That day the young blond wandered in, looking lost but so familiar, it was only natural to hug him. They had always gotten along well, with gentle natures and common interests in books and mechanics, so it was only natural that they have lunch, which stretched into supper. They went to watch the sun set in the park and it was only natural to sit together. And when their hands touched, it was only natural for their fingers to entwine. When they reached home and soft blue eyes met bright green, it was only natural to gently touch lips. When asked, "Do you love me?" it was only natural to reply, "I always have." After all, it was only natural for Kaine Fuery and Alphonse Elric to be together.
