Magical Alien Summer EP 35: Night of the Timber-Wolf
In Arizona, The Tennysons were making a stop at a small village to meet an old friend of Max's, Wes Greene. "Navajo legend says that that the web of the dream catcher protects the dreamer by holding the nightmares in the center while letting good dreams travel down the feathers to please the person sleeping." Wes explains as they left a stand as Dan, not having his jacket due to the heat, yawns out in boredom. "Speaking of sleeping..." Kate scoffs out as Ken drags Dan along as the Omnitrix welder scratches his chest in boredom. "I know Mr. Greene is Grandpa's old buddy. But I can't believe I ran all the way here as XLR8 for this snooze fest. I thought Grandpa said exciting things will happened on this trip. But could it get anymore-"
He stops as he spots a Navajo girl his age, sporting a blue with red stripes dress, headband and bands on her wrist as she dances. She has brown eyes and long black hair in a low ponytail and red shoes with white socks. As Dan kept staring, he found one word that can describe the girl: Beautiful. "Cooler..." Dan smiles out a lovestruck look and ran up to the elders. "That's my granddaughter, Kai." "Last I saw her, Wes, she was barely walking, now look at her." Max smiles at his friend.
As the drums kept beating and tambourines play, Kai kept dancing as Wes explains. "She's performing a ceremony Navajo dance." "You know, I was hoping to see one those before summer ends." "Since when are you interested in Native American spiritual dance?" Kate asked with suspicion as Dan responds. "I picked up a couple of new interests during my time in Equestria and in Canterlot City, dweeb." He crossed his arms as well.
The dance ends as the people claps in applause as Kai bows as well, walking to her grandfather as Dan quickly took off his cap and licks his hair to smooth it down and straighten his shirt, making him gain a goofy grin as Kai passed by him. Just then, Ken notices storm clouds are approaching as he asked Kai. "Did you do a rain dance, by any chance?" "No. Why?" "That's why!" His cousin points out as she gestures to the dark stormy clouds.
Suddenly, purple lighting crashed into the ground, nearly strike some people as they scream and run as rain pours down. "Quick! Into the Rust Bucket!" Max cries out everyone heads towards the RV. Well, everyone except for Dan, who is too busy staring at Kai in his lovestruck mood. But just then, a bolt crashed behind him as he looks back in wide eye surprise to see a large, hulking shadow with glowing purple eyes, glaring down on him as Dan whimpers out. "Anyone want to ask that thing for an umbrella?"
Intro:
A Galaxy is shown with some planets as outer space music is heard.
Just for a flash of green light to occur and shows the Omnitrix symbol with Dan's silhouette in the middle as the song picks up.
"It started when an alien device did what it did."
The 1st clip is Dan, discovering the Omnitrix as it latches onto his arm as he panics.
He then presses down on the dial as it transforms him into Heatblast as he cries out.
"And stuck itself upon his wrist with secrets that it hid."
"Now he's got superpowers, he's no ordinary kid. He's Dan 10! (Dan 10!)"
The logo flashes a bit, before showing off aliens:
Grey Matter, Overflow, Shock Rock, Heatblast, Tear-Wolf, Goop and Astrodactyl.
"So if you see him, you might be in for a big surprise."
"He'll turn into an alien before your very eyes!"
The boy is then shown transforming into Tear-Wolf as 6 more aliens appear and zooms in:
Goop, Shock Rock, XLR8, Humungousaur, Heatblast and Tear-Wolf.
" He's slimy, freaky, fast and strong, he's every shape and size."
"He's Dan 10! (Dan 10!)"
Just then, a flash-animated Dan is running towards the screen and then flips and morphs into Tear-Wolf.
He bites at the screen as a black and green '1'. appear next to him.
2: Humungousaur is next as he grins and slams his tail down, making a sonic blast.
3: Grey Matter leaps at the screen, only to go splat in a comic fashion.
4: XLR8 appears and zooms away.
"Armed with powers, he's on the case!"
"Fighting off evil from Earth or space!"
5: Upgrade wiggles his legs around as he raises his arms.
6: Shock Rock generates lots of power and blasted a large beam of blue energy across the screen.
7: Overflow flies upward on his water blasts.
8: Astrodactyl displays his whips and then rockets away on his jetpack.
"He'll never stop 'till he makes them pay!"
"'Cause he's the baddest kid to ever save the day!"
9: Goop emerges out of his puddle form and throws a long punch in the air.
10: Heatblast chucks a fireball at the screen as Dan himself lands on the ground with his fist, cracking it as he gives a big grin.
"Dan 10! (Dan 10! D-D-D-Dan! Dan 10! D-D-D-Dan!)"
Tear-Wolf is then shown leaping form some trees as he looks fierce.
Shock Rock poses as he finishes transforming.
Sunset and the Rainbooms are shown powering up into their magic forms.
Heatblast chucks a fireball.
Dan is then shown slapping down on the Omnitrix.
The Mane 6, Spike, the royal sisters, the royal crystal family, Discord, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and reformed Changelings and Dan in griffon form stood together as they glare at an adversity as the Omnitrix boy just smirks with crossed arms.
Twilight is shown fight a giant bird monster as she uses her Geode's magic to slam it down on the ground.
Humungousaur roars out as he finishes transforming.
XLR8 is shown running on top of water.
The opening finishes up as the aliens all got sucked into the Omnitrix as Dan shows it while green rays came from it as the title appear next to him.
Dan 10: Magical Alien Summer.
The beast narrows his eyes at the child and took off. But before anyone can do anything, a rumble caught Wes Greene's ear as he looks back to see a flood heading there way! "FLASH FLOOD!" They quickly went up the rooftops and onto the top of the Rust Bucket, but as Kai was climbing up, the flood hits as she struggles to hold on, only to let go as she is carried by the stream! "Help!" "Going Overflow!" Dan cries out as he dials towards his water hero, but when he slaps down the watch, nothing happened as he is still human. The boy didn't have to time to wonder what when wrong as he spot Kai in danger! "Okay... Going as myself!" "Cuz!" He looks back at Ken, holding on his hoverboard. "Catch!" Throwing Dan's board, the boy grabs it and smirks out, glad he decided to bring his Hoverboard along, in case he times out along the way. "Thanks, Ken!"
He quickly rushes after Kai and throws down his board, getting on as he rode it above the stream as he went after the girl. "Help!" "Grab my hand!" Dan cries out as he took hold and pull her up onto the board behind him. "Look out!" She points up ahead at a wall as Dan frowns out. "Hold on! This is going to be rough!" The girl wraps her arms around the Omnitrix welder as he grabs his board and pulls up, riding up the wall and did a backwards flip and lands onto a roof as they came to a stop.
As the kids recover, Kai breaths as she smiles at Dan. "Thank you. But can I-" "Repay me? Forget it!" Dan smirks out as he kicks up his board. "I'm one of those leap 1st, look 2nd kind of guys." "That's nice... But what I meant was can have my hand back, now?" Dan widens his eyes as he glanced down to his left hand is still holding Kai's right as he lets go with a blush and a sheepish grin. Only for the both of them to hear a noise as they glance back and up to see the creature, tearing off a satellite dish as it vanished in a flash of lighting as Kai spoke out. "What was that thing?" "I don't know."
Later at a museum, the Tennysons and the Greenes were in front of a tapestry that shows a wolf like creature as the elder Greene breaths out. "I never thought I would see one." "One what?" "A Yenaldooshi. A Navajo werewolf. I though they only existed in folklore." Wes gestures to a tapestry that shows a werewolf figure on it. "There presence is a sign of pure evil! I must find it! I'll tranquillize it and bag it." The man states as he preps his gun as Max told his friend. "I'll go with you." "Count me!" Dan smiles out with his fists on his hips.
"Me too, Grandpa!" Kai spoke out, only for Wes to frown at his granddaughter and explains. "You know only braves can be trackers, Kai." "Who made up that rule?!" Kate frowns out as Ken points out. "It was around the 16th century, when early Native Americans made that rule so the women could be protected as it was belief..." Ken stops as he noticed the sour look from Kate as he took a step back. "Never mind."
"Times change, but traditions don't. You and Kai will remain behind." Kai walks away with a frown as Kate protests. "But!" Max quickly stops his granddaughter as he states out. "There land. There rules, Kate." Max follows after Wes with Ken as Dan looks at a pouting Kai. "Kai seems bummed. Maybe I can cheer her up!" "Since when do you care about what girls care about?" Dan raises an eyebrow at his sister and pulls out his phone, gesturing to the pictures of all the cool and fun summer stuff he did with Sunset and the others and some photos of him in Equestria as well. "Oh... Right."
But as Kate was about to walk off, her mind finally clicks at it finally dawns on why her little brother is so interested in Kai! "Wait a sec! I get it now! You like her! Like, like her like her!" "What?! No way!" Dan denies as Kate got a teasing look and sings out. "Dan's got a crush! Dan's got a crush!" "Knock it off, Kate! Besides, if the others find out, especially Pinkie and Rarity, they will totally embarrass me! I can't even think of what they'll do and say." Dan shudders out as Kate ponders and realizes her brother may have a point. "Good point."
And so, the hunt is on as Wes looks at some leaf remines on the ground as Dan, Ken and Max were with him on a rocky trail into the local canyon. "You know, this reminds me of when we went after the Yeti up in the Himalayas that time." Max mentions as Dan points at Wes in surprise. "Whoa! You're a Plumber!?" "Makes sense, doofus. Mr. Green is Grandpa's old friend, so clearly, he was a Plumber." Ken frowns at Dan's naive as the younger boy frown back. "Rude." "Ken is right. It appears the prints lead this way." Wes points deeper into the valley as the males all looks down as the moonlight shines the way.
Meanwhile at the village, the girls were sitting on a rooftop, looking up and enjoying the star-filled night sky. "So... My little brother saved you, huh?" "Yeah... He seems pretty cool." Kate responds back to younger girl with a smirk. "And by 'cool', do you mean like a 9 out of 10 on the 'dork meter'?" But just then, a wolf's howl can be heard coming from the Rocky Mountains as both girls looks out, wondering if the Yenaldooshi made that sound, they are hoping the boys are okay.
Back with the guys, they took a peek down below from ledge to see a bunch of scarp and junk in a junk-yard like area as they spot the beast itself, tearing at the metal as sparks fly all over. But just as Wes took aim with his gun, the wolf's ear picks up on him and charges at the group as Wes fires, but it keeps dodging as it leaps over in lighting like speed. As they look back, the beast knocks them off the rock bridge they were on and falls down into the raven with screams. But Dan smiles as he dials in the Omnitrix. "Time to go pure Astrodactyl" FLASH
Wes gasped in shock at Dan's transformation as Ken cries out. "Dan! Do something!" Overflow looks at himself and cries out in dismay! "Oh man! Now it gives me Overflow!" But nonetheless, he got to work, ushing his water propulsion to grab the others and slows to a safe stop above the rocky ground, letting them off as he rockets upward, all while Wes is surprised and glanced at the other 2 Tennysons as Max chuckles. "Yeah... I know. I have some explaining to do." "It's a funny and long story, Mr. Green." Ken shrugs out.
As the Yenaldooshi use it's claws to scale up a mountain to a flat land, it runs forward, only to get blasted away by water from Overflow. "Looks like fido needs a bath!" But as Overflow smugly approached the down wolf, the moonlight reveals its appearance as the alien is shocked! The werewolf is not made out of flesh, bone and fur, but rather wood, rocks and leaves! It is colored white, grey and sliver for a long flowing leaf mane down it's back. It has a humanoid appearance with back bending legs with 3 claws on it and its front paws are now hand like with 4 raking claws on them. It has a mouth full of sharp sticks as fangs and has purple glowing eyes as it has bit of a bulky look with a tail made out of the same leaves as well, making it look like a long bush.
"A TIMBERWOLF!?" Overflow cries out as he recognizes the creature from his visits to Equestria, having encounter and took care of some whenever he visits Zecora. The being tackles Overflow and snarls out as the 2 struggles with each other. "What is a Timberwolf doing out of Equestria and all the way out here!? As a matter of fact, how did you become a werewolf?! And why is your breath so bad, bark brain?! Ever heard of mouth wash!?" The being snarls out as it bit down on Overflow's black bicep. Luckly, the teeth didn't penetrate the armor. In fact, the fangs shattered as the wolf reals back as it whimpers in pain as it holds it mouth.
"Ok! No more mister nice alien!" He blasted the Timber Werewolf off of him and use his hydrokinetic powers to trap it in a bubble, leaving it vulnerable as Overflow then leap up and rockets towards it and delivers his 'Aqua Kick', knocking the beast into a rock. He quickly creates water whips and lassos the Timber Werewolf, swinging it around and slamming it down hard. But Overflow notices that is regenerating as it recovers while growing new teeth. "Man! This thing can take punishment better than a regular Timberwolf." BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP Overflow widen his eyes as he glances down to see the Omnitrix is blinking red and timing out! "Not now!" FLASH
The Timber Werewolf notice as it growls out and narrows its purple eyes as Dan smiles out with worriment. "Uhh... That breath and mouth wash thing? It's more of advice than an insult, if you think about it." But it didn't work as Dan scream as he runs from the attacking monster. As Dan holds the Omnitrix out in defense, the Timber Werewolf swipes it with its claws and caused sparks to fly! Dan lands down with a thud, only for Max to cry out as he and Wes runs towards them! "Dan!" Dan glances back and then at the Timber Werewolf as it retreats as the elders watch it run away. But as the boy got up, he noticed the watch's dial starts rotating as it switches between green and yellow as it displays a glitchy Tear-Wolf's icon, but the kid shrugs it off.
At the Rust Bucket, Dan watches Kai as she is talking with Ken and her grandpa and his grandpa as they were talking to some locals. "So, Kai said anything about me?" "Maybe... Maybe not." "Kate!" Dan frowns at his sister with crossed arms as the girl responds. "Just don't seem overly interested. Girls can smell desperate a mile away." "Right..." Dan noted as the teen switches the topic. "So, anyway, you sure that Yenaldooshi was really a Timber Wolf?" "Positive! Except it was colored white and grey, like a snow wolf! And it also stood on 2 legs, making it a Timber Werewolf! But what I don't get is why would an Equestria creature be in the desert in our world, and how did it even get here?!"
"Beats me!" Kate shrugs out as she gives a statement. "The only way in and out of Equestria is through the Mirror portal. But since Princess Twilight keeps it under wraps, the Timber Werewolf shouldn't even get near her castle without her or Spike and Starlight knowing!" Dan ponders out the info as he rubs his finger and thumb on his chin. "So, it either managed to sneak pass them..." "Or, found a new portal of its own!" Kate finished the sentence as she snaps her fingers in response.
The others came over as Ken points behind him. "All the people left the reservation." "They fear the Yenaldooshi's return. And with tonight's full moon, it's power will grow." Both siblings glanced at each other as they were not sure how to explain to Wes how the 'Yenaldooshi' is really a magic creature from another dimension. "Should we tell them?" "It's best if they see it for themselves, little brother."
"By the way, Dan. My grandpa told me what you did." Smiling out at Kai, Dan starts flaunting his ego. "Yep! It's just one of my many talents. I don't like talking about it." "I understand-" "But I'm this total superhero, 24/7!" "So, like, what thing have you done?" But as Kai asked that, Dan start scratching for some reason, getting this sudden itch that showed up out of nowhere. "Oh, you know... Arrest crooks... Take down aliens and monsters... Tangling with super villains... Save Mankind..." "Scratching yourself like a monkey?" Kate taunts her brother as she pretends to act like a monkey as Dan kept scratching all over.
"Something wrong, Dan? You look like you're infected with poison ivy?" Ken asked his cousin as he kept scratching. "I don't know... But I'm just itchy for some reason! Kate, can you come over and scratch my back?" "My fingers on your back? I rather pull out my nails, one-by-one!" Kate exclaims in disgust as Dan sat on the ground and took off his shoes and socks to scratch his feet. But as Dan kept scratching, his skin turns grey as he starts scratching his ear like a dog with his foot.
As they notice Dan slowly changing, Kai spoke out. "Dan? Your face is-" "Handsome? I get that a lot." "I meant hairy." Confused, Dan felt his face as he touched sideburns as Ken brought out a mirror as Kate asked out. "Dan, what's going on with you?" At the sight of the mirror, Dan saw that his hair became longer and shaggy as it extends to sharp sideburns as his teeth became small fangs and his ear became pointed. The boy gasped in shock as he glanced at his hands, now having 4 fingers and small white claws on them. "So, this isn't one of your superheroes?" "Noooooooo..." Dan howls out to Kai's question as the moon shines down on them.
As Dan looks as his feet that now has claws as well, Wes asked the boy. "Were you bitten by the Yenaldooshi?" "Only when I was Overflow. But it didn't even puncture the armor! In fact, its teeth broke!" "Dan, this is serious. The Yenaldooshi can create others in its image. And when it does, those followers will seek to destroy those closest to them." "Lucky, we don't like each other, right?" Kate smirks out as Max questions his old friend. "So, how does Dan un-wolfs himself?" "The only way is to stop the Yenaldooshi." "Are you going to use silver bullets?" Ken askes out as the elder Native answers. "That's only in the movies. You must dip a sliver pendent in the juice of the Arbol Del Matrimonio Cactus and place it against its heart. And we must do it before tonight's full moon, or you can remain like that forever!" Dan gulps out in dread at news as he whispers out. "Forever?"
"The Navajo also believe the Yenaldooshi is a god." "You know, a little back hair isn't so bad." Ken shook his head at his cousin's response to his crush's fact. "Dan... That is not something you say to a girl you like." He facepalms as well as Wes leaves. "I'll get the pendent." Just then, Dan spot a nearby cow as he licks his lips. "Hey, is anyone hungry? Because suddenly, I feel like I can eat a-" "Don't say it!" Kate frowns out as the kid shrugs with a smile.
Inside the Rust Bucket, the girls were at the table as they look at Kate's laptop as Dan pours a bunch of eggs into a large bowl and then some milk. The wolf kid grins and licks his lips as he starts scarfing down, face-first. Only to stop as he noticed the mess he made on the computer and on an unamused Kai, making the boy chuckle out as he holds out a napkin. "Uhh... Napkin?" "Great... My cousin is turning into a were-wolf and he's totally bombing it with a girl! Sometimes, I wish I went to summer camp, instead." Ken groans out from the back of the RV from his book as he facepalms at his little cousin is becoming more animal and it messing up his chances with Kai!
As Kate looks up the cactus on a website, Dan rushed towards the fridge for more food. "Let's see what else I can wolf down! Get it?! Get it?" But as Dan chuckles at his pun, they all heard Dan growing as they glanced to see he is now adult size and gain some muscle mass as his skin is now grey-sliver fur as his noise became black on his human like face as his teeth became sharper as his ears move to the top of his head. His feet now became 3 toes with white claws on them as his eye became all green. "You're looking more and more like a Yenaldooshi." Kai points out as Dan devores a whole chicken. "Well, I still feel like just me."
"I don't know..." Ken ponders out as he gets a closer look. "I can't put my finger on it, but there's something familiar about your transformation, Dan. I feel like we've seen this happen to you before." "Really? Huh... Now that you mention it, this form of mine does ring a bell." He mumbles as he glanced at a mirror. But just then, a scent caught his noise as he leaps outside, spotting a rabbit as he growls and runs after, barking like a dog as it went into a hole at the sight of the fearsome predator as Dan quickly dug into the ground, hoping to get his next meal out. But stop when he looks between his legs to see dirt on a frowning Kai as Kate snickers. "Guess you can teach a new wolf dumb tricks." Ken facepalms again. "Uhhh... Sorry." Dan whimpers out to his crush, feeling more embarrassed.
Just then, Wes arrives as he told some news. "The NASA tracking station on the north ridge was just destroyed by some sort of werewolf. It almost ripped apart the guards there." "What did it want?" "It took some satellite equipment." Wes answers Max as Dan points out. "And it ripped down that receiver you guys had. What does it what?" "Obviously, it's angry that technology has invaded what is considered its sacred land. We need to find the Yenaldooshi, and find it fast!"
"You won't be able to look for both the Yenaldooshi and the cactus." Kate adds to Kai's point. "So, let Kai and me look for the cactus." "Once we find it, we'll call." Wes nods at his granddaughter as he and Max left. "Be careful." Surprised at both Dan and Kai saying the same thing at once, Kate got a grossed look. "I think I'm going to puke." But as the girls left, Dan starts thinking as Ken notices. "Something on your mind?" "Timberwolves care only about hunting their prey and defending their territory. Why is this one so interested in satellite technology?" "Good point... But I doubt our wooden friend will answer us. If we catch that thing, maybe we can find the stuff it stole." Dan nods at his cousin as they both went after the elders.
The group of males arrived at some ruins as Max and Ken shine flashlights everywhere as Wes got his gun out. "The foot prints end here." As they look around, Wes felt something behind him and looks back. "I sense it's prescience." "There!" They spot a shadow on a rock as Wes took aim and fires at it. But to his surprise, it deploys a steel shield on its right arm and blocks the dart. "Guys! It's me!" "Danwolf?" Max asked his grandson as they shine lights on him.
"Actually, Tear-wolf!" And boy is he right as he is now Tear-wolf! Only he now wearing his human clothes as the Omnitrix replaces his left gauntlet and has no shoulder pad on his left arm. "What?! But, how!?" Max is shocked as Ken snaps his fingers. "I knew he looked familiar before! The last 2 forms were just as Dan turning into Tear-wolf, slowly!" "And before you ask, Grandpa. I didn't mess with the watch!"
"Either way, we still need the cactus!" Wes checks his phone to grunt at no signal. "No signal... we'll have to summon them another way." He quickly took out a flare gun from his backpack.
"The Canyon De Chelly is a sacred place. It's where our spirits go." Kai explains as the girls were walking through a cactus patch as Kate complains. "Well, maybe the spirits can help us find that cactus, because I'm ready to give up." Kate sat down and yelped outwards into the air as she held her bottom and fell face-first into the ground with prickles and vines in her bottom, twitching as Kai smiles out. "The arbol del matrimonio! I guess the spirits work in strange ways."
"And painful ones..." The teen groaned as she reaches behind and pulls the thrones and vines out with yipes of pain. "No phone signal..." Kai groans out as she glances at her cell, only for both to look up and saw a flash of light in the sky and gasped at once when they saw the flare shoot up in the sky before it disappeared. "Over there!" Kate said. "They must be sending us a signal."
Back with the guys, Wes stores his gun as Max spoke out. "I hope they found the cactus." But suddenly, some rocks tumbling down caught their ears as they glance back to see the Timber Werewolf, snarling down at them as it leaps down and snarls, revealing its appearance as Dan told the shocked elders. "Told you 2 it's a Timber Werewolf! Hey, bark brain! Remember me?!" He stomps forwards and snarls as he pounds his fist into his palm as the wooden wolf creature growls out it's fangs and narrows his eyes.
"So, that means no sliver pendent is needed?" Max asks as the Timber Werewolf lunges, only for Tear-wolf to throw it over his shoulder in response. "Yep! And it doesn't need anything to take us out." Just then, the Timber Werewolf blasts out a purple sonic wave from its mouth in the form of a howl that pushed them back. "Wait a sec! Since when can Timberwolves do that?!" Tear-wolf cries out in surprise as Ken cries out. "Guess this dog's got a few new tricks."
Tear-wolf charges as the 2 wolf like beings brawl it out, exchanging punches, bites, claw slashes and slams as they wrestle like dogs over a piece of steak. As the 2 got into a grapple, Max charges in with a stick. "Back off, now!" Only for the weapon to broken on contact as the Timber Werewolf snarls at a frighten Max as its gas breath emits from its mouth. As Tear-wolf stood up, he looks at his wrist to find the Omnitrix has disappeared! "What?! Where did it go!?" He then focuses and forms his iron hands and runs over and slam it into the Timber Werewolf, making it broke some of its jaw and neck part as the alien grins out, only to drop as it reattaches back as the beast narrows its glowing eyes in response.
Just as the girls arrived, they were surprised at the Timber Werewolf as Ken explains. "Long story short, that's not really a Yenaldooshi and is really a magical wolf creature from Equestria!" Suddenly, the Timber Werewolf tosses Tear-wolf next to the others and roars, leaping up and running off up the cliffside and leaving them all looking on. "I guess we don't need the cactus huh, grandpa?" Kai asks as Kate spoke out. "What I want to know is how on Earth a wolf creature from another dimension is here?! Dan?" "Don't look at me, sis! I don't know how it got here."
Suddenly, he grimaces in pain and started twitching before he hit his hands and knees to the ground and convulsed before he looked to see his clothes change into his usually outfit as his iron shoulder pad form on his left arm as the Omnitrix belt shows up. "Well, at least you're now fully Tear-wolf." Ken comments as the alien ask out. "But what I don't get is why did I slowly turned into Tear-wolf instead of an instant transformation like the other times?" "Well, did that thing touch the watch or something?"
At Kate's question, Tear-wolf remembers now as he flashes back to when the Timber Werewolf swiped at the watch and made it glow yellow. "Right! When we were fighting! It scratched it with its claws and it glowed yellow, but it also displayed Tear-wolf's icon as it was fritzy as well!" Ken theorizes. "It must have activated some sort of scan mode of the watch and also caused a minor glitch as well." Max scratches his head in befuddlement. "An interdimensional wolf creature from a magic world? Just when I thought this summer couldn't get any weirder."
"Oh, man!" Tear-wolf facepalms himself as his grandfather is confused at his reaction. "What?" "Well, if I knew that I could become different aliens if they touched the watch, I'd have let them scratch it a long time ago. I would be a pretty awesome Vilgax!" "But right now, I'm just worried about you being Dan." Kate states, only for an earthquake to cut her off. "Something tells me we have other concerns as well." Wes said. "Tell me about it." Kai adds out.
The group then walked towards a cave as Wes examines some tracks, only to hear screeching as they look up and cries and screams out in surprise at a bunch of bats flying past them. Except for Tear-wolf as he just chuckles at their reactions. They all then went into the cave, wondering down the dark passageway for a bit until Kate sniffs the air. "Do you smell that?" "What? You know my wolf breath's not that bad, before." "No, cuz. I smell it as well." Ken states as he sniffs as well. "A sulfur smell is the sign of lava." Wes explains. "But these volcanoes in here have all been dormant for millions of years."
Only for an orange glow behind to catch their attention as Tear-wolf points out. "So, that's not real lava?" They saw hot magma being poured in as Ken gulps out. "No! That's 100% real!" They all quickly took off as fast as they can! "The Timber Werewolf must have reactivated the volcano somehow." Max said. "It must want us off our land, one way or the other!" Wes said as they arrived at a clearing that had a path that led to the other side, but the outside was broken.
But as lava pours in from the cave, cutting their way back, Tear-wolf cries out as he grabs and throws Wes and Max on his back and the others in his arms. "Time to see how far this big bad wolf can jump! Hang on!" He got a running start and uses his leg muscles to spring high and forward, barley making it to the other side. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP FLASH
Dan glances at himself and smiles. "Finally! The Omnitrix timed out, at last!" He checks it as it displays Tear-wolf's icon. "Guess that means you're staying away from Tear-wolf for a while after this, huh?" Dan smirks at his sister's question as they continue on. As the group made their way down a path, they managed to spot an exit at last! "Finally! A way out!" Ken exclaims. "So, I wonder where that satellite equipment the werewolf took is?" Max asked.
They then heard a rustling of stones nearby as they looked to see the werewolf leap in front of them with a glare. The Timber Werewolf fires a sonic howl as they dodge out of the way as Dan glares at it. "Enough is enough. Going hero!" FLASH
The Omnitrix sank into his wrist and his entire body started to bloat into a more rounded shape as he clutched his eyes shut. And when he opened them again, they were fully green. His body was covered in yellow armored plates with a white inner body with black markings on his eyes and the Omnitrix symbol appeared on his forehead. He spun his body around like a ball before striking a pose as his transformation finished.
"Yes! Finally!" Cannonbolt exclaims in glee at getting an alien he wants at last! The Timber Werewolf charges at him, but Cannonbolt merely bounce it off and then rolls up, charging as it slams into the Equestria creature and launches up, bouncing off the celling to body slam the Timberwolf and sending pieces all over. As the others watch the dust cloud, they saw the pieces getting reconnected and reform as the Timber Werewolf chucks Cannonbolt into a wall, lodging into it.
Cannonbolt then adjusted himself and finally lodged himself out of the wall... at the cost of letting the volcanic crater outwards, sending out the lava again. Everyone gasped as the volcanic crater opened up again, sending the lava flowing throughout the caves. "We can't let this lava flow go down the mountain side and reach the village!" Wes said. "I'll seal it all up, go!" Cannonbolt shouted as he and the Timber Werewolf wrestle with each other as the platform separate them from the lava flow. "DAN! NO!" Max cries out in vain at his grandson as Cannonbolt cries out. "Just go!"
And so, despite reluctance from Max, the others all ran out of the cave as Kate started screaming out in effort while Kai looked behind her at the lava flow and her eyes widened as they finally made it out of the cave, where an explosion occurred behind them. Everyone gasped as they looked behind them and saw that the cave was sealed by tons of boulders blocking the exit. "Dan..." Kate whispers out in disbelief, only for the ground to start shifting as Cannonball burst out of the ground and lands, smirking out. "Oh yeah! Shell power!" The others smile in relief that Dan made it out, safe and sound!
The next day, things were returning to normal at the village. Wes spoke to a couple of people and told the others. "Good news. It seems a few people are returning. Thank you." "Yeah... it was nothing." Dan grins out as Kai asked out. "What do you think that Timberwolf wanted, anyway?" "Since we never found any of your satellite equipment or that receiver, I can't say for sure." Max answers. Dan states out as he looks at the Omnitrix as its display's Tear-wolf's icon. "Who cares, we kicked his butt! And now that I know the watch can scan Alien DNA, I can start adding new guys to my collection." Wes then spoke to Max. "Come into the Museum. Can't send you away without a few souvenirs."
Dan then decides to talk to Kai. "Well, I better be going as well. Got a long flight/run back to Canterlot City! If you and your grandpa is interested, Kai, the city's Museum's got a wing on Navajo things as well. Maybe you'll stop by for a visit?" "That's a nice offer, Dan. And you are a great guy, despite your faults. But the thing is Dan... I'm not interested." "Wha?!" Dan is shocked at Kai's rejection, surprised as he asked out. "Why? I thought you like me!?" "Yeah! I do! Just as a friend. Look, Dan. I understand that you really like me. But I'm not interested in dating right now. I kind of want to spend my Summer Vacation enjoying it. But we can still be friends."
As Kai smiles out, Dan glanced at Ken and Kate as they both smile and nods out, telling him to accept it. "Well... Guess being friends is better than nothing. Okay." Dan sadly smiles as the girl smiles back. "Thanks... And one more thing, I thought you were really adorable as Tear-Wolf." She waves bye as she walks after her grandfather. Dan sighs out in sadness as Ken smiles and pats him on the shoulder. "The thing about crushes, cuz, is that sometimes you can get crushed. But you got off lucky! Other people would have been rejected harshly, but you were one of the lucky ones."
"Yeah... I guess." "Don't worry, little brother." Kate smiles out. "There's lots of other girls out there. And who knows? Maybe Kai will be interested in you in the future?" "Really? But... How do I get them to like me for me?" Dan asked out as the girl smiles out. "2 secret words that always works." "What are they?" Dan asked, but Kate didn't answer, keeping her brother in unknown as Dan tries to get an answer, but nothing as Ken chuckles out. "Girls..." Dan frowns out.
Back at the cave, in a hidden part of it, the stolen receiver and equipment were far away from the lava to be untouched by it, just as it turns on as yellow lights glows on It, making a swarm of bats fly out in a swarm in response.
