While no one was Watching

Summary: Special Agent Takahashi is the best there is. There has not been one mission he has not succeeded in since he was hired. That is until one fateful evening that will test his skills, his patience, and everything he knows. Can he win when the odds are clearly against him?

Prologue: My Mission Statement

I am nothing but a shadow. The black blur a person sees out of the corner of their eye, then turns to see nothing but thin air. I exude confidence and demand respect. I may be a 'pretty boy,' but don't under estimate the power I wield. I am deadly and sinister, and highly persuasive when I need to be. I am cold and ruthless and know how to kill a person in fifty-five ways; that's without a gun. After all, it is what I've been trained to do.

I've been training since I was eighteen for ten hours a day, seven days a week for the last ten years. I've seen images and smelled scents no one should have to. I also know how to use just about any weapon known to man. Oh, and I've killed no less than two hundred men in the last ten years.

I know more languages than I can count on either of my hands and numerous styles of hand-to-hand combat techniques. My hearing and eyesight are impeccable, and I have memorized the looks and characteristics of all the narcotics that infiltrate the city slums and clubs.

I've been in the news more times than I can count. On occasion it's been drugs, but most of the time with terrorists. What can I say? I play with the big dogs. I guess I should also add that when I play, I play to win. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. I get the job done. It's as simple as that.

In fact, I know about several drug and terrorist operations that are about to go down; I'm involved with all of them. It's history in the making, and the news is going to eat it up.

So, who am I?

I've been called many different things by many different people. I am what a lot of people would say their worst nightmare. A figure of imminent death and destruction, but who I am has no precedence here. Although, I must say that if you ever have the unfortunate pleasure of meeting me than I warn you to run. Run with everything that you have because I like a good game of cat and mouse. It makes the job that much more interesting.

I would also advise you to hide. As futile as it may be, I like a challenge, and there is always a chance that you will be spared a few more moments as I take down the underlings you've had the pleasure to work with.

The more intricate and evasive my subjects are, the more fun I have when it is finally time for said people to meet their maker, so this is my warning, my disclaimer if you will. I'm out there. I'm just biding my time before I come to get you.
