Chapter 176: Kouna's first date
The next day, the Midoriya twins got woken up by Drake and Gretel respectively to go a date for their seventeenth birthday, causing the twins themselves to smile as they went to the common room so Drake can tell Hisashi and Gretel that he's going to he and Kouna are going on their first date at a restaurant in Skyland Township. After Gretel say that they are going to Gustavo in the academy's shopping district, Drake borrows Hisashi's car to take Kouna to Skyland Township, where they reached a restaurant called Cloudtop Cruise Diner, causing Kouna to make excited noises as she ran inside with Drake behind her. They then sat together, so Drake can give Kouna her birthday present (which is an African amulet that represent love) before looking at the menus to find something to eat. Meanwhile, Esme was talking to Gretel before telling everyone that it's now time to plan the twins' 17th birthday party.
Back at Clodtop Cruise Diner, Drake starts to think about Hisashi's warning about playing games with Kouna's heart before asking her if she dated anyone before him, causing Kouna herself to say no before saying that people just assume that she'll kill them if they break her heart. She then told Drake about how a villain made her feel bad and decided to use brute force that instantly killed him, thus making her so emotional, that she called her extreme strength a curse. Drake then put his hand on Kouna hand before assuring her that her strength is a gift that she she earned for standing up for others and doing what's right no matter what, causing her to smile just in time as their food arrive. Soon, Drake asks a waiter if he could put on romantic music for him and Kouna, which caused him to whisper to the conductor to let the band play "My heart will go on" from Titanic as the couple get on the dance floor and began to dance together.
Soon, Drake and Kouna went outside as Kouna herself told her boyfriend that this is just like when they were kids, which caused Drake himself to agree and pointed out that she was over-the-top dramatic back then. Kouna then give Drake a look before asking what he means. After a moment of arguing, Drake and Kouna began making out before looking at each other dreamily. Meanwhile, Hisashi and Gretel went to the Franklin Institute of science with Gretel as a giant, which caused the ground to shake with booming footsteps until they finally reached the museum. Hisashi then decided to tell his girlfriend a fact about him and Kouna, which is that before their parents decided on their name, there was another choice of names for them: Akko and Katchem Midoriya, which caused Gretel to say that they are cute names before getting an idea of making them the names of their children. Soon, Hisashi and Gretel watched a presentation together until Gretel gets a text from Prince saying that it's time for them to come back to the dormitory, causing Gretel herself to grab Hisashi and set off back to the dormitory as the ground shakes with booming footsteps.
