Ginny ran to her bedroom angry as anything. Luna had bailed out on girl's night out for the last time.

"Oh the meddlesome witch! First she says she's coming and then she doesn't show up at all! What kind of best friend does that! Pshh, what best friend? I don't have one!" Ginny shouted. She slammed the door to her room and turned the portable radio on and flopped on her bed and started crying.

Delicate piano music started playing.

Ginny started feeling guilty. 'When Luna said she couldn't come tonight on the phone she sounded sad.'

' Maybe she was crying. Instead of asking if she was ok, I hung up on her.' She thought to herself.

It was then that Ginny noticed the owl sitting on her desk. It had a letter tied to its leg. Ginny took the parchment in her hand. It was a quick note but it had tearstains all over the parchment.

"Dear Ginny,

I'm sorry I bailed again. My uncle and father were found murdered yesterday morning. Their wake is today. Again I'm sorry.

Your bffl,

Luna Lovegood"


Ginny apparated, the second she read 'murdered', to Luna's flat. There she found Luna crying with heaps of flowers around her.

"Lu? It's Ginny." She whispered putting her hand around her weeping friend.

Luna spoke. "Apparently they were dueling. Neither of them won."

Ginny looked at her friend. "Why didn't you tell me? …I'm here for you, Lu. Oh, and… Gomenasai."

The weeping girl looked up her eyes sparkling with tears and wonder"You got the song then?"

"It means 'I'm Sorry' right?" Ginny asked.

Luna nodded.

The girls arranged all the mourning flowers into the shape of an angel and charmed it so the wings would flutter when the wind blew.

All was forgiven and everything was peaceful again amongst the friends
