, I know it's legal nowadays."

Chloe grinned. "You mean two women?"

"Our church tells us…" Eileen stopped talking, staring at Chloe. "We believe… I mean the vicar. O my G…" She put her hand before her mouth and shook her head.

"Just say it, Eileen," Lucifer said. "Your vicar tells you marriage between two women or two men is a sin or an insult of my dad or similar words."

While Eileen nodded, Pete asked: "Is it not?"

Lucifer grinned. "I walked Eve down the aisle and was one of her two legal witnesses, my dad walked Maze down the aisle and was one of her legal witnesses."

"Right." Eileen took a deep breath and gave a smile. "I want to know." She took a zip of her wine and laughed. "I better not tell our vicar. So those are Rory's aunts. This week there were two other aunts picking up Rory. Are they also married?"

"Uh?' For a moment Chloe was thinking. "Ah. Monday. Na'amah and Raziel picked her up. Na'amah has been Rory's sitter for years. And, no not married, just close friends."

"Do they know Lucifer is the devil? Rory is an angel?"

Chloe smiled. "They do. A problem was we needed a sitter for Rory, but that sitter might find out the truth, so we had to be careful. Na'amah solved our problem by volunteering. She is a demon, one of Maze' sisters. Raziel is an angel, one of Lucifer's sisters.

"An angel and a demon are friends?"

"They met nine years ago and almost immediately became friends. Rory's aunts: Maze and Eve, Ella and Azreal, Raziel and Na'amah and Linda."

"Together with Chloe they are the Tribe," Lucifer added. "These eight party once a month. Parties that always end in a bar fight."
