A lot of things had happened to Nate at BBQ, and he had only been there for a day. His Yo-kai Watch had fused with an alien device called the Omnitrix, which allowed him to transform into aliens, he and his friends (who were human/alien hybrids) fought off an alien robot in the forest, and was met by a group of alien Police Officers called Plumbers, which his mom was a part of. Currently, everyone was at the Adams household, where Lily was making some food for dinner. As she cooked, Aaron was watching the news while Nate and his friends (both visible and not) were chatting with Patelliday, who was telling them of the various adventures that she and Lily had.
Nate: Wow. Mom really fought off an entire army of space pirates in her younger years?
Patelliday: Yep. Saved me from becoming a fish fry!
Whisper: Well, I certainly never expected Nate's mother to be something like a space cop.
Jibanyan: Nyeah, I don't think anybody was, Whisper.
Buck: Golly, bein' a Plumber sounds awesome! Hope I can be one someday!
Lily: Well, Plumbers Academy does have classes for beings around your age. Maybe I can have Maxwell slip the lot of you in.
Austin: Really?! Sweet!
Patelliday: Ah, it's nice to see the youth being so enthusiastic about a good cause.
Suddenly, a fowl, putrid smell filled the air, which caused nearly everyone to retch and cover their mouths.
Whisper: GOOD HEAVENS! What on Earth is that disgusting smell!?
Mary-Lou: Guh...I know this smell. I-it couldn't be...?
Sue-Ellen: God, I hope it isn't what it think it is.
Nate: Mm, smells good!
Patelliday: You said it, kid!
Buck: I-I'm sorry, you like the way that smells?! What even is it, anyway?
Patelliday/Nate: Quartilloptus Soup!
Mary-Lou: Ugh, I knew it.
Wyatt: What in tarnation is Quartilloptus Soup?
Mary-Lou: It's an alien cuisine. My dad would always make it when I was sick, and I could never stomach it.
Nate: Really? I've had stuff like that since I was a baby.
Sue-Ellen: Dare I ask you to specify what else you've eaten?
Nate: Well, if you want specifics-
Sue-Ellen: NEVER MIND!
Everyone couldn't help but laugh at that sudden outburst. But as they finished, Nate's attention was caught by the news. Normally, he didn't really care about what the news had to offer, as he saw them as incredibly controversial, but this time, the topic they were currently on caught his attention.
News Man: ...This just in, an attempted robbery by the Bug Brothers at Gourd Pond Museum was recently thwarted by Springdale's resident superheroine, Lucky Girl! As of late, the young heroine has been as busy as a bee, stopping varying crimes around the entirety of Springdale! Stay tuned for more info!
Nate: Lucky Girl, huh? Name sure rings a bell...
Lily: Dinner's ready, everyone!
Nate: Oh, sweet! Soup time!
Patelliday: About time, too. I'm starving!
Aaron: Eh...not exactly thrilled about this...
Lily: Don't worry, Aaron, I made you and the others some ramen.
Austin: Oh, phew! No offense, but I don't think I'd be able to stomach that odd stew. But ramen is something I can sink my teeth into!
Eagerly, everyone ran to the table to eat the meals that Lily had made for them, planning to go more in depth about the Plumbers and what they did. But, I'm not sure about you, but I have a feeling we should be checking up on things back at Springdale. Lets get on that, shall we?
Back at Nate's original city of Springdale, a girl on Gourd Pond Museum's roof, who looked akin to a 5th grader with purple skin in a white outfit with blue and pink highlights and a white, cat-like mask (that also had blue and pink highlights with glowing pink hair and eyes was watching the police take away Maurice and Sydney (better known as the Bug Brothers) after she had beaten the ever living snot out of them for trying to rob said museum. This was Lucky Girl, Springdale's resident heroine. With a confident smirk, she began to jump from rooftop to rooftop, until she made her way to an apartment complex in the distance.
Once she reached one of the apartment's balcony on the third floor, she opened one of the glass doors and entered a room decorated with posters and merch from a show called Sailor Cuties. Then, with a deep breath, a wave of pink/magenta energy washed over her, causing her outfit and appearance to change. Her mask and hero outfit was gone, now being replaced with glasses, a blue shirt with a yellow music note, a pink cardigan, a white miniskirt, blue leggings and yellow shoes. On her left wrist was a familiar looking watch. This was Lucky Girl's secret identity; Hailey Anne Thomas.
Hailey: And I'm back in time for dinner! Sorry if I kept you waiting, Usapyon.
Usapyon, an otter Yo-kai in a yellow, rabbit themed space suit with a laser blaster that had elements of a carrot, was sitting on her desk. With little effort, Usapyon got down from the desk and walked over to Hailey's side.
Usapyon: Nah, I'm fine, pard'ner. But yer family was gettin' suspicious of me when I disguised as ya.
Hailey: Well, that's to be expected. I'll bring you back some once we're done.
Hailey exited her room, went to the kitchen table and sat in her seat alongside her brother Joshua and her mother Michelle, completely unaware that her life as a superheroine was gonna get a lot more serious that she would like it to be.
Fast forward to the next morning, Hailey reluctantly woke up from her slumber, had some breakfast, got ready for school, quickly hopped on her bike and began to book to Springdale Elementary, not wanting to be late like she was so many times in the past. After a bit of pedaling, Hailey, along with Usapyon, who was following close behind Hailey, eventually reached her school, where her best friend, Jessica Stonewood, was waiting for her.
Jessica: Wow. You're actually on time for once!
Hailey: Hey, what can I say? I strive for excellence!
Jessica: What're you, a mustang?
Hailey: whatever! Come on, lets get to class!
The two girls entered Springdale Elementary and made their way to Class 5-1. Once they reached their class, the two girls sat in their seats and waited patiently for the class to begin. Soon, the entire class had all of its students and the teacher began to speak to the class.
Mr. Smith: Alright, Class, please take out your text books and turn to page 145. We're going to be reading and taking notes today.
Everyone in the class took out the textbooks in their desks, took out their journals from their bags and began to read through the textbook, occasionally taking notes on important topics that would be on an upcoming test. Like a bunch of busy bees, Class 5-1 began to work, the only sounds that filled the room were the noises of pages turning and pencils scribbling.
This went on for a long while, around forty minutes or so, until the bell rang, which prompted everyone to get up out of their seats and head to their next class. Hailey and Jessica walked together as they chatted to one another as they walked through the halls of Springdale Elementary. But as they were talking, Hailey accidentally bumped into someone, causing said person to drop an odd looking book. When Hailey looked at the student, she noticed that her hair was unkempt, she looked like she hadn't slept in a good month and her clothes were wrinkly and messy. Most odd of all, the heart that was on her shirt, which was near the bottom left of it, seemed to be cracked.
Hailey: Oh, crud, I'm sorry.
Depressed girl: No need to be sorry...I wasn't looking where I was going.
The sad looking girl picked up the book she dropped and continued along her way, leaving Hailey and Jessica stunned for a few seconds. After a bit of looking at the girl as she walked away, the two students continued along their way to their next class. As they walked through the school, though, Hailey seemed to have recognized the girl who walked by her. But she checked with Jessica just to be sure that she was correct.
Hailey: Hey Jessica, that girl was Katie, right?
Jessica: You mean that girl that was involved with the whole debacle involving that boy genius, Nate? Yeah, that was her.
Hailey: She looked horrible.
Jessica: I think she's been beating herself up after the events of the incident. Don't know why, though. From what I heard she was manipulated by that brat Eddie and his partner Bear.
Hailey: Ugh, don't get me started on those freaks. Didn't Eddie's parents take away all of his stuff and force him to work at the local Community Center as a way to repent?
Jessica: Yeah, and I'm pretty sure Bear was sent to a Boot Camp in order to straighten him out. Or did he go of his own volition? I honestly can't remember...
Hailey: If I recall correctly, it was his decision. Said that "it was his way of taking accountability for his horrid actions" or something like that.
Jessica: Well, at least he was responsible enough to punish himself.
The two girls continued their chat as they walked to their next class, completely unaware that a mysterious figure with glowing, magenta eyes was listening in to their conversation from outside the school house via some sort of odd magic. As the being listening to the conversation, they couldn't help but smile a wicked smile as they began to ponder a plan.
Skipping through the time yet again, at the final few minutes of the final class of the day, many of the students were conversing among themselves, with the topics being mainly about what they were going to do on the weekend when it eventually came around. During the downtime, Hailey and Jessica were discussing their plans for Sunset Mall after school.
Hailey: So, after we go back home, we get ready and head to Sunset Mall?
Jessica: Yep, sounds like a plan. Oh, and how's the whole...
Jessica looked around a bit before following up on her sentence with a soft whisper.
Jessica, whispering: Lucky Girl thing?
Hailey, whispering: Going good.
The two girls couldn't help but giggle and their sudden shifty attitude. But that moment of giggling was cut off by the sound of a massive explosion that seemed to take place a good distance away from the school, shocking everyone that heard it, throwing them into a sudden, although silent, panic.
Hailey: Speaking of which...
Usapyon: Don't worry, I'll go an' take yer place.
Jessica: And I'll make sure to cover up any abnormal behavior.
With a nod, Hailey quickly and quietly summoned the Yo-kai Dimmy in order to become practically unnoticeable to the human eye. She then slipped out of the class with no one noticing, with Usapyon quickly taking her place with a human disguise. She quickly made her way out of the school's district and, after she politely asked Dimmy to stop Inspiriting her, towards the sounds of the chaos. Once she was close enough to the sounds of destruction, Hailey quickly dipped into an abandoned alleyway.
Hailey: Alright. I'm feelin' lucky!
A pulsing wave of pink and magenta energy began to wash over Hailey, with her hair and eyes glowing in that two-toned color. Her skin went from its normal color to a vibrant purple, and her outfit began to change from her normal attire to her hero outfit, starting with her boots, to her lower and upper torso, all the way to her cat like mask. After her outfit was fully on, she struck a heroic pose. She was Hailey Anne Thomas no longer, as now, she was the Might Magical Heroine of Springdale;
Lucky Girl!
Lucky Girl: Alright! Time to kick some tail!
Hailey, now as her heroic alter ego, Lucky Girl ran out of the alleyway and made her way to the area where the explosion took place by following the plume of smoke that was rising high into the air. After a bit of running, Lucky Girl reached the source of the smoke; the Community Center. Or, what remained of it, at least. The entire building had been decimated, with there being no signs of it even existing other than the rubble around the area.
Lucky Girl: Wow. Somebody isn't a fan of community service...who even did this, though?
The magical heroine began to walk through the remains of the community center, examining the crumbling structure for any clues for who had destroyed the place. It took a bit, but eventually, our heroine eventually found something akin to evidence; an odd looking charm with irregular markings. Out of curiosity, she reached out to it with her right hand so she could examine it. But before she could grab it, the odd Charm began to float into the air, until it was around the height of Lucky Girl's head. She didn't freak out though, as she was way too curious about what was currently happening.
Lucky Girl: Whoa...well aren't you just a curious little thing.
On an instinct, Hailey held out her right hand to the odd Charm. It then began to float down to the top of her hand and seemed to magnetize directly onto the glove that her hand wore. As soon as it was attached, Hailey felt a surge of energy wash through her. What was most likely a few seconds felt like a good few hours. Eventually, however, the surge stopped and Hailey felt her body return to normal.
Lucky Girl: Whoa! Now that was a rush. But...what did it do, exactly? I honestly can't tell...
With a shrug, Lucky Girl, who didn't have enough evidence of who caused the explosion, continued to search through the remains of the Community Center. She thought that she'd be there for a long darn time, considering how large the Community Center was. But, much to her surprise (and/or luck), she found a piece of evidence simply by lifting up a piece of debris; a piece of magenta cloth that looked to be torn from an outfit. With a grin, Lucky Girl snatched the cloth up.
Lucky Girl: Perfect! If I use a tracking spell with this, I might find the person responsible for the destruction of the Community Center!
She quickly exited the remains of the Community Center, and was met by the Springdale Police Department, who seemed to have arrived rather recently. More importantly, she saw a familiar, elderly man with a red, floral Hawaiian shirt among the crowd of police, so she went over and began to wave him down.
Lucky Girl: Hey, Mr. Tennyson!
The elderly man turned to Lucky Girl, shocked at first by her sudden shouting, but as soon as her saw Lucky Girl, Mr. Tennyson's shocked expression turned to a kind and confident smile.
Max: Ah, Lucky Girl, I thought I'd see you here. And please, I told you to call me Max.
Lucky Girl: Heh, right, sorry. Anyways, I got here as soon as I could, I searched the area and I think I found a way to track our culprit.
Lucky Girl showed Maxwell Tennyson the piece of cloth he found from the building's remains.
Lucky Girl: If I can use a tracking spell on this, I might be able to track down the original wearer of this outfit. But it's gonna take a little time.
Max: Please. Take all of the time you need.
With a nod, Lucky Girl, stepped away so she could have some privacy. Once she was far enough, she clenched the cloth in her hand and began to focus, which caused her hands to glow with a pink and magenta aura. The light around her eyes also seemed to glow even brighter than they already were.
Lucky Girl: Invenio Originale!
After she said the incantation, multiple streams of magenta energy shot out from the aura's around Lucky Girl's hands, which slithered and slinked all around the entirety of Springdale. With an abnormal agility, each stream bolted around Springdale, and any and all information that was gathered by these streams was given to her immediately. Even though she was expecting this process to take a long time (as it usually did), Lucky Girl found a lead almost instantly. In Breezy Hills, by Gourd Pond Museum, was a robed girl with long, flowing, floating (oddly enough) white hair that was up in a ponytail (said ponytail was held up in a bow). Her top was magenta while her skirt was a dark pink, and she wore dark grey thigh high boots. The top and bottom of her outfit was decorated with black markings, and the top specifically had some sort of popped collar look to it.
But what stood out most was the massive tear that her top had to its left side. Upon seeing that massive hole, Hailey snapped out of her magic induced trance, which caused the spell to cancel out. Quickly, she ran back to Max and the police to report her findings.
Lucky Girl: Alright, Mr. Tennys-Max. I've got a read on our criminals location!
Max: Whoa, that was quick. Normally it takes you a bit to properly find someone.
Lucky Girl: Yeah, I know. Come to think of it, ever since I found this thing at the Community Center-
The heroine lifted her right hand to show the odd Charm she had found.
Lucky Girl: -I've been having a lot more luck with this type of stuff. The moment this thing attached to me, I found this piece of cloth after a second of searching.
Officer 1: Hey, that thing kinda looks familiar...looks like something I saw at the museum.
Lucky Girl: Really? What was it?
Officer 1: Gimme a sec, I'm trying to remember it...
Officer 2: Can we not do this right now? We got ourselves a crook to-
Officer 1: Ah, I remember now! That's part of a set of charms known as the Charms of Bezel. If I recall correctly, they were forged by an all powerful sorcerer of the same name, but due to how dangerous the charms actually were, he sealed them away in various locations here in Springdale, before it was the bustling city its known as today. The one that you have is the Charm of Luck, judging by those markings.
Lucky Girl: Interesting...but why would our local arsonist pass up on something as powerful as this?
Max: Maybe she wasn't looking for the Charms. Maybe she was looking for something else...or someone else.
Officer 2: Well, we aren't gonna get any answers by standing around here, now are we? C'mon, we gotta get going before that crook skips town!
Lucky Girl: Sounds like a plan. I'll head on over there so I can try and catch her for some questioning.
Without saying another word, Lucky Girl began to book it for Breezy Hills, leaving the police and Max in the dust. Max, however, couldn't help by crack a bit of a smile as he looked on as the heroine ran away.
Max, softly: You've certainly grown up a lot since we last met, Hailey...never stop fighting for what you believe in.
After a long bit of running, Lucky Girl finally arrived at her desired location; Breezy Hill's Gourd Pond Museum. And it was looking worse for wear. While it wasn't completely destroyed, visible damage was obviously done to the place. So, without hesitation, Lucky Girl ran into the building, seeing just how much damage was done to its interior when she got in there. What caught her attention, however, wasn't the amount of destruction that was caused to the building. No, what caught her eye the most was a familiar robed woman with white hair. Even better, she didn't seem to notice Lucky Girl yet.
Not wanting to spoil her element of surprise, our magical heroine began to carefully sneak around the museum, using the debris as cover in order to stay out of sight. While she carefully snuck around, Lucky Girl got a better look at the attacker. The black markings on the front of her shirt made a symbol that looked like a broken heart, she had a brown streak in her hair and her eyes were glowing pink, while her iris's and pupils were magenta. And that's not the only thing she saw, as Lucky Girl saw that the mysterious attacker seemed to have a hostage, who was wrapped up by a bunch of thorny vines. Once she got a good look at the hostage, she knew immediately. It the manipulator who was sent to do volunteer work at the Community Center;
Lucky Girl, softly: Eddie Archer?! What does she want with that freak?
White haired girl: Well, well, well...Edward. How has your life been, you pathetic wretch?
Eddie: Ack! W-who are you?! Why are you doing this to me?!
White haired girl: Who I am is not important. But as to why I'm doing this? It's quite simple, really; to make you pay for your past transgressions. Or need you be reminded of how you manipulated your "friends"?
Eddie: How do you know that?! Listen here, you freak, if you don't let me go right now, I swear that I-
White haired girl: Will do what? Your mother and father have cut you off entirely, the entire town despises you and your two friends have left you to rot. Face it, Edward, you have nothing. You ARE nothing. And you will never achieve anything you desire, all because you saw Nathan Adams as a weak, insignificant bug that needed to be crushed. But now...it's time for you to be the one in that position. It's time for you to feel all the pain you put on that poor, poor boy!
With an furious expression, the robed figure raised her hand towards Eddie, which glowed with an aura similar to Lucky Girl whenever she used magic, with the only real difference that the magenta was on the inside of the aura, while the pink was on the outside.
White haired girl: Merchucus Verditis!
After she finished her incantation, bolts of magenta lightning shot out of her hand and directly towards Eddie, who braced for the attack. Deciding she saw enough, Lucky Girl dismounted over the debris she was hiding behind and spoke an incantation of her own.
Lucky Girl: Presidium!
Suddenly, a pink, domed shield surrounded Eddie, causing the electric attack to bounce off from said shield and directly through the roof of the museum, causing glass to shatter and fall to the ground. By the time the glass finished falling, the shield around Eddie vanished. The odd attacker, began to look around for who used such a spell, seemingly agitated that her plan to torture Eddie was delayed.
White haired girl: Who dares?!
Lucky Girl: Down here, lady!
The sorceress looked down and saw Lucky Girl, almost shocked that she was here.
White haired girl: L-Lucky Girl? H-here?!
Lucky Girl: You bet. Now, I don't know what you're doing, but you need to stop!
White haired girl: Stop? Why should I stop? After all of the damage this monster has done, I see no reason to show him mercy!
Lucky Girl: Listen, I get that you hate him for what he did. Heck, I'm pretty sure everyone in Springdale does. But if you do this, you'll become worse than him. And something tells me that that's the last thing that you want, Miss...?
Charmcaster: The name is Charmcaster. And, no...I don't. But nobody else in this godforsaken city isn't giving him a proper punishment, so I'm planning on giving him one that he won't ever forget!
Lucky Girl: Oh, no you don't! Segma Sofom!
Multiple pieces of debris began to glow with a pink aura and started to float. Lucky Girl then held out her hands, causing the debris to launch at Charmcaster, who flew through the air, dodging the projectiles with ease. Charmcaster then blasted Lucky Girl with more bolts of electricity, which she dodged with an abnormal agility. Each attack that the two girls launched at one another were dodged with ease.
During the fight, however, Lucky Girl noticed that Charmcaster had a charm near the area where her popped collar starts to separate, almost as if she was wearing it like some sort of heirloom. Said charm looked exactly like the one Lucky Girl had found at the Community Center, with the only thing that differed being the markings. It didn't take a genius to figure out that the charm she wore was the reason behind her capability of flight. All Lucky Girl had to do was find a way to get Charmcaster close enough so she could take that Charm of Bezel away from her. So, while Charmcaster was destracted by avoiding the debris she tossed, Lucky Girl ducked for cover and made sure she was out of sight. When the vilainess scanned the area, she knew that Lucky Girl was gone, so she used a spell that did something quite interesting.
Charmcaster: Silicus Milez Sasitatio.
Once that incantation was finished, multiple magenta portals opened up on the ground, from which giant, stone golem with magenta markings and eyes crawled out of.
Charmcaster: Alright, spread out and find this twerp!
Following the orders that they were given, the Stone Creatures began to go in all directions, lifting up and smashing debris to find where Lucky Girl was hiding. Luckily, our heroine managed to use a spell she had learned when she was much younger. An invisibility spell, to be accurate. So, while invisible, Lucky Girl carefully sneaked around the museum, avoiding the Stone Creatures while doing her best to make as little noise as possible as she made her way to the second floor of the museum, as it was the only way to get on a playing field that was sort of even.
While it did take a bit, Lucky Girl did eventually reach higher ground. Even better, she was right beside Charmcaster, who was still hovering in the air, ordering around her rock monsters and keeping Eddie in her clutches. Lucky Girl began to take deep breaths, helping herself calm down so she could properly aim at the charm on Charmcaster's shirt. After a bit of this Lucky Girl got up, raised her right arm out towards Charmcaster and prepared to use a spell.
Lucky Girl, softly: Appendaga Regoria.
A beam of pink energy shot out of her hand, hitting Charmcaster dead on. Once it hit her, Charmcaster seemed to freeze in place, almost as if someone had pressed pause on any and all of her movements. Then, after taking a deep breath, Lucky Girl ran off of the balcony of the second floor, jumped over Charmcaster, grabbed the charm off of her shirt and landed over on the other balcony. After Lucky Girl had finished her landing, Charmcaster returned back to normal. However, due to no longer having the Charm of Bezel, she began to fall.
Luckily, one of the Stone Creatures managed to catch her before she crashed onto the ground. However, once she gained her bearings, she noticed that the Charm she wore was no longer on her. As Lucky Girl's invisibility was wearing off, she instinctively put the Charm onto her chest, which caused another wave of energy to wash over her. With a newfound confidence, Lucky Girl dismounted off of the balcony and began to float down.
Lucky Girl: Game over, Charmy. Now, be a good girl and come quietly.
Charmcaster: My Charm of Telekinesis! Return that to me at once!
Lucky Girl: Sorry, no can do. You were going to harm a not so innocent person who is currently on the path of redemption. Oh, and don't try running out the door, because if I'm lucky...
Almost on cue, the sound of police sirens could be heard as multiple tires screeched to halt.
Lucky Girl: ...The police have just arrived.
Charmcaster: GRAH! You'll rue the day you ever dared cross Charmcaster, Lucky Girl. Exciase!
Suddenly, a large wavy, translucent magenta sphere surrounded Charmcaster, with her slowly fading away before vanishing entirely. The moment she disappeared, her rocky minions began to crumble into tiny bits. Around that moment, the police and Max Tennyson and what seemed to be the Police's Commissioner busted into the building, seeing the destruction that was done to the place. Lucky Girl then floated down to the ground
Lucky Girl: Max, Commissioner Anderson. Looks like you got here a bit late.
Sasha: Just Sasha is fine, Lucky Girl. And yes, we were definitely late. But, if you don't mind me asking, who exactly did all of this?
Lucky Girl: Some girl that called herself Charmcastet, looked to be around my age. But other than her being able to use magic and hating Eddie, I don't got much on her.
Max: Interesting. Looks like we're gonna need some heavy machinery to get him down.
Eddie: Ugh...this is so humiliating...what have I done to deserve this?
Lucky Girl: Do you really need me to answer that?!
Eddie: IT WAS A RHETORICAL QUESTION!
Everyone couldn't help but chuckle at the predicament that the manipulative boy was in. Sure, it was an incredibly uncomfortable situation for anybody to be in, but Eddie himself was one of the few people who actually deserved to be in a situation such as this.
Max: Alright, Lucky Girl, the police can take it from here. You go take a break, okay?
Lucky Girl: S-sure, sounds like a plan to me. I'm feeling pretty beat. See ya later!
With a quick salute, Lucky Girl flew off, with the help of the Charm of Telekinesis, through the hole in the roof. While the police handled the crime, Lucky Girl flew into another alleyway and transformed back to her normal, nerdy self. She then quickly pulled out her phone and texted Jessica about what had just happened and how she'd be at the mall as soon as she could. But first, it was time to head home and freshen up a bit.
After a bit of a walk, Hailey eventually returned to her mother's apartment complex. The moment she entered her room, she practically flopped right onto her bed so she could get some much needed rest after that fight.
Hailey: Ugh...I feel...so sore. Man, using magic really takes a lot out of ya.
She then put her head onto her pillow, which was immediately followed by an all too familiar soothing feeling being washed all over her.
Hailey: Ah...that's the stuff. Thanks, Whapir.
Right next to Hailey's bed was a round, stubby, quadrupedal Yo-kai that had a long nose akin to an elephant.
Whapir: No need, Hailey. It's the least I can do for the heroine of Springdale.
After taking a bit of a nap while Whapir did her stuff, Hailey awoke feeling refreshed and vibrant. She then rushed to the Bathroom, quickly got a shower, fixed herself up, changed into a fresh pair of clothes and prepared to head to Sunset Mall. To save her some trouble, Hailey used the Mirapo outside of her room to teleport to the Everymart in Downtown Springdale. More accurately, its bathroom, which she quickly got out of before anyone else could enter. She then made her way to Sunset Mall, where her friends, Jessica and Usapyon (who was no longer disguised as Hailey) were waiting.
Hailey: Hi-hi! Sorry I'm late!
Jessica: Eh, don't worry about it. You partner her was keeping me company.
Usapyon: Daw, don'cha mention it!
Jessica: Anyway, lets get to shopping!
With a joyous energy, Hailey, Jessica and Usapyon entered the Mall, excited to finally have a chance to relax for a bit. With excitement, the three began to go to all of the shops that they could, looking at display cases, trying on dresses, listening to the music that was playing over the speakers and watching some movies, the whole nine yards. This went on for a good few hours, and the three of them were having a blast as they went along their merry way. And to finish off their little museum adventure, they all finished off with a nice meal at the cafe.
So, after a tad bit of walking, the three of them made their way to the cafe, got their usual meals (with Hailey ordering something to Usapyon's liking) and went to their seats, where they waited patiently for their food to be prepared. As they waited, Jessica, Hailey and Usapyon began to talk about the events at the museum.
Jessica: So, how'd you fare against that Charmcaster character?
Hailey: Oh, I'd say that I fared pretty well. First, when I was at the Community Center, I found this charm that belonged to a group of charms known as the Charms of Bezel. The one I found was the Charm of Luck and what it does is pretty self explanatory. Thanks to that bad boy, I was able to locate Charmcaster's location almost instantly. Then, when I confronted her, I fought her for a bit, used an invisiblity spell when I was cornered and stole her Charm of Bezel, which was the Charm of Telekinesis, and she teleported away with her tail tucked between her legs.
Jessica: Wow. Well, what does the other Charm do?
Usapyon: I'd assume that it makes stuff float? Cause, if I recall correctly, telekinesis is just allowing ya to make stuff float with yer mind.
Hailey: Well, it does do that, but it also grants me the ability to fly. And it is awesome.
Jessica: It sounds awesome.
Usapyon: Wait...if that Charmcaster girl up an' ran away, where in tarnation did she go?
Hailey: Honestly? I dunno. But, where ever she is, I hope that she learnt her lesson when she decided to mess with my town.
Somewhere, in a house in Uptown Springdale, in a dark room, an all too familiar white haired girl was pacing back and forth, muttering to herself.
Charmcaster: That damned Lucky Girl. How dare she interfere with my plan? I was doing something that would benefit humanity as a whole! Why can't she see that?! Bah, no matter. I have more than enough time to be rid of that piece of human trash. I just have to find a way to get to that my hands around that damned boy's neck...
But before she had any chance to think about how she could torment and kill Eddie, a knocking could be heard at her door, causing Charmcaster to stumble a bit, not expecting anyone to interrupt her thought process.
Charmcaster: U-um, yes?
Female voice: Dinner's ready, sweetie.
Charmcaster: O-okay, mom!
Taking a deep breath, Charmcaster got rid of her magical outfit in a similar way Lucky Girl would change into her regular form. Once the magenta light dissipated, where the villainess Charmcaster was now replaced by a familiar looking girl, who had her brown hair held up in a ponytail. With a grim expression, Charmcaster, now in her normal form of Katie Forester, began to make her way to her bedroom door and opened it with a grim expression.
Katie: Just you wait, Edward. Soon, you'll be the one to suffer. I just need to see this through to the end...
Katie exited her room, closing the door behind her. After she did so, the cover of the large book that was on her desk, which was the one she was carrying around at school, began to glow a dark, ominous shade of crimson, almost as if it was acting as a beacon of sorts for some other, outside force.
Meanwhile, back on the Chimeran Hammer, the ever dangerous Conqueror, Vilgax was having his cybernetically enhanced body undergoing some maintenence via some small drones while he sat on his throne. With a menacing glare, he kept his eyes glued onto his monitors that had images of Nate Adams, the Omnitrix and the Bounty Hunters he had hired. As he looked at his monitors, Vilgax's ever loyal servant, Psyphon, entered the room. Once he was near Vilgax, he quickly knelt down.
Psyphon: My Lord, the Bounty Hunters that you hired are here.
Vilgax: Excellent. Prepare the simulations. I wish to see if these "Bounty Hunters" are worthy of this task.
With a nod, Psyphon got up and left Vilgax to his own devices.
Vilgax: Enjoy your freedom while you still have it, boy. Soon, the Omnitrix shall be in my clutches and the universe shall be mine!
