Time: You know how Zoro and Nami randomly arrive together when the crew and Vivi are looking for the bombers? Yeah, I was wondering what happened in there.

Nothing

Every time after a fight, Zoro would fall down, unconscious, because he was so tired. Every time after he fell, Nami feared the worst. But every time his chest moved up and down, and Nami didn't worry anymore. But this time, in the streets of Alabasta, Nami didn't see Zoro breathing. When she touched his arm, nothing happened. So Nami started worrying. Then he moved. Not much, but he moved. Nami was so happy, she started crying. Her tears splashed onto the back of his head, and rolled down to his ear. He moaned and began to get up. He saw Nami crying and asked what was wrong. Nami responded, "Nothing.

Time: Right before the crew got to Drum Island. When Zoro and Nami are alone after Luffy races out to see the island.

Fighter (LOTS of dialogue)

Luffy raced out of the cabin where Nami was resting. He was so eager to see the island. Nami wished she could too, but her body wouldn't let her. She felt as though she was dying. She was trying so hard not to fall asleep, because she feared she wouldn't wake up. Nami didn't even notice that Zoro had taken Luffy's unoccupied seat.

"Hey. How do you feel?"

"Crappy."

"Yeah…I know the feeling."

"How?"

"Well when you ran off to Cocoyashi Village, I got to fight Mihawlk Hawk Eyes. That's where I got the huge slash across my chest. I felt pretty crappy while Usopp and I were following you."

"Why did you flip yourself into the water at Arlong Park?"

"I knew you would save me. I trusted you."

"I'm so sorry."

"Don't be. Sleep."

"No…I mean about your wound opening back up. Is it healed up now?"

"Pretty much. I may have overdone it in Whisky Peak though."

"Can I see?"

"Eh?"

"I want to see if you're telling the truth."

"Fine." Zoro took off his parka and laid it on the floor. He shrugged his shirt off and threw that next to his parka. He then scooted his chair closer to Nami's bed so she could see well. Nami reached her hand out and brushed her fingers against the stitches.

"So you weren't lying." Nami smiled. "That's good to know." She closed her eyes. Zoro took her face in his callused hands.

"Nami. Listen to me. I know exactly what you're going through. Whatever you do don't give up the fight. I know you can win."

"What makes you so sure?"

"You're a fighter."Namiwentto sleep with a smile on her face. Zoro watched over her.
