For those who are wondering where the heck I've been the past month: I've been suffering a horrible amount of writer's block. Personal issues have hindered my creativity a bit. Hopefully soon I'll be back on track. For now though, here's a short drabble I wrote in August but never posted.

He followed her.
Unsure of his actions, she led him on. Although she herself was not completely certain of what she was doing.
Her hands, her heart, her words, her body- guiding him through their first dance of love.
His voice whispering her name as they sealed their commitment to each other with a sweet kiss.
Her sigh escaping her lips as she curled up contentedly in his arms, eyes slipping closed as the light of dawn seeped into their room.
And as InuYasha lay there- mind full of thought, the woman his heart had grown to overflow with love for sleeping soundly in his arms… he knew one thing:
He'd follow her forever.

I think a lot of people forget how innocent InuYasha is. He wouldn't know at all what to do in this situation like this, and I think it's sad that fanfic authors abandon that at times to make him so sexually driven. It's part of what I love best about him as a character. He's been through so much, yet still carries that insecurity, shyness, innocence, and naivete under his gruff exterior. That is so sweet. So yes, a little bit of showing that as well as his devotion towards her--- that was the point of this drabble. Hope it worked. Let me know what you think. :)
