Chapter III: A Chad from another world
Ryuu POV
Evening at the Hostess of Fertility.
There aren't many customers this evening, so the atmosphere is not too hectic, and nothing remarkable either. I didn't think the night could be this dead.
"Ryuu there is a customer at table 4, can you take their order?" Syr asked boringly.
"table 4 got it"
I quickly took the order pad, and quickly went to the table to take the order of the customers, but when I arrived at the said table... I was surprised!
"Miss Wallenstein?" she's here with a man? what the?
"Oh hi miss Lion.. uhh can you take our order?.. Honey, what do you want from the menu?" WHAT?! DID I HEAR THAT RIGHT?! did she just call him honey?! What's their relationship? Is this... Ais's boyfriend!?
"Yo! you guys have giant fried toads?" Huh? giant fried toads? what's that?
"Unfortunately we don't have that on the menu"
"Damn that's bad!... uhh do you have any noodle meals? how about ramen?"
"I don't know what ramen is, but with regards to noodles we have spaghetti."
"COOL! ill take a Large spaghetti and Beer, what about you sugar muff?" Sugar muffs? honey?! what the...
"I'll also get what you ordered Honey, but a Orange Juice bottle instead of beer," Aiz says before turning his head back to the guy and staring lovingly.
"OK two spaghetti, a beer, and a Orange Juice, Anything else?"
"uhh, do you know a pharmacy near here? one that sells herbs and...other things.." The man asked dubiously.
"You can try going to the blue pharmacy, owned by Miach Familia, The Dian Cecht Familia also operates a pharmacy but they are more pricey"
"Nah it's cool! money ain't a thing! They don't call me the Billionaire adventurer for nothing!" the DOUCHEBAG answered arrogantly..wait... the billionaire adventurer? HE'S THE BILLIONAIRE ADVENTURER? WOAH
"OK. COOL!" two spaghetti, a beer, and a Glass of OJ coming right up" I quickly said and left their table.
I walked towards the kitchen and passed Syr, ignoring her looks, ill deal with her later.
"Anya two spaghetti large"
"Twow large spaghetti coming right nya!"
after I gave her order, I quickly went to the bar to get a beer and OJ. arriving there I quickly worked when Syr came up beside me and asked questions.
"hey Ryu, can you see that?"
"See What?" I asked Annoyingly while finishing my work
"That!" Syr pointed at the table where Kenki and the guy he's with (also known as billionaire adventurer)
"HUH?" to say I was surprised by what I saw was an understatement... I WAS SHOCKED!... Aiz and the man were French kissing! well, that answers my question, He is Aiz's boyfriend.
"RIGHT?! seeing aiz kissing a guy is shocking.. damn! I thought she and bell had a thing... poor bell..."
When Syr said that, my mind wandered about Bell... If only we could be like that, kissing and dating, caring little about the world!.. too bad he's in love with aiz... HUH? OH, SHIT BELL! does he know this?! to say he would be sad is an understatement... He would be devastated!.. poor bell.
"twow spaghetti ready to be served NYA!" Anya said putting the food into the order window & pulling me out of my trancelike state.
I took the spaghetti, beer, and wine bottle and put them on the tray, then walked to the table of aiz and his man. when I got to their table they were still surprisingly kissing. people in the restaurant are unsurprisingly watching them, some are shocked, while others are annoyed and jealous of the lucky man kissing her.
"uh, guys?" I called their attention
"uhh we're sorry we got lost in the moment," said ais who is blushing like a tomato."
"Damn! Am I really your first? you're a delicious baby!" said her arrogant lover arrogantly... I wanna bash his head.
"of course honey," Ais said proudly
"Ahem," I said before they get lost in their moment again.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" Ais said ais said shyly.
"It's fine here's your order"
I quickly put their food and drinks on their table, and while I was doing it I saw them holding hands as if they were married. is this what love looks like?
After leaving them and walking towards the bar, my mind wandered about Bell again... Are we gonna be like this when we become boyfriend and girlfriend? or if we ever get married! my heart flutters at the thought of it until reality sets in. Bell loves Ais and Ais ONLY! I know for a fact that I have no place in his heart... But Ais is in love with someone else! does he know this? if yes how is he? I need to see him... I have to comfort him...
"Ryuu?" called Syr "Yes?"
"Do you think bell already knows?"
"I do not know" Obviously I don't! "Can I ask you a question?"
"Ask Away"
"Are you happy?"
"What?"
"I know you love bell YOU know you love Bell"
"And?"
"Don't play dumb with me Ryuu! with Ais now taken, the door to Bell's heart is once again open you should be happy!
"I don't know Ryuu... it's hard to be happy seeing bell heartbroken, moreover, I already accepted the fact that I can't have Bell,"
"Preposterous! he'll get over her eventually! plus you lying girl! it's impossible to forget your first love! I know that for a fact!"
"But"
"No buts Ryuu! Come on! Take the night off, ill pick up your slack! Go see him now"
"Are you sure? what if loads of customers suddenly arrive?"
"Anya and I could take the slack don't worry about it!" she said proudly while winking.
"I have a feeling it's all gonna be Anya taking the slack"
"Nonsense! you know I'm a hard worker!"
"Oh, are you know?" I asked sarcastically "Yeah, whatever! now scram! go find your boyfriend or else I will hehehehehe!"
"all right if you said so. tell mama mia ill go out now."
"I'll take care of it! now go!"
I quickly left the bar and went to my room, changing into a black casual dress I also took some perfume and used it on me.
After that, I exited my room and walked towards the hallway, glancing one last time towards Kenki and her lover before exiting the hostess of fertility, and finally walking towards my destination, The Hearth Mansion of the Hestia Familia where Bell Cranel lives.
While walking, my mind wandered about Bell again. Is he ok? does he already know? should I break the news to him if he doesn't? all of that is running through my mind until
"OUCH Look where you're going, missy!"
I accidentally bumped into a man who was already on the floor, and was groaning in pain"
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to...HUH?"
The man I bumped into stopped moaning in pain and stared at me with big bug eyes.
"uhh, are you ok Mister?"
"ARE YOU AN ELF?!" he asked suddenly surprising me.
"Yes, is that a problem?" I answered back.
"uhh"
The man suddenly stood up and approached me, but before he could get any closer I immediately backed away.
"I would highly suggest you keep your distance. you are a stranger after all" "Oh! alright! then I should properly that I introduce myself first"
The man quickly backed away and did a weird pose "My name is Natsuki Subaru. Also known as Star Sage! Not only am I COOL, but I'm also broke beyond compare! Nice to meet you, miss elfy miss." he said with a wink and a sweet smile..that smile that damn smile...
BELL POV
I woke up with the sun already rising, What time is it? I looked at the wall clock, it was already noon! whelp looks like I overslept. Before I get out of bed, however, the bad memories of yesterday flooded my mind again.. I felt my eyes watering again
"Ais why?"
Never have I once taught that my confession would end up like that. Ais in the arms of another man. The person who made me want to grow stronger...for me to be worthy of standing by her side... now belongs to another man.
My tears finally fell and I sobbed silently. Struggling not to draw attention from others.
After crying for about an hour, I'm finally fed up with my pathetic state. I need help to forget! I HAVE TO FORGET ABOUT HER! ALCOHOL!
I quickly got up from my bed and went out the door, I slowly made my way downstairs and into the kitchen to get that sweet alcohol. When I got to the kitchen, I searched the cupboards for wines & spirits, and just as I thought I immediately found Hestia's wine stock!
"JACKPOT"
I hurriedly grabbed a couple of bottles and immediately dashed upstairs back to my room. I didn't even bother to get a glass ILL CHUG THE ENTIRE THING FOR ALL I CARE!"
After returning to my room, I quickly locked the door and uncorked the wine bottle with my bare hands.
"Bottoms Up!"
I said to myself before chugging the entire thing...
"WOAW THAT'S LIT! MORE!"
And so begins Bell's journey into the world of alcoholism.
