Ok this is just a quick little one shot that I wrote during class. I hope yall like it!
A Little Rain
"Ranma, why do you hate me… uhh… my cooking so much?" Akane was on the verge of tears after Ranma oh so gracefully refused her food… again and like he always does.
Akane thought that she would surprise Ranma with some cold noodles and tea since it was so hot that day and it was just the two of them at home. Nabiki was off looking at colleges for the weekend and both their fathers went to a beer-fu contest in Hokkaido and would probably not be home for about a week.
"It's not hate, its just that its hard to…" Ranma couldn't speak anymore because of the silent tears and the hurt look on her face as she slowly got up from the table.
"Never mind Ranma, I just thought you'd be hungry since Kasumi wont back until tomorrow afternoon."
During this time, while Akane had been attempting to cook and Ranma had been watching tv, neither of them had noticed or heard the storm roll in.
Akane opened the sliding doors and left to go sit by the koi pond to soak her feet and cool off while the temperature peaked at 102 for the day.
Why cant I ever say what I want around her?
Why cant he accept something I offer him?
She always does so much for me…
He always goes to the other fiancées… why? Does he really care so little for me?
I have to do something or say something to show her I care, but what?
" 'Kane wait!" Ranma ran out after her not hearing the thunder roll in.
Akane paused for a second before she continued walking to the pond and was about to sit on the side when Ranma grabbed her arm to stop her from sitting down.
" 'Kane WAIT!" Ranma's breath caught in his throat and he couldn't finish talking once he laid his eyes on Akane's face.
"Beautiful…" he breathed
"Wha…?" she didn't get to finish before Ranma reached up with both of his hands to cup her face, using his thumbs to wipe away her tears.
"I said" leaning closer to wards her, "you're beautiful" he whispered while slowly closing his eyes and finally sealing his lips with hers.
After feeling her tense, Ranma began to pull away but stopped when he felt Akane's arms wrap around his neck. As soon as Ranma felt this, he wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer to deepen the kiss.
After standing there for a minuet or two, Ranma nibbled on Akane's bottom lip asking for entrance. Slightly opening her mouth and a moan of acceptance, Ranma dove deeper and unconsciously pulled Akane closer, if it was possible to.
After what seemed like hours, but was actually only 5 minuets, Akane pulled away after feeling a large amount of pressure she never felt before, nor thought she'd ever feel. "Ranma, wait"
"W-what id i-it 'Kane?" Ranma stammered while still trying to catch his breath. "What's wrong? Why are you wet?"
"I-it's raining… and you're still a boy!"
After Akane said that, shock and realization spread across Ranma's face.
"B-but HOW?"
"Who cares! You aren't changing now!" And after Akane said this, Ranma realized that it was true and he grabbed her in a big hug and swung her around laughing.
When Ranma put Akane down, they were both smiling and laughing. With Akane's arms wrapped around his neck and his around her waist, Ranma thought
I have to tell her now
"I love you"
You do? Wow… you beat me at something."
"What? What are you talking about?"
"What I meant to say is… I love you too my beautiful tomboy."
And with that the world around them was lost during a little rain.
