Okay... God Complex is obviously a story about Akito. It features some of the insane things Akito thinks she can do as God... So enjoy.
Disclaimer: I own... NONE.
"As God," Akito began to explain to Kureno one afternoon as they walked down the many long hallways in the Sohma Estate. "I can do many things. Maybe, as some call them, even super powers."
Kureno eyed his God. He was hesitent to say anything. Maybe it was best not to. At times like this, he wondered why Hatori hadn't driven off yet. He was the only Sohma with a drivers license, afterall.
"What exactly can you do?"
"Stupid," Akito practically spat as they reached the end of the line and turned sharply into a room painted all white. "I can do lots of things!"
"Such as?" Kureno asked, very politely mind you. He didn't want one of his eyes ripped out. "I mean, I haven't seen any of them. Which is why I ask, my God."
Akito chuckled. "I see. I shall have to explain then. Come sit," She motioned towards a bed in the center of the room. He sat. She coughed.
"As God," She began once again. "I can create and destory entire universes."
Kureno almost gagged on the saliva he had gathering in his mouth. She was kidding, right? No way was she serious, was she? Kureno gave her a look.
"Kureno, do you dare deny that I am God? Cannot God do these things?"
"Yes, Master Akito," Kureno sighed and feebly nodded. Best not to get on the bad side of Akito.
"Also as God," She continued. "I can shoot lightning from the sky. Can even change weather patterns,"
"Would you care to show me?" Kureno asked. This he had to see. Although he did not believe his God, he didn't want to let her get away with lying.
"Alright, to the window then!"
To the window they walked. Akito raised one hand and graced it across the glass. The other hand rested against her cheek, a single finger pulsating across her temple.
"Sky... from sun to rain..." She muttered lightly under her breath. The sky stayed the same.
"God himself must not wish for me to change the weather," Akito concluded, before shooing Kureno from the window and towards the bed. She silently cursed the sky.
"What else can you do?"
"I can create poverty!" She bellowed like a maniac. "It was I, who ruined Africa! It was me!"
Kureno rested a hand across Akito's frail shoulder. "Akito, Africa was living in povery well before you were born, may I point out,"
Akito's eyes shot open and she glared at him. "Shut up! You dare defy me?"
"Not at all, Akito. But truthes must be told,"
Akito stumbled towards the door. She seemed distressed and in need of aid. Coughing, she collapsed to the floor. Kureno an to her side and asked if she was alright. Hatori was called and Kureno carried her to her bed.
"But the best thing I can do as God," Akito mumbled. "Is..."
I can make all the attention come to me with a lift of my finger.
