Amusing

It was incredible. It was breathtaking. It caused first years everywhere to faint.

It was rich. It was bold. No one alive had ever heard it. Yet no one now could ever forget it.

Some were scared. Some were amused. But most were at least wary. Had he finally lost his mind? (That theory debatable to if he had lost it years ago, of course)

Professor Snape was actually laughing, at something Professor Granger said. Not at her hair, wardrobe, or house. Was that possible?

But as he leaned in and kissed her, all possiblities were further forgotten by all.

Disreguard

The sky was grey, cloudy, and heavy. It was dark. It was damp. But mostly, it was forbidding.

But the rain pat, pat, pattered on, with disreguard for who was or wasn't listening, or who did or didn't care. The thunder rolled with disreguard for who could or couldn't be listening. And the lightening flashed with disreguard for what it did or didn't reveal. And it revealed a lot...

It revealed two lovers, embraced, loving, caring, caressing, with as much disreguard for anything or anyone around them as the elements themselves.

"I love the rain." Soft words lost in the storm.

Title: Drinking

Characters: Hermione/Severus

Drinking

It was interesting, to say the least. She hadn't seen him in at least three years, she had graduated five years ago. Now that the war was over, there was no more bumping into him at headquarters, that was sad really. But what was interesting was that she definitely hadn't drank enough to fabricate the image of Severus Snape staring at her from across the bar.

As he began walking, her heart began racing.

"Am I looking in the Mirror of Erised?"

"Excuse me?" Maybe she had had too much to drink after all.

"'Cause you're exactly what I desire."
