Later that day. George was finishing up in a patient's room and Olivia was at the nurse's station awaiting George. Ten minutes had gone by after George's shift was supposed to end. Olivia was getting worried.
Olivia: (thinking) George would never leave me hanging. That's not like him. (A few fellow nurses start to leave.) Its not.
Jess (one of the nurses): Hey Olivia! Is there something wrong?
Olivia: (not trying to be upset) No, not at all. In fact, I was leaving.
Rach: (the other nurse) Oh, ok. Well, we will walk out with you. (The three nurses began to walk towards the elevator when someone ran towards them…..)
George: Olivia? Did you forget about Joes? (Rach and Jess both looked at each other before bidding Olivia a good night) Or did I miss something?
Olivia: (smiling and nodding towards Jess, when she signal Olivia to call her)I thought you forgot about me. I was waiting for ten minutes. So, I figured you changed your mind.
George: I got held back in a patient's room. I would never forget about you. (He touched Olivia's face) Come on lets go. Oh, wait. I need to call Izzie first. (Olivia smiled and nodded. George took out his cell phone and began calling Izzie) Hey Izzie! I just called to see how you are doing. I know and its ok to feel like that. Listen, I'm not going to be home until late, so just call me if you need anything. Yes, I know you have Alex, but just call, ok? What? Who? No… I'm not going out with Callie. We are over remember? I'm just hanging out with a friend. (he looked at Olivia, smiling) Ok, well I got to go. I'll talk to you later, bye.
Olivia: How was Izzie?
George: She is still blaming herself. I guess that's normal and I'm glad she has Alex to help her. I'm glad you asked about her. Even with everything that happened.
Olivia: Well, she's your family George and like I said once, I was lonely
George: I'm sorry. (He put his arm around Olivia) Let's go. Stairs?
Olivia: Stairs. (And with that, they went down the stairs and out the front door.)
