Author's Notes

Just a heads up, I am changing up some things in Karl Heisenberg's character. He will be a human mutant but he will be able to turn into a lycan. I just can't see his mutated form from the game in my fic. So just FYI.

My head is throbbing like someone's fist pounding into the front of my head over and over again.

"I can smell her blood under her skin. African blood is pure heaven."

"I found her, and I should be allowed to keep her!"

"I can see it in your face you wish to breed her…"

"Well when you say it like that it sounds almost primitive."

"That's because it IS primitive."

"No one asked you you big bitch!"

"She is very pretty. She can come meet the other dolls!"

"Or maybe she can stay with me in the reservoir…"

"No. No. No! I found her, I'm keeping her!"

"I can feel see how strongly you feel about having a new pet. I can sense your union will be quite… interesting. You may keep her."

I woke up to darkness all around me, the air is thick around me. I blinked a few times to clear my vision and I hear a distance noise… noises actually. I groaned softly, my lips dried and my throat burning. I finally see a ceiling above me and the noises become a bit clearer. It sounds like some type of production is going on. My instincts make me sit up and I moan out in pain a little as I can feel a sharp pain in my lower abdomen. What was going on?

Where am I? I'm in Eastern Europe, the exact location is so foggy my head is still spinning. Trees. Snow, the pale sky. I was traveling through here to see some family on my mom's side. The bus that I was on… something hit us, something big. My mind was foggy again as I tried to figure it out. I looked down to see a black thick blanket over my body. I looked further down to see I was in a bed. I looked around more at my surroundings, but slowly because my head was still pounding. I'm in a big room with wrenches and gears on the walls. In the corner is a big workshop with a table and pictures on the wall. Where am I?

"It seems the young maiden is awake." a male's voice makes me jump, and I looked up to see a figure standing in the shadows of this room. My eyes widened as I leaned back into the bed and pulled the blankets over me. The figure gave what sounded like an amused hum. "Now, now you have nothing to fear from me, my beauty."

Beauty? The figure stepped forward, yet I could hardly see him in the dark. I began to pant gently from the panic that was coming over me from everything going on around me.

"Don't get yourself worked up now. You're safe. You have my word." he said moving over toward the table and suddenly a light came on from the ceiling and I looked up and then at him. Now I could see him. He was an older white man with shoulder length shaggy salt and pepper hair. He turned to me and I could see he had a short beard and wearing black sunglasses? Most of his features was covered by his dark hat. He wore brown pants and a white buttoned up shirt. From the dim light I could see a green shirt underneath the white shirt and black gloves.

The man just watched me now and I shook my head slowly.

"Who are you?" I asked lowly, my voice still hurt. The man smiled and removed his hat placing it over his chest while bowing his head some.

"Of course, where are my manners? I am Karl Heisenberg. And you are Enola Ravenwell." he said. Now I was even more tensed.

"How do you know my name?" I asked now thinking of my purse. I immediately looked around.

"Don't worry Enola. I'm sure you're looking for your purse." he said removing my faded red purse from his coat. I stared at it then at him before he took a few steps closer and just held it out to me. I looked at him with distrust but moved to take hold of my purse. He let it go and I just looked at it. It was covered in dirt and I just opened it to see all of my belongs were inside it. My wallet, my small make up bag. Obviously, he looked through it if he knew my name. However, my passport and my phone were missing.

"I know you probably have hundreds of questions." The man said and I looked up at him as he was no dragging a chair across the room to sit beside the bed.

"My passport and phone." I replied gently and he shook his head waving his hand.

"All safe I assure you. Right now you need to rest. You were in a nasty accident." he said. Accident. The bus, that's right. Something hit us. A creature I couldn't even make out.

"The bus, the other people." I said. He shook head and sighed heavily.

"Couldn't be saved. Very unfortunate. I found you still alive, in the wreckage and brought you here to my factory to recover." he said and I stared at him for a moment taking in his words before looking down at my stomach through the blankets. My coat was gone so I was in my t-shirt and jeans. All of it is dirty and muddy. My shirt has a red stain under it and I slowly lifted my shirt to see white bandages around my stomach. I gasped.

"Now don't worry, you suffered some scratches but that's it. You're healing just fine." Karl said and I looked up at him. I couldn't read him because his glasses hid his eyes. It's not hard to read people from their eyes.

"I… I thank you for saving me. But I need my phone." I said, groaning some as my voice was still hurting and scratchy.

"You need to rest. I'm going to bring you some medicine and then you're going to be just fine here in your new home." he said as he got up and moved from the door. I shook my head in shock, his words echoing in my head as I could feel myself tiring.

"What?" I asked softly.

"Your new home, darling. You're going to like it here. I'm going to show you a world you've never experienced before." he said, his voice echoing all over me now. I groaned panting some as I could feel the sleep weighing on me. I couldn't stop my body from lying back against the bed. "Rest now my beautiful, Enola. I'm going to take good care of you."

I couldn't fight it. My muscles were so relaxed and my eyes just wanted to close, so I let them close.
