Disclaimer: I don't own Starbucks. What, you thought I would say something about Danny Phantom? Yeah, right.

For the record, I'd much rather be writing TT stories.

Disclaimer somehow came out in Sam's POV, but the actual…thing (is it a drabble, is it a fic, GAH!) is told by Tucker.

I think there's something wrong with Danny. Nothing immediate or life threatening, though. Physically, he's fine (or at least as fine as a human-turned-half-ghost can be). And I don't think that he's depressed, or on drugs, or any of those other problems we teenagers are so good at having. Nope, nothing like that. But still, there's something wrong with Danny.

It all has to do with the way he feels about girls. He doesn't think that he's better than them, or that they're out to get him, or anything dumb like that. But basically, in his mind, there's only three categories (well, maybe four) of females.

Category 1: Family. Like Jazz, or one of his cousins.

Category 2: Enemies. Like Ember, or Valerie when she's trying to kill him (man, that's one crazy chick).

Category 2½: Unimportant People. Like the nerdy girl in our science class, or the girl who works at the local Starbucks.

Category 3: Potential Romantic Interests. Like Paulina, or Valerie when she's not trying to fire a laser cannon up his as-butt.

That's all fine and well, but there's one problem: He's got no category for "just friends". Why do you think we don't hand out with more girls? It's definitely not because I've got any problems in the ladies' attraction department (heck no!). It's because Danny is totally incapable of having friends without feeling something more for them.

What about Sam? Well, believe it or not (and you probably do), she's in category 3. At the top of the list, in fact. Even though they've been best friends for years, Danny's always LIKED her, liked her. Even if he didn't realize it. She certainly didn't (doesn't).

Guess I'll have to set them up before the sexual tension builds up to the point of Danny exploding. I don't want to have to clean that up.
