Just a slight exercise in description, an area in which I felt I needed to improve.

Duel Stance

Both wielding two blades, their attacks met, each clanging off the other. In that instant, one set down his swords. His foe began to prepare, and each readied their weapons. Each garbed in silver, their swords were pulled back and at the ready. Time seemed to slow for each, and cherry blossoms fell from a treeless landscape. The area around them darkened as their eyes began to perceive faster than the lighting of the area could keep up. Both clad in silver, one's heart was pumping fast with adrenaline while the other had no heart with which to pump. The observation began. For what felt like interminable seconds of a reckless, fast-paced battle, each simply stood, watching the other waiting for a flinch, a movement, a revelation of an opening. For all of those seconds, each stood stock still. The petals fell to the ground, and all movement ceased. The raging battle around them had slowed to barely a crawl in their eyes. Stars, moons, and magic had ceased to matter. All that the two were concerned with were 4 swords. All of a sudden, one began moving, but, even, he appeared to be moving at a slow, trickling pace. With trained reaction and impossible speed, the first to move was dispatched with ease, as the world returned to normal speed and focus.

"Can you do that, Riku?" said Sora, smiling as he returned from his Final form, defending himself from assorted blows..

"What just happened? You were in front of that samurai, and then, all of a sudden, the samurai was gone, and you were standing right there!" exclaimed Riku, both surprised and appalled at this turn of events.

"What just happened? That was a duel stance."
