Renesmee
The next few days go by painfully slowly, everything is so far away. I can't stop thinking about Jake. Where is he? Is he okay? I called Seth to ask if he had heard from him but he was too far away, he couldn't hear his thoughts.
I slept a lot, which makes me forget my sadness. I Played Piano with Dad and had fight training with uncle Jasper to concentrate on something else. Mom, Dad, and Jake insisted that my Uncle should train me, they said: „You never know when you need it." „I know." I answered annoyed. I know why they said that. One day the Vulture might come back and this time they will finish their business so I need to be prepared, we all know that Aro will want to see me one day.
I visit Rachel, Paul, Alex and little Josie. She has so much black hair and tiny little fingers, I can't get enough of her. I don't get to hold many babies so I souk in every second I have with her. The tiny socks she wears make me want to steal them every time! She is so cute and her smell, oh her smell! Why do babies need to smell that good?! „Have you heard of Jake?" I ask Paul, sitting in the lazy boy in front of me. „Sorry kiddo, I can't give you more info than Seth did." I try not to show my defeat. „I'm sure he comes back, he always does." says Rachel but she has worrie in her eyes and sits down next to me. Alex hands me a wooden Toy, a wolf Jake made for him when he was born, and he has made it a small army since then and made one for me too as a kid. „Thank you so much, Alex. ''I say and reach out for the brown wooden wolf, it looks just like Jake.
After I left the Lahote home, I decided that I don't wanna go home immediately and drive down to the water, I don't think I was here alone ever before. I park my car and walk down the little steps to the black-stony beach. The wind blows away my Copper hair as I walk closer to the Sea. I close my eyes and breath slowly in and out. He will come back to me…He will come back to me… I keep repeating the words, hoping that my wish will fly up into the sky reaching someone up there, anybody, so they can help me bring back my Jake. I was kinda hoping that he would stand on top of the stairs when I would turn my back to the water, but he doesn't.
I drive back home, and the seat where Jake would normally sit is empty. I drive up our Forest driveway to the garage, Dad is already waiting for me. I park the car next to Mom and turn off the engine. I have barely stepped out of the car when dad says „Jacob was here." „What?''I held myself on the roof of my car. I need to see him! „he already left." Dad answers my thought „Why?" I say angrily „Why did you let him go, Dad!" „He came to ask where you are and I said La Push and before I could tell him that you would return promptly and before I could say any more he spat off. „Why didn't you chase him!"I can feel the heat on my face rising. „He will return Renesmee. There was no reason to catch up to him. „I need to be there when he returns!"I proclaim and speed out of the Garage door towards the Big house.
