Thanks for all the great reviews guys. Here is Ch. 2! Oh, and I know that you know that I don't on CSI so why waste time.
She Never Knew
Chapter 2
The rest of shift was pretty uneventful. She had a solo case so she really didn't see anyone else, something she was glad about. Sara now found herself alone in the locker room, preparing to go home. She decided that she would go home to watch West Side Story for the millionth time. Her thoughts were interrupted by someone coming in the locker room. She looked up to see Warrick coming in. He looked pretty worn out and Sara assumed it was from a rough shift.
"Hey Sara" he said dryly.
"Hey" she replied. The two began to gather things in an awkward silence.
"Sara, do you want to go get a drink or something?" Warrick said suddenly, almost causing her to fall of the bench.
"Uh, that's o.k., I mean I don't want to ruin you and Tina's first Valentine's Day together and…."
"There is no more Tina" he said cutting her off.
"Oh Warrick, I'm sorry it didn't work out between you two,"
"Don't be, I mean she wasn't really the one,"
At this point he was staring straight in her eyes. Sara, still surprised by the conversation they were having, stared right back intensely. Sara had always known that he had green eyes but she never really took the time to look at them. They were so beautiful and captivating. For some strange reason she never wanted the moment to end.
"Hey guys, what's up!' a very perky Catherine said as she walked in the locker room.
'Damn, Catherine' Sara thought. She really ruined the moment.
"Hey Warrick, Nick told me what happened, you know, with you and Tina, so I figured maybe you and I can go get a drink or something"
"Thanks for the offer but, I already had plans" He said throwing Sara a quick glance.
"I'll see you ladies later" Warrick said as he left the locker room.
"So Sara, are you doing anything later?" Catherine asked, opening her locker.
"I really don't know." Sara said
She never knew she could be so confused.
