Nuffink reattaches his flight suit while standing on a ledge overlooking the utopian nest, teeming with dragons. Several babies race into hassle Rufrunner as he naps.

"Well, buddy, we can't wait around for Drago to attack this place," Nuffink said, determined to keep this place safe. "We've gotta find him first. Let's go."

Suddenly, a thick hand clamps down over his face - muffling his scream! Rufrunner whirls around to find Hiccup, towering over his son with his hand over his mouth.

He calms Rufrunner with an assuring shush and hand as he releases his son from his grasp.

"Are you kidding me?" Nuffink asked in shock. "How'd you get in here?"

"The same way we're getting you out." Hiccup informed his son.

Nuffink became confused by the statement and looked at his father. "We?"

That's when Hiccup's oldest friend Jack Frost appears in the arch of a tunnel. "All clear!"

"Ruffrunner. Come." Hiccup demanded the dragon as they hurry back into the winding corridor.

"Dad!" Nuffink needed to have a word with his dad after a recent discovery. "There's something you need to know!"

"Yeah, yeah, tell me on the way." Hiccup declared, having enough of this for one day.

"This isn't an on-the-way kind of update, actually..." Nuffink commented.

"I've heard enough, Nuffink." Hiccup started.

"... more of the earth-shattering development variety." Nuffink continued, despite his father's objections.

"Yeah, just add it to the pile." Hiccup tells him.

"Dad, unlike most surprises I spring on you, this is one you'll like. I promise! You just have to handle it delicately, so..."

They round a tight bend in the corridor to find Jack staring blankly at something unseen in the next chamber. He shuffles past Hiccup and Nuffink, dazed by what he had just seen.

"Uh, you might want to take this one," Jack said as he pats Hiccup on the shoulder. He then crossed one arm and placed his head in another. "Oh, boy."

Hiccup figured it was an emergency as he draws his sword, then bravely stepped into the chamber ahead.

"Dad, can you put the sword away...please?" Nuffink begged his father, seeing the situation as delicate enough.

Hiccup looks to one side, but soon his eyes fixed in front of him, the brunette's eyes open surprised.

A woman stood with long platinum hair and blue eyes were there right in front of him. And... He knew that woman very well, for it was someone whom he thought was dead many years ago.

His beloved Elsa... was alive, right there, in front of him. Hiccup lets a surprised gasp escape from his lips, his sword fell from his hand as Nuffink and Jack looked at the brunette, seeing Hiccup was completely paralyzed.

Elsa let out a sigh as she saw how he reacted. "I know what you're going to say, Hiccup. How could I have done this? Stayed away all of these years. And why didn't I come back to you? To our son."

Hiccup steps towards her, wide-eyed and speechless. Dragons emerge from the recesses behind Elsa, hissing protectively for her.

"Well, what sign did I have that you could change, Stoick? That anyone on Berk could?" Elsa continued on. "I pleaded so many times to stop the fighting, to find another answer, but did any of you listen?"

"You see, this is why I never married," Jack commented as he looked at Nuffink. "This and...one other reason."

Hiccup continues to close the gap, mesmerized. With every step, Elsa becomes increasingly flustered. She backs into an ice wall, with nowhere to go, and Hiccup is just a few paces away.

"I know that I left you to raise Nuffink alone... but I thought he'd be better off without me. And I was wrong, I see that now but..." Elsa didn't know what to do as Hiccup gently reaches a hand toward her face. "Oh, stop being so hiccup, Hiccup. Go on... SHOUT, SCREAM, SAY SOMETHING!"

Hiccup reached and placed a hand on her cheek and tears filled his eyes. "You're as beautiful as the day I lost you."

His words snuff her retort, rendering her speechless. She softens despite herself, yielding her cheek to his palm. He caresses her skin as a reluctant tear runs through his fingers. He pulls her into a kiss. She resists briefly, then gives in. The surrounding dragons softly retreat in kind.

Nuffink gapes, warmed by the sight of his parents reunited.
