I wrote this when I was extremely bored, and I had re-watched the anime episodes. I just
thought Sasuke looked extremely sad when he looked back, so I wrote this. It is just a
poem on Sasuke's feeling after he fought Naruto.

Starless Dark
I walk this long, lonely road
The rain drenching my stricken soul
My heart crumbling under the load
But strengthening when I remember my goal
I have come so far through the starless dark
Forsaking all that I have gained, even the light
That offered to help me fight the black night
I'm going to the one who gave me this mark
I stop, turn and look back
Thinking of all that I leave behind
The rain reminds me of all I lack
But I realize there is no going back
I have come so far through the starless dark
Forsaking the only friend I ever made
I looked down at him where he laid
Then I left to see the owner of the mark
So I walk on through the night
My memories turning to my brother
And I can no longer think of any other
This is the goal forever strengthening my resolve.
