Nathan's Destiny Part 3
At Howlett Manor, the Rangers are all in the medical room. Hikaru is lying on one of the beds, a hot wet rag wrapped over his forehead and his right arm is in a cast, held in place by a wrap around his shoulder. Nicole is sitting at his side, a white brace wrapped over her right knee and a bandage wrapped around her right hand. Adrian is sitting on another bed, leaning against the wall in a sulking manner, a bandage wrapped around his forehead. Sitting in a chair on the other wide of the room, Chris winces as he feels his wrist, a bandage wrapped around it, and he also has another small bandage on his left cheek. Allison is sitting next to Adrian, a bandage on her chin and both her hands and wrists wrapped in bandages. Bryan is sitting down without his shirt on as Liam is wrapping a bandage around his left shoulder and abdomen, wincing as Liam presses down hard. Liam, meanwhile has his right hand wrapped in a bandage and another one on his nose. As Liam finishes, Bryan groans as he tries to pull his training jacket back on, grabbing his left shoulder and wincing in pain.
Meanwhile, in the valley outside of Howlett Manor, the seven Millennium Beasts are all lying down, groaning in pain as they recover from their own injuries.
Nathan walks up, peering into the medical room to see the Rangers inside. "This is horrible." he thinks to himself. "Both the Rangers and Millennium Beasts are seriously hurt, and we still have a savage monster on the loose, plus still Tobias to worry about. None of this would have happened if I just faced Tobias myself." He looks back at the Rangers, all of them looking hurt and uncertain. He sighs as he walks off. As he does, Nicole looks up from Hikaru's side, noticing Nathan walking off.
"Hey." Liam says, as he looks around. "Has anyone seen Ayumi?" Everyone looks up, shocked. "You're right." Adrian says. "She wasn't here when we got back." "We'll look around for her." Allison says, nodding to Adrian and the two get up and walk out of Nathan's office. Hikaru still lies on the bed, tossing his head slightly as he still remains unconscious.
At the Dark Temple, Ayumi winces as she groans before opening her eyes as she wakes up. "W-w-where am I?" she thinks to herself as she looks around. She tries to move, but gasps as she realizes she's suspended in midair, shrouded in dark energy. "What?!" she says. "What is this?!"
Tobias is revealed to be standing behind her, smirking. "Are you comfortable?!" he says sadistically. Ayumi gasps as she peers behind her, Tobias walking up to where he's now face-to-face with her. "Tobias!" Ayumi says. Tobias just smirks. "What are you doing?!" Ayumi says. Tobias laughs deviously. "I want Howlett." he says. "And you're going to bring him to me!" "What do you mean?!" Ayumi asks, sounding incredibly scared. Tobias just chuckles.
At Howlett Manor, Hikaru winces slightly as he opens his eyes, looking around. Nicole gives a sigh of relief. "Mr. Oshiro!" she says. "You're awake!" "What happened?" Hikaru says, trying to sit up. Chris holds him up. "Easy." he says. "You took a beating." "Whatever that monster is," Bryan says, "its tougher than anything we've ever fought combined."
"It must have been that Hellhound Millennium Beast." Nicole says, turning to Hikaru. "Like what you said, Mr. Oshiro." Hikaru nods. "So how are we supposed to defeat it?" Liam asks. "We just have to keep fighting." Nicole says. "There's not much else we can do."
Adrian and Ayumi run into Nathan's office. "We looked everywhere, guys." Adrian says. "But we can't find Ayumi." Hikaru looks up, shocked. "What happened to Ayumi?!" he says.
Nathan walks into his office too. "What's this I hear about Ayumi?" he asks. But before anyone can answer, everything goes dark as the power cuts out. "Huh?!" Bryan says. "What's going on?!"
Then, light makes its way into the room as the supercomputer's monitor comes back on, a static screen appearing. Everyone looks to the monitor as the static suddenly disappears, Tobias appearing on the monitor now, smiling evilly. "Howlett!" he says. Nathan gasps as he steps forward, the Rangers all walking up behind him.
"Today will be the day where I finally kill you!" Tobias says, speaking rather crazily. "You will meet me for our battle!" Nathan shakes his head. "I already told you," he says, "I won't fight you." Tobias laughs. "Is that so?!" he says. "Well what if I raised the stakes a little?" "Huh?" Nathan says.
Tobias steps to the side, revealing Ayumi behind him, still suspended in midair as she's surrounded by dark energy, Ayumi struggling to free herself. Everyone gasps in horror. "Ayumi!" Nathan calls out. "Nathan!" Ayumi says.
Tobias laughs sadistically as he looks back. "Now you get it!" he says. "I'm not playing around here, Howlett!" "Let her go, Tobias!" Nathan demands. "This is between you and me!" "Indeed it is!" Tobias says. "So meet me in the same rock quarry we first met in two hours! Otherwise, I cannot guarantee your girlfriend here will live to see another day!" "Nathan!" Ayumi calls out. "Don't do it! It's a trap!" Tobias laughs. "That it is!" he says. "But do you really have a choice!"
Nathan clenches his fists in fury. "Tobias!" he says. "Stop! This is insane!" Tobias smirks. "I'm afraid the insanity," he says, "is only beginning!" He laughs as he cuts the transmission, the supercomputer turning off. As if in response, the power in Howlett Manor comes back on as the lights illuminate again. Everyone looks to Nathan, who looks down, unsure of what to do.
"What are we going to do?!" Bryan says. Breathing heavily in panic, Nathan turns around, pushing past the Rangers and running out of the front door.
"Nathan, wait!" Nicole cries out as the Rangers chase him outside the house, but Nathan just keeps running as he disappears around the corner. The Rangers watch after him in concern, while Hikaru watches after Nathan through his office window.
At the Dark Temple, Tobias is meeting with Desolous, Caelumis and Tonoken. "And once that is finished," Tobias says, "I will bring you the head of the Power Rangers' leader on a stake!"
"You'd better be right!" Desolous says. "Or we'll destroy you ourselves!" Tobias just smirks. "You'll get what I promised!" he says. "One way or another! Now leave me!" The three leaders all turn around and walk away, vanishing in flashes of energy as they teleport.
Tobias smirks. "You'll get a world where the Power Rangers don't exist anymore!" he says. "Its just…you may not be around to see it!" He laughs to himself before he turns around, where Ayumi is still suspended in dark energy.
Ayumi looks at Tobias defiantly. "You won't win Tobias!" she says. "Nathan won't allow it!" Tobias just laughs. "Like he didn't let all of this other stuff happen?!" he says. "Howlett is a spineless coward!" "You're wrong!" Ayumi says. "Am I?!" Tobias says. "He didn't come when I first challenged him and he's been using those Rangers to do his dirty work! He won't be coming for you!" Ayumi just looks down, looking incredibly uncertain.
Tobias laughs. "No response?" he says mockingly. "Well then…I guess now that the talking is over, we can move forward with my plan!" "What do you-…" Ayumi begins to say, but she's cut short as the dark energy around her suddenly erupts violently, shocking her. Ayumi cries out in pain before her head drops, now lying unconscious.
Hikaru walks into a graveyard, where he looks forward. Nathan is kneeling in front of his parents' graves, weeping to himself. Hikaru walks toward Nathan.
His head down low, Nathan continues to cry. "I'm sorry." he thinks to himself. "I'm sorry mom. I'm sorry dad…I failed you. I failed you both! I'm not worthy to be the Millennium Master!"
Nathan gasps as he hears a footstep behind him, and turns around to see Hikaru standing over him. Nathan sighs as he gets to his feet. "Get out of here, Hikaru." he says. "I don't deserve to be around you." "Why do you say that?" Hikaru asks.
Nathan just scoffs. "You seriously ask that?" he asks. "I hesitated to fight Tobias, Tobias only wants me, and because of my hesitation, Ayumi is captured, that Hellhoud Millennium Beast is on the loose, and we're on the brink of the Dark Crucible. And this is all on my watch. I failed. None of this would have happened if it wasn't for me." Hikaru just looks at Nathan with a stern expression.
"I…just…" Nathan says, "I got to get out of here…" But as he walks past Hikaru, Hikaru grabs him by his shoulders, forces him around and punches him in the face with a right-hook, knocking Nathan off his feet.
Nathan gasps as he falls on his back, feeling his face, where there's now a bruise on his left cheek. He winces as he feels his wound before looking back up at Hikaru in fear. "Stop talking like that!" Hikaru says. "The Nathan I knew and raised wouldn't be like this! He wouldn't be feeling sorry for himself!" Nathan is just speechless.
"Tell me." Hikaru says. "Do you remember what you said at your parents' funeral? The promise you made?" Nathan looks down, thinking back.
Nathan remembers as he, Hikaru and Ayumi stood in front of his parents' graves. Both Hikaru and Ayumi comfort Nathan as he weeps over his parents. He stops weeping, and walks forward, standing squarely in front of the graves. Closing his eyes, Nathan falls to his knees. "I don't know if you can hear me." he says. "Mom. Dad. But if you can…just know, that no matter what happens, I will not fail you. I promise I will be a great Millennium Master!"
"Remember Nathan," Nathan's father says in another flashback as he and his wife were on their deathbed, "you must always be prepared to take action when needed! The fate of the world depends on you!" Nathan nods. "I love you son." his father says. "I love you too dad." Nathan says.
Nathan snaps back. "Your parents are counting on you." Hikaru says, speaking in a calmer tone. "You have a promise to keep. You can't give up now. Not when the world needs you the most." "But," Nathan says, "I already failed. That Hellhound Monster is back. What can I do?!"
Hikaru smiles softly. "Well," he says, "you can start by getting back up." He walks over and offers Nathan a hand. Nathan looks at Hikaru, who smiles at him, and then takes his hand, Hikaru hoisting him up.
"What am I going to do?" Nathan asks. "You need to confront Tobias." Hikaru says. "There's no other way." Nathan looks down, appearing doubtful, but nods. Hikaru nods back, and the two turn around and walk away.
In the city, the sky suddenly turns dark. Many civilians all walking through the streets stop, looking on in confusion. Suddenly, in the midst of the darkness, a vortex of dark energy bursts open and a burst of energy erupts from it. As the energy dissipates, Innaetoris, still in his feral form from before, appears in its place, letting out a horrible screech.
Civilians all gasp in horror as they see Innaetoris appear, many cars screeching to a halt in the middle of the road. Roaring in fury, Innaetoris opens his mouth, releasing a hellfire-like energy blast from his mouth as he attacks the city, civilians all running away in terror as they flee for their lives.
In the dark temple, Tobias smirks as he sees a projection of Innaetoris in the city. "Excellent!" he says. "Whatever that monster is, it will keep Howlett's students distracted…which leaves Howlett for me!" He laughs to himself.
At Howlett Manor, the Rangers all walk outside in the front, looking up in horror as they see Innaetoris. "Its that Hellhound monster!" Bryan says. "Its back."
The Rangers look up as Innaetoris begins rampaging, striking at buildings with his claws. "We have to do something!" Liam says. "We're going to have to split up." Nicole says. "One of us has to go help Ayumi, while the others try to fight off the monster." "No!" Nathan's voice says.
The Rangers all turn around to see Nathan and Hikaru walking up to them. "Nathan!" Nicole says, and the Rangers run over to the two. "We can't just abandon Ayumi." Nicole says. "I can go after her myself and the others can stop that monster." "No." Nathan says, shaking his head. "All six of you need to stop that monster. It's the priority right now." He reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out two Millennium Discs, both of them having a different symbol of them. The symbol is colored gold and features the symbols of multiple different elements all around one core symbol, resembling the Millennium itself. Nathan hands the discs to Nicole. "Take these." Nathan says.
Nicole looks confusedly at the Discs. "What are these?" she asks. "They're the Millennium Discs of Dracodor." Nathan says. "With the other Millennium Beasts too injured to fight, you must use him to fight him off." "You mean we already have control over that thing?" Bryan asks. "That's awesome!" Nathan nods.
"But you need to be careful." Hikaru says. "Dracodor is the King of the Millennium Beasts. Controlling him requires quite a bit of energy. It will require you all to work together to work with him." "Yes." Nathan says. "But I know you can do it."
"But what about Ayumi?" Nicole asks. "We can't just abandon her." "Don't worry about that." Nathan says. "But…" Allison says. "I said don't worry about it!" Nathan interrupts. "Now go!" The Rangers run off, not even questioning Nathan's orders. Nathan sighs as he watches them leave.
Inside Howlett Manor, Nathan opens his closet door where he walks up to the case holding his sword. He opens it and removes it from its storage, looking up at the blade. Then he turns to his left, where he takes the box he looked at from before off the shelf, opening it up and looking down at it with a grimace. Then he turns around, where Hikaru is standing behind him, giving a nod of approval. Nathan nods back.
In the city, Innaetoris screeches as he rampages, crushing buildings with his hands. The Rangers all run up, still unmorphed. As they stop, everyone looks at Innaetoris, looking slightly discouraged. "This is it guys." Nicole says. "Everything rides on this fight. Are you ready?" Everyone nods, their looks of fear now replaced with confidence. "Good!" Nicole says. "Let's do this!" "Right!" the other Rangers respond.
Nicole holds her Millennium Disc up at the ready. "Ready?!" she says, and the other five Rangers follow suit. "Ready!" they respond. The Rangers all insert their Millennium Discs into their Morphers as they call out "Millennium Power!" and their Morphers announce "Earth Charge!" "Air Charge!" "Fire Charge!" "Stone Charge!" "Water Charge!" "Ice Charge!" Then they hit the activation switches on their Morphers as they call out "Total Access!"
In a six-way split-screen effect, all six Rangers' Morphing Sequences are shown in full as they Morph.
The Rangers all pose as they finish Morphing, then Nicole takes out the Dracodor Disc Nathan gave her. "Let's hope this works." she says, then holds it up. "Dracodor! Arise!"
In the mountains, Dracodor's eyes suddenly light up as he awakens and with a powerful roar, he takes flight. In the city, the Rangers run up as Dracodor arrives, hovering in front of the Rangers. "Alright!" Bryan says. "Let's go!" Nicole says, and the Rangers all jump forward, merging with Dracodor.
As the Rangers merge with Dracodor, they arrive in a new cockpit, which appears similar to their other cockpits with gold lighting and a golden pod in the center. "This is awesome!" Chris says. "Alright guys!" Nicole says, as she walks forward, taking the center position at the pod, while the other Rangers stand at her side. "Dracodor!" she says, as she mounts the pod. "Let's go!"
Dracodor nods as it gives a roar and flies toward Innaetoris.
As Innaetoris prepares to strike another building, he stops as he looks up, seeing Dracodor flying at him.
"Fire!" Nicole calls out, pushing forward on the pod.
Dracodor opens his mouth, an energy blast erupting from it. Innaetoris screeches in pain as he takes the hit, getting pushed back from the force of the blast.
"Again!" Adrian says.
Dracodor fires again, Innaetoris crying out as the blast hits around him, his body vanishing behind a series of blasts and explosions, but he quickly recovers and fires his own hellfire energy blast back at Dracodor.
"Whoa!" Nicole says.
Dracodor veers to the left, dodging Innaetoris' energy blast. Innaetoris fires again multiple times, Dracodor flying around and dodging them before finally getting hit by one.
The Rangers all cry out as Dracodor's cockpit shutters, sparks flying from the roof of the cockpit.
Dracodor cries out in pain as he falls out of the air and lands on his back, Innaetoris roaring in fury as he stands over the Millennium Beast and begins walking toward him.
The Rangers all groan as they struggle to recover from the attack. "We have to keep fighting guys!" Nicole says, pushing forward on the pod.
Ayumi wakes up as she looks around, finding herself still suspended in midair as she's surrounded by dark energy. Its unclear where she is, appearing only as a dark abyss. As she finally regains full consciousness, she cries out in pain as she feels some in her feet, then looks down. Dark energy has completely engulfed her feet, slowly making its way up to her legs. She gasps in horror, trying to free herself, but is unable to move. She closes her eyes in fear. "Nathan!" she cries out.
In the rock quarry, Nathan is walking forward, now dressed in the training gear he wore when training with the Rangers before.
In the darkness, Tobias smirks as he looks up, his eyes opening. "Excellent!" he says, clenching his fists in excitement.
Nathan stops in the middle of the quarry, looking around for Tobias. Then, suddenly, the sky grows dark as a blast of dark energy erupts and strikes the ground, causing a huge explosion. Nathan just looks on, unfazed. As the energy vanishes, Tobias emerges from it, smiling deviously.
"So Howlett," he says, "you decided to come after all." "I'm done running away from you." Nathan says. Tobias laughs. "Good." he says.
"Where is Ayumi?!" Nathan demands. Tobias just laughs. "Never mind her!" he says. "You should be more worried about yourself!" "You know we don't have to do this." Nathan says. "Let's talk about this. I can help you." Tobias just laughs. "I don't need any help!" he says. "All I need is to kill you! Then I can put the past behind me and look to the future! A future where I stand as the strongest warrior in the world and rule over everything!" He laughs maniacally.
Nathan shakes his head, looking disappointed. "I can't let that happen!" he says. "As the Millennium Master, it is my sworn duty to protect the world from evil like you!" Tobias chuckles. "But can you do it?!" he asks. Nathan nods. "I will do what I must!" he says. "Whether you're my brother or not…I will defeat you!"
Tobias smiles evilly. "Excellent!" he says. "A challenge! But let's have some fun first!" He holds up his hand and snaps his fingers. In a burst of dark energy, a large horde of assorted soldiers made of Arachnodrones, Culstists and Kurai all appear around the two, surrounding Nathan as they stand next to Tobias. Nathan gasps as he looks around.
From a distance, Desolous, Caelumis and Tonoken all walk up, watching the fight from the top of a nearby hill. Desolous chuckles. "This should be interesting." he says. "Indeed" Tonoken says. Caelumis smiles. "Even the so-called Millennium Master won't stand a chance here!" he says.
Nathan looks toward Tobias, who laughs sadistically. "Let's see how you fight against these guys!" Tobias says. "Then I will finally finish you!" Nathan just looks on with a stern look.
Nathan stands against the soldiers. He takes out his sword, now holding it in his left hand and nods as he hangs it on his left hip. Then he holds up a device in his right hand. The device is roughly the size of the Rangers' Morphers, colored gold and black and made to resemble the head of a dragon, a slot appearing at the bottom where the mouth is. Nathan nods as he looks at it. "Thank you, Ayumi." he says to himself.
Then, looking back at the soldiers, Nathan mounts the device on his left wrist as he calls out "Golden Morpher!"
Nathan takes out one of Dracodor's Millennium Discs, holding it forward. "Millennium Power!" he calls out, bringing his left wrist forward as he inserts the Disc into the open mouth of his Golden Morpher and closing it. "Aether Charge!" his Morpher announces. Then Nathan lowers his left arm, holding his right arm out before bringing his left arm up again and hitting the activation switch with his right hand, calling out "Total Access!"
As Nathan's Morpher activates, his Morphing Sequence is shown. Nathan crosses his arms as the symbols of several elements all hover around him, combining together to form the Millennium itself. Then Nathan cries out as he holds his arms out, the Millennium passing over his body as his torso, arms and legs all vanish in a flash of gold energy. Then the gold energy dissipates to reveal his Gold Ranger suit before Dracodor hovers over Nathan's head, shrinking down and materializes as his helmet, completing his Morphing Sequence.
Nathan steps forward, now Morphed as the Gold Ranger. His suit has a more armored looking appearance, with the secondary color being black instead of white and featuring gold armor over a black spandex suit. A dragon appears on his chest, he has shoulder-pads that resemble the wings of a dragon, the golden chest armor on his suit resembles a scale-like appearance like a dragon, his gauntlet-like gloves feature dragon claws on the knuckles, and his sword is hanging on his left hip. His helmet, meanwhile, resembles a dragon, primarily colored gold with a black visor that has a gold trim around it, the trim made to resemble the teeth and fangs of a dragon, and short gold-colored, spike-like horns extending from the top.
Nathan strikes a pose as he calls out "The Illuminating Light of Aether! I am the Millennium Master! Gold Millennium Ranger! Nathan!"
Tobias smirks. Meanwhile from above, the three leaders watch with interest.
Back in the city, Dracodor roars as he finally regains his footing, taking flight and hovering above Innaetoris, who screeches as he looks up.
Nicole holds up one of Dracodor's Discs. "Let's see what Dracodor can really do!" she says. "Right!" the other Rangers say. "Dracodor!" Nicole says, as she inserts the disc into the slot on her pod. "Transform!"
Dracodor roars as he flies forward, before landing on his hindlegs and beginning transformation. Standing on his hindlegs, his main body extends upward, leaving him standing up straight with new legs. His front claws rotate to the left and right, becoming hands as his front legs become arms. His head, neck and tail all detach as his wings rotate behind him, now on standby. His head and neck detach, with his neck splitting into two units that then attach to the back of his feet. Meanwhile on his head, his jaw opens all the way, revealing a warrior-looking human head, which attaches to the main body. With his right arm, Dracodor takes up his tail as a grip extends from the end of it, creating a sword with a jagged blade made from his scales. With this, Dracodor has completed his transformation, posing with his sword as the Rangers call out "Dragon Master Megazord!"
Back at the quarry, Nathan stands against the soldiers. He reaches over and draws his sword, gripping it with both hands in a readied stance. "Goldenedge!" he calls out.
In the city, the Dragon Master Megazord grips its sword with both hands in a stance similar to Nathan's, standing against Innaetoris.
At the rock quarry, Tobias smirks, pointing forward. "Attack!" he says, and the soldiers charge forward at Nathan. Crying out, Nathan, holding the Goldenedge with his right hand, charges forward.
At the city, Innaetoris lets out a powerful roar before charging forward. "Let's go guys!" Nicole says. "Right!" the other Rangers say, and holding its sword forward, the Dragon Master Megazord charges at Innaetoris.
Both Nathan and the Dragon Master Megazord charge at their opponents, simultaneously. As Nathan engages the soldiers, the Rangers cry out as the Megazord makes impact, slashing at Innaetoris.
Nathan charges right into the middle of a horde of soldiers, slashing the Goldenedge left and right to strike down a few on his sides before slashing upward to take down three more in front of him and then sweeping around to strike down five more behind him.
As more come at Nathan, he fights them all off, slashing down attackers. More come at Nathan, but he just looks on, fearlessly. He slashes down three more as they come at him, before jumping forward. He kicks an Arachnodrone back in a jump kick, before doing a backwards somersault backwards. As he lands, he sends a powerful slash forward, taking out an entire horde of soldiers in one attack.
As Nathan stands up straight, another horde surrounds him from all angles. Gripping the Goldenedge with both hands, Nathan fights off six soldiers as they attack him from different sides. As another attacks him from the left, Nathan blocks the attack with his left forearm before counter-attacking by elbowing it in the stomach, slashing another soldier on his right with the Goldenedge. More soldiers attack him, but he slashes them down left and right, and as the remaining soldiers all come at him at the same time, Nathan jumps up, spinning around as he rapidly slashes multiple soldiers around him at once.
As Nathan lands on the ground, he strikes a pose as all the remaining soldiers vanish behind him in a fiery explosion.
Tobias walks up, standing against Nathan, smirking. "Impressive!" he says. Nathan remains silent. "Now its just us!" Tobias says, and he draws the Shadowedge.
"Dark Millennium!" Tobias calls out as he holds the Shadowedge up. "Empower me! Transform!"
Cut to the final shot of Tobias' Morphing Sequence as he Morphs into the Dark Millennium Warrior, posing as he finishes.
The two brothers hold their swords up in readied stance, standing against each other but saying nothing.
Back in the city, the Rangers all groan as the Dragon Master Megazord, and Innaetoris, both locked in close combat, struggle for control.
"The strain of Dracodor is intense!" Adrian says. "Yeah!" Liam says. "Don't give up guys" Nicole says. She cries out as she pushes forward on the pod.
The Megazord pushes forward with its sword, breaking through Innaetoris' defense and slashing him down his body, the monster crying out as he's forced to retreat a few steps.
Innaetoris recovers and holds his arms out as he releases a hellfire blast from his mouth, the Dragon Master Megazord retreating as it takes the hit.
The cockpit shutters as the Rangers struggle for control, but they maintain composure. "Keep at it guys!" Nicole says. "We won't be defeated!" "We can't!" Chris says.
The Dragon Master Megazord remains on its feet, walking forward. Innaetoris fires again, but the Megazord remains on its feet, still coming at him.
Back at the quarry, Nathan and Tobias stand just a few feet apart, their swords held up at the ready. Then, roaring in fury, Tobias makes the first move, savagely swinging the Shadowedge at Nathan one-handed. Nathan quickly parries the attack and the two then exchange a series of blows, each matching the other move-for-move.
Nathan flips forward, dodging a blow from Tobias and then tries to slash Tobias with the opening he's created, but Tobias sweeps around and slashes a wide-open Nathan across the chest, causing Nathan to stumble back. Recovering quickly, Nathan blocks two more blows from Tobias before throwing two blows of his own, which Tobias easily blocks. The two then attack each other simultaneously, their swords clashing as the two engage in a blade-lock, the two groaning as they struggle for control over each other. Tobias chuckles. "I've waited so long for this!" he says.
Tobias breaks the lock, knocking Nathan off-guard, but thinking fast, Nathan blocks Tobias' oncoming blow before counterattacking by throwing his right elbow into Tobias' chest. Stunned by the force, Tobias retreats back and Nathan takes advantage of the opening, slashing Tobias several times.
Trying to recover, Tobias throws an attack at Nathan, but he easily blocks it before sweeping around and slashing Tobias across the chest, knocking him off his feet. Tobias groans as he falls on his back, struggling to get up.
Nathan lowers the Goldenedge. "You can't win, Tobias." he says. Tobias just laughs. "Oh really?!" he says sarcastically. "What if I raised the stakes a little bit?!" "Huh?" Nathan says.
Tobias laughs as he snaps his fingers. Nathan looks to his right as a flash of dark energy appears just above him and Tobias in the quarry. As the energy dissipates, Ayumi appears in her energy chamber, still trapped inside. Ayumi, who was looking away, looks forward, then looks down, gasping as she sees the dark energy is slowly engulfing her legs.
Nathan gasps. "Ayumi!" he cries out.
"Nathan!" Ayumi says.
Nathan looks back at Tobias. "What are you doing?!" he says. Tobias laughs as he looks forward. "Just making things more fun!" he says. "I've trapped your girlfriend in a dark energy chamber! As time goes on, the dark energy will slowly take over her entire body! And once it does, she will cease to exist!" Nathan gasps as he looks up at Ayumi.
Tobias laughs. "Howlett!" he says. "You will suffer just as I did for all those years! Suffer as you watch your friends die!" "This is between us, Tobias!" Nathan says. "Let her go!"
"Shut up!" Tobias says, shooting his left hand forward and firing a massive dark energy blast at Nathan. Taken off-guard, Nathan holds the Goldenedge up defensively, blocking the blast, but getting pushed back by the force. However, the force proves to be too strong as Nathan is knocked off-guard, the blast hitting him in the chest and knocking him on his back, Nathan groaning in pain.
Ayumi gasps as she watches the fight, looking down as the energy starts moving fast, making its way past her legs and toward her torso and arms. "Nathan…" she says, sounding scared.
As Nathan gets to his feet, Tobias, screaming like a madman, charges at Nathan, throwing a barrage of slashes at Nathan that he's barely able to block. Nathan's weak defense soon lets up as Tobias slashes him on the shoulder, the same one he slashed before. Nathan cries out in pain as he clutches it, and taking advantage of the opening, Tobias runs up to Nathan from behind and grabs him, Nathan groaning as he tries to fight Tobias for control.
Tobias laughs. "What's the matter, Howlett?!" he says, mockingly. "Sad you can't save your friends?!" Nathan says nothing. He throws his shoulder into Tobias' chest, freeing himself, but as he sweeps around to attack again, Tobias parries his blow before punching him in the chest with his left hand before bringing the Shadowedge up in a slashing motion to slash Nathan, the force of the blow knocking Nathan off his feet, Nathan crying out in pain.
Nathan groans as he lands on his stomach, rolling over on his right as he tries to recover. Tobias just laughs. Nathan manages to get back on his feet but struggles to stand up completely.
"You're helpless now, Howlett!" Tobias says. He holds his left fist up, his fist glowing with dark energy as it charges up before he cries out and shoots it forward, a massive energy blast erupting from it. This time, Nathan is unable to block it as he takes the blast in the chest. He drops the Goldenedge as he cries out, falling to his knees before dropping to the ground.
"Nathan!" Ayumi calls out desperately.
Watching the fight from above, the three enemy leaders all laugh. "The end is near!" Desolous says. "Indeed!" Tonoken says. The two walk off, teleporting away in flashes of energy. Caelumis stay back briefly, before smirking. "Goodbye…Power Rangers!" he says sadistically before he too teleports away.
Nathan groans as he tries to get back to his feet, gripping his Goldenedge. Tobias walks up to him as he laughs. Nathan raises his head, but Tobias stomps on it with his left foot, pinning him to the ground. "You're finished now, Howlett!" he says. "The end is near!"
Tobias lets his foot off of Nathan's head before grabbing him by his chest and pulling him up, Nathan groaning. "The dark energy will soon kill your girlfriend!" he says, looking toward Ayumi.
Ayumi gasps as she looks down, the energy now halfway up her body. She tries to free herself, but her body is paralyzed from the energy.
"And your Rangers will fall to that monster!" Tobias says.
Back in the city, Innaetoris screeches as he releases another hellfire energy blast. The Dragon Master Megazord, still walking forward, takes the hit and vanishes behind a powerful blast.
The Rangers all cry out as their cockpit shutters violently.
The Dragon Master Megazord falls on its back, struggling to get up. Innaetoris holds his arms out as he lets out a powerful shriek, dark energy crackling from his body as he does so.
Back at the quarry, Tobias laughs maniacally. "Can you feel it?!" he says mockingly. "Can you feel just how helpless you are now, Howlett?!" Then, growling furiously, he hurls Nathan over his head and sends him flying away, Nathan groaning as he flies through the air before landing hard on the ground on his side, unable to get up.
Tobias chuckles as he looks onto Nathan. "Is this it?!" Tobias asks mockingly. "Is this truly who you are as a warrior?! I expected more!"
Nathan groans as he gets up. "Is that all you got to say?!" he says. "Huh?" Tobias says.
Nathan gets to his feet. "If you think you're so powerful," Nathan says, "then take me down now!" "What?" Tobias says. "Show me your power, Tobias!" Nathan says. "Take me out right here! Think you can take me out with one attack? Hit me with your best shot!"
Tobias laughs. "Fine then!" he says. "I'll send you to Hell, where you and your girlfriend will be reunited!"
Ayumi gasps as she looks on, then looks down, the energy now covering three quarters of her body and moving fast.
Nathan grips the Goldenedge with both hands, holding it up defensively. "Let's have at it, Tobias!" he says. "Hit me with all you've got! No holding back!" "As you wish!" Tobias says, laughing manically. He holds both his hands up, the Shadowedge's blade glowing black with energy, as is his left hand. Nathan just stands in place, holding up his Goldenedge defensively. Tobias chuckles as he readies himself, while Nathan remains silent.
Ayumi looks on, looking incredibly scared as the energy is now up to her neck.
Back in the city, the Dragon Master Megazord, using its sword to steady itself, gets back to its feet.
"We're won't be defeated!" Nicole calls out. As the Rangers cry out, we're shown their faces inside their helmets as they give their battle cries.
Now on its feet, the Dragon Master Megazord holds its sword up at the ready.
Crying out in fury, Tobias grips his Shadowedge with both hands and slashes it forward, releasing a massive energy blast from it. Planting his feet firmly in the ground, Nathan holds his sword up defensively, blocking the force of the blast, but groaning as he struggles to control it, the force of the blast pushing him back.
As Nathan struggles, Ayumi looks on at the fight, the energy now almost entirely engulfing her. Tears streaming down her face, she closes her eyes, ready for death.
Tobias laughs as Nathan struggles against the force of his blast, the Goldenedge now almost up against Nathan's face. Nathan strains, but remains unbeaten. He looks toward Ayumi, then crying out with every last bit of strength he has, he slashes the Goldenedge toward Ayumi's energy chamber, the energy from Tobias' blast suddenly erupting from the sword and hitting Ayumi's energy chamber.
Ayumi gasps as the energy hits it, the chamber suddenly vanishing around her and she drops out of midair and hits the ground, the dark energy vanishing from her body. Ayumi opens her eyes, looking around, then looking at Nathan, smiling as she gives a sigh of relief.
Nathan gives his own sigh as he lowers his Goldenedge, clutching his stomach as he breathes heavily. "WHAT?!" Tobias screams as he sees this, looking first at Ayumi, then Nathan. "DAMN YOU, HOWLETT!" he shouts at the top of his lungs. Nathan just looks at Tobias and grunting heavily, he holds his Goldenedge up, this time in an attack stance.
Back in the city, Innaetoris screechs as he charges forward. The Rangers all cry out as the Dragon Master Megazord charges forward as well.
Energy erupts from Innaetoris' claws as he slashes at the Megazord, but using its sword, the Megazord blocks the blows and slashes Innaetoris across the chest.
"Millennium Energy!" the Rangers call out as Nicole pushes forward on the pod.
Holding its arms out, the Dragon Master Megazord releases an energy blast that dons the symbol of the Millennium from its chest, the blast hitting Innaetoris and pushing him back.
Growling furiously, Innaetoris recovers and fires a hellfire energy blast at the Rangers.
"Whoa!" Nicole says, pushing forward on the pod.
The Dragon Master Megazord extends its wings and takes flight, dodging the energy blast.
"CHARGE!" the Rangers all call out, Nicole crying out as she pushes forward on the control pod.
Holding its sword forward, the Dragon Master Megazord flies right at Innaetoris. Roaring in fury, Innaetoris fires another energy blast.
"Millennium Energy!" Nicole calls out. "Shield Mode!"
As the Megazord keeps flying forward, its chest lights up, the same energy projecting in front of it, shielding the Megazord from the energy blast. Innaetoris keeps firing, but the shield holds firm as the Megazord keeps flying at him.
The Rangers all cry out loudly as they keep on their attack. Liam and Chris have both grabbed onto Nicole's shoulders, Bryan, Allison and Adrian holding onto their shoulders as well, all giving their strength together to keep Dracodor under control.
Finally, the Megazord swoops up, the energy shield dissipating as the Megazord slashes Innaetoris hard while flying past it, Innaetoris crying out in pain.
The Dragon Master Megazord pulls to a halt as it lands on its feet, turning around to face Innaetoris.
"Now let's finish this!" Nicole says. "Right!" the other Rangers say.
"Millennium Power!" Nicole calls out, inserting the second Dracodor Disc into the slot. As she does, energy crackles from the control pod, the entire cockpit spewing sparks as the Rangers strain to control.
"Draco Saber!" the Rangers call out. The Dragon Master Megazord holds its sword out, the blade glowing white with energy. As it rotates the blade around, several element symbols surround the Megazord, all of them getting absorbed into the Megazord as the Millennium Symbol appears behind the Megazord.
The Rangers continue to strain for control as they call out "Master Elemental Burst!"
The energy projection of the Millennium spinning around behind it, the Dragon Master Megazord slashes the Draco Saber diagonally, sending an energy slash with the energy projection of the Millennium shooting forward. The attack pierces through Innaetoris, who screeches in pain as he's thrown back by the force of the attack.
As the Dragon Master Megazord looks on, Innaetoris cries out as he turns around, then falls forward his body vanishing in a fiery explosion. The Dragon Master Megazord poses at its victory.
The Rangers all give sighs of relief, Nicole leaning against the pod to support her, while the other Rangers all fall on their backs, everyone breathing heavily. "Good work guys." Nicole says between breaths. "That was a tough one!"
As the Rangers continue to recover, they don't see a burst of dark energy emerge from the wreckage of the explosion, the energy having an ominous pair of red eyes inside it and floating away.
Back at the quarry, Nathan cries out as he charges forward, an explosion erupting behind him as he dodges an energy blast from Tobias.
As Nathan reaches Tobias, he opens up with a massive barrage of attacks, Tobias barely able to block. Tobias tries to attack himself, but Nathan knocks him off-guard twice and each time he slashes Tobias in the chest in a counterattack.
"Whether you're my brother or not," Nathan says, "you will not be allowed to prevail!" Nathan blocks another blow from Tobias before slashing him across the chest, causing him to stumble backwards. Recovering, Tobias growls in fury. "DAMN YOU!" he says, launching himself at Nathan in an attempt to attack him again, but Nathan, thinking fast, grips the Goldenedge with both hands and brings forth a heavy slash, slashing across Tobias and hitting him hard as he moves past him.
Tobias cries out in pain as he falls forward, landing on his stomach.
Nathan turns around, lowering his sword. As he does, he briefly peers to his left, where he sees the other Rangers, still Morphed, running up on a nearby cliff. "Looks like my students prevailed!" he says.
The Rangers all look on in confusion. "Another Ranger?!" Adrian says. "Huh?!" Allison says. "Its Nathan!" Liam says. "Alright!" Nicole says. "No way!" Chris says. "Get him Nate!" Bryan says.
Tobias groans as he gets to his feet, clutching his chest. He chuckles to himself. "Can you really do this?!" he says, mockingly. "Do you have the guts to strike me down?!"
Nathan looks down, briefly hesitating.
"That's right Howlett." Tobias says in a flashback. "You and me…we're half-brothers!"
Nathan snaps back. "I will do what's necessary!" he says. "To protect the world from evil! No matter who that evil is!"
The Rangers all gasp.
Tobias laughs. "Fine then!" he says. "Show me!"
Nathan holds up the Goldenedge. "Goldenedge!" he calls out, and as he rotates the sword around, the blade glows gold with energy as the Millennium appears behind him. Then Nathan grips the sword with both hands as the Millennium dissipates and is absorbed into the Goldenedge's blade.
Crying out, Nathan swoops forward, toward Tobias. "Master Slash!" he calls out, slashing Tobias horizontally as he swoops past him. As Nathan comes to a halt, Tobias cries out as he's sent flying off the edge of a cliff, his body vanishing in a fiery explosion, and Nathan holding his pose. The other Rangers just look on.
Ayumi smiles, giving a sigh of relief and nodding approval.
Nathan sheaths the Goldenedge, standing tall over his victory. He sighs as he looks down but he quickly regains composure. "I am the Millennium Master." he says calmly. "And where there is evil…I will stop them at all costs!"
Nicole nods. "Good job, Nathan!" she thinks to herself. Adrian just nods. "Welcome to the fight, boss!" Chris says excitedly. "Looking great, Nate!" Bryan says. "Nathan is so awesome!" Allison says excitedly. "Yeah!" Liam says. "Hey…what about Ayumi?!"
Everyone gasps. "Where is she?!" Adrian says, everyone looking around, then Nicole looks to her left, pointing in the direction. "There she is!" she says. "Look!"
Still Morphed, Nathan is carrying Ayumi in his arms, Ayumi wrapping her arms over his neck and resting her head on his shoulder. "You okay, Ayumi?" Nathan asks. Ayumi nods. "Yeah!" she says. "Just a little pain." "I'm sorry." Nathan says. "I shouldn't have hesitated. Its my fault you got hurt." Ayumi smiles. "Not at all!" she says, patting him on his left shoulder. "I believed in you, Nathan!" she says.
The other Rangers run up to Nathan, still Morphed. "Nathan!" Nicole calls out. "Nathan!" Allison says. "Nice one, Nate!" Bryan says. Nathan just nods. "You all did well too!" he says. "Now let's go home! All of us!" "Yeah!" the Rangers all shout, and together, the seven Rangers walk home, Nathan still carrying an injured Ayumi.
At Howlett Manor, the Rangers are all gathered in the dining room, the table filled with assorted and delicious-looking food. Nathan sits at the head of the table. Ayumi, her left ankle wrapped in a splint, sits right next to him. The Rangers all sit on the sides of the table, including Hikaru, who's arm is still wrapped in a cast.
Nathan stands up, holding up his glass of drink. "I propose a toast!" he says. "A toast to our victory today! I am proud of all of you!" Nicole stands up, holding up her glass. "I also propose a toast!" she says. "To the Millennium Master! Our Millennium Master! Without whom we could have never won today!"
Nathan smiles. "Our battle is far from over." he says. "We still have to stop our other enemies…and we can't be certain we've seen the last of that Hellhound monster, but today we celebrate victory! Cheers!" "Cheers!" the Rangers all call out, holding their glasses up and taking a sip.
Nathan smiles as he sits down. "And," he continues, "I want to give a special thanks to Ayumi here." Ayumi smiles as she looks at Nathan. "Thank you for having faith in me when no one else did." Nathan says. "I couldn't have done what I did today without you!" Ayumi blushes bright red as she looks down, nodding shyly. Nathan puts his hand on Ayumi's shoulder, looking adoringly at her.
"Alright, alright!" Bryan says. "Enough of all these toasts! I'm starving!" Nathan chuckles. "Dig in everyone!" he says, and the Rangers all start filling their plates with food.
Back in the rock quarry, Tobias' unconscious body, now unmorphed, lies in the wreckage of the explosion. His forehead has a bloody gash on it, and blood is streaming out of his mouth.
The dark energy that emerged from Innaetoris' body suddenly appears, hovering above him. Then, suddenly, the energy dissipates as it is absorbed into Tobias' body, Tobias shaking violently as his body receives the energy.
As the energy is fully absorbed, Tobias' face becomes paler, and suddenly, his eyes, now the bright and demonic crimson color of Innaetoris, burst wide open as we fade to black…
