The icy tundra, the giant ice castle far off in the distance, almost obscured by the winter winds. Kara sunk to her knees upon the icy ground, the scarf around her covering face blowing away in the distance. Her blue eyes clear and her long platinum blonde blowing in the wind.
"She's alive…." The sixteen year old Kara softly muttered "she's alive and I can save her…"
"Kara…." Ruby spoke as she crouched down next to her niece and placed a hand on her shoulder, Yuta soon joined in on the other hand as they wrapped their hands around Kara in a comforting manner.
"Why didn't you tell us? We would've helped you" Ruby told her. Kara sighed in response as she took in a deep breath "and tell you what? That I found my real mother after years of my parents lying to me."
Ruby's silver eyes flickered for a moment "don't say that! You know that they did it to protect you. You where just a child Kara what where they supposed to do! Especially your father!" she said almost sternly.
Kara despondently responded with "yeah, yeah I know…" before standing up once more and looking over at the castle in the distance. "There's no time to waste, the Collective could be on our trail in minutes. We need to get there fast."
It felt like forever since those words were spoken.
"I have loved you from the moment I met you…"
Of course Weiss knew. She knew quite clear as ice that Jaune had been enamored with her since day one. But right now, no matter how many times he had confessed to her, serenated her, put his life on the line for her. Right now, in this moment, those words coming from his meant more than ever before.
"Oh Jaune…"
She was at a loss for words as she looked into his eyes. She felt elevated, above the clouds, above the sky, connected only to him. She moved closer into him, unsure if it was the right decision, or the right moment, or the right anything. But she didn't care. Maybe it was all true, maybe in every universe…
Her thoughts where cut short as their lips connected and a warm feeling burned through them both. She could feel the heat connecting him as they kissed. Her heels making sure they where on even height and Jaune had wrapped his muscular arms around her as Weiss's hands hugged his shoulders as they continued their kiss.
She felt hungry. Almost an insatiable urge for more of him.
Weiss deepened the kiss, much to Jaune's surprise as she pushed her tongue to clash against his. He accepted after a while as she moved her hand and intwined it with hers, feeling the warmth between them.
Their mouth separated and for a good moment Weiss looked at Jaune and was almost surprised how he had gotten to look so good. Had it all been true…where they meant to be, only delayed by the fact that another her had taken him in due to the machinations of her adoptive father figure, a being with the power of reality at his fingertips.
And now they where here. Weiss pretending to be the mother of a child that was not hers, though technically also was…she wasn't sure. But she had grown to care for little Kara.
Her gaze returned to a still surprised and heavily breathing Jaune. She looked him up and down like she had won a prize. A fire was burning in her normally cold body.
"That shirt. Off!" Weiss demanded.
Jaune was caught off guard by her sudden demand but nonetheless with a quick "yes ma'am" he complied. Stripping himself of his shirt and letting it land on the ground. Weiss instinctively licked her lips upon looking at Jaune's muscular frame. She moved forward and once more kissed him, this time more passionately and furiously. Her hands roaming all over his back, feeling every firm muscle she could get her hands on.
"Hey guys Qrow wants to meet us…"
The all too familiar voice knocked Weiss out of her bliss induced daze and she turned around to stare as Yang and Blake stood in the doorway, the former trying very hard to hide her snickering. Weiss and Jaune stood there dumbfounded and unsure on how to react.
"Wow guys I know you are committed to the whole parent part but I didn't know you'd be this committed" Yang joked with a smile.
"I will kill you Xiao Long" Weiss huffed angrily as Jaune quickly scrammed to put his shirt back on.
"Whatever you say ice queen. But like I was saying Qrow wants us all to meet up, he says he wants to introduce us to an important someone. So save the sexy time for later alright" Yang said with a wink before she and Blake left, closing the door behind her and leaving Jaune and Weiss standing there with a noticeable red blush on both their faces.
A/N: So finally a new chapter of this story. Not sure I mentioned this but I decided to split this story up into two since the rest of the RWBY Arc of the series is a lot longer then I expected. After that the series will continue branching off in multiple other fandoms. But for now the RWBY arc will be quite something and I'm certainly proud of it. Here's too more chapters soon.
