Magical Alien Summer EP 36: Game Over
As rain and thunder pours down from the skies of Canterlot City, Sunset gazes out the window of her apartment in boredom as she sighs out. "So bored... When is Celestia going to get here with the pizza? Even that Game Dan is playing sounds interesting." She mumbles as she looks to see Dan on the couch, mashing away the buttons on his controller as he wore a wireless headset as he is busy playing one of his favorite games: 'Sumo Slammers Smackdown'! "Hey, Dan? Can I play?" "Sorry! Already have a partner. Run! And Ishiyama, slam!" Dan cries out as the sumo warrior on the screen smashes a robot.
"He's the coolest, kick, Sumo Slammer, jump, of all! So why do I need another player?" Dan asked as Sunset smirks out. "To prove you're not afraid to get your sumo butt kicked by a girl?" In response, Dan paused the game frowns at Sunset, holding out another controller. And just like that, Sunset joins in the game as well. And before Dan knows it, she makes a new high score! "All right! Give it up for the Shimmer ninja!" "Beginner's luck... Now! Watch a real Sumo Slammer Samurai in action!" Dan smirks out as he made his character grab a box, only for it to change into a massive armored man as it knocks him back.
"Ohh!" Sunset flinches as Dan was surprised. "Got your butt kicked by Kenko the shapeshifter. Better be careful, you only have 2 lives left." Frowning in response, Dan snatched her controller and made Sunset's character falls off, losing a life as well. "Hey! Dan!" "Careful, you only have one life left!" Just then, Sunset's phone chimes as she went to check it, making Dan smirks out as he sneaks away while dialing the Omnitrix. "Okay! Celestia will be in about 10 mins." FLASH She gazes back to see Upgrade, merging and spreading on the game console as Sunset check, only to be surprised to see the alien takes all but 500 of her points!
"DAN TENNYSON!" "What? I'm generous enough to leave you 500 points." Upgrade teases out. But the teen didn't care as she starts shaking the game. "When you get out of there and time out, you are so in for a spanking!" But just then, a thunderbolt strikes the antennae on the building, surging straight towards the game and caused a flash of light, only for Sunset and Upgrade to vanish as the game is still on!
Intro:
A Galaxy is shown with some planets as outer space music is heard.
Just for a flash of green light to occur and shows the Omnitrix symbol with Dan's silhouette in the middle as the song picks up.
"It started when an alien device did what it did."
The 1st clip is Dan, discovering the Omnitrix as it latches onto his arm as he panics.
He then presses down on the dial as it transforms him into Heatblast as he cries out.
"And stuck itself upon his wrist with secrets that it hid."
"Now he's got superpowers, he's no ordinary kid. He's Dan 10! (Dan 10!)"
The logo flashes a bit, before showing off aliens:
Grey Matter, Overflow, Shock Rock, Heatblast, Tear-Wolf, Goop and Astrodactyl.
"So if you see him, you might be in for a big surprise."
"He'll turn into an alien before your very eyes!"
The boy is then shown transforming into Tear-Wolf as 6 more aliens appear and zooms in:
Goop, Shock Rock, XLR8, Humungousaur, Heatblast and Tear-Wolf.
" He's slimy, freaky, fast and strong, he's every shape and size."
"He's Dan 10! (Dan 10!)"
Just then, a flash-animated Dan is running towards the screen and then flips and morphs into Tear-Wolf.
He bites at the screen as a black and green '1'. appear next to him.
2: Humungousaur is next as he grins and slams his tail down, making a sonic blast.
3: Grey Matter leaps at the screen, only to go splat in a comic fashion.
4: XLR8 appears and zooms away.
"Armed with powers, he's on the case!"
"Fighting off evil from Earth or space!"
5: Upgrade wiggles his legs around as he raises his arms.
6: Shock Rock generates lots of power and blasted a large beam of blue energy across the screen.
7: Overflow flies upward on his water blasts.
8: Astrodactyl displays his whips and then rockets away on his jetpack.
"He'll never stop 'till he makes them pay!"
"'Cause he's the baddest kid to ever save the day!"
9: Goop emerges out of his puddle form and throws a long punch in the air.
10: Heatblast chucks a fireball at the screen as Dan himself lands on the ground with his fist, cracking it as he gives a big grin.
"Dan 10! (Dan 10! D-D-D-Dan! Dan 10! D-D-D-Dan!)"
Tear-Wolf is then shown leaping form some trees as he looks fierce.
Shock Rock poses as he finishes transforming.
Sunset and the Rainbooms are shown powering up into their magic forms.
Heatblast chucks a fireball.
Dan is then shown slapping down on the Omnitrix.
The Mane 6, Spike, the royal sisters, the royal crystal family, Discord, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and reformed Changelings and Dan in griffon form stood together as they glare at an adversity as the Omnitrix boy just smirks with crossed arms.
Twilight is shown fight a giant bird monster as she uses her Geode's magic to slam it down on the ground.
Humungousaur roars out as he finishes transforming.
XLR8 is shown running on top of water.
The opening finishes up as the aliens all got sucked into the Omnitrix as Dan shows it while green rays came from it as the title appear next to him.
Dan 10: Magical Alien Summer.
As Upgrade regains his sense, he noticed that he is now in a small, Japanese village, making him look around as a yellow disc appears and materializes Sunset! Only she is now dressed like a ninja. She has black ninja tabi, with light blue sandal straps and purple bands on her knees. She has red pants and black wraps on the thighs and a black chest plate with her cutie mark on the center. She has a light-blue shirt underneath with sleeves and black elbow parts and has brown warps around her wrists and black fingerless gloves. She has a scarf the same shade of her pants around her neck with a yin-yang symbol and a black headband with a metal plate and long ribbons and has 2 whisker like markings on her cheeks that are painted light red. She lastly has a steel belt with 3 orbs on it with one glowing yellow.
"Whoa... What happened?" As Sunset examines herself, she remembered the power surge that affected Upgrade. And considering that he is made of living metal... "That lighting flash must have zapped Upgrade and we wound up inside the video game!" "You mean we're inside Sumo Slammers Smackdown?! COOL!" Upgrade cries out in glee as he raised his fists as he can't believe he is in his all-time favorite video game! But just then, a shadow casts overhead as they both look up at a large ship. "Not for long!" Sunset cries out in worriment.
It then shot out orbs that crashed all around the 2 into the buildings of the village, just as they revealed Robo-Sumos. "Robo-Sumos? That is so level 1." Upgrade comments, just as one in armor and having flags charged and tackles the alien hero. But he merges with the machine and takes it over, tackling some Robo-Sumos as he slams into a water tower as it crashed down on top of them. He then used his laser eye to blast a Robo-Sumo that was near Sunset.
The girl quickly flips over one and kicks and punches more robots in a ninja like fashion, making the teen realizes that the Video Game not only makes her a talented martial artist, but also enhanced her human form as well. She leaps onto of one robot and punched it, leaping off as it fell down, just as Upgrade shorts another out. "This is isn't a challenge, it's a slaughter fest!" He exclaims as he glances around. But Sunset scoffs out with crossed arms. "What do you expect? You practically control everything in here as Upgrade!"
"Jealous?" Upgrade quickly grabs one Robo-Sumo and converts it into a laser blaster. "Sayonara, suckers!" He fires out a green energy beam that finished off the last of the Robo-Sumos as they disappeared and awards Dan 500 points each. "Oh, yeah! You've been Sumo Slammed! Dan's the best, forget the rest!" Sunset rolls her eyes in response. "Okay... You had your fun. How about zapping us back to the real world before the Omnitrix-" BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP FLASH "...Times out." She deadpans as Sunset slouches in dismay at Dan changing back at the worst possible time.
"Uh-oh." Dan mumbles out as he is now wearing a dark green samurai armor with a bamboo shoulder pad on his left arm, His right forearm has a brace that covers with a hand guard and has pouches on his thighs that looks like samurai leg pads. His undershirt is grey and has ripped sleeves. His calves and feet are Japan style with sandal and armor braces. His Omnitrix is also changed as well, matching outfit's design as the dial is now at the end of the elbow part. His hair is now anime-like with a spiky bun as on his chest plate is the 3 orbs with 2 glowing yellow.
"Great! Now what do we do?!" Sunset cries out as the boy assures his friend. "Relax, Sunset! It's no problem! All we have to do is just as wait until the watch is reached. Then, I'll go Upgrade and zap us straight back to the real world, no problem!" The boy smiles as he looks at the watch, only to notice something is off. The green color is now replaced with a blank white as he rotates the dial, only for nothing to happen, as if the Omnitrix has been shut down! "Okay... Maybe there is a problem." "Why are there no alien icons and why is the Omnitrix white instead of green or red?" Sunset looks over at the device as Dan tries shaking it, only for nothing to happen.
"Great! Now we got no aliens?!" "Relax, Sunset! I played this game like a million times! Nothing is going to surprise me." But suddenly, something large crashed down on Dan as Sunset was thrown back and gasped out. "DAN! NO!" Just as some coins flew up and disappeared, Dan rematerializes near the teen as he rubs his head. "Defiantly don't want to do that again." But as Sunset notices on of his chest orbs dims, she glances down at her belt as he realizes they were life counters. "We're down to just one life! Something tells me the next time we get blasted to bits, it's for real!"
Suddenly, the object moves to reveal a large Robo-Sumo boss, making the 2 kids leaps away from a punch as the machine stomps after them. As they ran towards a building, a Robo-Sumo burst out as 4 more appear. Sunset spin kicks one and then somersault kick another. Dan dodges a swipe and elbow drops the robot as another charge at him, only to get knocked away by an uppercut from the boy. But a Robo-Sumo tackles him as Dan groans and rubs his head as Sunset kicks more robots. "Oh, man... There's too many! We need to find..."
He glances around and spots a floating, spinning chest on top of a tower, making him gasp out. "An akeni trunk!" He leaps up towards the trunk as Sunset follows after, just as the boy hits it and display 2 gold coins that floats and rotates. Dan smiles at the one with a sword on it. "Dibs on the samurai sumo sword!" He grabs it as a large Odachi sword shows up in his hand, making him leap down and starts slicing all the robots around him. Sunset grabs the other coin and a piece of a paper shows up, making her read in confusion.
As Dan slashed 2 more Robo-Sumos to bits, the boss shows up and raised its fists, only for something to slice them off as Dan is surprised, glancing back to see Sunset, holding a large shuriken as she throws it and destroys the boss, earning her 100,000 points as she retrieves her weapon. "Whoa... Where did you learn how to do that?" Sunset sliced one robot as she answers. "I read the instructions." "This game came with instructions?" Dan cuts down another robot in response. Sunset then spots something as he leaps near a platform. "The Dojo. We can use this to get to the next level." Dan lands near her in response. "I knew that."
Both of them steps on the platform as it raises up, taking them higher and higher as they stopped at 2 large floating temples with a bunch of floating platforms. "So, what now?" Sunset got her answer as a bunch of flying Robo-Sumos shows up and launched a fireball from its grill chest, making the 2 flips away as Dan cries out. "Keep moving and stay alive!" The 2 leaps down towards another platform as Dan sliced through one Sumo and then stabs another, making them both run as the robot sparks and then explodes. Both youths run and leaps as they try to find something to help them or at least, take cover from the killer flying robots trying to fry them.
Just then, they both stops and spot an akeni trunk down below as Dan glanced back to see Sunset fighting off the robots. He leaps down and swung his sword, displaying a coin, only it was a familiar diamond shape with an equally familiar icon on it. "Hey! That looks like Humungousaur! I wonder if..." Leaping up, he grabs the coin as a flash of green light was made. Dan quickly dials in the watch and slaps down. FLASH
"Oh! Yeah! Now we're talking!" The alien dinosaur grins out as he is now decked out in samurai armor! He has a shogun helmet, green chest plate, bamboo shoulder pads and wraps all around his forearms and palms. He is also wearing leg pads, black briefs and has wraps on his feet as well and have the Omnitrix on his helmet now. "Dino-might!" Just then, a being lands near him as the alien gasped in awe. "Ishiyama!" "How do you know my name, strange creature?" The person is a large Sumo warrior. He has squinted eyes, black hair in a bun and a stubble bread. He is wearing Sumo armor and has his life counter on his right arm.
"I'm your biggest fan! I know all your stats! You weigh 527 pounds. You have a 7-strength rating, 9-intelligence, 8-agility!" He grins out as meeting his idol, only for the man to cry out. "Enough! Are you or are you not a shapeshifter?" "Well..." But before he can answer, he spots some flying Robo-Sumos, dive bombing towards them! "Hold that thought!" Humungousaur cries out as he charges past Ishiyama and leaps up, smashing a few of them with his fists and then slams down his tail on the last one. "Took care of them! Now, you were saying?" He turns back to the Sumo Warrior.
Ishiyama ponders out. "You are a shapeshifter, like my arch-nemesis, Kenko! Yet, you fight his minions. What are you?" "I'm Dan! I'm a good guy like you! I own every Sumo Slammers comic book and action figure! Doubles of every trading card, including the really rare gold one! I even eat your cruddy cereal!" "Enough! I can't allow this talk to confuse me! I must defeat Kenko, as it is my sworn oath!" Just then, they heard more robots being destroyed as they glance to see Sunset kicking more flying Robo-Sumos and leaping off them with ninja like grace.
"Who is this magnificent warrior?" "Magnificent warrior? Sunset? Really!?" She lands near the 2 as she addresses the dinosaur. "So, I noticed you just left me to deal with those robots, what's up with that?" "You are friends with this creature?" "His name is Dan Tennyson. I'm Sunset Shimmer." The girl introduces herself as Humungousaur crosses his arms while Ishiyama bows. "I am Ishiyama. You fight like a champion, warrior Sunset."
Just then, more bots show up as the alien smirks out. "That's nothing! Let me show you a real champion!" He charges at the swarm as he leaps up and starts jumping from robot to robot, smashing down each one. He then lands on another and grabs 2 more and smashed them together! "Next!" He leaps on a platform and then again to slams his tail on top of 3 in a row and lands on another one. "Oh yeah! I'm unstoppable!" BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP FLASH
Dan had a look of surprise as he holds on the robot with his sword on his back. "Probably should have seen that one coming!" The Robo-Sumo then starts flying out of control as Dan cries out and struggles to hold on as Sunset follows after, leaping from bot to bot. "Dan! Hold on!" "I got to read those instructions." Dan groans out as Ishiyama leaps up and grabs the bot Dan is holding onto, making him fall and scream as Sunset quickly grabs him and leaps from platform to platform, landing in front of the Sumo Slammer. "Your skills are impressive." Ishiyama smiles out.
But Sunset frowns out. "What were you thinking?! Dan could have gotten hurt!" "It's okay, Sunset! I'm sure Ishiyama was trying to help in his own way." Dan defends his idol as the man replies. "The amateur samurai is correct, warrior Sunset. I do apologize." Dan frowns out. "'Amateur samurai'?! Well, at least it's better than being called a 'jester'." The boy mumbles out at the thought of Sunset impressing his favorite character when he is the one with the alien superpowers.
"Thank you." Sunset smiles out in forgiveness. She then glanced at Dan. "Okay! Now that we had our death-defying fun, how about zapping us back home now with Upgrade?" "Can't! Only Humungousaur's icon was inside that akeni trunk. Upgrade can be hidden anywhere! On any of the other levels!" As Sunset ponders out, she remembers something as she got out a map. "Not anywhere... Looks like Upgrade is on the Arena in level 13!"
"Level 13!? We'll never make it there!" Dan exclaims as the arena is the last level, but getting there is extremely hard as each level is big and the obstacles and enemies gets harder and harder with each level passed. Not to mention, they are both down to one life and losing them means permanent game over for them!
But Dan gets an idea as he glances at Ishiyama. "Unless... Do you know any cheat codes to get us there quicker?!" "A sumo never cheats! However, I do know a shortcut." The large man quickly adds out in thought as he then exclaims. "But the journey will be dangerous." "Looks like we got no choice." Sunset mumbles as she stores her map.
The trio were now walking down a hallway as Ishiyama askes Sunset. "So, what land do you hail from, warrior Sunset?" "It's... hard to explain." The teen hisses out as she rubs her head on how to explain a video game character that she and Dan were from the real world. Speaking of the samurai hero, he glances around and stops at a room of priceless vases and trees. "Whoa! I never seen this part of the game, before!" As Dan walks away, he is unaware of a pair of glowing yellow eyes, narrowing at the kid from the shadows.
Dan runs to catch up, but accidently sets off a trap as the doors ahead starts close, making Ishiyama sumo-size himself and holds them with his strength as the ninja and samurai ran through them, just as the Sumo lets go and changes back. "Game? This is no game! The fate of the entire sumo world, hangs in the balance!" "I know! I know." Dan waves off the man as he smiles out. "I read the back of the box." "The back of the box?"
As Sunset glances at the man, she figures it out as she shoves Dan away to speak with him in secret. "Dan, I don't think Ishiyama even knows what is really going on. He doesn't know he's just a program in a video game. He thinks this is all real. So, we need to be careful about what we say around him, get it?" But Dan stops listing to the teen as he is too busy with the hovering trunk above their heads. "An akeni trunk!" He quickly leaps up and punches it open as the coin went flying into Sunset's hand, making her gain a bow and arrows in a flash of light.
"Thanks for the Sumo Bow!" The girl smiles out, just as a nearby door opens up. As Dan peeks inside, he grins out at finding a bunch of floating golden Omnitrix tokens! "Who needs it?! I just hit the Omnitrix jackpot!" But as Dan runs in, Ishiyama cries out in warning. "Careful! One may be a trap!" Just as he said that, Dan grabs a token as it turns into a red beam that hits Ishiyama, making him disappear in a flash of light, as Dan exits and saw that the sumo warrior rematerializes with just 2 lives remaining. "Sunset did it! Not me!" "Really?!" The teen frowns back at the boy in response, only for the man to interrupt. "It matters not! My life is nothing in my quest to stop Kenko!" As he left, both kids glanced at each in response. "Wow... Someone's got to lighten up." Sunset mumbles out.
They managed to set foot into a large chamber with a giant statue at the end of the room. "The chamber of the Kappa will grant accuse to the level of your choosing. But only if you solve their riddle!" Ishiyama explains as a voice rang out from the statue. "The key names your weapon, but only by sight! When utter as vow, a gesture polite." Sunset rubs her chin in response as she asks the 10-year-old. "What do you think it means?" "Beats me!" Dan shrugs out, not much of a riddle guy himself. He then grins at a floating Omnitrix token near a pillar as he runs towards it. "But I know what that means! Bet old Cannonbolt can make a better impression on Ishiyama!"
But just as he approached it, the pillar flashed blue as a long figure shot out and coils Ishiyama and Sunset as Dan leaps over a tail and glares at Kenko, the main villain of the game and Ishiyama's rival. "Let them go, Kenko!" Dan cries out the large blue dragon with chest and shoulder armor. "Tell me about this Upgrade Icon, boy! Or your friends will pay with their lives." Kenko snarls out as Ishiyama cries out. "Tell him nothing!" "He's right, Dan! Who knows what will happen when Kenko gets into the real world?! Or Equestria!? I'm not sure even Twilight or Princess Celestia can stop him!" "'The Real World'? Equestria'? Yet two more domains that I will soon rule with an Iron fist! Once I find and force the ruler, this 'Princess Celestia' to bow to my will!"
"No way!" Dan cries out with determination. "But I'm going to show you some real sumo slamming!" He rushed over and smashed his fist into Cannonbolt's icon, as transformed into the alien as he now has a black and green sumo underwear and a small bun on his head. "Cannonbolt style!" He rolls up and bounces off a wall, building momentum as he barrels down at Kenko, only for him to dodge as Ishiyama and Sunset did the same as Cannonbolt lands with a crash as he groans out. "Okay... Maybe that was a little too slamming?" "I will leave you to my henchmen while I find the Upgrade icon." Kenko then slithers away into the shadows as suddenly, blue figures with masks comes out of the walls like ghosts, even the ceilings as well.
"Warrior Sunset! Your Sumo bow!" Ishiyama cries out as he Sumo-Sizes and charges, making the girl nods out as she drew some arrows and aimed at some leaping minions, firing at them as they disperse into pixels. Ishiyama leaps up and ponds some minions as he lands on one as well, earning 1,000 points. Just then, he spots one that looks like a big shogun, snarling at the Sumo as he charges with a battle cry, clashing and causing a flash of white light.
Meanwhile, back in the real world, a knock is heard from the door as it opens to reveal Celestia, wearing a dripping raincoat and carrying some pizza boxes as she walks in. "Sunset? Dan? Sorry it took so long, but I managed to get the pizza! Hello? Are you here, kids?" The woman is confused as it all seam quiet as she placed the boxes on a table and the raincoat on a chair, only to noticed the game as she frowns out. "Leaving their games on when they run off? They need to learn that when they are done playing, turn off their games so they don't waste power." She walks over to turn off the console, unaware about what she is about do to Dan and Sunset.
As Sunset leaps over some henchmen as Cannonbolt smashed through a few and leaps up, planning to body slam onto another group, everything froze as the game paused as Sunset is surprised. "I can't move! What's happening?!" "Aunt Celestia must have arrived at your apartment and is messing with the controls! If she turns it off with us in it, she'll not only delete us, but also the game as well!" Cannonbolt cries out as the girl's widened and shrunk to pin pricks as she gained a horrified look, making her cry along with the alien in desperation.
As Celestia's finger is just inches from the power button... "AUNT CELESTIA!" "NO!" "DON'T SHUT US OFF!" Startled and surprised by the voices from the TV, Celestia stumbles back onto Sunset's couch as she opens and close her mouth a few times. As she peers close, she is surprised to see Cannonbolt and Sunset on the screen. "Dan?! Sunset!? Is that you?!" Looking around, she spots a headset and puts in on and groans out. "Please tell me this just another 'rogue Equestria magic' situation..."
And so, the kids explain everything to the woman as Cannonbolt finishes up. "So, now we need to get the Upgrade icon on level 13, so we can get out of this game!" "There must be something I can do. Maybe If I push this-" "NO!" Both of them cries out as Sunset explains. "We mean just hit resume and don't touch anything! Just leave the rest to the game pros... and Dan!" Sunset smirks out as Cannonbolt got a flat look at the jab. "Oh... hilarious." "I'm just messing with you, dude." "Okay... get ready! Here she goes!" The game starts back up as the fight is back on!
As the woman watches, she noticed something on a nightstand and picks it up, seeing the manual for the game. "'Sumo Slammers Smackdown', huh?" She begins reading it.
Inside the game, Cannonbolt bowls right through a crowd of enemies as Ishiyama somersaults in the air with his feet glowing orange with power and stomps downward as the shogun covers his hands in blue and charges upward, but Ishiyama won the clash and smashed the Shogun through the floor, leaping up as the boss fell down into the abyss and disappears. The Sumo warrior leaps backward and dusts his hands off with a smirk as Cannonbolt and Sunset finished off the last of the enemies, only for the alien to accidently knock Ishiyama into the hole as both players gazes down, but turns back to see the man rematerializes as he frowns with crossed arms at the alien. "Uh... My bad." "Take it easy on Dan, Ishiyama. It was an accident."
Nonetheless, the man glances back at the statue as his life count drops to 1. "We must still answer the riddle of the Kappa, if we were to continue our quest." "'The key names your weapon, but only by sight! When utter as vow, a gesture polite'. My weapon?" As she stares at bow in thought, she gasps with realization! "That's it! My weapon is a bow, but when utter in a vow, it becomes 'bow'." She then bows like she would when she is in the presence of Princess Celestia. But as a gong is heard, the statue tilts and pours water on the girl, drenching her as in a flash of light, she became Sumo size!
Cannonbolt snickers until he burst out in laughter with a grin. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh man! You sure put on the old Sumo feed bag, huh Sunset?!" "Says the original fat head." Sunset mumbles out in anger at the rude comment as she slams her feet and sends out a shockwave that splits the statue in half, just as a pillar light comes from it. "The Dojo!" The girl cries out as the 3 quickly leaps onto it, riding it upward. "Oh sure!" Cannonbolt frowns out as Sunset glances at him. "When I bust something, it's all silent stares! But when she bust something, she's a hero!" The alien crosses his arm as Sunset changes back.
The Dojo stops at a massive arena with a floating roofed platform above it as Ishiyama shows it with a smile. "The arena of Sumo warriors!" "And the sight of your final defeat, Ishiyama!" They whirl back to see Kenko, in the form of a golden lion statue, coming down the stairs as Cannonbolt cries out. "Bring it on, Kenko!" But just as he rolls up and spins towards him, he unfortunately times out as he smacks into the lion and falls down, groaning as he glares at the Omnitrix. "You know, for a watch you have a lousy sense of timing." Only to notice Kenko and quickly leaps back down as he avoids a paw smashing where he was.
He then draws out his sword and swung it, holding it like a Samurai as he glares at the final boss. "Dan!" Sunset and Ishiyama runs ahead of him as the girl cry out. "We'll keep Kenko busy! Just focus on finding the Upgrade icon!" "No way!" Dan charges as he holds up his sword. "I want to prove Ishiyama that I'm a real hero as well!" "Dan!" Sunset places a hand on the kid's shoulder as she pleas to the stubborn kid. "You will! But what's more important? Acting like a real hero or trying to impress a program?" Dan widened his eyes in realization as he glances back at Ishiyama, who nods towards the boy, telling him to go get the icon.
Dan nods back as he runs off as Ishiyama leaps up with Sunset on his back, firing arrow after arrow at the roaring Kenko as he deflects them and knocks the 2 into the stands. Kenko lands on the arena and morphs into a blue skin with dark blue hair in a pony-tail man with yellow eyes. He is also wearing a dark colored mech suit, indigo and purple, with his head only showing. The mech has wing-like verniers on his back with black pants and a giant rope belt.
Dan ran up towards a bunch of Akeni Trunks and starts breaking them with sword, only to get nothing as he kept searching. "No! No. No. No. No. No." As Ishiyama got the rubble off, Sunset cries out in confusion. "Where did he go?!" Just then, Kenko, in the form of a large bird, swoops down and snatches Ishiyama in his talons, slamming the warrior into a wall as Sunset fires arrows at him. But Kenko dodged them all and crushed Sunset's bow into 2 as he flies around. Thinking quickly, the teen forms her large shuriken and chucks it, making it clip the wing as Kenko screeches in pain. But as it was boomeranging back, it got burn to ash by Kenko's dragon form as he stomps towards Sunset, only for Ishiyama to kick him from the side, but got knocked down by a claw.
Sunset quickly leaps near the man as he is getting up and drew some Kunai knives from her belt, but only to get coiled by a tail along with Ishiyama as they were brough near a smug Kenko. "I expected more of a challenge from the great Ishiyama." "The battle is not over, so long as one of us still stands!" The sumo calls out in response.
"No. No. Wait! Yes!" Dan grins out as he finally found the Upgrade icon on an akeni trunk. But just as he raised his sword, Kenko snarls from behind, making the kid turn back, only for a double blow to knock away and crashed into a statue as the boy groans. "Your power is mine, boy!" Kenko declares out as he grabs the Icon token and grins out, only for nothing to happen as he looks at himself in confusion. "What is going on? Why am I not gaining power!?" "Error! DNA patterns dose not match usher: Dan Tennyson." "What is this? It speaks?" Kenko ponders out as the token flashed and spoke in a robotic tone of Dan's voice as the boy himself is surprised. "That's new. Since when can the watch talk?"
He notices the Omnitrix starts flashing as well and also spoke out as well. "Detacting lost Galvanic Mechamorph sample nearby. Retrieving in progress..." To his shock, a green lightning bolt shot out of the Omnitrix and hits the token, sucking it back into the watch as Upgrade shows up on it. "Retrieval of lost DNA sample complete! Galvanic Mechamorph available on Playlist 1." "Don't know what happened. But all right!" Dan cheers out at getting Upgrade back.
As Sunset watches what happened, she had a realization and starts laughing out loud. "Looks like you didn't read the instructions, Kenko! Upgrade only works for Dan because it requires his DNA!" "Then if I can't have his power... I'll make sure the boy can't ether!" Kenko roars out as he charges and leaps up to smash Dan as the boy gasped in shock, only for Ishiyama to slam into him out of nowhere! Dan is stunned as he looks up to see his idol emerging from the hole with a smile.
But suddenly, he felt pain from his back as he gazes down and disappears in a flash of light as it reveals that Kenko has stabbed him in the back with a spear he found. "ISHIYAMA!" "NO!" Both kids cry out in shock and horror as Kenko towers over with a smirk. "Your Sumo Slammer hero isn't here to protect you anymore." But as Kenko raised his weapon, he noticed from a flash of green light, a ticked-off Upgrade. "But I can handle myself and you! All alone... Now we play by my rules, Kenko!" Upgrade narrowed his eye in anger.
WHAM Upgrade tackles Kenko as sparks fly from the impact. FWOOOM Kenko breaths fire in his dragon form, only for Upgrade to make a big hole to dodge and creates a laser cannon and open fire on the beast, damaging him. POW Upgrade smack Kenko's bird form with hammer hands and even slammed the bird down. BANG Upgrade delivers a nasty right hook with a wrecking ball made out of spikes.
As the dust settles and shows the wrecked arena, Upgrade looks around and calls out. "Come out, wherever you are! I'm not done pounding the pavement with you!" "Dan!" He glanced up at Sunset near the trunks. "Forget about Kenko! Just get us out of here before you time out!" Upgrade shows up next to her with a chuckle. "I'm right here, Sunny! Besides, we're good for about, eh... 6 minutes, I think." But just then, a voice spoke out as both of them we're shocked on who I came from. "You won't leave without saying good bye, will you?" "ISHIYAMA?!" "But! We saw you-"
The Sumo warrior chuckles as he walks up to them. "It will take more then Kenko to finish off my last life. I just want to say that I was wrong. You are the superior warrior. I only wish that I can visit your world, and fight alongside such a noble hero." "Whoa?! Really!?" Upgrade glees out at the thought of him and Ishiyama as partners in crime-fighting! One of his wishes come true! "Well... maybe I can-" "Sorry, 'Ishi'. But your travel plans just got canceled!" Celestia declares as she materializes next to the group with a smirk.
She is now decked out in white, gold and purple female warlord armor and robe as well along with flowing white ribbons, her hair in a ponytail and a fancy sun-style tiara and has her life counter on her left shoulder pad. She leaps up and delivers a double drop kick that sends her and Ishiyama crashing down the stands as Upgrade is shocked. "Aunt Celestia?! What are you doing!? He's a good guy!" "No, he isn't!" She cries out as she leaps up towards the center platform and pulls out a section of the roof, reveling a trunk as she kicks it open and grabs a gold coin with a cup on it. It became a baboo cup as she pours the salt onto Ishiyama, only to reveal...
"KENKO!?" Sunset cries out as Upgrade points at the villain. "You were trying to trick me to take you back to the Real World?!" "We need to get out before he does!" "A true Summo Slammer never retreats! I'm going to defeat him honorably!" Upgrade cries out as he charged at Kenko, only for the shapeshifter to form into shadows and grabs Sunset with a smirk. "Fortunately, I am not bound by such honor." The Dojo drops down with Kenko and Sunset on it as Upgrade leaps after them.
Landing in front of the villain, he cries out. "Destroy me and she suffers the same fate!" "I don't think so... This game is over!" Upgrade stretch at Kenko as he punched the alien, only for him to spread all over and enter into his mouth, letting Sunset go as she runs off as Kenko explodes behind her! As she recovers, Sunset is surprised to see the mighty Kenko is really a small man. Kenko then tries to attack Upgrade, only it didn't work as he tried kicking with his large metal boot, just for it to fly off and hits him on the head, knocking him out as the Dojo went up.
"Well?" Upgrade askes Sunset as she looks up with a frown and sighs out with a small smile. "All right... You're the better Sumo Slammer Samurai. Happy?" "Yeah... But I kind of want to hear it from someone else." Upgrade explains as he creates a 1-UP, reviving Ishiyama as Sunset and the Sumo smiles out. "More especially, him. So, now who do you think is the best Sumo Warrior?" Upgrade as he is confident Ishiyama will pick him for defeating Kenko single-handled, but to his shock, he points behind Upgrade and Sunset. "Her!" "Aunt Celestia?!" "WHY!?"
"Only a true Sumo Warrior would know how to use the cleansing power of Sumo Salt, to reveal Kenko's deception." Ishiyama explains as the woman smiles out and waves it off. "Oh, please! It was easy! All I did is read the instructions." "Read the instructions." Both Sunset and Upgrade groans out in dismay. "But, in the end, you all have fought valiantly to end Kenko's reign of terror and free the Sumo World and we were all victorious. I am honored to have fought alongside all of you. Kunoichi Sunset. Warlady Celestia. And Samurai Dan." He bows as they all bow back in honor as well. "Wow! Being thanked and called a great samurai warrior by Ishiyama, himself! Pinch me! I must be dreaming!" Upgrade glees out with excitement as both girls' giggles at each other. Just then, the Omnitrix begun timing out as Upgrade notices. "Sorry! No time for long good-byes!" He cries out as he grabs Sunset and they both shrunk into a ball and disappears in a flash of green light.
The game flashed as Upgrade and Sunset got out, as the teen was back to her normal look as Upgrade changes back to Dan, also normal as well. "Cut it a little closer next time?" Dan checks the Omnitrix in response and rotates to find all his aliens were back where they belong, even Ghostfreak, much to his dismay. "Hopefully, there won't be a next time." Dan mumbles out.
Celestia looks out the window and smiles to see the sun cutting through the clouds. "Looks like it finally stopped raining. How about you 2 go out and enjoy the fresh air?" The woman suggests as Dan smiles out. "You know, I could use some real world, right about now." The boy and the teen laugh as they run out and heads towards the park, ready to enjoy the day as Celestia stayed behind and chuckles to herself. "I thought they will never leave." She starts playing the game, getting into Sumo Slammers quickly.
