Ms. Kelsey wasn't in the best of moods. She'd almost missed her appointment with Deanna due to some scheduling issues. But it had been sorted out, and she was here. As had become custom for them, Ms. Kelsey provided snacks for both of them. Once they were settled, Ms. Kelsey began to describe what her past week had been like.

She described to Deanna how her father wasn't fulfilling his end of the divorce from her mother years ago and failed to contact her about essential dates and information directly. Instead, assuming she'd merely received the paperwork. This disgusted both Deanna and Ms. Kelsey. It further disgusted Deanna when Ms. Kelsey described her father's behavior in more detail.

That he was, without a doubt, highly entitled. That he couldn't care less for anyone outside of himself. How he'd disowned his children yet expected them to respect him! That he made his second wife's children the executive of his estate.

Ms. Kelsey also confessed he'd never helped her mother out when she needed it. During the whole time, they had been married. Everything fell on her mother. Ms. Kelsey's mother also had a mental illness. Which likely contributed to why her mother's depression got worse. Also, Ms. Kelsey hated that she'd been used as a weapon against her mother following the divorce. She also refused to forgive her father for constantly leaving her alone to go on vacation.

Deanna did note that all members of Ms. Kelsey's family had an amount of entitlement and narcissism. Ms. Kelsey expressed she was the only one in her family to take accountability for her actions. Furthermore, she was self-aware and knew humility. She figured that why she was the main target of everyone's abuse because she wasn't in denial like them. She did mention things only slightly improved between her and her mother once her mother started saying how she actually felt.

Ms. Kelsey also described how she was sick of so much negativity found within the computer system. How so many people called others a-holes or claimed their stories were bogus. She admitted she no longer wanted to hear any of it. She had enough toxic people in her life. And if people were going to claim everything was fake about those stories? Then she didn't need that.

She did happily inform Deanna that she'd almost reached her goal of uploading the last of her art dump. Plus, only a few stories short of 300 one-shots. Which Deanna had to admit was quite impressive. Next, they talked about why books were being banned. The books banned were all books the public needed to acknowledge. You can't hide the truth, and reality must be accepted for what it is.

Not some damn fairy tale. But harsh, unfair, and deeply disturbing at times. They also talked about how some people take works of fiction far too seriously. Like when they tried to diagnose characters with mental illnesses or claimed that real-world logic wouldn't fit.

Completely ignoring the fact works of fiction didn't follow logic. They're made to escape reality for a spell. Therefore they didn't have to fit into the real world at all. Again they were fiction!

They did end up talking about how emotions were neither positive nor negative. That it comes down to how you choose to act on them, that's what determines if they're positive or negative. They quickly finished up so Ms. Kelsey could return to her quarters. She had quite a few things she needed to get done.
