Stone
Everyday he concentrated on the smooth, milky-blue rock in his hand, twisting his knife into it to make a symbol in it. One after another he carved until he had three different stones, all of them different in appearance but still alike. Finally he connected them together- two fused together by heat with the largest pendant hanging off of it, forming a triangle- and strung them onto a midnight blue strip of velvet.
"Here Yue," he said, admiring his work in the soft moonlight. "This is for you."
